Medley is a music player that looks like the pre-iOS 6 Music app.
Medley is not a pixel-perfect re-creation of the Music app. For example, it uses San Francisco instead of Helvetica, and almost all the icons are SF Symbols. You can play music from Apple Music if you’ve already added them to your music library. But Medley doesn’t support browsing the Apple Music catalog or adding songs from Apple Music into your library.

Really great nostalgic app.It really feels like 2009 again with this app! No ads and no subscriptions (which is really refreshing nowadays). Automatically imports songs from the Apple Music Library, no effort at all. This is an amazing app that works flawlessly. I’ve used Vinegar and Baking Soda every day since buying them a couple months ago and was curious as to what other apps this developer has created and stumbled upon this. I am not one but disappointed. I promise you that this app is amazing. It really does feel like you’re using the old Apple Music app. I never had an iPhone when I was younger but I had an iPod Touch 4 and this really brings be back. Nostalgic and beautiful. Thank you everyone that was involved in creating this masterpiece. I recommend Medley to everyone who grew up in the mid to late 2000s and everyone else that wants to experience the golden age of iOS..Version: 1.0.0
The App Store At Its FinestWhen it comes to the App Store, there are a lot of apps with creepy data trackers, ads, micro transactions along with many stuff that makes a lot of modern app (for me at least) unlikeable. So when it comes to developers like the one behind this app, it feels like the golden age of the App Store all over again, nothing gross,creepy about it. It’s cheap and well worth the money if you ask me. Medley Music Player is the best 3rd party music app on the Apple App Store if you ask me, taking from the old Apple Music layout of the iOS 5 era, Medley is must have app for any Apple Music user if you ask me. I would personally love to see a version made for iPadOS and other operating systems but it seems like that may not happen at the moment. Regardless every penny of the price is well spent, I’d buy it again. Pleas support creators like this in high quality apps that are actually useful and improve our casual life’s. 99% perfect, just needs dark modeI forgot just how great iOS used to be, with visual separation and easy to tap large button UIs It’s nice not to have to tap through 3+ windows to get to my own music that I have downloaded to my phone, especially as someone who builds playlists often My eyes are sensitive to bright light so my only wish is for a dark theme, even just inverted nothing fancy. It needs playlist foldersLet me start by saying this: I love this app. I love how authentic it feels and works. The developer did a great job with that. The only issue I have with it, and the only reason I’m not giving a 5-star review yet, is that it doesn’t currently support playlist folders. My music library is heavily reliant on folders for organization. Whats currently happening is all the playlists are just there in alphabetical order. I’m not a developer and I don’t know how hard it would be to implement this, if it’s even possible. But if this gets added, this app would be flawless and probably become my default music app. I strongly hope you add this, developer! Thank you!.Version: 1.0.2
Almost perfect.I do miss live lyrics and regular lyrics, I believe this is a necessary addition. I also find it uncomfortable that there is a delay when pressing buttons: action is instant I believe, but the buttons itself (like the back buttons) only show their style after being pressed for a moment, so you don’t really get that “pressed button effect” per say. Awesome app other than the lack of lyrics. It’s very annoying to have “Due to copyright reasons Lyrics are not available” and “You can manually enter the lyrics in the Music app on the Mac” when I know for sure which songs have lyrics in the Music app..Version: 1.0.2
We need more apps like this!I always wondered why i stopped using my music app, and I figured out recently its because its not as special anymore as it was in the old versions of iOS. I found this app, and had to buy it - and its just like I remember it (despite some of the necessary changes). Its crazy how applications have gotten so dense with options that you don’t even enjoy using it anymore. The old iOS style was so good too - though it may be just nostalgia - I always found it attractive haha. Anyways, fantastic app, only thing I noticed that should be fixed is portrait mode going black instead of displaying albums or music selection - I always loved turning my phone sideways and seeing all the albums! Nevertheless, we need more apps like this even if they aren’t in the same style, just less overwhelming features that take away from the key feature of an app!.Version: 1.0.2
Issues with backing out of main menuFirst and foremost, I think that this app is awesome and really is fun to use, but there is an issue that I’ve had ever since I downloaded it and it has to do with the main menu. When I back out of a submenu, like from an album to the main menu, there is an about a second window where I can’t scroll and move anything and the album I backed out of stays highlighted. But other than that this app is great and enjoyable to use!.Version: 1.0.2

Almost PerfectMy main issues are that you can’t give songs start ratings, (it’s a great way to sort your library) and I wish you could customize the tabs at the bottom. Other than that it’s a very clean and simple music player for a fine price..Version: 1.0.2

Doesn’t play some of my music?It works and looks great but it refuses to play some a specific album idk why. i think it’s because most of the tracks are a different format than the first one?? or something??? they play fine on any other music player i’ve used. it plays the first track and then quickly skips through all the rest ☹️.Version: 1.0.2
