New upgrades NOT DesiredI do not like the new inset for the descriptions! I go to the Description tab to read details on the item I am looking at. I wan and need the full page to be able to read the text and see larger photos, when included. NOW I have this small inset window that is hard to read and any additional photos are too small to get a proper idea of what I am looking at. Please either go back to the full screen format, or give us an option to switch to the full screen version. I noticed a r 2 year old review that was a seller complaining about their reviews and the lack of responsiveness after a poor review where someone purchased an item, and they then cancelled the sale. As a consumer I have recently experienced this issue,where the seller cancelled my purchase of two items without my consent! I paid for my products, so they are now MY possessions! If a seller feels that there is a problem with the product, then they are required to contact the rightful owner to discuss what THEY want to do. Cancelling the sale MAY be the best option, but it is not the SELLER that gets to make that decision. It belongs to the buyer (now owner) ALONE. This is a policy that needs to change immediately! Also, because he cancelled the sale (without my permission) I was unable to leave a review. I contacted eBay several times to get this resolved, but the best I got was a nonfunctional button, so I was never able to express my concerns. What’s so great about eBay and the eBay appLike many who were hooked on eBay for more than a decade, I too, stopped using them altogether in 2009 after it was obvious that the 2008 changes were not going away. Since then, I come back to eBay when I’m looking for hard to find items you can’t buy off the shelf/rare treasures. At first I felt like the exodus of auction style listings in favor of buy it now listings was a huge killjoy. Especially because at first sellers began asking absurd prices. Sales were sluggish at best which further decreased the plethora of items rare and common to meh. But in recent years, the natural adjustment of the market has caused a bit of a renaissance period for eBay. While the listings are still predominantly BIN, the prices are more realistic and most sellers have added a bit of fun back into it by including “make an offer,” on their BIN listings. The eBay app is super convenient that I can fully keep track of what I’m watching, bidding on, what offers I’ve made and any counter offers, my winnings/purchases, messages, everything, is all right there in the palm of my hand. I will say the app is not that great from a seller’s perspective because some of the most important features, while creating a listing, and even just keeping track of sales (like the seller’s details page and the sold item and buyer info pages are not available through the app. This is a really big deal to sellers and honestly, it needs to be added to the app so sellers can offer as many or as few options to potential buyers as they like..Version: 6.51.2

Consistently inconsistentThere was a time not long ago that Ebaying was not only a way to find new, interesting, and never seen before items, but also often a way to get great bargains on what I’ve understood to be overstock, clearance, or other “seller motivated” situations. I’d been Ebuying long enough that I’ve learned the value of collaborating peacefully to work through transaction hiccups and felt valued, appreciated, and would hear reference to being a “concierge member”. I’d never heard the term before, and for what it’s worth, didn’t really care except as everyone knows, it’s nice to be valued and appreciated. And although I don’t even know what it otherwise meant, I can definitely say that I’m aware that something has changed. It seems that “the pendulum has swung the other way” and I can tell that deference is (more perhaps?) to sellers’ cares and concern. All these things being present in small and subtle ways, it’s not any one or “big” thing that I can I’d, but an example is how I can no longer leave feedback when sellers unilaterally back out of and/or cancel transactions. I constantly get the messages to “leave feedback for my purchases”, but I feel like the point is lost if my transactions are pre screened for me to rate only certain ones. Idk, maybe I’m perceiving it as something bigger than it is, but for sure I don’t hear reference to “concierge member” anymore and the whole EBay experience has lost its luster unfortunately. It’s just not the same…….ATM and one can just hope that the pendulum swings soon..Version: 6.122.0

Beware sellers eBay allows fraudulent claimsI recently had a buyer make me an offer. I excepted the offer an hour late. The buyer sent me a message saying she needed to cancel the order because her address was wrong. I told her to contact Ebay Ebay, then within a four hour time. Open the claim against me the seller that the item had not been received, the item ship date was not for five days. When I called Ebay and spoke with the team member and then spoke with a supervisor. They informed me that if I did not do anything about this case, they would put a ding against my account and remove the funds from me to buyer. I explain to them that this was a fraudulent case and should not have been opened that. If they looked at my keys, they could see the buyer sent me an offer. I excepted the offer she wrote me told me the address was wrong and there’s no possible way that I could have delivered this item to her in a four hour time period. They told me it didn’t matter that they opened the case for the buyer and it was wrong that they open the case that I needed to refund her her money. If I send the item out I will not be protected by Ebay’s protection program. This is not the first time that a buyer opened a fake case and eBay allowed it. Sellers beware of eBay they’re not on your side. Also I should let you know I have been a seller for 24 years and it might be time to hang up my hat..Version: 6.128.0

Ebay pushes counterfeits over originals and fixated on lower price only. IYou would think Ebay is acting like a concierge in the interest of the buyer. What type of concierge offers their customers counterfeits and the copies over the original first ? There’s definitely a conflict of interest on eBay ever since they initiated this promoted listing feature, which is directly competing with all authentic products ,Especially when the corrupt data ends up on their corrupt programs such as Terapeak and street pricer that blindley suggests what you should be selling your authentic product for when comparing thrm to all the copy junk and counterfeits data they have allowed to end up on those program as authentic’s !It’s also corrupts the promoted listing program because now the seller has to compete with artificial prices created by this tainted price information to be included into main stream pricing. When I search for an item on eBay I would like to see all the authentic‘s from top rated sellers first in top search resultsI’ and not buried on page 10 or 15 like you currently have it regardless of price. And all the junk and counterfeits on the bottom of search results as an alternate purchase option buyers can use to filter out .Just like they do in a department store in the back on the clearance table., or in the Alley district of LA . unless Im A frugal buyer who intentionally choose Open box, refurbished, or salvaged junk over authentic‘s , regardless of how much the seller is paying to promote that counterfeit or Fraudulent listing!.Version: 6.8.1

Oldie but a goodieI have been buying selling on eBay for a long time. eBay was the first site of its kind and honestly to this day, in my honest opinion it’s the best. I sell luxury items on many platforms- none of which can match eBay’s customer service. I love that you can call customer service and get an actual person. Most companies now do not have a customer support line- just email and chat options. Both of which are good for small issues, but when you have a concern and need reassurance and support- you need more than a generated email saying “ a representative will assist you within the next 5-7 business days. I absolutely love that eBay now has the authentication process. I know that comes at an extra cost but it is well worth it in my opinion for all parties. Buyers feel confident in their purchases, sellers are held accountable and the merchant upholds their reputation. I love that as a seller, you can select the shipping service of your choice. On the newer platforms it it preselected for you. As a seller and a buyer of these luxury goods, I have run into issues with other platforms I will not name, most of which I am successful with in sales. It just does not match eBay’s customer service at all. It’s like pulling teeth to get any correspondence whatsoever. At this point, I will probably use eBay more frequently from here on because of this excellent service. The only feature I wish eBay did have is the estimated calculation of profit from a sale. Listing templates on mobile?I’ve been buying and selling on eBay a long time and love it, there’s one feature I wish they had for sellers though that I’m surprised they don’t - currently you can’t use a listing template for a new item on mobile, only desktop. I use templates for nearly everything to save a ton of time because my items are in the same category, same weight, same condition, and the base description is there. Currently I have to create a new listing from the template on desktop, save it as a draft, and then open the draft on my phone to upload the photos from my phone and finish the listing. I will say, switching between desktop and mobile when making a listing is pretty seamless, but if I could just list from a template on my phone I wouldn’t have to. Fingers crossed they implement this one day. Also as a buyer I hope for better keyword filtering options for saved searches, I get a lot of stuff I don’t want in my feed because of limited options..my searches end up being long strings of negative keywording that hits the character limit. Small personal nitpicks though on a stellar app that I love and use daily…I enjoy most of the new features and updates..especially the new saved search layout option that populates new listing photos from all your saved searches on multiple scrollable rows, it makes quickly browsing new listings so much faster. Hope Ebay can’t remove thisI bought a defective item on eBay and followed advice on eBay of contacting seller before writing feedback. I contacted him multiple times with no resolution. Not knowing that there was a limited 30 day window to initiate action with eBay, I allowed him to string me along with promises, realizing now, and even having an eBay Rep confirm, that the seller probably knew my time to appeal was swiftly running out. I wrote negative feedback but somehow my whole transaction and my feedback disappeared from the seller’s feedback history. Yesterday the same eBay rep told me that they reserve the right to erase feedback if the seller asks. Who knows if this unconscionable seller has done this in the past to mai taint his rating? The representative looked at my feedback that he saw on his system and confirmed it was very polite though negative and that he would not have removed it. I asked him if there was any way I could re-enter to warn future buyers and he said that once eBay removes, any revisions are impossible. I asked him why it is not a requirement for eBay representative to put a reason for removing and he would not budge past “it’s optional.” Interacting with this rep was as unsatisfying as my recent eBay experiences. He almost shouted over me and did not listen, just spouting the company line in a way that seemed to say, “we’re huge, we don’t need you or need to listen to you.” I’m sure they won’t miss little me...hopefully some newer more responsive sites will slowly dismantle this behemoth!.Version: 5.36.0

App issues still there. Still hiding overpriced shipping chargesLove eBay. Love the app but there is an exception. When I open the app and go to my “saved” section to check out the latest and greatest almost every other line of thumbnails is not showing. If I scroll left or right then they finally appear. Other instances I’ll click on a thumbnail and it takes me to another item. I have to go back scroll the line back and forth then it works again. This has been going on for the last 3 or 4 updates. I take it eBay isn’t aware of this? Can’t be the only one experiencing this issues. On this last update it worked normally on the first try but now back to the usual. My wifi is fine so it can’t be that. The moment I scroll the saved section line the thumbnail’s immediately appear. Please look into this eBay. Other than that love eBay. Only exception are the sellers that take advantage of people with extremely high shipping costs. And don’t tell me you’re covering costs. The costs of supplies and such are on the seller not the buyer for the most part. It’s sickening to see. I’d like to see eBay require seller items to show weight and size of the packages so we can see the extra profits sellers are making off shipping. That way buyers can avoid these sellers and not pay “hidden” fees. I buy and sell and know what certain shipping costs are. I know rates have increased but it doesn’t cost $50 to ship a clock radio for example. Let the buyers see the greedy sellers ways and allow us to maybe check a box that says “do not show items from this seller”. Weed em out. Ebay doesn't protect sellersAfter many years on eBay, I'm very frustrated with their seller protection policies. eBay is great if you're a buyer, but gets worse and worse for sellers. eBay has become full of scammers who bid and don't pay and there seems to really be no consequences for them, AND you can't give the non-payers negative feedback. It's absurd. In the last week, 80% of my winning bidders did not pay and I have to go more than a week to get my eBay fees back and relist the items. What happens to these non-payers? They get a strike against them. It's a minor slap on the wrist. When you bid on a listing it specifically says if you win you are in a contract to pay for the item. This would never happen at a real auction house. Also, buyers hardly ever leave feedback. I would say less than 50% of my buyers leave feedback which doesn't really help a seller. eBay really needs to take a long, hard look at their policies and how they treat their sellers. Without sellers there would be no eBay. As far as the app is concerned, I only use it to purchase items, leave feedback, monitor my listings and monitor what I am watching. I NEVER use the app to sell (only if I am going to relist an item). It's also very frustrating that I can't send an invoice via the app when a buyer purchases/wins multiple items. I'm so frustrated that I have been looking for other ways to sell stuff. I am not a business, just an individual getting rid of stuff I no longer need or want. eBay has become full of Scammers..Version: 5.16.1

Be carefulJust like any other selling app, be careful and make sure whoever you’re buying from is reliable. I brought a playboy bunny purse for my 18th birthday for 29 dollars from some guy who claimed he found the bag from an evicted apartment. He told me the bag was in perfect condition and shown me close up photos , I thought the price sounded too good to be true since people sell any type of Y2K items usually price it for stupid prices, but the seller claimed since he was a male there was no need for him to keep a purse. Anyway, fast forward to the item coming in the mail, I get the most BUSTED up purse I’ve ever laid my eyes on, the straps were so bent and basically on the verge of ripping in half, there was blue paint all over it, stitches coming out the schemes— basically I received a beaten up item. Anyway, I quickly requested for a return and refund and the seller claimed they didn’t take returns and suddenly went on ‘Vacation’ and couldn’t be contacted, and after a few days eBay would close the ticket. After two days I decided to open a ticket up with PayPal and I thankfully got my cash back and still wanted to return the item, but the seller just basically ghosted.. nothing, but after awhile went back to selling like nothing happened🫩. In the end I got my money back but now I have an unusable busted up purse in my storage. Please use something like PayPal because I don’t know what would have happened if I would have waited for eBay to escalate it instead of PayPal..Version: 6.241.0

Oh Ebay…Ya know everybody knows of EBAY. It’s a great platform mainly because of its widespread number of customers and sellers that use this platform. Well for me who is someone who spent the last 12 years on a roof to make a living and wanting to make a change and try something different, ebay crushed my hopes. I have a large collection of Pokémon cards and planned to sell my cards on there and I had my account suspenders permanently in the process of trying to figure out how things work and learning you can’t get into arguments with people on there. Anyways it let me make another account and I had only been buying things but eventually attempted to sell again and it let me sell about 7 things before shutting my account down again. I guess cuz they realized it was me. But yea I’ll give them A “ONLY ONE STAR” because of there name and amount of people. Other than that the platform is trash and they are greedy with there rates. Customer service said they didn’t have to tell me anything or any reason for suspending me and that there’s nothing I can do to fix it. Notta nothin just pushed me to the ground and kicked me in the face when I reached out for help up. I’m one of the kindest, fairest and decent people on this planet and have 2 kids and a third that’s bout to be here that I can’t just give up on like these people have done me. Im looking into starting a new platform or interested if someone else is cuz there should not only be one online auction site like FBAY. Thanks everyone. EBay does not have consistent policiesI’ve been buying and selling on eBay for years, almost a decade now. I’ve had problems as a buyer and eBay unfairly sided against me. I’ve had problems as a seller when eBay has unfairly sided against me. This includes a particularly frustrating experience when I sold a very expensive bottle of cologne by Jo Malone. The buyer received the cologne and waited 2 weeks to claim that the fragrance was fake. I accepted the return despite the cologne being authentic. When he returned the bottle he sent it in a plain plastic bag with no padding. The bottle broke during delivery and spilled ALL of the cologne into the bag where it leaked. When I made a claim with the post office they denied the claim stating that the item was not properly packed. I turned to eBay and was told by the customer service operator that “it’s the cost of doing business” and would not support me. I was out the $110 I paid for the bottle and was unable to leave feedback against the buyer. On the other side, I purchased an item on eBay that arrived to me damaged. When I contacted the seller they claimed the item was used but not damaged. When I requested a return they refused. I contacted eBay who sided with the seller and stated that because the item was used they do not have to accept the return. Either way, eBay is not consistent with their policies and it has become a free for all with both buying and selling items being a risk. If their was another platform that offered hard to find items I would take my business there. Unfortunately, I am stuck with eBay..Version: 5.41.0

EBay reviewEBay has a lot of variety, whatever you’re looking for you will find it here that’s the awesome part. Here’s the not so awesome part, shipping!!!! Shipping on eBay is almost criminal, allowing sellers to make way more extra profit than what the item is actually worth, I’ve seen sellers list an item that’s $15 but shipping is $50!!??? I mean come on?? Another part I don’t like is the handling time of a lot of sellers, they want top notch shipping payment but give you the customer economy shipping, it takes anywhere from 10 to 18 days to receive my item from a seller no matter where they live in the states which leads me to believe that they ship out whenever they’re good and ready but have the audacity to collect the most expensive shipping charge there is and no!! They don’t mention they only ship on certain days. If you the seller choose high shipping costs you need to send that item out next day not on Saturdays. I’m just getting to the point to where eBay should just force free shipping I mean we buyers pay for it all anyway, the shipping is just ridiculous and I’ve sold on eBay myself I know all about the fees and they don’t hurt the sellers pocket all that much which a lot of sellers like to complain about. I just hope this system that’s been I place for years now gets a little update and sellers should be held more accountable according to their shipping method, if you charge 40% of your item you’re selling you better ship the next day or offer free shipping not whenever you have the time for it. There are times it’s taken almost a month for me to get a package from Kansas, I live in the northeast not across the planet.Version: 6.134.1

Simple but not that QuickGreat app user friendly, but the barcode scanner has yet to produce any identified products for me and the catalog hasn't either. It would be an absolute deal maker if the image search actually returned the item with profiled details! The barcode scanner always comes back no item found! Google image search will find the item and details but it’s a hassle to go back and forth copying pasting saving transferring etc to the listing! There are other selling platforms that are making it so simple to sell and aren’t charging as much! I love the audience ebay has ability to reach however if you’re a small seller like me your listing is so far down the list most buyers get bored of looking before ever seeing my listing so that’s unfortunate! Gotta take the bad with the good I guess! Please don’t keep going up on seller fees and final value fees and plus PayPal takes their cut and now taxes too it’s getting to where it’s not as profitable unless you’re a giant seller with thousands of listings!! But I still love ebay for both buying and selling! The images take forever it seems to upload. Other than that, it's always improving and is much less hassle than it use to be. Fix the image uploader/scanner/& catalog issues and it's 5star golden. Oh, and the templates that are available on my iMac, to insert in every description, are a heavenly feature not offered on the iPad app, seems that the listing is much simpler on my phone it doesn’t require all the daunting entries that the computer version has I always list on my phone because the form is too long on the desktop computer option that point is critical when time is money. Problems inside the app....I don’t like the new format. While building ads, I should be able to turn features off and never be asked those questions again, like allowing the seller to give me a half price offer, shipping the item for free, or if I want consider reducing the price over time. Though those options might be consider by some, they absolutely don’t work for me and it adds extra time and worry to building an eBay ad. I would like to see, easier access for creating sales, easier distribution of my sale flier (past, non- following buyers), and more apparent of the actual things I purchase. They need to remove “sell” and “selling” terms on the front page, as it makes it more confusing to navigate. Finally, though buyer protection is nice, there needs to be a better follow through investigation on return items. Many times the buyers circumvent my “no return” clause, with made up conditions just to make me look like a bad seller. Often times, the past buyer’s have confessed that they did not read my description; only the title. This gives me an unfair advantage to me because they didn’t do due diligence before that bought the item. I am always willing to further express my on going concerns. I have been a seller for a few years and have experienced several changes. I need some cooperation from EBay in order for me to continue as the luster of being a seller is starting to fade fast. Fun place to shop “ EBayI have been with EBay for several years now ! I have enjoyed it the whole time ! I shop on here because I can find what I want and not have to get out on the road to go find it ! Not only do you have the convenience from shopping at home but a good chance it’s going to be cheaper ! Your not burning gas and your safer shopping from your own home ! I don’t have to walk down aisle after aisle either ! I just use my fingertip ! I just found an item here on EBay that I could not find anywhere ! I’ve made a few calls and was given different phone numbers and not one helped ! I got on EBay and found it ! Yea ... I was real surprised ! I admit I did contact them several times to see if it was the real pieces I needed ! They even sent measurements of the part and everything was exactly the same size ! I just purchased it and just so happens that this review popped up ! I had to do it because this last purchase was one that I thought would not happen after all the calling I have done and a lot of internet research ! I thought all that time looking for these parts that I was not going to have any luck ! I got on EBay and found it in about 5 minutes ! My EBAY app.:I have to agree with the first guy, on this: When there are multiple items all listed in a row, you need a “helping hand .” Being able to slide one seller, or multiple sellers with the same product, off to one side,(left) would make choosing a great seller much easier. The “not so good sellers”, would be out of the picture, making your selection much easier to decide. This is the 2nd time I’ve used EBAY. Both times I have ordered what I came for.👌At an excellent price, I may add! I live in a canyon, surrounded by mountains 360°. The antenna I purchased is the ONLY ONE that works in here! W/out it, you’re lucky to get 1 rolling, snowy, Spanish station! With it: All stations from 2->13, + 22,24,28, 30, 31, 32, and many more. All crystal clear! All my neighbors paid $39-> $59 for the same “boosted” antenna. I’m so glad that EBAY had this, & at such a reasonable cost! People with boo-coop bucks get more channels, but I don’t have the room for anyone to even sit in my RV. My wife & I had AT&T for a year, but found we never watched anything but our local stations. We dumped them in a bottomless pit! What a savings! We never looked back. Thank you Government Regulators. No thank you for the expensive, & corrupt TV Services. My wife died in September, last year, she’s clapping for me as I wait for my digital antenna to arrive. I’m putting it in a 400 year old, Walnut tree. “Classy TV”, will be it’s name. Great for buyers but forget selling because eBay doesn’t care about you or honor its own termsI have been on eBay for 20 years. I had a perfect 100% feedback score (note had). I was aware that eBay buyer scams are rampant and eBay simply refuses to do anything about them. You always need to be on guard when selling anything. So, with some apprehension, I tried to sell a Kindle on it. I specifically only allowed U.S. buyers by only offering shipping within the U.S. (and I declined eBay’s own “International shipping” program) and for anyone with no feedback to contact me before bidding otherwise I would cancel their bid. Lo and behold, the auction ended with a zero feedback buyer from a South American country. I messaged them and declined. They proceeded to say that I only needed to ship to a particular place in Miami and they would get the shipment from there. This is in complete violation of my own auction terms and outside the scope of eBay’s own international shipping program which I clearly told them. These international scams are well documented in the eBay forums so I was just protecting myself. Guess what? I now have negative feedback for something that I prohibited in my auction and eBay should have not allowed. eBay is completely non-responsive and will just give you a request run-around where you basically can’t do anything about it. Great App Awesome Customer ServiceI’ve been eBay customer since 2010. Always purchased online soon as I knew their was an app it was game over. I purchased a lot of stuff on eBay. I like the idea of support smaller business owners or sellers instead of given my money to bigger and larger corporations. I’ve had a couple minor issues no fault of eBay’s only with a couple sellers slow that never processed my order with immediate payment. Surprised me figured sellers would love to get immediate payment for the item they sell. The other issue the seller posted an item for sale then canceled the order. eBay wanted me to contact the seller... Umma no I simply wrote them it was your sellers decision to cancel my order so either they refund my money their system processed or ask the seller to send my item. eBay refunded my money. Out of 10 years has been nothing but great experience purchasing items and I’ve had to contact customer service a few times and they’ve been nothing but great just to bad eBay’s policies aren’t that great when it comes to the consumer. Without people like us as the consumers there is no eBay! This simply eBay hasn’t figured out yet. They back up their sellers but takes a day and miracle to get them to resolve any issue if there’s a problem with an item. I’ll continue using eBay regardless of the minor issue I think it’s a great way to bring back the smaller business owners again like in the 80’s-90’s before larger corporations destroyed the consumer business owner relations... My review didn’t go through? Yeah, no.Update : they fixed it finally. The interface and “tree” of categories in the numerous settings pages are an absolute cluster of a mess. What a disgrace. As a seller I tried to sell something (after a while of inactivity) and it takes me to a page with a FAKE CONTINUE BUTTON to verify my identity. The other option said call customer service. Inspecting the page easily shows the button is even labeled as FAKE with no action. I call eBay customer service and they tell me to press continue. What a joke. After staying on the phone with me to verify everything they said wait 24 hours and try another browser. I’ve tried several different browsers and different branded devices. I verified all my information, made sure my names and address all matches EXACTLY, and my CC and bank. I had to copy and paste several links and follow a set of arbitrary instructions suggested by THE COMMUNITY to see settings that are NOT AVAILABLE WHILE VISUALLY NAVIGATING. Fix your menu navigation. Yes, i unlinked my PayPal. What a joke. When customer service is telling you to press continue on a fake button, it’s clear the techs have no idea what’s going on. EBay Business is definitely appreciatedEBay is professional, convenient, and very helpful in providing various selection and price. The application is great for both buyers and sellers because it enables swift account access and notifies us of activity. I’ve spent years of my youth and adulthood shopping for shoes, clothing, surfboards, wetsuits, household goods, tools, etc... from local thrift stores such as the Disabled Veterans store (DAV), Goodwill, and Salvation Army because my hard work as a Carpenter provided a salary to put a roof over our heads(needs) / but it has always been and continues to become increasingly difficult to satisfy wants. For instance, I grew up surfing and skateboarding - with VANS shoes on - with a strong group of friends/ family that was(is) part of a generation of men/women that made surfing/ skateboarding an iconic and popular trend. It sometimes bothers me that in order to buy my Daughter’s a pair of VANS it entails spending $100 or more at the VANS store -which I think is ridiculous- because I used to be able to stop by local surf shops when I was young and purchase them for $15-$20 or so. I used to be able to hit the local thrift store and get us all wetsuits, shoes, tools, clothing, iron skillets 😆, toys, household items (pretty much anything) for a decent price. A lot of people have “tapped in to” our culture made it “trendy” - which isn’t a bad thing, but it unnecessarily raises the prices on a lot of items. eBay, thankfully, remains an awesome and appreciated thrift store provider for us on-line that allows our purchase of great items from seller’s out there. A Better Shopping ExperienceI’ve been with EBAY almost 20 years and I’ve never once had a bad buying or selling experience that caused me some sort of anxiety to the point I wanted to cancel my membership. I can always trust that the reviews and ratings given to both parties are accurate in helping me to decide if they are a legitimate, honest and straight forward EBAY’ER before I do business with them. A much larger online store booted me from making anymore consumer reviews through my buying profile because I was giving them too many good reviews. They said it was because of the descriptive “review wording” I was using that caused some suspicion and perhaps I was favoring that company more so over the others. Could you believe that! Reviews are meant to critique both the buyer and sellers shopping experience so other consumers can evaluate them and decide for themselves if they want to do business with them or not. Also, I don’t mind waiting a few extra days of shipping to receive my product through EBAY because I know it will be what I ordered to begin with, and If I have any issues, I can trust it will be handled in a professional and friendly manner without any hassle. EBayEBay has been my go to site for years. I find the best price on what I’m looking for about 90% of the time. It may take longer to get the price if waiting for an auction to end but if It’s not something needed immediately it’s worth the wait. Make sure to read full description of the item so it’s in the condition you want. Do not rely solely on the fist page of a listing since some may have errors such as being listed as new but full description will say open box. New open box may be fine for personal use but if you’re looking for gifts make sure it is new/never opened. If it’s not clearly stated don’t be afraid to ask the seller. Better to ask than go through the hassle of having to return the item. If a problem arises, with an item described wrong or receiving something not as pictured, eBay will work with you to get a full refund. People make mistakes, it will happen, be sure to follow guidelines for return. Do not just return an item without starting a return on eBay or getting confirmation from the seller and make sure to do it ASAP and include a packing list and return ID#. I used to feel very secure with my purchases on EBay and if something went wrong I was confident EBay would rectify it immediately but, now I’m little more apprehensive. I have heard from friends and family of some purchased nightmares, I also noticed when I review something to purchase a lot of times it all seems to change in the final steps of purchasing, whether it be the price that changes or the description changes and becomes vague and EBay seems to be allowing this. I also noticed it’s much harder to get your money back when something does not go right or a stray, even when it’s clearly not your fault. When I go to the store and pick something up off the shelf, it is what it is and the price is what it is or I don’t buy it but, when you buy online and the purchase shows up different then described, it should be cut and dry, you get your money back and the seller be held liable even to the point of losing their product. I feel if you deceive your buyer it’s your own fault you lost your product. I know the majority of sellers are on the up and up and want to be recognized for their honesty but the dishonest ones should have to pay as well as the dishonest buyers. I don’t think EBay has the “We stand behind your purchase” attitude anymore. One point, some time ago, it was very hard to become an EBay seller because EBay was very selective in who they allowed to become a seller within their organization. Stop with the updates! They're worse than everI have been selling on eBay for years. The last years using solely the Ebay app. I list approximately 200 items weekly. Firstly, stop with the updates. With every update the features seem to go downhill. It is becoming harder and harder to navigate. Placement of followed searches, watched items and even things you're selling are scattered all over the place. As far the as selling feature goes, the only improvement I could recommend is adding the second category option to an item being sold. That feature is only an option on a pc. It would be nice to be able to delete bought items. That used to be an option but not with the latest update. Ugh. I like a tidy bought and sold list. I love selling on eBay. The app is way simpler than the old style desktop way. eBay is the way I make ends meet and pay for my children's college. Don't think I don't appreciate the opportunity eBay gives me. New image search “feature” ruins experienceWhoever designed the new “touch the screen to start an image search” “feature” has obviously never used the mobile app. This new “feature” ruins the browsing experience. I don’t even want to spend time on the app anymore... You folks should use your own app more often; Most of us actual users do this: search for an item, then browse the long list of items that come up using our thumb by 1a) resting our thumb on the lower area of the screen until we’re done looking at the current set of items on the screen 2) then moving it up the screen to scroll and get the next set of items. Or 1b) even if we don’t rest our thumb for the entire time on the screen, there’s a delay from when we touch the screen to when we scroll (this delay is our brains processing information). Now if my thumb doesn’t IMMEDIATELY move upon touching the screen it causes the “image search” feature to pop up and it COMPLETELY ruins the experience and flow and enjoyment and everything that makes browsing eBay anything resembling good. I’m typically pretty accepting and understand that nothing is perfect and take the good and the bad with apps and other things. But this is just silly, anyone that uses the app can see how much this ruins the browsing experience. It really makes me not want to use it anymore....Version: 5.27.0

Good for buyers, bad for sellersMy site says NO RETURNS. But recently a buyer said that my item was not as described, eBay AUTOMATICALLY accepted the return, without letting me protect myself. This was a jet black fur, which my 12 photos showed that the fur was indeed deep black, but the return was granted to the buyer who said the fur was brown. The eBay representative who looked at my 12 photos said that the photos showed that the fur was definitely Black. There was a rug on my floor in the photo which was brown, black, and beige, and you could clearly see that the black in the rug was the same as in the fur, and you could clearly see the brown color in the rug. There was photos too of this sweater on my off white sofa, and you could see that the fur was jet black. The Philippine representative told me that its an automatic return policy that eBay has if the buyer says not as described! The Philippine rep also said it’s better for me that I take back the item even if it’s buyers remorse, BUT THATS RIDICULOUS! Why should I pay the shipping both ways! Why should I lose money! WHERE IS MY SELLER PROTECTION!! EBAYS NEW POLICY IS VERY BAD. EBAY BUYERS KNOW THIS AND ARE ABUSING THE SYSTEM. My seller asked me why I’m protesting her return.. as she put it “ no one else protested her return!” She then continued to tell me that my sweater was the wrong color black!
