Merge Cooking® Positive Reviews
Better than the rest…I’ve played at least several other merge (this includes “cooking”) games, and this one stands above them all. Primarily speaking to the gameplay/mechanics. This one actually incorporates a cooking element as opposed to just mindless combining; ingredients at any tier are used for recipes, so planning and forethought is helpful and adds to the fun with more complexity/sense. When you unlock the multipliers for energy use per tap this game will refund you energy if it generates an ingredient that should cost less (when it generates a lower level one that the game will know to generate for a dish currently in the order queue). There’s plenty of organization space (though you still need to manage it well) in order to accommodate this. There are many recipes, and as you progress through different themed locales you’ll learn newer ones and gain new equipment. I’m at level 35 and this is still the case. While I can get impatient with energy regeneration, the cook time aids a bit to “immersion” and in my mind helps curb said impatience. There are items you can buy to speed things up but a downside is that any item is really expensive and will cost you money. I spend as occasionally as possible and since I’m playing it via referral from a third party that rewards you based on your progress I’ve actually made a modest bit of pocket change. But again, my review is more based off the gameplay itself. If you enjoy merge games like I do, you’ll Really enjoy this..Version: 1.36.0
Ads Don’t WorkOk so first I would like to say that I LOVE this game. I have tried almost all merge games that are available for iPhone and this is by far #1 so I am giving it five stars. Now I do have to say that once I got to the first making a hot dog level, and even after watching an ad about 5 times, it still won’t give me my reward for bubbles and speeding up the generators time on the board. I know that other people are having this same problem as well so I just thought that I would let you know. I do know that it could be because I am playing on an iPhone 6s Plus. I’m sure that is probably a factor since the game may not be compatible with an old phone. So that might be the problem for other people who are having the same ad issue as well. I will say that after the last couple of IOS updates that my phone has been freezing and glitching a lot, mostly when playing games. I’m guessing it’s because my phone is older. Sorry for the long review. Once again, thanks for making such a great game and actually reading and responding to some customer feedbacks. It’s really refreshing and I know it’s hard to read the bad reviews sometimes. You’re all doing a great job! Update: Thank you so much for the response! I am now having no problems with ads whatsoever! It may have just been those few levels that were the problem, but if it was you guys then thank you for the quick fix!.Version: 1.0.52
Great game but 1 thing to complain aboutFirst of all, i've had this game for months, i love it. I love the merging part and the daily tasks, i also appreciate that it gets harder and you get newer items the further in you get. I don't mind waiting for my energy to fill because it reminds me to put down my phone for a bit instead of being sucked in for hours. I like the unlocking new items feature to, when you merge you get something new so it's all kinda a mystery and you get small rewards for unlocking new items. Now the one thing i will complain about is that there's no option to NOT want to do the mini challenges with time limits, like the 'making a burger' challenge where you do a certain amount of orders and then get a prize when you've finished. If it pops up you HAVE to do it, now i don't like this feature because as i stated earlier this is a game where you have limited energy and your orders get harder as you progress, this makes it extremely hard for some of the challenges because i don't have enough energy to finish the orders in the given time limit. So i'm basically wasting time trying to participate and end up losing anyways. It makes it a little frustrating to play and makes me not want to play the game for a while after. I wouldn't be so upset if the challenges were every once in a while but there's a new one every day, it's a time limit of like 12 hours and that's just not possible to do when you have a life outside of your phone and the orders getting more difficult..Version: 1.1.55
Loved the Game - Support Non-ExistentUpdate April 9 - I was not aware that the Recipe card was active. When it first appeared and I got levels 1 & 2 I thought the card was “inactive” and left it in the inventory waiting to “win” another card to get to level 6. The instructions on this one are not clear at all, so maybe that can be pointed out. I actually really enjoy this game and was frustrated when I didn’t see any way out or response at first. Thank you. Updated to 5 stars. This is a really fun game. Update: April 7 - I received a message from the developer via Apple, with no way to reply directly to them so I went to their Happibits website and opened a trouble ticket, providing many screenshots. No response. I don’t think anyone works there or cares about bugs in the game. I literally opened a trouble ticket and got no reply. I’ve been stuck with an unfillable order in the game for over two weeks. I’ve been really enjoying this game for a couple weeks. I was given an order that cannot be filled and there is no way to “buy” what’s needed, or win, or lose and move forward to something new. I am just stuck. I can’t fill the last order, which requires a “level 6 BBQ recipe” card when I only have a level 2 BBQ card. I was hoping it would reset overnight or give me a way out, but nope. So, I just merge items over and over, never fill the last order, never advance to the next level, never collect what’s needed because an unattainable recipe card has ended it for me. Emailed support twice, no reply. There is also no way to “buy” recipe cards or exit or lose to begin again. Really disappointed. A sad ending to a truly engaging game..Version: 1.35.1
Frequent events and very addictiveI don’t usually play the same games for too long considering they become boring after a while, but with merge cooking it’s designed in a way where you progressively complete every unique order. I love the constant events that allow you to get extra energy and gems, as well as the fact that you can even learn to play this game in a more strategic way once you get used to it. I’ve been playing for over a year now, and restarted for fun when I got a new phone. If there’s one issue I have, it’s the unreliability of the game depending on where you are located or what device you are on. Some people are offered better deals for events, power up’s, and even access to ads in order to replenish energy. I wish that the developers would just choose to make ads unlimited considering it will alleviate the regular frustration this game also brings when you have to wait 3 hours for your energy back because you don’t get ads. This game can be incredibly fun if you are looking for something casual instead of competitive though..Version: 1.31.2
Really good merging gameI love the aesthetic of the items, I also love that we go to various countries to explore different cuisines, I think the card pack events have cute pictures. I do has some quality of life pointers that could make the game better: when bubble items appear, if you accidentally press the option to spend diamonds, there should be a confirmation page. There’s a confirmation page for popping the bubble, so there’s absolutely no reason why there shouldn’t be one for spending diamonds, which makes it feel like the game wants you to accidentally press that so you’re accidentally down a potentially large chunk of diamonds that you have been saving. In general, there should be more warnings that you’re about to spend diamonds so that you don’t fall into that trap of accidentally spending diamonds. The souvenir generators are also the bane of my existence, Great Britain’s was especially awful. They really are the thing that make me not want to play the game because of how little they generate, how long they take to replenish, and the fact that you’re limited on ads to replenish and are eventually forced to spend diamonds. I wouldn’t dislike them so much if they weren’t a blatant addition for the sake of getting you to spend diamonds. Making them not take so ridiculously long to replenish, or making them generate just a little more would make the experience with the souvenir generators a lot less painful. Edit to add, I know you’re not the only one that uses AI, but your AI promo for the game is so uncanny and nonsensical, one of them has Lea’s kid holding a sparkler in her left hand and then it just disappears like what 😭.Version: 1.30.0
Fun game.. not much play time thoughI really love this merge game. (Thanks fetch) It’s way more detailed than most merge games. For example: you can make pies and brownies etc that you will need to make a glass bowl, you will need to make flour, and butter. So like you merge for “ ingredients” then get to cook it in which ever is the proper cooking device. (Oven, grill, juicer, frying pan and a prep area) which I thought was way more fun than just aimlessly merging items that don’t make sense! I found this game from my fetch game play account and normally after I complete my game tasks for fetch, I delete the game. But not this one! I love it so much. My only issue would be that there’s no ad system to get energy so once I’m out of energy I have to quit playing. (Booooo) I have purchased a few gem packs but I’m a single mom and don’t have a ton of money to spend on games. So that’s my ONLY dislike about this game. And plus when I did buy the gem packs, I was out of gems in a matter of a hour… but that’s what I had to do to keep playing. I don’t think that’s fair. I would love to play more than a few mins at a time. Please add some type of ad system to get more energy. But yea other than that, this is one of the best detailed merge games I’ve played! And I’ve played soooo many merge games. This one rocks!.Version: 1.8.0
BottlenecksThe game is fun and cute at first, but as the other reviewers have mentioned, the energy points run out quickly. If you regularly spend money to buy energy and gems, you’ll find they only get you a little bit farther - as every time you refill your energy points by using gems, the price doubles! Same scenario if you use gems to refresh your generators. It quickly starts to feel like you’re being ripped off and disincentivized to keep playing. “Rewards” for achieving tasks or winning competitions are pretty small and frankly not very exciting. Also, there can be big bottlenecks with certain high level food orders (e.g. surf and turf). One combination food item with one level-nine ingredient and two level-eight ingredients essentially cost 1,024 energy points to create through merges (2,024 minutes or 34 hours of waiting to earn energy) and then to add injury to insult it will take forever for the equipment to prepare it, so you will have to use food boosters and/or gems. This will also prevent you from moving on to any new orders and makes the game play kinda slow and boring while you slog through for one order. If these problems get addressed, the game would be so much better to play and incentivize players to spend. Right now, the value proposition is not great and the bottlenecks really detract from enjoyment..Version: 1.22.0
Cute game…BUTI started playing this game because it gives me Fetch points. I got hooked on it right away but I soon realized they have it set in a way that you almost feel like you have to spend money to complete dishes or tasks. For example, there was a task you can do. They give you an hr to get the items made BUT you only have so many lightenings to use and when you click on the item you need to use to generate foods to make a certain item, it’s almost impossible to do. I was considering on spending money just to complete it but decided not to because money is tight for everyone. I literally needed one more fruit to complete the task. I forgot to mention that when you click on the item to generate foods, you have to click it a bunch of times to get certain foods to mesh together to make a different food item that you need to complete a dish or tasks. Which eats up the lightening that you need to use to get foods, which once you run out it takes 1-2 mins to get one UNLESS you spend money to get gems and you can buy lightenings. To me, you need a lot of patience so you can fulfill tasks or dishes. Or spend money because to want to sit around and wait for things to get refilled, I can see me getting bored/ frustrated with this game very easy..Version: 1.15.0
Great if you like being told what to click next, and enjoy playing 5 different games at once !When I first started playing this game it was almost a joke. 2 cherries makes strawberry, 2 strawberries makes an apple. Click on the protein generator to pop out some eggs! It sounds silly. It is silly . But once you start to get the hang of the system of merging foods to make new foods, and actually getting and cooking the ingredients needed to make more complex recipes, it is pretty satisfying. The only thing that really bothers me is the fact that there is very little critical thinking involved. In fact, if you actually pause for a moment to take a look at the board, things will start like flashing in your face to tell you what to click next. That part is annoying. Basically the game guides you on what to click next, pretty much constantly . The other part that bothers me is all the pop ups trying to get you to buy things. Also; there are like multiple games going on simultaneously, they couldn't just leave it at cooking. You are working on cooking, simultaneously working on construction renovations, also on merging holiday cats, also on completing a puzzle one piece at a time, also participating in a chili "cook off", while also working on a collection of winter trading cards, and on the side they want you to construct a winter village piece by piece. I wish I was exaggerating but this is REALLY all of the things they have going on in this 1 cooking game. If you like being told where you should click next, enjoy trying to do 10 things at the same time, and the idea of combining 2 ice cubes to transform it into milk... this game is for you!.Version: 1.22.0
SuggestionThis app is honestly my favorite in my entire phone. I love it so much, all of the events are super fun! One thing I'd like to suggest, though, is being able to sell bubble items instead of having to wait for a minute. I also sometimes have a problem where when the game is on in the background (I'm on another app or my phone is off), but when I go back on the game the timers for things that are baking in the equipment have continued their timer, but some things like energy/bubble items have not processed still, so I still have to wait for those things. I mostly would prefer something be done about the bubble items, mostly if we can sell them for a coin instead of wait until the time is up, in case our boards are full, or even making a larger board, such as making arrows on the sides of the screen. It can cost coins if needed, but either way, I believe that there should be a way to get rid of bubble items faster (they can't be put in inventory or in equipment to make room, so it tends to be more of a burden than a reward.) Thank you so much! (Also tip for new people, put items inside the equipment (ex: apple in juicer, meat in oven) to make space (but don't cook it unless needed).Version: 1.1.21
New update made the game less enjoyable and incentivizes pay to playSo I’ve been playing for a few months now. It’s a fun, relaxing game. I really enjoyed that it didn’t feel pay to win at the start. I’d get on the game multiple times a day and the progression is cute and I like the rotating events - my favorite is the fishing one! However, with the newest update - or maybe because I decided to pay for the monthly pass - I don’t have the option to watch ads to get the daily road to treasure rewards or the daily deals anymore. Before, I could watch an ad to receive each reward. Now, the only option is “pay $1 to get all these rewards” or use diamonds to buy the daily deals. It left a terrible taste in my mouth because I decided to support this game because it didn’t feel like I was forced to pay money. It gets tougher the more you advance in the game because there’s more energy cost: 4 energy per click so you can click 25 times before you run out so I was really utilizing ads to get more energy. It seems like the developers are going more towards pay to play. I’ve bought the monthly pass now but I don’t see myself buying it again if these changes are permanent..Version: 1.1.89
A perfect balance!Ok, I’m just going to say I love this game. I have played merge games before and none even compare to this one. I would try them out for a little, and then uninstall the game because I got bored of it. But this? This is the perfect merge app. It’s unique in the goal of the game. Most other merge games you have to merge the items and objects to protect something or restore something. In merge cooking, you merge the items and ingredients to serve the customers. You still have to renovate, but that is different too, because your building upon your restaurant rather than restoring something that was lost. It’s addicting. I haven’t been able to stop playing. You might think of that as a downside, because it’s not good for your eyes. But, there’s a balance. It is addicting and I don’t want to stop playing, but after a while, you run out of energy, so you have to wait a while for it to refill enough. That means you won’t damage your eyes by staring at it too long. The music is great. I love the music. The art is great, and the animation is smooth. I want to say that I love the art. The animation is great and runs smoothly, too. No random adds. I was worried about constant adds, but, the only adds I’ve had are the adds I choose to watch for a reward. In all, this is a great game and keeps my mind occupied. I would definitely recommend it. ——— PinkFlamingoTV.Version: 1.0.84
Recently Severely Dumbed Down Rewards from Adds Watched(Edit) I have considered what the devs have said in their response to my below review of 1 star and will keep playing to see if the add dry spell ends. I appreciate the devs reaching out and trying to explain. I will change my 1 star review back to a 4 star if and until I see further issues with the adds/rewards system. (Original) I have been playing this game for a long time. It has been the most generous merge game with rewards allowed to be gained through watching adds I have yet played. Despite this generosity I have still happily payed some dollars here and there for gems for added storage. The mechanics are fun and engaging for a merge game, or as I call the genre “inventory management: the game”. Recently I have experienced that many rewards that I used to be able to earn watching adds have been replaced by a pay wall or a purchase of purple gems. As someone who already spends money on the game to suddenly have to dish out more for rewards that I used to get from adds has greatly limited my ability to keep playing the game at the level I was used to, changing the pace of the game for the much worse. It makes it difficult to keep playing. It feels like the devs have suddenly put heavy weights on my progress of the game to pressure me into spending more money to maintain the feel of the game. Anytime a mobile game does this it ruins the game for me and I delete it and move on. Don’t get people used to a certain pace and then suddenly yank the leash back. It is a nasty feeling for players that can and will kill the fun. I guess I will now be funneling more money to Merge Survival instead. They have much more extensive and dynamic mechanics that deserve money more than a game that alters gameplay for the chance of a few extra $0.99s..Version: 1.10.0
Good game at its base, slightly predatory though. The ad I received isn’t the actual gameplay however, I can look past that as the actual gameplay is better~ but bait and switch law does exist so there’s that. The only other downside is that they are quite predatory with how you can pay for more energy, gems, or this beginner pack, or this valentines day pack, and you don’t have to buy it but every time I open the app or run out of energy it gets suggested & the car dealership business motto happens, it’s a “deal that’ll disappear forever” so now you feel required to purchase it. I also personally don’t care for the events and the inability to skip them or really any random tutorial for that event is quite irritating, would love to see the ability to just play the cooking and building part without the twelve icons for events or packs I can buy on the home screen. This is a very good game at its base but, it’s easy to get annoyed and quit playing when you’ve seem to run out of energy and are now prompted to buy a “one time deal” that’ll “disappear forever”… instead of suggesting I go back to the Home Screen and build my restaurant more because I’ve accidentally forgotten to do that..Version: 1.1.77
Love this game BUTTT...So i've been playing this game for about 2-3 months now and i'm absolutely in love with it. On my free time, i come and play this game and it's always on my mind. I even got my sister addicted to the game. We are always comparing the food we need to make and racing too see who can finish first. It's really fun untilll we both realized that we both have different features. For example on my end, I can pick and choose what items I want to put on my menu (the items u collect for completing tasks) but my sister doesn't have that option. Whatever she gets has to go on her board. Also on my end, I have the option to use double energy but she doesn't have that, instead she has the option to watch ads to get extra energy. We also get different challenges and we are not understanding why this is happening when we have the same game. All these features are amazing but my complaint is that we both get different useful features but it's not the same on both ends. It's really confusing since it's the EXACT same game but other than that this game is really fun and addictive..Version: 1.1.91
Fun but..I really enjoy this game so much. But I wish they’d give you more opportunities to gain energy or diamonds than they do. I have over 5k speed ups but the fact that it’s so rare that they give energy out means I have to wait hours between playing to regenerate my energy completely. Seems like a money grab to me. No option to watch ads for energy either. You start with giving 10 diamonds for 100 energy then 20 then 40 then 80 then 120 all for the same 100 energy.. it gets crazy expensive and your only other option is buying more diamonds if you don’t want to wait. Good for the developers I guess… anyway, if you’re looking for a cool option that gives out tons of energy and diamonds, check out the game Gossip Harbor. I have nothing to do with the app so I get nothing out of promoting it, but it’s just a ton of fun, has a cool story to follow, and you don’t have to switch to something else as often as you do with this one. Still giving this 4 stars for animation and being pretty addictive. Just please give energy and diamonds over so many cameras and speed ups!.Version: 1.35.1
No longer fun to playUpdate 2: I went back to the game and checked to see if the good features had returned and they finally had. Honestly the ads to earn extra energy and chests are the only thing that makes the game worth playing at the higher levels. I’m on level 97 and it can take 300+ energy to get 1 ingredient for a task. So without the ads to earn extra energy and chests the game would cost you tons of real money to even complete tasks. So I’ll give it 4 stars unless they take the ads away again. Update: They ask me to wait and the ads will return, it’s been a week and they have not returned. They ask me to rate it higher, but honestly it’s no fun at all anymore, so I am rating it less. I made it to level 90+, spent some money and now I am done. I have enjoyed this game and played it everyday until the last couple days. They took away almost everything you could watch an ad to earn. It already took forever to complete tasks with the extras from ads, now all of that is gone. And I tried to email about why and that isn’t a working option either..Version: 1.29.0
I love this game!I absolutely love playing this game. It’s one of my favorite games. However, there are WAY too many pop ups. It’s agressieve and excessive! The first thing you get when you open the app is about 5-6 pop ups back to back. It’s to a point where sometimes you try to click something and it has a pop up where you accidentally click to buy something because they’re so many. This is obviously done intentionally and I don’t think it’s right. From an advertising standpoint, absolutely horrible. Too pushy and as mentioned, beyond aggressive. Now, onto a gameplay perspective. In terms of the actual game itself, this game is SO MUCH FUN! It’s challenging in great ways, you can level up pretty quickly as long as you remain consistent with playing. I like the mini games/challenges that we get to do as well. Some of the competitive mini games are not realistic though. It’s impossible to beat some of those. You need more time to have any chance. That said, I truly enjoy this game, I do NOT enjoy the excessive amount of ads and pop-ups, though..Version: 1.13.0
Fun but CostlyIt’s fun and challenging enough for a 5 star rating but only worthy of 2-3 stars because of costs associated with it takes several hundred enemies to get just one high level item. No matter how many items you collect, you’re never awarded a significant number of gems. Energies can’t be earned with ads and gems are awarded 1-2 at a time. When finally you purchase gems, the cost of energies is doubled for every batch needed. You can get 100 energies for 10 gems but eventually you’re paying 160 gems for the same 10 energies. This absurd and designed to force the users to spend actual money. It shouldn’t cost 1000s of energies to complete a level. High level items should be placed on the board and not just lower level items. Spending 450 plus coins to renovate only to earn 35 energies is ridiculous. It’s almost like being at the casino where only the house is expected to win. Very frustrating. I will be abandoning the game despite how much I’ve enjoyed it. The cost of energies should not increase. Developers please do t gloss over our concerns and issue some coined response with no efforts to resolve..Version: 1.41.0
Fix the grain generatorLove this game, totally addicted in fact, and it’s the first one I played to begin my day. I love the new Japanese content, but my only gripe is how many recipes require the grain generator. I have two tables so I am constantly making the nerikeri rice dough. So I am 4X on energy, but I’m still getting one X result, despite the fact that I need the higher level of grains. The generator gives me a common bean for the recipe(only need one )and I use that. Problem is after I put the one bean in the table. The generator keeps giving me nothing but common beans, making me waste my 4X energy to give me a one X item, even though I no longer need it. I barely get any flour, or wheat to make merging to the higher level of the nerikeri dough a little quicker. I have to use so many energy to keep merging together common bean. This is kind of driving me crazy a bit because then I don’t have enough energy to do anything else. Other than this one thing, I’m really enjoying the game very much but please just consider what I’m telling you. Thanks for listening..Version: 1.13.0
Gets overwhelming after a whileCute game, considering how you can drag and drop to cook items. There’s none other like it. But after a while, the longer you play the longer it takes to complete a round. At this point I’m no longer inspired to play anymore. It takes waaaay too long to accomplish a round. Sometimes days. Plus it’s too easy to accidentally merge two items. And if you do, there’s no undoing it, unless you purchase an expensive scissor to unmerge them. Those scissors rarely come around for free. Good luck if you accidentally merge two items, cause you’re basically back to square one. Very frustrating. Also there’s no incentive in decorating the restaurants. It’s the same each time a new décor task is completed. Since the player has no choice on the decorations, you don’t even care or pay attention. And lots of times I was supposed be granted a reward after watching an ad, and never received the reward. This game went from being the best stress reliever at the beginning, to extremely overwhelming and frustrating after a few months. Had to stop playing..Version: 1.0.77
Fun, but too expensiveI honestly love this game, but it’s kinda ridiculous that the max energy is only 100. Whenever you set the energy to the x4 mode to get better drops, that’s quite literally maybe 5 minutes of playing time. Also, with the events and stuff, you can’t even get close to completing any of the tasks unless you spend money because you run out of energy so fast, and it’s honestly just unfair and greedy. I play games to pass time, and honestly, what’s the point of having a game that you can only play for 5 minutes at a time unless you spend real money? I just think the max energy should be at least 300 or more to satisfy those of us that prefer not to spend their hard earned money on a FREE app. That would at least give us more playing time and we’d be able to make more progress in the game and at least have a chance of completing the events. It’s extremely disheartening to love a game just to figure out you have to spend real money just to even make progress in the game. This game is so fun, but I will be deleting soon because of these reasons..Version: 1.13.0
Remove energy all togetherThis game is great but I’m not understanding the energy feature, just because other merge games have it doesn’t mean you have to. Wouldn’t the goal when making a game be to keep the player on the app as long as possible? There is Zero things to do when you are out of energy, resulting in me leaving the app. I understand the goal to make more money by people paying for more energy, but really think about that; how many people are actually paying that multiple times instead of just deleting the game. This isn’t an add on game purchase, this is a key part of the game. I’d spend 5 dollars on a Fortnite backpack or emote but any normal person is not spending 5 dollars on energy to play a mobile app. Why should people have to pay to play this game over and over? Makes zero sense cause I would actually be on this game for more than ten minutes if I could you know, actually play it. I’m typing this cause I ran out of energy and by the time I’m done I still won’t have any, so I just wanted to point out how stupid who ever made this game was..Version: 1.18.0
I love the game but…I really do like this game, I have been playing it for about a year consistently but I have a few grievances. Its unfair how much some items costs when you’re paying in gems. Some items are 250+ gems. Even if I was to save up what I earn from events and gift boxes it would take me months to save up that many gems for one item. I think we should also earn more energy for the surplus of ads we have to watch. Some of the events are impossible to complete fully without buying an extension or some sort of “pack”. While I understand you have to make revenue, I think people participating in ad watching should have an opportunity to complete events as well. I hope things change, I really enjoy this game and would like to keep playing but it gets exhausting sometimes. It saddens me to see other reviewers bring up the same issue only to be met with “Were sorry you feel that way were constantly trying to improve user experience” and nothing happens..Version: 1.30.0
More complex and entertaining. Most match games like this have the same sets of things you put together to create one specific thing. That’s it. This one adds in the ability to put 2-5 things together to make a whole new dish. I find that really neat and challenging, albeit at times frustrating. The frustrating part is how long the generators you get the products out of run out of energy. Running out of energy is part of the challenge, I get it. The frustrating part is how long it takes them to come back. But when they first come back they’re not up to “full energy” they last for a very short time then are out of energy once more. It takes forever, hours, to get them back to full energy. I honestly don’t know how long. That unknown is frustrating. If there were a bit in the bottom showing how much time remaining till FULL ENERGY then it would be easier to play rather than guessing and hoping the fruit generator is back up to snuff..Version: 1.33.0
Great game!I have been playing this game for a while and each day, it makes me want to come back and check on progress. This is a great game for the following reasons… I love the graphics. Very simple and easy to follow so I know what I am matching when the board is full. Many other matching games I played was just ‘too cute’ and I got frustrated finding the items. I love the ways I can earn rewards, energy, and extras with reasonable amount of ads if I don’t want to pay. I can play a good amount of time before I need to let the items recharge or out of energy. Even if I decided to watch an ad, I earned good play time afterwards and still enjoyed it before I have to wait again. Just for those reasons, I don’t mind buying energy with real money every now and again because I don’t feel forced to pay. The building of the restaurant earns great rewards! If I play with some strategies, I can plan to play the game for a while and then build the restaurant to earn even more rewards such as energy to prolong the play time. Plus it is rather easy to manage the board with the fridge storage when the board is full. It doesn’t ask for ungodly amount of money or gems to open up the slots. Totally happy with this game. It is highly recommended! Great job and looking forward for more!.Version: 1.0.47
Sad truth about this really fun gameI’m on level 90 on my iPad and 63 on my phone and about 20 levels ago for both i started noticing the stark differences in what you get from this game. The higher up you go (which you’ll go high cause it’s such a fun and relaxing game) they start intentionally withholding things to make you pay. You can go through 750 lives in about 5 minutes and only complete 3 orders (not even a full round). Unfortunately, i’m not exaggerating. The higher up you go, they also remove the option to watch ads to get more energy or perks. The generators will start only giving you one or two of the ingredients you need, so by the time you’ve completed getting one ingredient, you’ve used all of your energy and still haven’t completed the actual order. By the time you get to level 90, there are almost no more freebies and the game no longer becomes worth it or as fun imo because it’s no longer truly free..Version: 1.42.0
Fun at first but gets overwhelming and boringI really enjoyed this game in the beginning, it was very satisfying and fun to merge things together to create something new. But now there are way too many generators that I have no space for, the generators don’t give you enough items before needing to recharge, and you have very limited energy that only lasts a few minutes. So you end up with a lot of items and parts that can’t be merged at the moment and it gets crowded and annoying. My fridge is full of generator parts that I just can’t use yet, and now I have a generator that creates stamps and cowboy hats? What? What is the point of this non-food generator taking up even more valuable space in my restaurant? I’m just not having much fun anymore, I can never get to the final level for any food item because I run out of energy too quickly and the customers will just take them anyway and I have to start over. I’m still on the hunt for a more relaxing merge game that doesn’t get too crowded or overwhelming..Version: 1.1.73
Random purchases w/ charge (yet….)Fun game but hi I wanna contact you guys, it keeps randomly charging me for this purchases but here’s the thing, my moms card isn’t connected to my phone anymore because it kept happening so it’s disconnected. I’ll get on the app and it’ll say “purchase was complete” when I haven’t been on it or it will randomly charge, I’m not too sure why it does this but nothing is on my mom’s card. I don’t know why this is happening I’ve made a few purchases before on this app but then one day it did that and added up to about 20 bucks on my mom’s card so I cancelled it and disconnected my moms card. I don’t know why this is happening but I don’t want it to all add up one day, my family struggles with money sometimes and I’m only 15 so I can’t pay this off if it adds up to say hundreds..Version: 1.14.0
Addicting Game, Too Bad They Changed Ways to Earn EnergyI really enjoy this game. Super addicting way to power down my brain. For awhile there, I was playing quite a bit as they had added ways to collect extra energy by watching videos. I usually hate ads, but if I know I can earn gifts like energy on their Road to Treasure or an extra treasure chest in the shop, I don’t mind. It’s worth it. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on games, so the recent change to Road to Treasure making it pay only is unfortunate. I simply just won’t be playing as often because I can’t buy energy daily. I live paycheck to paycheck as it is. This game is my escape, but not worth spending money I don’t have. Ironically, the change came after I splurged and bought a bit of energy. Now nothing is free with ads. Not sure if that’s a coincidence or if they think if you spend once, you’ll spend daily??.Version: 1.33.0
Fun But FlawedI’ve been really enjoying this game however there is one thing that affects my enjoyment of the game and that would be the energy feature. I think it’s really annoying and it creates somewhat of a limit of how long I can play before running out of energy and not being able to tap the generators in order to get items to merge. I honestly don’t understand why features like this are in games other than the purpose of encouraging people to watch long ads and paying to get more energy quicker in order to make money. I think it would help tremendously if the game had some sort of boost that you can earn that makes the energy infinite for like 30 minutes or just remove the energy feature entirely (which I highly doubt is something you would do…) Either way, putting the energy limit problem aside, I really enjoy this game..Version: 1.0.86
Another Gotcha! GameGame showed up as an ad in another game. Seemed straight forward matching but with some flexibility where matches come from. Le Sigh. Not the case. You use a generator to make foods to match to fulfill ‘ orders’ on a limited space board. The game guide finger thing forces you to make moves at first and then reappears if you get stumped. Level by completing orders. Lots of freebie stuff to earn including energy bolts (wbtw can be merged to make super bolts which means bulk energy). Energy bolts are needed to use the food generators. Energy bolts accrue about every 2 min. There is a little side block (expandable) to store items if board is full. Almost ething can be merged to make other things or better foods n such. Could be fun but really more maddening since expectations was a matching game not a matching game to make orders. Despite earning energy bolts or accruing them, they are often wasted and go fast. And the food generators until merged only have like 4-5hits to generate. The seafood is the worse bc by time you hit that level you wind up with limited space bc there’s squares with construction bits n bobs (to make food prep stations or plates, or food generators), grills-counters-blenders (‘cooking’), fruit plates n baskets-meat baskets-produce baskets-boats (‘food making’). Basically it’s set up to get ya to spend $$ Game hack: save your purple gems and expand your storage space—figured that out too late! Also use cooking stations to store ‘recipe’ items for extra board space..Version: 1.1.81
Amazing Game, With a Few FlawsThis game is very fun! It’s nothing like the other merge games I have played! I’ve looked for so many merge games that I can enjoy, and I found it with this one! But, it can’t e perfect. There are a few flaws and suggestions. One of the things that I find is, when I make a food (it’s always the meat) that it won’t let me submit it. Once I merge, and then cook it, it says it’s still not completed. I have checked everything, making sure it is the right meat. That’s one bug, that if fixed, would make the game a better experience. Now, all the other stuff is little, things that might just be because I have an old phone. But even if it isn’t, I can live with it! Overall, this is the perfect dream! Other merge games don’t compare! Also, I love how your not timed, because some rounds take longer than others when it’s a complicated mix. Amazing game!.Version: 1.0.91
I absolutely adore this gameI cannot say enough how fun this game is, there are literally no ads unless u prompt for one and there are plenty of opportunities to get coins and gems which I feel like you don’t get enough in some games. There are so many activities to win prizes and coins and cash and they’re all super fun, like the little mini games apart from the main merge game (which is also really entertaining). Sometimes the generators dying just when ur about to made an order can get so frustrating but that’s part of the game and part of why i love it so much. It really keeps you hooked and wanting to know what’s next, what the next order gonna be, what is the next event stuff like that. I never usually leave reviews on games but this one has me hooked on an astronomical level and i really do enjoy it a lot..Version: 1.1.57
Best in the store with a few flawsOf course nothings perfect but this game is close to it for merge games. theres a fair amount of chance to earn energy back, as well as lots of opportunities to watch adds to get small extra rewards like energy, items, or to speed up cooking. each add is worth a watch cause they have some pretty good rewards + everything is ad free if you dont want to watch the adds. now I will say ive had some glitching with ads before where I wont get a reward. I found that closing and reopening the app is the best option, it also wont really effect the timer of the reward which is nice. sometimes I find that the board is a bit small, but its easy to compensate for by keeping items within the cooking equipment. thank you for making such a good game that has kept me occupied for months!.Version: 1.0.74
Amazing gameThis game is absolutely amazing. I’m in level 68, almost 69, and I have enjoyed it for quite a long time now. The 2 things I would change is the fact that there aren’t always videos available, and I would add more place to store my ingredients. For example, I would make more pages (like the one on the bottom left corner) to store things. That way we could have a page for things that are processing, a page for things that give you ingredients, and a page for ingredients themselves. I would also make them cheap (like 5 diamonds). If there was an unlimited amount of videos I would be playing all day long. The graphics and elements of this game are very well done and I hope they add more levels! :).Version: 1.1.00

Fun game but needs improvementIt’s a fun game, I’m currently at level 119 , at my level, the energy need to cook for 1 ingredient is insane , sometime u need to spent few days to complete one dish. I hv max level of almost all generator , but the reward keeps giving me fundamental level of those already max out generators, can u please give out rewards according to the level of player ? It’s discouraging for me to play on..Version: 1.42.0
Fun merging gameI like the different ways they keep it interesting and unlike other merge games I’ve played ie: putting fruits into the blender to make other items. Haven’t been playing that long but so far so good!.Version: 1.41.0
