Great siteThank you for newly the updated website. I had lots of problems with the old version. For a long time I couldn't information when touching the earthquake site. Now the site is great again. There are more options of viewing and that makes easier for me. I only have one question. What happened to the Arctic? Antarctica is shown..Version: 2.2

The maps make all the differenceBeautiful job combining maps, great graphics, and the latest earthquake data from around the world. I agree with the other reviewer that you should be able to click straight through from the list to the map, but that's the only thing I can think of that this program is missing. Nice startDecent repackaging of USGS earthquake locations in past 24 hours. Map is rather slow in responding to pans and zooms on a good wi-fi connection-would worry on EDGE if this pulls map data over net, as it seems to do.. Lack of detail at broader map scales (e.g. Western U.S.) rather unappealing-could add major faults, for instance. Twitter and google news searches are rather lame (only search on single keyword "earthquake"? Cmon can do a little better). Zoom to current location can be a bit annoying as chosen scale may be too close to see quakes in range. Would be nice to see indication of proximity of quakes to either current location or saved location in map list. Outside U.S., coverage spotty as threshold for inclusion in USGS reports is higher (there are other organizations that report quakes to a lower level elsewhere)..Version: 0
Great application!This is a great application that does exactly what it is intended to do. The latest version allows for going from a quake entry within the list to viewing the specific location on the map. I also appreciate the “locate me” feature to see what quakes have occurred around me. I can see this being a VERY useful in the situation of a larger quake where I might not be by a computer. A feature request I have is to add an option to email the USGS page from the “Links” section on the quake info screen. Great job on this application!.Version: 0
Fears for the Worst !I've always been facinated with tracking Earthquakes. This App let's me glimpse where and when current Earthquakes occured. I see alot of small magnitude Earthquake occurances circled around where I live and it puts this fear that these several small tremors might one day become one giant one that's gonna cause devastation. I really like this...I don't live in an earthquake zone, I got this app for my own curiosity. I like the map part, showing you were the earthquake occurred. I also like the listing that, if you click on it, will change to the map exactly where the earthquake occurred. My only problem is that this is the first app to actually lock up my iphone..Version: 0
A great EQ reference...Cool app. One suggestion for the next update. I would like to be able to go from a quake on the EQ list to it's location on the map. Right now you can click on a quake on the map to take you to it's info on the list, but not the other way around. At least not that I have found yet..Version: 0

UPDATE - FIXED, Works Fine, Author kept me informed"Maps suddenly stopped working after a couple of years OK." Now fixed. I reported to author (Andrew) and he ID'd problem with service that he gets maps from. He said he would fix. Now, a couple of weeks later, Andrew emails me to say he fixed. I re-installed and all is fine. How about that service! I have experimented with a number of earthquake apps and find this the best, easiest to use, includes time since event. Frustrating lack of featuresUpdate 1/2/11 its been over a year since I rated this app and since I see no improvements, I'm deleting it in favor of a much better app with useful push notifications. <<>><><><<>><>> I have been waiting for a program like this and willingly paid the price for this app, but the app comes only frustratingly close to being awesome. I hope to soon see at least the following improvements: -ability to go from quake on list to quake's location on map -pin drop on location of my choosing so I can gauge quakes within a range if that pound -ability to search for "earthquake" + the location of the quake and date. Current search feature would only work for a major earthquake. -much better map controls -more earthquake info provided on the map. Rather than just intensity, show location, date, time, and distance from my drop-pin location. I support the developers' work and urge them to keep at this, to improve it. I considered purchasing Quakeinfo but I'm holding out because I think this could be the best one if the developers take our suggetions seriously..Version: 1.3
