Studio 6This motel is apparently in the process of being upgraded but they shouldn’t be renting some of these rooms yet! We had reserved a suite with kitchen option. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived so the check in attendant said we would be in another room. We went to that room and it was old and fairly dirty looking. We went back to front desk and said that room was unacceptable and we would wait for the suite to be cleaned and ready. About an hour passed and the very pleasant lady manager said our room was ready . After going to the room there were several surprises! It was a kitchen suite with new refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop and sink. However there were no dishes, utensils, glasses or cookware! None! Not even plastic glasses in bathroom. We had to go back to front desk to get some plastic glasses, bottled water and ice. There were no ice venders in motel. The drink vending machine didn’t work with paper dollars so the attendant gave us quarters to be able to buy water bottles.
Bed appeared to be new but the mattress was substandard and not very comfortable. What really topped it off was taking a shower the next morning. No hot water….barely lukewarm!The tub shower was old and grab handle was missing. The holes were there but apparently it had been broken and removed. Bath sink faucet was old and didn’t work well. There was a coffeemaker in the kitchen with coffee packets but no coffee mugs or paper cups! So no morning coffee!! We had reserved two nights but found a better hotel for second night and checked out of Suite 6 telling ourselves not to ever go there again!!!

July stayLet me start off by saying we love the Seawitch. We've been staying here every year for the vast five years whenever we come down to Carolina beach .
Normally when we get there we have no problems getting in alittle early ( I know that is never guaranteed) . So this time we did our normal got there about 130 and asked if we could . we could see the lady in there cleaning the room so they told us about an hour . Ok no problem , we went to the boardwalk . We came back about 3 ish and check in time is 4. They said no not yet it’ll probably be right about 4 before it’s ready. Ok no problem, like I said we know what check in time is. So off we go again and come back at 4 . We were still told that we could not get into our room because they were waiting on the team to finish up , change a comforter and then The manager had to approve the room. We did not get into our room till closer to 6 pm. Was I happy not at all. We were told that they had a new cleaning crew . Once we got into our room everything was was great as always . They are wonderful there. Always have been. If you need it they get it for you. There is one lady that works there I don’t know her name she has long brown hair and a gentleman with brown hair, they are great. So nice , friendly and really helpful.
Let me also finish up by saying I had book through Expedia and Expedia screwed up my reservation dates in there end . The lady that called me and talked to me on the phone worked some magic and got everything corrected. After in update it’s become really painfulWe tried to make some adjustments on our hotel reservation. Apparently we can’t do it anymore by ourselves and need to have the help of a “virtual agent”. A simple change of dates turned out to be a little more than what we bargained for. The agent suggested that we cancel and and then rebook the same hotel, which is also impossible without and agent. After 15 minutes of conversation we managed to cancel our booking, only to find out that to make new reservation was not a simple task either. We were charged (twice) but the payment page kept giving us an error message. Despite that, we were charged - twice! We never received an itinerary either. After that we were on Chat with an agent for at least 40 min then we were asked to send an attachment showing payment, which is not possible to do, at least on IOS for iPad. He sent an email to attach photos, and while we were figuring out how, one of the two charges was canceled by the vendor. After another long pause the agent on Chat said there wasn’t anything we could do than to try again in an hour. There is no way to involve a supervisor, and there apparently isn’t a customer service number anymore either . After that I felt like I need a good drink to stay strong and wait for another 7 to 10 business days to see if they cancel the second charge … W…?.Dusia11Version: 23.3
Felt like homeHello, I liked to share my experience with my stay at The Gravity Haus. As soon as I walked in a was welcomed by a young woman, who was very friendly and polite. She checked me in and shared the amenities with me, great way to end my night after a 4 hour drive. I noticed this hotel in particular was very different, a modern feeling, plants brought a sense of life into the lobby. Getting into the room, my significant other and I started talking about how the room made us feel, no lie we are no hotel critics but we talked about the layout, the small things that made this room feel like a home, the yellow Parks book, for crying out loud we had an hour long photo shoot lol, the blanket on the couch, the bench in the room & how spacious & clean the room was. Through out our stay we encountered different people working the front desk, in particular the grave yard shift man, who shared with us places to see, places to dine, the best times to see Delicate Arch, etc. very friendly and pleasant. Very Nice, Centrally Located HotelI booked three nights over the weekend before Christmas so two of my daughters and I could explore the Christmas markets and sights. Arriving by train, the hotel is only maybe a 1km walk from Hamburg Central Station, an easy walk. We found the hotel to be a great central base and jumping off point for setting out on foot. The surrounding areas felt very safe, and a number of markets were nearby, but if we needed rest, the room at the hotel was quiet, well appointed, and well maintained. There was some construction/maintenance going on in the room next door, however the staff went to great efforts to keep it discreet and unobtrusive. The front counter and housekeeping staff were exceptional, friendly, and warm.
Do yourself a favor when you stay at Baseler Hof: In your room, in one of the nightstands, look for a book about the history of the hotel. Regardless of you understanding of the German language, the book will still tell the story of the hotel and its 100+ years of history. Incredible experience.As seasoned travelers in the Caribbean, we’ve been to many top resorts. Le Toiny delivered an elite experience on all fronts. The hotel “room” was actually a 1300 square foot villa with a living room, mini bar and table, significant bathroom, and a large master bedroom. The villa has its own pool with a hillside view of the Caribbean. There was a well-trained, attentive staff member for every request and the combination of privacy with friendly energy from other guests that was ideal. They served breakfast (included with your stay) in their main restaurant — what a great way to start your day with many made to order options, delicious coffee, and fresh juices! While the villas are perched on the hillside elevated from the ocean, there are several Range Rover shuttles that takes you to their exclusive beach club (3-4 minutes) with no delay. We enjoyed watching the surfers while sipping delicious house-made cocktails. I would recommend a rental car to easily navigate this small island. Ramada Vandalia ILI don’t normally leave reviews but I woke up at 4am with something crawling on my forehead it was a cockroach I knocked it off and collected took it to the front desk to them that’s the second one I had seen in the room I wanted a different room for the next night lady said no problem I’m sorry I show back up at 2am and she tells me the management did not switch my room they just cleaned to real good so with no other option at 2am I agreed to take it and I go in the room and the sheets on both bed have the same cigarette burns in them they had when I left and the trash can still had someone else’s pill wrapper in it from the last rental I gave them several attempts to make this right and no attempt from them was made all I wanted was my room changed they couldn’t do that no problem they won’t have to worry about it again I rent about 30-40 rooms a year in Vandalia and they won’t have to worry about me coming back

Convenient and comfortableThis is the 3rd time we are staying at this hotel. It is the most convenient and comfortable hotel we have found in Kyoto. The rooms are ‘western size’ which is great for our western sized bodies! The rooms can use a little updating and is starting to show wear and tear but is still very comfortable. We took full advantage of the free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes between the hotel and the train station that is both reliable and organized. Only con is it stops at 7:00pm which is a little early. The walk to the hotel from the train station is very short and easy but we did get quite spoiled with the shuttle. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is good with both Japanese and western cuisine. The menu doesn’t change from day to day with the exception of the pasta. The croissants are my favorite and my hubby loves the Japanese rice and ‘Nato’ with grilled fish! The staff and service is top notch. The concierge is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It’s not reliableI booked a room for me and my girlfriend. When I arrived they said I only booked for one person even though I paid extra for breakfast for 2 people. The hotel insisted I must pay extra for an extra person. They didn’t care that my receipt clearly showed I paid for 2 breakfasts, the booking only said one person. I know there is no way I would have knowingly booked a room for 1. Obviously selecting the breakfast extras didn’t trigger any conflicts. The whole thing was a mess and because The Holiday Inn was so rude and obtuse and stuck on me paying extra, I had to leave. The booking was non refundable. I even tried to get them to cancel the booking so I could rebook it with 2 people so I could show the hotel that the problem was with the app, they didn’t care. All around a horrible experience. Edit: I already tried talking to customer service. They did nothing and basically told me it’s my fault because I booked for 1 person and not 2. Which didn’t happen. I definitely booked for 2 and paid for breakfast for 2.

Customer careI was just about to give up on this app completely! I stayed 10 nights, and was not able to get my stamps for any nights. However, I decided to call and no one was able to help me after constantly being hung up on. Then I decided to try the help chat and after an hour and a half of non stop transferring from one department to another. As well as constant disconnections I was just furious. Then finally, I was transferred to another agent Christine Joy C. it showed up as on our chat, and she literally fixed everything in under 10 min. I don’t see why any of the other multiple agents I spoke to prior was not able to do what she just did for me. No one was able to answer a simple question. Honestly a simple yes or no would have been suffice after an hour, but instead gave me the run around. I hate writing reviews, and truthfully I would have given this app and customer care a zero star rating if it was possible, but because I was actually grateful for her assistance I give you guys 5 stars and I will continue to book through this app for future endeavors..HTo0190Version: 13.1.1
Housekeeping stealsOn the day of check out I left my portable Ninja blender in the refrigerator. I contacted the hotel and was told to leave a message and someone would call me back. After not hearing from them after a couple days I called back and this time was given a website to go on and fill out my information on what was left and what day etc. It took awhile before I received a response and I was told that it wasn’t in the room. It was in the room and I just had put it in the refrigerator before I left to get the contents cold for my drive home. The hotel is a nice looking hotel and the food was good but I’m not happy that my item was stolen and sure not happy that I had to go through all of this for nothing to be done about it. I left a couple of other things in the fridge as well but that was the only thing that I asked for back because of the sentimental value and the value. I have been to hotels before where housekeeping has stolen items from my room and now it’s like they don’t want to hold them accountable and they can easily prove it. Lake Lawn stay was good!We had a good overnight stay at Lake Lawn! The room and amenities were wonderful! We enjoyed a round of Golf, sun bathing at one of the 2 outdoor pools with lake views. Dinner at the Lookout Bar&Grill and breakfast with Starbucks at Capri Cafe. We had a jacuzzi tub in our room and wonderful rocking chairs on our semi-private patio facing the first hole of the golf course. Our only complaint was how Lynette at registration desk treated my wife when attempting to checkin for our room while I was golfing. She was treated unfairly and was not greatly assisted due to booking a room through a “third party vendor” and not having my wife’s full name on the reservation. However we had been there earlier and spoke to another person who informed us our room wasn’t ready yet and provided us with armbands for the pool that my wife was still wearing. My wife was forced to have to call me interrupting my game and make me call the desk to add her. Lynette wouldn’t accept her DL proving same last name and address on the reservation or my wife’s call to me. VERY TERRIBLE, NO GOOD, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEThe experiment was good at first, then I have to call in and change my staying days to later due to travel issues. I call CS, waited for an hour or so to change my booking days. They said everything is gone thru and I was all set. Until the days before my staying, I call the hotel and they said there no booking or reservations under my name’s. I contact CS again, they said they’ll contact the hotel and solve my situation and call the hotel back to confirm later. I call the hotel again, there NOTHING under my names. I’ll started getting frustrated because I’ll already paid and the price was not cheap. I’ll contact them 2 more times and every time they said it will sorted out. NOTHING WAS SOLVED. Not HelpfulI booked with this site all of the time. Yesterday, we arrived at our “hotel” at 6pm and they had no clean rooms. They actually gave us keys to a room that was being used! They told us to come back in two hours! I called the 800 number for help and was treated horribly by Bella a manager. She was rude and would not help. I understand we had a non-refundable rate and we would have stayed at our accommodation if they would have had a room for us. But they did not even though they kept claiming they did! Pretty unacceptable, there’s like 100 other sites like this I could use, but I’ve always used this one because I have never had a problem. On hold for over twenty minutes just to get transferred to someone who was completely rude and unhelpful. I still would like my full refund. A definition of a reservation is you have a room waiting for you since we already paid. People were coming in after us getting cleaned rooms and no one would help us out! Nice but irritatedSo I’ve stayed there a few times I never once got told I had to pay a security deposit. Yes, I got it back rather quickly when I checked out, but that’s not the point I didn’t see anything on a reservation that said I was gonna have to do that any other time that I stayed there and yet I had to do that this time. My second issue and it’s a really big issue is that my husband is in a wheelchair and every time I try to go down the hallway they had a laundry cart blocking half of the hallway. And there was nobody there half the time to move it one time was there was somebody there to move it and he got an attitude because he had to move it, you cannot leave big carts in the middle of the hallway and take up almost the whole hallway so people in wheelchairs cannot get through. It’s unprofessional. The third issue is this is the first time I used the pool and I have to say I was disappointed. Alright if you’re going for the cheapest.Price was decent, not the cheapest in Ocean City, but not the highest either. With that being said, I expected more. The beds were horrible, very lumpy and I kept hearing a spring slipping as I tossed and turned. The room was super small with barely enough room to maneuver. The bathroom was even smaller. There were jets in the tub but I wasn’t about to take a bath and turn on the nastiness. The tv was tiny and apparently no cable. It was a smart tv but then you have to login with your own apps (don’t forget to sign them out). I could literally see the lights from the hallway around the door and plainly hear all the noise coming from it. The pool was the best thing about the hotel besides it being right on the beach. Several dining options right at the hotel with live music (oldies mostly, but decent). The Mug and Mallet restaurant below the hotel was super good, we ate there twice. My advice, pay a little more so that you can at least get a good nights rest while you’re on vacation. We will not be staying there again. Excellent Service & Great StaffThis place deserves 10 stars. The staff is incredible, always eager to please. We stayed multiple nights in a one bedroom king suite that had 800 square feet of living space. For the lack of house keepers, this hotel was on point. When I say I dropped my waffle on the floor and ate it, I dropped my waffle on the floor and ate it, it was so clean. These workers were kind, they were always happy to help. And they went above and beyond to make sure each one of our needs were met. It is worth the price you pay alone in the just the staff alone. I will never stay in another hotel in Springfield, as long as these group of ladies are running this place. You will not be disappointed. Their breakfast was excellent, biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, cereal, waffles, you name it, it was there and fresh.

Nice place to stay but not the bestThe hotel was a nice place to stay. We stayed there for about 11 to 12 days. The hotel itself is nice. The beds are comfortable and they people coming to do the cleaning are pleasant. Over all it was good. I wish I could have booked somewhere else that was a bit closer to the city. I wish they had a microwave and a place to do quick washing and drying of your clothes. Some guests had to put their clothes outside in the balcony to dry and so did we but once it dried it had a nasty smell to them. If washer and dryer was not available they should have a service where they could wash your shirts and pants for free at least. There is an option for them to wash your clothes but you have to pay for it. Again wish they had a microwave as we did order from outside and our food would get cold and when we didn’t finish it and there was no place to warm it up. Easy and effectiveI really was impressed on how easy and effective it was to make my reservation with lots of options made available to me.
I received my confirmation immediately via email and further information and contact numbers in case I needed to reach out to the hotel before arriving. I felt confident that my reservation was done properly with a secured website that kept my credit card guarantee private. I did not have to post a single dollar to reserve and my credit card will not be charged until my arrival. I also can cancel my reservation the day before with no charge. I also now am enrolled in what is called one key, a service that links me to VRBO and Expedia. Super easy to now obtain reservation the way I need it to be. The price could not be a better price for an incredible villa that includes the golf cart.

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights at this resort and will be recommending it to all my family and friends. It absolutely is a gem. The rooms were nice and clean, the personal touches(fully stocked mini bar), was outstanding. At first we were a little Leary with it not being a large place but the staff, especially Alida and her daughter Alida, made us feel welcomed, and safe. They were extremely helpful and ALWAYS made sure we were taken care of. The on sight restaurant was excellent!!! The food was delicious, and they too met every need and/or request. We really, really felt welcomed and very well taken care of. I actually hated to leave. Staying there was the absolute highlight of our trip to Puerto Vallarta and an all around great decision I will definitely miss you all and hope to be back soon. Room in the back 40Let me preface this by saying I decided to take my visiting sister and 85-year-old mother to spend the night in Wendover. I had taken her in November when she was out visiting in Salt Lake City and figured I’d do it again. Had no idea certain rooms were two elevators and 4 football fields away from the casino. When we got to the fifth floor our room was greeted by a shared wall with a barking dog and screaming children till past midnight. My mother had to go to the front desk and have a wheelchair escort to take her too and from the room. In hindsight, the room location was on me. I should’ve mentioned to them that my mother could not walk far. But the barking dog and screaming children is poor sound insulation and rude patrons. Would not stay again, unless I was hyper specific on where the room should be and who my neighbors would be a.k.a. no pets next door. Buyer Beware “Rewards” are a lieWe have spent thousands this year in hotel travel, booking through the hotels app every time. Every time we have been “logged in” and we have never, Not Once been able view or redeem our “free night” stamp which we are supposed to get for every 10th stay. When we click on the rewards widget, it redirects us to every other link but no data is available regarding the rewards program. The app did not used to operate like this in the past. Prior to 2020, we were able to easily navigate the app and utilize our rewards, which now seems to be changing every time we log in. The “rewards” program all over your commercials is now non-existent. Kinda seems illegal.
Our experience is not a great way to do business! We are unimpressed, to say the very least and considering legal action to say the most.

First time stayThis was our first time staying at the Sheridan Fallsview and it was absolutely amazing. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the falls. The staff was very accommodating and kind courteous and knowledgeable. The location of the Fallsview hotel was close to everything that we needed to get to definitely recommend checking out the bird exhibit which is about a five minute walk from the hotel and as always, you have to check out the fireworks at night over Niagara Falls Falls. Rough and stressful experienceLast week my wife and I drove to the California Bay Area to visit friends. We tried multiple times to reserve our room and redeem one of our free rooms using the phone app. We only use one credit card just for this purpose but trying to use the card, we were given an onscreen response of you guys being unable to accept our card. Called the bank and was told there was no issue with our card (which we knew). Tried to call you guys again and was told it was not you guys problem and was told to check our cache, clear our history or that the problem was the bank. We were even hung up on. Called the bank again now getting desperate we’d be trying to sleep in our car. Excellent service from the bank. We were advised to re-enter the same exact card disregarding what showed in your files on the screen. Voila, it worked this time like it was supposed to. The next day we were driving home and booked another room using the new procedure of re-adding the same exact card. The booking went through but there was a street festival in Buellton California and the streets were closed around the hotel. No information was indicated in the app but we eventually found the hotel through the assistance of some people setting up the street fest. Very disappointed with you guys but it seems there is always hoops to jump through for some reason. No happy with you guys and would suggest other options for others. The app is useless and so is the customer supportTried to book a hotel using a gift card- first of all it only lets you use up to 200 dollars on a gift card per booking, and you have to go through the trouble yourself to merge them all onto one card. i did that, and then every time i try to book through the app it gives me an error message telling me there was something wrong with my form, and to check the highlighted fields. however when i double, triple, even quadruple check the form, there are NO highlighted fields, and everything is filled out correctly.
so i tried to contact customer support, and that was a NIGHTMARE. they make it practically impossible to find a phone number to contact, and i still haven’t found one. if you use the chatbot to try and get help for this problem, it tells you it can’t help, and offers to get an agent to chat with you. then if you say yes to that, it prompts you to sign in, even if you are already. once you sign it it brings you right back to the beginning, where you have to talk to the chatbot, and this kept happening in what felt like an infinite loop.
miraculously, somehow (i really have no idea how), i got in touch with an agent through the chat, not even by phone, who offered to simply make the booking for me, but told me he couldn’t get me the discounted rate you could get through the app, and that the reason my app might not have been working is because the booking is “so far out” (it was only 8 months out). i still have not been able to successfully book through the app..ZekeScarlettVersion: 2023.49.1
Poor functionalityWith the latest update, this app has become almost unusable. “(Message”. Too many requests)” pops up when simply trying to open the app. The main loading screen freezes and stays, forcing me to close the app and restart regularly. “Sorry we could not connect to Hotels servers” And other error messages pop up when trying to complete simple tasks. All of these are happening in areas of good cell service. When issues arise I always check the functionality of other applications to make sure the issue isn’t rooted in a blanketing lack of reception. When I am able to login with my user name, the map function is buggy. Zooming in is almost impossible. Every time my finger leaves the screen it zooms back out. When I can finally select a hotel, and go to confirm payment I’m logged out of my user name and cannot log in via the app. I’m taken to the desktop version and forced to sign in and book there. Which is obviously a pain with the entire function for this application being created in the first place is to make it easier for mobile use on the go. Ive booked somewhere around 500 hotels in the last 10years of my life through this app and for the first time I’m considering, switching to a competing booking application. Was not satisfied with my stay I left a day earlyThe hotel was not clean, there were several dead bugs throughout the room. The first room they assigned to me smell so badly like smoke it was burning my eyes. The noise level from the pool and the construction going on was intolerable. I requested a room change due to the cigarette stench. They moved me across the hall to another room that was not very clean. The bedside lamp didn’t not work and the outlets were not working . The room had a bad smell not like the cigarette smoke but stale and unpleasant. There was a fight event being held there that night so when I came back from the night out there was no parking , I had to walk very far in a fairly dark parking lot. The door entering the building from the side lot was broken so anyone could have just walked in. Major safety concerns. I don’t get much sleep that night because when the fight was out there was a lot of lingering in the parking lot directly outside my window and it went on for a long time. In the morning I decided to get my things together and check out 1 day early the guy at the front desk told me because I didn’t give 24 hours notice that I won’t be refunded. I’ve stayed in Gettysburg more than 10 times per year for the last 2 years and that was the worst experience with safety concerns, uncleanliness, poor service and disregard for the issues stated . No consistencyEverytime I stay here I have a different experience. And at this point I may as well stay somewhere else that will consistency.
If you are renting rooms have someone walk them and make sure all the appliances and fixtures are working. And if they are not, notify the resident and make a proper accommodation. I’m tired of booking rooms here that advertise one thing and when I get here the appliances don’t work. No one says anything. You guys have me checking into rooms and paying fees a deposits and the basic appliances don’t work. Why do I have to notify you of those things? Because no one walked the unit before I checked in. The washer and dryer was broke, the dishwasher was broke, the freezer was broke, the tv was broke. The hot tub randomly came on by itself throughout the day. Only thing that worked was the fireplace and the bathroom. The microwave was dirty. The hot tub was dirty. The reservation was for two days, I didn’t notice most until my first night was over. Why complain for one night? I just feel like the Palms is going down hill as far as service is concerned. I had $300 is deposits and resort fees for two days….for what? Nothing in the unit worked? Then I have to wait 7 days to get my refund. I just think you can offer better service. This trip was very disappointing and this will probably be my last stay at this place. No loyalty!! Not HUMANI’ve been with this company over 12 years. I used their platform exclusively to book my travel even overseas. I earned loyalty rewards as a gift that were taken back! How do you take back an earned gift? Literally 10 days past a ridiculous deadline during Christmas season. Terrible. I was prompted to download the app while searching a new reservation and discovered they’d converted my reward to a new “ONE KEY CASH” system. I searched for a reservation, couldn’t locate the hotel I wanted, came back 2 weeks later, reward VANISHED. No banner warning that the CASH would expire in I .e., *3 days *10 days. Almost as if they were hoping I’d not use my earned cash for being loyal. They DID however have notices of my expiring loyalty tier — I .e., silver, Gold etc —- on each booking page asking to book before Dec 30th, 2023. It’s Dec 24th. I chatted, emailed, searched with this company just to get blanket rigid computer responses stating nothing they can do to help a loyal customer. Warning: DO NOT have a medical emergency that stops you from traveling during recovery. This company doesn’t care. My mom had a stroke July 1st 2022. We had no capacity or thought for travel while caregiving. They’ve refused assistance from management or to extend even a few days. So much for loyalty on their part. Lowered ExpectationsI had to reclean the room myself and it took 45 minutes to find someone to put soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Not the first time I’ve come across a hotel where soap dispensers are left unfilled - I’m just going to start bringing my own. At breakfast, a staff member got into a loud argument on her cell phone and could be heard all over the dining room. The sheets were clean, which was the most important thing. (Don’t laugh - I checked into a hotel recently that had made up the bed with stained, dirty/used sheets and I immediately checked back out!) The front desk staff was not professionally dressed, and that girl was also on her cell phone most of times I saw her, two of which she had ducked down behind the desk in an effort to not be seen. The hospitality industry has taken a nosedive since Covid and this is about the level of comfort we can expect now. Other hotels where I have stayed have been equally unpleasant, just in different ways. I hate traveling now and avoid it unless I have a really compelling reason to go. The last place I stayed was $265 a night and the hallway carpets apparently had not been vacuumed in an age. They were completely littered in debris. It was gross. Welcome to the new (ab)normal. The Whitney InnI was advertised a hotel and booked it based on the rating and pictures shown. We checked in at about 6pm and were immediately put off by location of place. It seemed more of motel not a hotel. We were given room106 and it went downhill from there. Room smelled damp almost moldy, The television barely worked and got only 6 channels, bathroom had bugs and was disgusting, add random pubic hairs left in the shower and on the floor was cringe worthy. The bathroom window was unable to be locked and had a wooden stick that left a space where you could push past to get in through the bathroom.( unsafe, Unsecured) I actually jammed a bar of soap in between gap to jam window shut!!! It gets worse!!! Water has two temperatures scalding hot and freezing ice water, No In-between!!! The bed (mattress) was stained brown and disgusting, bed was hard and uncomfortable, I noticed that sheets were scratchy and I felt itchy!! My poor Wife was completely skeeved out!!! That was until we saw blanket that had ejaculate stains all over!! We threw it on the floor using a clothes hanger. Worst place ever even front door had trouble closing!! Road noise all night, no sleep and unsafe, I thought my car would get broken into!! I can’t believe you ad a company charged me for this, and if I could give negative stars on ratings I would. Hampton Inn Troy MichIt is difficult for me to write this review because in all honesty, I usually only leave positive reviews. But…given our experience of 2 sleepless nights I felt compelled to do so. We were on the second floor for two nights and were awaken at 1 am-2:30 and again around 6a with loud, continuous, rambunctious, running around and jumping (assuming off beds) non stop. After 30 minutes of hoping it would end, we called the front desk to ask for help…maybe a call to room to settle down a bit? After another 20 minutes, my husband went down to the front desk. He was told, “…they just got in, they have small children, “I’m sure you understand.” Then offered, “if it doesn’t get better, we can move you”. Move us? At now 2am, we would need to pack up and move? Still at least 20 minutes later…no break in the action. As an aside…we love kids. Have our own and are from large families. It’s not about the children…it’s about the property manager who couldn’t/wouldn’t reason with the parents to “settle it down a bit”…OR MOVE THEM, so they could run around all night if that’s what they do. Aside from leaving frustrated and exhausted, the place is clean and the cleaning crew works incredibly hard. They should be recognized. Desk management…do better please..HooszerVersion: 2024.24.1
Worst customer serviceI have been using this app for years. I used it to take all my trips to get a free nights. I had 27 bookings and when they transitioned to one key I never got credited. I contacted support they told me they expired and didn’t transfer. I simply asked for them back or to be changed to new system. I was told they could not credit them back. But then they offered to credit me $35. So they had just told me they could not credit and then off to add money. I tried to negotiate and explained that I would have had a lot more in credits than $35 with the amount of stays and my average booking being at or $100 this would have given me around $270 in one key cash. But because they expired and then they didn’t transition I just loose those. I told her $35 was not worth it you cannot use to book anything I would stay in for that price. It’s not worth the effort to make these companies better at support. The only thing we can do is spread the word about these missed opportunities on the company side and spread the word and use other services. I used to like this service but will never recommend using and will go out of my way to let anyone know never to use this app to book. Poor customer service they use scripted replies and AI. They are not really willing to try to help they just want to get you out the system. If you allow your employees to take care of your customers you will get more business. Offering services such as rewards programs and incentives to get people to use your app is great but when you cannot homer these services just remove them. Dr Rene Clarence CaynanIt’s very unfortunate to have stayed in this hotel. The restroom was so filthy with bad smell that there was a lot of black stuff in the wall area where you take a shower. The Soap holder was broken and was not even replaced or fixed. I spotted 2 roaches on the hallway one in our bathroom. While using the coffee lounge, I accidentally broke the glass of the the unscrewed, unsecured coffee table. I told the staff that it was an accident because of the location of the coffee table. I was told to pay P500 for the glass that broke. Glad that the broken glass did not cut my foot skin. Also we had several guests on our last day in Batangas City. The manager called me and said that the guests are only allowed 10 minutes to stay or we will be charged extra fee for overstaying guests. Also upon checking we were told by the staff that if we stained or soiled the bedsheets, we will pay P350 per stain per incident. We stayed a total of 7 days in this dirty hotel only to be told that our relatives and guests can only stay for 10 minutes to bid goodbye to me and my wife. My wife and I would not recommend to Balikbayans from USA and other countries. Pay more and you can stay and Wyndham, Days Hotel. We are very sorry that we stayed in this unemotional staff hotel. Not a good stay for a Marriott.We were on an 8 day stay and we got house keeping only one time which we had to ask for it. The kitchen was dirty and the dishes looked like they were put away dirty. The refrigerator had food dried all over it. I had to clean the kitchen top to bottom including dishes before we could even use it. There was something really sticky on the carpet next to the bed that I didn’t realize was there until I stepped on it and pulled my sock off my foot. We had to go down every other to get fresh towels because of the lack of house keeping. At one point we had 12 sets of towels on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was the same every morning consisting of microwaved sausage patties and microwaved egg patty things. No potatoes or bacon or even a waffle iron. They have only one two slice toaster that took 5 minutes to toast. The staff was friendly. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. I would have went to another hotel but every hotel that had a kitchen was booked and didn’t want to get charged for cancellation fees. Going back to Expedia.Been using for 6 years. Gold level most months so I know how to use it and how to book and apply my rewards nights. Somehow magically after applying my free night and an extra night at regular price and submitting payment I was logged out of the system so it charged me full price and no free night which expires soon ( the only reason I'm using it.) I called and talked to 3 over seas reps, super hard to comunicate with, I was able to get a supervisor, just another waste of time, again I made a reservation "out of the system" and that's all I could get out of them, yet the app knew my credit cards, my info, my reward nights and of course I got the email with the conf # all of this while, according to them doing it without logging in, I tried to explain all this to all the reps to no avail, they could not do anything for me except to use my free night some other day so I'm stuck paying almost unplanned $500 and no one can do crap forme. Calling my bank see if that can just cancel the charge booking my free night only and dropping this clowns. I've easily booked close to 200 nights if not more and not once I've needed help, and the one time I get terrible customer service and useless options. Not worth the hassle. Horrible does not begin to describe our experience..After a long day of driving from Florida we tried to settle at the Wyndham, there was no warning online that the hotel was under construction, including our room which was prepared to get bathroom tiles, with enough dust to trigger an asthma attack, so we turned on the moldy, incredibly loud, air conditioning unit, then things got worse. Thinking a cold beverage would help we went in search of an ice machine, 3 were either not working or removed for construction, went to the bar which was open when we checked in, but had closed, although the employees were meeting in the lounge, they would not help us. Finally found a working machine (and others searching for ice) on an upper floor. Went back to the room and pulled down the sheets only to find they were stained with the bodily fluids of past guests. Housekeeping was gone for the evening, with no help available. We decided to leave, they offered to move us to another room, also under construction, but we finally just checked out at midnight and moved to the lovely Hilton Garden Inn down the road. Hotel canceled my reservation & I was still chargedIncredibly rude hotel clerk and manager treated prior customer horribly in front of myself and another guest after she asked a simple question about extending her stay one additional night. He then snapped at me that he would be with me as soon as he was done with her. When I walked up to the counter, he started snapping at me again because I had my license and not my husband’s license in hand. He rudely got louder and told me in a super abrasive voice that it was their policy and pointed to the man next to him that had also snapped at the prior customer and belittled her, stating he was his manager. I had to walk back to the car to get his i.d., asked when motel 6 started requiring i.d. for both occupants, and came back with his license. The manager then snapped that he was canceling my reservation, and printed out a cancellation after I insisted I needed a receipt showing that HE canceled my reservation, he wrote “canceled (atitude)” on my receipt, and I had to ignore his misspell to calmly walk out. I have now been calling and trying to get a refund for two days. We drove 15 hours, I have extremely bad arthritis, was in excruciating pain, chose this hotel half an hour out of our way because they had a walk in shower that is easier for me to step into, and were pet friendly, as I had my service dog with me. I was treated horrifically and am still trying to get a refund. Absolutely horrible app, that has no option for a HOTEL cancellation, billed me the full amount despite requesting customer service help, and still no progress. Unacceptable. You stole my moneyMy family was involved in a car accident yesterday in Los Angeles. I had to hurry to make a hotel reservation. I thought I made a reservation but when I got the confirmation, it said it was for the 17th. I tried multiple times to get the reservation cancelled via the chat assistant since that is the only way you allow it to be done now but I could never get anyone to come to the chat. I tried calling the hotel to they told me I had to do it through the app and that they couldn’t cancel it. I was in the process of dealing with my three kids in the hospital, emergency room and dealing with the accident and insurance, etc. I could not sit on the chat forever waiting for something to happen. There were times that I waited for 20 or more minutes for someone or something to answer on the chat to cancel my reservation so I couldn’t make another one, but no one ever showed up. You charged my card and I could not use the reservation at all. So you cost me money for no reason at all when my reservation should have just been canceled since I tried to cancel it within of the reservation being placed. Glitchy app and terrible customer serviceI’ve been using the app for a while and have been unable to change my password, despite repeated attempts. The app says it sends me an email to reset the password, but I never receive it. It doesn’t go to my spam folder. The app continuously keeps me logged in, but for some reason during my last booking, it logged me out and created a new guest account. I had already collected seven stamps and expected the booking to count towards my original seven stamps. But since it created a guest account, the digital customer service agent said she couldn’t help me and could not credit the stamps to my original account. I called customer service and received an email a few days later. They basically blamed it on me for not being logged on (I have no control over the app glitching) and refused to credit the stamps. Furthermore, they instructed me on how to create a permanent account, which I quite clearly no how to do, considering I’ve used my permanent account for seven bookings. Beyond frustrating. Intermittent issues logging inI always set my app to stay logged in but once in a while it would kick me out and ask me to log back in ( enter user ID and pwd). The problem is when I enter my login info it keeps saying incorrect login but I can use the same login info on the website just fine. I even requested for new pwd reset and the issue still happens >.< so frustrating. The only way I am ever able to resolve it is to uninstall then reinstall the app again. So much time wasted!! I want to use the app vs the web bc its "supposed" to be easier to access. I love it when it works but it's becoming annoying after this has happened 2-3 times already.
Do not bother calling their support bc they have no idea how the app works, they ask for my hotel confirmation # (?!? not sure why that's even relevant) after explaining to them 3 different ways that I need to talk to IT or someone who can help with their App. they could not offer any help. Be careful!!!Please be careful if you stay here. Triple check your receipts. The general manager was allowed to change my rate at check in for a reservation I made 4 weeks prior to the holiday weekend. Hilton Honors customer service spoke with the manager and emailed him proof of what he did. They advised him to reverse it. The money was taken out of my account immediately. Now I’m having to fight to get reimbursed. The general manager put a note on my account saying I had to provide proof. He decided to leave work and not check his email for the proof from Hilton Honors. So me and my family were forced to sit in the lobby at 11 pm because of somebody with a very unprofessional and spiteful attitude. I chose this brand because I have always had the best stays at any Hilton hotel. I stayed at this hotel less than 3 weeks ago. And it was perfect!! That’s why I chose to stay again. The App is great butCustomer service is so important and there is no way to leave feedback on how badly the quality has become for CS. Clearly the company seems to be hiring many overseas employees and it shows! I’m having to explain myself multiple times, and wasting a lot of time waiting for simple resolutions. For example today I was chatting for over an hour! All I needed is an updated receipt showing the correct transaction numbers. That’s all! I sent screenshots they didn’t look at and I got irrelevant information that I already knew and didn’t want to hear again because it was faulty. I told them I have a receipt numbers are wrong here’s the proof and their reply is let me show you how you can print out the receipt 🤔🤔🤔🤔 after I told them I already have one and it’s wrong.
The app needs to offer a way we can provide feeds back and do surveys after each session with customer service. No way they will improve the quality of this nonsense continues to happen.

RunTrying to talk to customer service has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I called in four separate times because twice the agent hung up on me when they didn’t understand my question instead of just telling me they didn’t know, after taking several minutes for me to have to spell out my email. The third time the girl had someone in the background telling her how to reply to me (I’m assuming she was in training) but then she said she needed my user ID, and when I asked where I could find that on either the app or website they couldn’t tell me. I said “okay, well that’s no problem but can you just tell me if it’s possible to get instant gold status like you advertise online?” I was told they could not answer that question for security reasons...lol!!! The fourth time I called and asked how to get instant gold status the guy responded with variations of “Do you need to book a hotel?” ????? Will never book another hotel through this company because I can only imagine the nightmare of calling in if something went wrong. Can’t seem to view properties sent to meMy wife tried sending me a link to a hotel she’d found. It made me install the app to view it. There was a note about it copying the destination so I could see it after I installed the app, but nothing like that has worked. Even trying the link she sent again after I installed the app, it just opens the app up to the main screen. That’s useless. Why can’t you just have links shared out of the app take people to your webpage? This service started as a webpage! At the top of the webpage you can have a banner that opens the content in the app, like just about every other service I use on this phone. In the end my wife sent me a link to the property on a completely different service, which seems like the opposite of what you want. Even trying to search for the property on here with the big search box on the main page it seems to not let me without putting in dates and things. This has been a terrible user experience, and then the app popped up a box asking me to rate it after 2 or 3 actions on my part and just a minute or two of use. UnsatisfactoryI booked my stay with Wyndham Kingsgate in Williamsburg VA when I got there the gate keeper could not find my reservation sent me to the desk. I go in and try to find my reservation with them I showed them my confirmation and nothing is in their computer. I showed them hotels took my money also. Liars. Cheats. Do not book with these people. Go direct to the hotel.If you ever try to cancel a reservation or change it to one less day, good luck! The ladies in the Philippines will try to wear you down with phones they claim don’t work and they will insist that they must waste the poor front desk person’s time to “approve” a refund. Then after they spend hours of your time saying they can’t refund your money, they will finally get a hold of the front desk (most likely only if you are there to personally watch the front desk person receive the call). Then they will have their “approval” but they will tell you that you need to call back the next morning to get your refund. You will spend hours and your blood will boil because you can’t believe they think they can get away with such poor service. This is false economy at its best. Don’t get sucked into their scam if you value your time more than about $1/hour. Someone should file a class action lawsuit against these practices, but where? Bad process, no starWhen searching for hotels in Santa Barbara, there were not many hotels that met the criteria because we had dogs and because we booked on the same day. We chose one of the hotels automatically recommended by the app and placed an order. However, when navigating, we found that it was not in santa barbara but near a Danish town, which did not match our plan. We contacted the hotel right away to get the room back. The hotel said that it was booked through a third party, and you need to find a third party, that is, hotels. We immediately contacted the customer service of the hotels. The customer service said that we needed to contact the hotel and asked us to wait online for 5 minutes. Then he said that for those who have not contacted the hotel, let us wait for the email for 72 hours. We called the hotel again and she said the manager needed to be contacted again. We drove directly to Santa barbara and booked a hotel from hotels. The next day, we contacted the hotels again and said that the money had been withdrawn from their system because we did not go to the hotel. This is so infuriating..CdocemployeeVersion: 22.49
Beyond stupidWhen I made my account, regarding my email address, I selected the “hide my email” option that Apple provides. However, for some idiotic reason, when booking, and when entering an email address is required, there isn’t the same option to “hide my email”, let alone to ensure that it’d be the same “hidden email” so as to ensure that the booking is synced with one’s account. Point being, for a trip that I’ve recently booked, to see my itinerary, I must ALWAYS enter my actual email address along with the booking number, despite the fact that I BOOKED THE TRIP VIA MY HOTELS ACCOUNT. To top it off, there is no option to sync it to your account, and customer service is abysmally useless in helping amend the situation.
**Edited to add** the useless customer service rep didn’t have the sense to recommend what turned out to be the simplest fix that I could find: changing my email address for the app to the one that I used in the booking. Bug - hotels that force pre-paymentSome hotels, eg the NH chain in europe, have an option where it’s a cheaper rate if you pay in advance (still refundable). If I select that rate, I get taken to a blank checkout page.
This bug doesn’t occur if I choose a hotel’s non-refundable rate.

Ramada Medicine HatThis is the worst experience I have had in a hotel for as long as I can remember. I would not recommend that you even consider it. The property it self is in poor condition with half finished work all over the exterior. The card access to our room had to be redone three times and when that didn’t work the front desk clerk had to come and let us in. He was very pleasant and was eager to help. Tried to shower but there was no hot water, turned the tap on but nothing came out, the bath and shower looked to be original and quite old. Ramada is awfulA few years back we stayed at a Ramada in downtown Vancouver and ended up stuck in the elevator for over an hour, there was no source of communication as the elevator would start to move and then suddenly drop down a few feet without warning. The hotel was noisy and smelled horrible, no refund given aside from free parking.
Most recently I stayed at the Ramada Abbotsford, the picture are deceiving, the first room had bdbugs on the pillow visible from the doorway, the next room had a horrible draft, some dead bugs (but not bedbugs) and the firedoors kept slamming every 20-30 min until 12:30/1 am. Hot tub and sauna were out of commission it was dirty and gross. Again, no refund available as it was prepaid. No response from the hotel or Hotels.com.
