Studio 6This motel is apparently in the process of being upgraded but they shouldn’t be renting some of these rooms yet! We had reserved a suite with kitchen option. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived so the check in attendant said we would be in another room. We went to that room and it was old and fairly dirty looking. We went back to front desk and said that room was unacceptable and we would wait for the suite to be cleaned and ready. About an hour passed and the very pleasant lady manager said our room was ready . After going to the room there were several surprises! It was a kitchen suite with new refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop and sink. However there were no dishes, utensils, glasses or cookware! None! Not even plastic glasses in bathroom. We had to go back to front desk to get some plastic glasses, bottled water and ice. There were no ice venders in motel. The drink vending machine didn’t work with paper dollars so the attendant gave us quarters to be able to buy water bottles. Bed appeared to be new but the mattress was substandard and not very comfortable. What really topped it off was taking a shower the next morning. No hot water….barely lukewarm!The tub shower was old and grab handle was missing. The holes were there but apparently it had been broken and removed. Bath sink faucet was old and didn’t work well. There was a coffeemaker in the kitchen with coffee packets but no coffee mugs or paper cups! So no morning coffee!! We had reserved two nights but found a better hotel for second night and checked out of Suite 6 telling ourselves not to ever go there again!!! The staff was hospitable but they didn’t have much to work with. The cost was way over what the value was!!.Version: 2025.6.912

July stayLet me start off by saying we love the Seawitch. We've been staying here every year for the vast five years whenever we come down to Carolina beach . Normally when we get there we have no problems getting in alittle early ( I know that is never guaranteed) . So this time we did our normal got there about 130 and asked if we could . we could see the lady in there cleaning the room so they told us about an hour . Ok no problem , we went to the boardwalk . We came back about 3 ish and check in time is 4. They said no not yet it’ll probably be right about 4 before it’s ready. Ok no problem, like I said we know what check in time is. So off we go again and come back at 4 . We were still told that we could not get into our room because they were waiting on the team to finish up , change a comforter and then The manager had to approve the room. We did not get into our room till closer to 6 pm. Was I happy not at all. We were told that they had a new cleaning crew . Once we got into our room everything was was great as always . They are wonderful there. Always have been. If you need it they get it for you. There is one lady that works there I don’t know her name she has long brown hair and a gentleman with brown hair, they are great. So nice , friendly and really helpful. Let me also finish up by saying I had book through Expedia and Expedia screwed up my reservation dates in there end . The lady that called me and talked to me on the phone worked some magic and got everything corrected. The rooms are always clean and comfortable , we look forward to many more years of visiting the Seawitch..Version: 2024.29

After in update it’s become really painfulWe tried to make some adjustments on our hotel reservation. Apparently we can’t do it anymore by ourselves and need to have the help of a “virtual agent”. A simple change of dates turned out to be a little more than what we bargained for. The agent suggested that we cancel and and then rebook the same hotel, which is also impossible without and agent. After 15 minutes of conversation we managed to cancel our booking, only to find out that to make new reservation was not a simple task either. We were charged (twice) but the payment page kept giving us an error message. Despite that, we were charged - twice! We never received an itinerary either. After that we were on Chat with an agent for at least 40 min then we were asked to send an attachment showing payment, which is not possible to do, at least on IOS for iPad. He sent an email to attach photos, and while we were figuring out how, one of the two charges was canceled by the vendor. After another long pause the agent on Chat said there wasn’t anything we could do than to try again in an hour. There is no way to involve a supervisor, and there apparently isn’t a customer service number anymore either . After that I felt like I need a good drink to stay strong and wait for another 7 to 10 business days to see if they cancel the second charge … W…?.Version: 23.3

Felt like homeHello, I liked to share my experience with my stay at The Gravity Haus. As soon as I walked in a was welcomed by a young woman, who was very friendly and polite. She checked me in and shared the amenities with me, great way to end my night after a 4 hour drive. I noticed this hotel in particular was very different, a modern feeling, plants brought a sense of life into the lobby. Getting into the room, my significant other and I started talking about how the room made us feel, no lie we are no hotel critics but we talked about the layout, the small things that made this room feel like a home, the yellow Parks book, for crying out loud we had an hour long photo shoot lol, the blanket on the couch, the bench in the room & how spacious & clean the room was. Through out our stay we encountered different people working the front desk, in particular the grave yard shift man, who shared with us places to see, places to dine, the best times to see Delicate Arch, etc. very friendly and pleasant. The Gravity Haus will definitely be our coming back home for the weekends in our future visits to Moab. Thanks for an awesome experience..Version: 2024.13

Very Nice, Centrally Located HotelI booked three nights over the weekend before Christmas so two of my daughters and I could explore the Christmas markets and sights. Arriving by train, the hotel is only maybe a 1km walk from Hamburg Central Station, an easy walk. We found the hotel to be a great central base and jumping off point for setting out on foot. The surrounding areas felt very safe, and a number of markets were nearby, but if we needed rest, the room at the hotel was quiet, well appointed, and well maintained. There was some construction/maintenance going on in the room next door, however the staff went to great efforts to keep it discreet and unobtrusive. The front counter and housekeeping staff were exceptional, friendly, and warm. Do yourself a favor when you stay at Baseler Hof: In your room, in one of the nightstands, look for a book about the history of the hotel. Regardless of you understanding of the German language, the book will still tell the story of the hotel and its 100+ years of history. As a very frequent traveler for both business and pleasure, I certain you will enjoy your stay..Version: 2025.50

Incredible experience.As seasoned travelers in the Caribbean, we’ve been to many top resorts. Le Toiny delivered an elite experience on all fronts. The hotel “room” was actually a 1300 square foot villa with a living room, mini bar and table, significant bathroom, and a large master bedroom. The villa has its own pool with a hillside view of the Caribbean. There was a well-trained, attentive staff member for every request and the combination of privacy with friendly energy from other guests that was ideal. They served breakfast (included with your stay) in their main restaurant — what a great way to start your day with many made to order options, delicious coffee, and fresh juices! While the villas are perched on the hillside elevated from the ocean, there are several Range Rover shuttles that takes you to their exclusive beach club (3-4 minutes) with no delay. We enjoyed watching the surfers while sipping delicious house-made cocktails. I would recommend a rental car to easily navigate this small island. Each day when we left the resort, we were eager to return to enjoy this five star gem!! We are already planning our return!.Version: 2024.26

Ramada Vandalia ILI don’t normally leave reviews but I woke up at 4am with something crawling on my forehead it was a cockroach I knocked it off and collected took it to the front desk to them that’s the second one I had seen in the room I wanted a different room for the next night lady said no problem I’m sorry I show back up at 2am and she tells me the management did not switch my room they just cleaned to real good so with no other option at 2am I agreed to take it and I go in the room and the sheets on both bed have the same cigarette burns in them they had when I left and the trash can still had someone else’s pill wrapper in it from the last rental I gave them several attempts to make this right and no attempt from them was made all I wanted was my room changed they couldn’t do that no problem they won’t have to worry about it again I rent about 30-40 rooms a year in Vandalia and they won’t have to worry about me coming back The girls at the desk was all very nice we know one from the other hotel we stay at and never had a problem management seems to be the problem.Version: 2024.33

Convenient and comfortableThis is the 3rd time we are staying at this hotel. It is the most convenient and comfortable hotel we have found in Kyoto. The rooms are ‘western size’ which is great for our western sized bodies! The rooms can use a little updating and is starting to show wear and tear but is still very comfortable. We took full advantage of the free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes between the hotel and the train station that is both reliable and organized. Only con is it stops at 7:00pm which is a little early. The walk to the hotel from the train station is very short and easy but we did get quite spoiled with the shuttle. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is good with both Japanese and western cuisine. The menu doesn’t change from day to day with the exception of the pasta. The croissants are my favorite and my hubby loves the Japanese rice and ‘Nato’ with grilled fish! The staff and service is top notch. The concierge is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She assisted with dinner reservations, finding a good masseuse, organizing transportation for 6 of us all with a smile! Wonderful stay..Version: 2025.21

It’s not reliableI booked a room for me and my girlfriend. When I arrived they said I only booked for one person even though I paid extra for breakfast for 2 people. The hotel insisted I must pay extra for an extra person. They didn’t care that my receipt clearly showed I paid for 2 breakfasts, the booking only said one person. I know there is no way I would have knowingly booked a room for 1. Obviously selecting the breakfast extras didn’t trigger any conflicts. The whole thing was a mess and because The Holiday Inn was so rude and obtuse and stuck on me paying extra, I had to leave. The booking was non refundable. I even tried to get them to cancel the booking so I could rebook it with 2 people so I could show the hotel that the problem was with the app, they didn’t care. All around a horrible experience. Edit: I already tried talking to customer service. They did nothing and basically told me it’s my fault because I booked for 1 person and not 2. Which didn’t happen. I definitely booked for 2 and paid for breakfast for 2. Edit 2: You already suggested this. Broken AI making responses? Do you always answer with the same thing? Customer careI was just about to give up on this app completely! I stayed 10 nights, and was not able to get my stamps for any nights. However, I decided to call and no one was able to help me after constantly being hung up on. Then I decided to try the help chat and after an hour and a half of non stop transferring from one department to another. As well as constant disconnections I was just furious. Then finally, I was transferred to another agent Christine Joy C. it showed up as on our chat, and she literally fixed everything in under 10 min. I don’t see why any of the other multiple agents I spoke to prior was not able to do what she just did for me. No one was able to answer a simple question. Honestly a simple yes or no would have been suffice after an hour, but instead gave me the run around. I hate writing reviews, and truthfully I would have given this app and customer care a zero star rating if it was possible, but because I was actually grateful for her assistance I give you guys 5 stars and I will continue to book through this app for future endeavors..Version: 13.1.1

Housekeeping stealsOn the day of check out I left my portable Ninja blender in the refrigerator. I contacted the hotel and was told to leave a message and someone would call me back. After not hearing from them after a couple days I called back and this time was given a website to go on and fill out my information on what was left and what day etc. It took awhile before I received a response and I was told that it wasn’t in the room. It was in the room and I just had put it in the refrigerator before I left to get the contents cold for my drive home. The hotel is a nice looking hotel and the food was good but I’m not happy that my item was stolen and sure not happy that I had to go through all of this for nothing to be done about it. I left a couple of other things in the fridge as well but that was the only thing that I asked for back because of the sentimental value and the value. I have been to hotels before where housekeeping has stolen items from my room and now it’s like they don’t want to hold them accountable and they can easily prove it. They have cameras and they know who was assigned to that room. They also know who entered the rooms by the key cards. Just shameful.Version: 2026.20

Lake Lawn stay was good!We had a good overnight stay at Lake Lawn! The room and amenities were wonderful! We enjoyed a round of Golf, sun bathing at one of the 2 outdoor pools with lake views. Dinner at the Lookout Bar&Grill and breakfast with Starbucks at Capri Cafe. We had a jacuzzi tub in our room and wonderful rocking chairs on our semi-private patio facing the first hole of the golf course. Our only complaint was how Lynette at registration desk treated my wife when attempting to checkin for our room while I was golfing. She was treated unfairly and was not greatly assisted due to booking a room through a “third party vendor” and not having my wife’s full name on the reservation. However we had been there earlier and spoke to another person who informed us our room wasn’t ready yet and provided us with armbands for the pool that my wife was still wearing. My wife was forced to have to call me interrupting my game and make me call the desk to add her. Lynette wouldn’t accept her DL proving same last name and address on the reservation or my wife’s call to me. This was NOT the best first impression made by this single employee, however won’t impact us from trying another future stay..Version: 2024.37

VERY TERRIBLE, NO GOOD, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEThe experiment was good at first, then I have to call in and change my staying days to later due to travel issues. I call CS, waited for an hour or so to change my booking days. They said everything is gone thru and I was all set. Until the days before my staying, I call the hotel and they said there no booking or reservations under my name’s. I contact CS again, they said they’ll contact the hotel and solve my situation and call the hotel back to confirm later. I call the hotel again, there NOTHING under my names. I’ll started getting frustrated because I’ll already paid and the price was not cheap. I’ll contact them 2 more times and every time they said it will sorted out. NOTHING WAS SOLVED. I get extremely frustrated then I meet Yashna. This 5* is for her. SHE IS THE ONLY HELFUL AGENTS FOR THIS WHOLE APP. Instead of saying things like it’s will sorted out, just waited for a bit, bla bla bla…. She FOUND the problem and FIX IT. Anw, I spend too much time and too much stress using this app. Bye. Not HelpfulI booked with this site all of the time. Yesterday, we arrived at our “hotel” at 6pm and they had no clean rooms. They actually gave us keys to a room that was being used! They told us to come back in two hours! I called the 800 number for help and was treated horribly by Bella a manager. She was rude and would not help. I understand we had a non-refundable rate and we would have stayed at our accommodation if they would have had a room for us. But they did not even though they kept claiming they did! Pretty unacceptable, there’s like 100 other sites like this I could use, but I’ve always used this one because I have never had a problem. On hold for over twenty minutes just to get transferred to someone who was completely rude and unhelpful. I still would like my full refund. A definition of a reservation is you have a room waiting for you since we already paid. People were coming in after us getting cleaned rooms and no one would help us out! Nice but irritatedSo I’ve stayed there a few times I never once got told I had to pay a security deposit. Yes, I got it back rather quickly when I checked out, but that’s not the point I didn’t see anything on a reservation that said I was gonna have to do that any other time that I stayed there and yet I had to do that this time. My second issue and it’s a really big issue is that my husband is in a wheelchair and every time I try to go down the hallway they had a laundry cart blocking half of the hallway. And there was nobody there half the time to move it one time was there was somebody there to move it and he got an attitude because he had to move it, you cannot leave big carts in the middle of the hallway and take up almost the whole hallway so people in wheelchairs cannot get through. It’s unprofessional. The third issue is this is the first time I used the pool and I have to say I was disappointed. It needs a whole new remodel if you look at the water because the pool looks so horrible. It looks like the water is dirty, even if it’s not. Just my opinion..Version: 2026.23

Alright if you’re going for the cheapest.Price was decent, not the cheapest in Ocean City, but not the highest either. With that being said, I expected more. The beds were horrible, very lumpy and I kept hearing a spring slipping as I tossed and turned. The room was super small with barely enough room to maneuver. The bathroom was even smaller. There were jets in the tub but I wasn’t about to take a bath and turn on the nastiness. The tv was tiny and apparently no cable. It was a smart tv but then you have to login with your own apps (don’t forget to sign them out). I could literally see the lights from the hallway around the door and plainly hear all the noise coming from it. The pool was the best thing about the hotel besides it being right on the beach. Several dining options right at the hotel with live music (oldies mostly, but decent). The Mug and Mallet restaurant below the hotel was super good, we ate there twice. My advice, pay a little more so that you can at least get a good nights rest while you’re on vacation. We will not be staying there again. If it wasn’t for the restaurant, I would have given 2 stars out maybe even 1..Version: 2024.23

Excellent Service & Great StaffThis place deserves 10 stars. The staff is incredible, always eager to please. We stayed multiple nights in a one bedroom king suite that had 800 square feet of living space. For the lack of house keepers, this hotel was on point. When I say I dropped my waffle on the floor and ate it, I dropped my waffle on the floor and ate it, it was so clean. These workers were kind, they were always happy to help. And they went above and beyond to make sure each one of our needs were met. It is worth the price you pay alone in the just the staff alone. I will never stay in another hotel in Springfield, as long as these group of ladies are running this place. You will not be disappointed. Their breakfast was excellent, biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, cereal, waffles, you name it, it was there and fresh. If you come to Springfield, don’t pass up on a great place that will put the Hilton, Marriot, the Ritz to shame. Customer service is horribleThey do a bait and switch they give you codes for extra stamps that you won’t get instead there system conveniently don’t show something that you know you did gold membership also a lie you never get the perks they say you will and when it’s something simple to fix they give you the run around so after many years of using the service and average 150 ish nights a year I will book one more night through them to get my free night which I should have already had then I will no longer use them or their parent company Expedia and I think the only way to stop these crooks these liars is by boycotting there services until they realize that the customer is what keeps them relevant DO NOT USE THEM THEY WILL CHEAT YOU IN THE END AND THEN ACT LIKE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU DID. Nice place to stay but not the bestThe hotel was a nice place to stay. We stayed there for about 11 to 12 days. The hotel itself is nice. The beds are comfortable and they people coming to do the cleaning are pleasant. Over all it was good. I wish I could have booked somewhere else that was a bit closer to the city. I wish they had a microwave and a place to do quick washing and drying of your clothes. Some guests had to put their clothes outside in the balcony to dry and so did we but once it dried it had a nasty smell to them. If washer and dryer was not available they should have a service where they could wash your shirts and pants for free at least. There is an option for them to wash your clothes but you have to pay for it. Again wish they had a microwave as we did order from outside and our food would get cold and when we didn’t finish it and there was no place to warm it up. Easy and effectiveI really was impressed on how easy and effective it was to make my reservation with lots of options made available to me. I received my confirmation immediately via email and further information and contact numbers in case I needed to reach out to the hotel before arriving. I felt confident that my reservation was done properly with a secured website that kept my credit card guarantee private. I did not have to post a single dollar to reserve and my credit card will not be charged until my arrival. I also can cancel my reservation the day before with no charge. I also now am enrolled in what is called one key, a service that links me to VRBO and Expedia. Super easy to now obtain reservation the way I need it to be. The price could not be a better price for an incredible villa that includes the golf cart. Very pleased and looking forward to a great vacation. Marina Banderas Suites, Nuevo Vallarta MexicoThis by far will be one of the easiest reviews to write. My husband and I stayed a couple of nights at this resort and will be recommending it to all my family and friends. It absolutely is a gem. The rooms were nice and clean, the personal touches(fully stocked mini bar), was outstanding. At first we were a little Leary with it not being a large place but the staff, especially Alida and her daughter Alida, made us feel welcomed, and safe. They were extremely helpful and ALWAYS made sure we were taken care of. The on sight restaurant was excellent!!! The food was delicious, and they too met every need and/or request. We really, really felt welcomed and very well taken care of. I actually hated to leave. Staying there was the absolute highlight of our trip to Puerto Vallarta and an all around great decision I will definitely miss you all and hope to be back soon. Room in the back 40Let me preface this by saying I decided to take my visiting sister and 85-year-old mother to spend the night in Wendover. I had taken her in November when she was out visiting in Salt Lake City and figured I’d do it again. Had no idea certain rooms were two elevators and 4 football fields away from the casino. When we got to the fifth floor our room was greeted by a shared wall with a barking dog and screaming children till past midnight. My mother had to go to the front desk and have a wheelchair escort to take her too and from the room. In hindsight, the room location was on me. I should’ve mentioned to them that my mother could not walk far. But the barking dog and screaming children is poor sound insulation and rude patrons. Would not stay again, unless I was hyper specific on where the room should be and who my neighbors would be a.k.a. no pets next door. Besides that the room was spacious and clean..Version: 2026.23

Buyer Beware “Rewards” are a lieWe have spent thousands this year in hotel travel, booking through the hotels app every time. Every time we have been “logged in” and we have never, Not Once been able view or redeem our “free night” stamp which we are supposed to get for every 10th stay. When we click on the rewards widget, it redirects us to every other link but no data is available regarding the rewards program. The app did not used to operate like this in the past. Prior to 2020, we were able to easily navigate the app and utilize our rewards, which now seems to be changing every time we log in. The “rewards” program all over your commercials is now non-existent. Kinda seems illegal. Our experience is not a great way to do business! We are unimpressed, to say the very least and considering legal action to say the most. Uninstalling & never using this again..Version: 23.16

First time stayThis was our first time staying at the Sheridan Fallsview and it was absolutely amazing. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the falls. The staff was very accommodating and kind courteous and knowledgeable. The location of the Fallsview hotel was close to everything that we needed to get to definitely recommend checking out the bird exhibit which is about a five minute walk from the hotel and as always, you have to check out the fireworks at night over Niagara Falls Falls. Getting better. Big improvementBig improvement you can now easily store potential bookings but…. 2 things! Sharing what I would like to book with others is a pain. It’s useless. They are required to download the app. So I end up using booking.com. The other big big anoying thing is there is no place I can go see hotels I have looked at and placed a heart on. Once you change dates in some circumstances or if I’m looking for hotels I was looking the year before I can’t find the hotels that I potentially would like to try one day..Version: 2026.20
