Perhaps it's the formula used by nature herself when creating coral reefs, seahorses, elephants, ferns, and the plethora of familiar organic shapes revealed in a Mandelbrot zoom. This app is fantastic! The colors: Vibrant. The zooms go into infinity. None of the 'crashes' one experiences in some of the lesser fractal generators out there. I LOVE it! Very good appI really like this fractals generator, but I give it four stars for now as I wish these improvements can be made: - larger resolution of the saved images, it's even less than the iPad's screen, and you won't be able to use it on your computers desktop of course, too small. I wish that when you save the fractal to the photo album, it would render it at higher resolution. Also, use PNG instead of JPG, otherwise the beautiful image gets distorted with JPG compression. - fill the black color in the fractal shapes with the one from the palette, otherwise some fractals look a bit gloomy. - more fractal models! Very little controlAs an artist, I was hoping for more options. There is no way to change out the black to any other color than black, and the rest of the colors only offer a slider and not color numbers that you can assign. Fractals not worth it for schoolsAttention educators, This app is one that I would not recommend for schools. After an examination of the entire app I do not think that buying this app is a necessary thing to do for schools. The app does not offer the students to much options becuase it soley focuses on creating images and manipulating fractal equations. This is not a teaching device because there is no way to determine if a student has done a task correctly and the students are not given feedback by the app itself. The students can explore their images and save them into an album, but that is the only evidence the app can provide of student work. Computers can do all the tasks this app does and I think that the money it would take to but this app would not be worth. Hope this helps you all when you are deciding whether or not to buy this..StvRogVersion: 2.0
