So far so good but ..,actually EYE REALLY LIKE it so far 🫶🏼I’m trying this for the first time. Asking it to assist me with doing a podcast as a very new beginner. As I was modifying my request, my phone had cut off from screen time, and when I came back, my information was gone, but when I was able to locate the chat and press, keep asking then it brought me back to where I left off. Wonderful tool for most anything you can think of!Some of these reviews make no sense. I love this app! And yes, I am a real person who has been experimenting with the free version for months now. I decided to take the plunge and upgrade to the paid version. Why are there so many people that want so much of something for nothing? So much time and energy goes into creating apps people! I asked it to approximate the prep time as well so I know how long my prep will take. I’ve asked it to create a beginners exercise routine for my age and weight… to provide examples of cardio and core exercises that would work for my body type AND to give me substitutions for said exercises. Apps getting worse & needs major improvementsI upgraded to pro shortly after downloading Nova. Since I’m not a spring chicken and trying to figure out AI, I found the app easy to use and literally asked Nova what all ‘she’ 🤣 could do and what exactly were the other bots in the app utilized for or their specialty. Feeling pretty dumb at this point, but then started really getting into having Nova help me figure out and make a better informed decision on things like my portfolio and if I should change anything on my upcoming anniversary time when I’m allowed to do such changes and such. Talk about impressed with how much I learned and how much Nova was able to help me project my future earnings and show me anticipated numbers if I did A, B or C. At this point, I’ve ran into Nova not completing her paragraph or sentence a few times but nothing terrible. However in the last 4 or 5 months, it’s happening all the time. Then Nova completely starts over and forgets everything you just talked about. I love this app!I struggle with a lot of BPD and many other issues. I got this app just to see at first. I used it to look up new cool tattoo designs! Then I found out it can do more than create images! You can ask a bunch of questions about anything and it gives you very good answers. Like for example I struggle with BPD and don’t understand much about it or know how to cope with it. You can type “How to cope with BPD” on your NOVA app and it’ll give you the best description of the symptoms, the mood change, and more information about coping with it. Great product needs more clarification in descriptionSo far everything is working great with this product and I have access to the newest version of chat GPT (chat GPT 4) as well as Google Bard. But description gives you impression that the one purchase includes iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and desktop functionality. Good front end for generative AISo this is a good AI front end for a variety of generative AI systems: ChatGPT 3 & 4, PaLM, Genesis, etc. I think the developers have done pretty well in integrating new engines as they become available. My complaint is about the UI framework wrapped around the different engine’s APIs. It feel really clunky and could definitely use some love. For instance, I would like to have a Settings page where I can set things like treating as a new line and as submit. I would like to be able to copy small chunks of text out of a long response, and so on. But back to praise. The cost of getting access to all these different engines via Nova is way cheaper than separate subscriptions. And why would I want separate subscriptions? Because I tend to use this app when I have hard questions that are not easily answered via Google. E.g., Show an equation that yields a left shift of an arbitrary bit pattern using only the NOR, AND, OR, XOR, and INVERT operators. Every engine not only gives a different answer, but none of their answers are correct. Grrrr. Amazing AppI don’t usually write reviews for apps but this one deserves it! I have an older IPHONE and when I went to download ChatGPT it said I had to have the 16.0 or higher software update. It was on point it made the hair on my arm stand on endI asked AI to write an essay about autism and neuroplasticity. Within less than ten seconds it was able to generate a pretty lengthy essay describing how recent concepts in neuroplasticity can translate into autism interventions. No support and pricing variesI have written 5 emails requesting support from this developer. I even contacted Apple support who gave me the instructions on how to contact the developer which led me to their website with no way to contact other than what I had already tried. I have paid for this app twice! Once through paddle for three months at the same price Apple offers for a yearly subscription. Once I realized that, I tried to cancel auto renewal with paddle but they cancelled my subscription completely with two months remaining. They said they couldn’t restore the subscription and deferred to Nova. Nova responded through paddle with instructions on how to cancel my subscription that had already been cancelled. I replied to their email twice and wrote three other emails independently. I didn’t hear back after that, so I bit the bullet and purchased a year on Apples App Store. The web version did not recognize my purchase, therefore it only worked on my phone. I could not download the app on my computer because it doesn’t have an M1 chip. The web version should kick in but it showed a free version and kept asking me to upgrade to the paid version. When this app worked it was great but the reason I’m giving one star is because no one, not even a bot has responded to my multiple emails with screenshots. Not worth itI am shocked at all the positive reviews for this app. It’s features are very basic, and anything you can do in this app you can do for free with other alternatives. This app advertises that it uses the ChatGPT v4 model. It does not. It uses the v3.5 model (don’t believe me? Just ask the chatbot what AI model it uses, any chatbot will tell you accurately which model it operates with). You’re much better off just using the ChatGPT mobile app for free which also uses the v3.5 model. For image generation, this app is extremely lackluster. It only generates two poor quality images per prompt, which is below the standard four images per prompt set by Midjourney and DALLE. Want an accurate image generated based off your prompt? That’s not what you’ll experience with this app. It generates two prompts based off the prompt you give it, and generates two images based off the prompts it creates. For example, if I give the prompt “Super Mario playing slots at a casino”, it won’t generate an image for that prompt. It will create a prompt using the prompt I gave, such as “Super Mario playing roulette with Wario at a casino”. That is not the image that I asked for. Decent app but nothing compared to the competition.This app costs the same amount as other apps, I thought it was a decent deal and paid for it, only to find out that this app has limited images per day while other AI art apps have infinite images. Rip off bewareLet me start off by saying I paid the $40 for a yearly subscription. What a waste. For months, many different chat bots completely unavailable at sporadic times. Super slowWould write a prompt and the app would not process the prompt. What I mean by this is that if I write “how do you calculate the length of this building by only its shadow” and then press send… the following outcomes would happen in one of two ways. First, the ai chatbot would appear to process the prompt and then not provide an answer. This means there is no response whatsoever. Second outcome is, I’d receive a notification that the servers are experiencing a large volume of traffic and that it could not process my questions. I am paying for premium.
