The clarity, the speed of the videos sound qualities are all five star. There are a couple suggestions I would like to make, however number one for on screen performance they used to be the three dots at the end of the title area when you’re looking at the review of the video before you start it those dots are gone and those critically allowed you to save the video to the watch later list and several other functions, but you can no longer do that without having your phone connect it up, which isn’t always practical so please put that that capability back on the screen. It would be appreciated. Secondly, can you give a few more seconds like 10 more when you scroll down when a video is on to see what the other shows are before it automatically shuts off and goes back up to the video that gives me more time to read and research what it is and if I want to see it. Thirdly and I’m not sure anything will happen on this one, but I watch a lot of the world news and events that are occurring and this making. Youtubers, who provide videos and news reporting from the front quit making them cut their videos short because you think viewers are going to be upset. That is not the case. People want to see what’s going on you need. to allow people to know the evils that Russia is doing in regards to Ukraine, the human rights violations in countries like China, North Korea, and quit making it virtually impossible for people to learn the truth of what’s going on in the world.

A while, back friends of mine that I was just being acquainted with some of my stories. They’re very colorful and insane. Have a channel out there cause even my stories are very immersive. So for like happy year I had a video that were not publicly available ones worked little little worse. I watched myself over and over. Then I would allow someone to watch it and tell me their feedback on. I decide January 1 which is horrible idea because it’s so cold and my supposed to be done outside. And I put up some videos and they’re not even really the way I want them done they’re kind of in the middle, but not quite well published but they’re not my other ex extreme, which is one shot edit no edits to accents happen great.. I don’t know if it’s a glitch, but like a lot of views the other day and it doubled and it might not be nothing out for me. I think that’s crazy. Don’t listen to me just make me more enthusiastic now put more out there and I discovered that I really do like making music even if it’s through a simple I do enjoy the whole thing. It’s my mental therapy. A lot of people so I talked to the camera as if possibly I could put There gives me that sense of commodity with humanity and I would say about .1% of the video ever deleted over and over and over I’m only doing it for myself but wanna hear a little bit thank you and I want all kinds of feedback positive and whatever. I think AI technology is making you tube smarter and more efficient than every before the goal is to outsmart the algorithm which might seem impossible because the algorithm operates in a different way than the human mind it could possible take years and that’s a big if becuase there are so many distractions and so much to see billions of videos possibly more who knows??? However I know no rather I think that if a person watches only Islamic positive videos and avoids negative sinful content for a period of time then the person might Be able to outsmart the algorithm and again this is a big if and now the good news of a person somehow someway outsmarts the algorithm then You Tube for that person on that individual personalized account will change into something different You Tube might change into Halal Tube and start giving Dawah to that person which means every video that person sees will not be inappropriate but rather will be Appropriate and positive and the suggestions will also be positive and appropriate however that can only happen if you defeat the algorithm which is very hard May Allah Help All You Tubers make You Tube Islamic and family friendly and I think with artificial intelligence this might be achievable if we work hard enough and resist tempting sinful videos that offer no benefit at all just a temporary fleeting pleasure and no happiness I like to end with a statement we’ve all heard we are what we eat which is true however in this digital age you are what you watch and what you read also positivity in positivity out negativity in negativity out

I really like it since it has so many options and it’s generally a great thing, and without it would be bad and weird especially on weekends since that’s when I watch it most. But recently it updated and made it so that when you watch a video and click on all the videos made by that channel, it shows the longest videos instead of the most recent ones. And it says “recently uploaded” but I hate it a lot. I cannot see anything new that person has made unless I search up “____ newest videos” and that won’t work either because the search thing is weird though I’m fine with the search. Also, you can’t report videos anymore (even tho I don’t have 2 report videos) and that’s just wrong. The more updates that come means the less I will actually use the app bc I have no idea how to do anything on it anymore. I don’t know why nobody else has talked about this because it’s the closest thing to making me stop using this. I understand if devs want bug fixes and stuff, but this one thing is terrible. Please get rid of this and bring back the line of videos when you click “videos” on someone’s channel, it was infinitely easier to find what vid you want. Ex: I want to watch their recent video. a button for that. I want to watch their oldest video. A button for that. I want to watch their most popular videos. A button for that. And now it’s just the longest videos in the “newest videos” section. Summary: the new update is garbage, please bring back the old page for “videos” on someone channel. Please.

I graduated from Colorado school for the Deaf, June 4, 1990. My bad experiences for last over 32 years. Throughout, 5 states, where, I used to live before, Idaho, North Dakota, Illinois, Colorado, and California. Violent my these rights, including department of rehabilitation and deaf services. California is the one top violent my rights, Fresno DHHSC (deaf hard of hearing speech center) refused to listen my violent rights for over 2 decades. For example, 3 hospitals including Clovis hospital, Fresno hospital, and Saint Agnes hospital. My primary doctor referred to those for my health issues, which, those clinic refused provided me an interpreter and or VRI (voice relayed interpreter). My mom Judi have to interpreter for me throughout those state and federal failures to me. It’s against laws for using my mom to interpreter without state provided. I complaining to DHHSC many many times, state of services refused to listen. I been through college 4 times, which not successful for me through lack of interpreter problems. Few years ago, my last hope that DOR (department of rehabilitation) my counselor named Devin Puente, opened my case again. DOR pay to Advance career institute welding program around $13,000 for 36 weeks, guess what? No interpreter showed up for 3 days, I withdrew welding program. I’m very struggling with my Deaf and ADA rights throughout over 32 years. My mom, Judi witness all kinds of issues, why? My mom is hearing and I’m deaf since birth. Thank you

I am surprised at the percentage of 5-star ratings for this app which I find substandard especially given that the service is owned by Google. It is indeed cluttered and has an unnecessarily steep learning curve, but let’s be a little specific too. Among its (numerous) problems, if one searches for and saves a group of videos already packaged as a playlist — course lectures, say — it will appear as a playlist in your collection but not on the list of playlists accessed from the menu by which a new but related video could be added to it. Such a video, even though it would be most usefully seen in the context of the original collection, must be placed in a new playlist. Do they really need to protect the integrity of the original playlist? More: if a video download is (inadvertently?) deleted, the item stays on the list and is streamable for sure, but any attempt to re-download it fails, even though “Download again” is a menu item — and even if recaptured anew through a search and saved, it is recognized as the one previously deleted and will still fail to download. Mind you, I do have the Premium service. This is not to mention the sometimes excruciatingly slow download speeds for some videos. This is undoubtedly the consequence of poor bandwidth of the hosting server, not the fault of the app, BUT the app contributes to the problem by not fully supporting downloading when closed — even when it is open in the background, it is significantly slower. This almost forces you to keep the app open and in the foreground for the duration of a long download. A serious waste of my time. I’ll stop here, but only out of psychic fatigue.

If this app says it’s 17+ aka Mature M Rated by ESRB (I am 9 and I watch appropriate videos) just why is there like SpongeBob SquarePants PAW PATROL JUST WHY IS THERE PAW PATROL?!?!?! I was diagnosed with MCI in 2019 by my PCP. He referred me to Neurologist in December 2025 because of worsening of MCI. After Neurologist at PARADIGM, he reviewed all my recent bloodwork from my PCP and Rheumatologist, gave me similar clinical memory, motor, and balance Tests, a brain MRI, EEG, and had his on-site Labcorp Lab draw my blood for the new FDA Approved Lumipulse Beta Amyloid 42 and pTau217 blood test, after he reviewed everything he had me come back in and told me I tested high for Beta Amyloid Plaques and pTau217 tangles in my blood and brain. He diagnosed me with MCI due to Alzheimer’s Disease, not dementia. He discussed my medication options, where he could only recommend Donepezal because the FDA approved medications that removed plaques could not be done on me because I was on Beta Blockers because I am a heart attack and stroke risk after having 3 TIAs. My right Eye Retina and arteries had embolisms in 2 of 3 arteries and an existing plaque of unknown origin or causes, it damaged the upper part of that retina that is a dark rain cloud. Since I forget short term memory stuff told to me within minutes later and for days and when I recall such things I have everything confused. Anyway, this was a very good utube experience

This app is so much better than TikTok in my opinion, you have short form videos and long form, all by different creators! The shorts features are impressively convenient for major scrolling sessions! And the long form videos are great to watch if you are cleaning your room, or just to watch and listen. There are hundreds of great creators who listen to their audience and have merch, and do giveaways, etc, etc. There are major news sites like CNN 10 and others who make videos on news and give their opinions on everything. Everything about the app I feel like is made to make the consumer feel happy and enjoy using the app. There is a algorithm that is custom to your enjoyment and your favorite creators. There is one, and only on problem I have with this app, it’s the ads! Now when I’m scrolling though shorts I don’t notice as much, but they’re still there. ITS THE LONG FORM VIDEOS FOR ME! They always have ads every 5 minutes it feels like! And it’s not like the 10 second ads that once you click skip, you can get back to your video, it’s like the 30+ seconds that you can’t skip, EVERY FIVE MINUTES!! My videos that I watch range from 20-30 minutes sometimes and I will get MULTIPLE 90+ ads that I can’t skip, and it really annoys me when all I want to is watch my video! I also watch hour+ videos and it always gives me a little pop up saying, “Fewer ads for this longer video” and it annoys me because it feels like the ads keep coming! There are also ads before you start watching the video, which I don’t mind those as much, but still they are annoying at times. Overall this is a great app for anything music, long form videos, shorts. Just about everything. Yes I understand I could buy no ads but I feel like it’s just getting out of hand with all the ads! These updates coming with a complete layout change are NOT accessibility friendly! I have eye problems and have low vision! Right as I think I’ve mastered how it’s set up and I DON’T need assistance with using the app, YOU CHANGE IT! I was just using the app 2 or 3 hours ago- finally used to the new layout- and now I’m back and it updated and it’s different AGAIN! I just spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out how to access my watch history because it’s 3am and no one is awake but me! So I have no one to help! I don’t care if it “looks nicer” or something! Stop changing it so much! Just update what is NECESSARY for the app to function! Every time you redo the layout or change where the buttons are or adjust how the screen looks, you are making it harder for your disabled users! People with vision disabilities like me who have to learn to see something in a specific way or have to use a voiceover to explain the screen, people with reduced mental capacity who struggle to learn new things, people with autism who need to do something multiple times to master it, even older people who just don’t have someone to teach them how to use the “new” app! There are so many people who use your app who cannot keep up with the constant changes! If it is not broken, DON’T CHANGE IT! The layout was FINE! And now it’s a new layout that me and so many other people are gonna struggle with! It’s not necessary to change how the app works every time it needs an update in its coding! Let it be! You’re not gonna make more money or something just because it “looks nicer!” Please stop changing the layout so much! Disabled people use your app and we need you to make it simple for us! It’s a very easy rule to follow: if it isn’t broken, don’t change it!

It’s bad enough there’s ads every couple of minutes but do they have to be so long. Also does there have to be an ad at the bottom of the screen so if you happen to grab your phone and tap it you get launched to your browser and load the ads website. At least ask us if we want to leave the app. Anyway ads shouldn’t be more than a minute unless it’s a music ad. You have some ads that are half an hour or longer which is just ridiculous. Update: you guys messed up the MiniPlayer… if I rewind on the MiniPlayer it pauses the video and either I have to wait for it to play again or I have to close the video, go to history and restart it… and then the sexually themed ads talking about my erection are annoying especially if I’m listening to a video and my son is around or anybody for that matter… update i don’t know what you did in the last updates but rewinding or pausing is messing up the videos. I rewind or pause and either the video won’t play or it plays without audio causing me to have to close it and play it from history… very annoying.

First off I’d just like to say I do love the app and everything it does for people, but some things are just absurd. For example the comment section is a BIG one for me and many others. It was fine before at the bottom of the screen. I understand that you’re trying to make it easier for us to access it but this was not one of them. It’s really frustrating when I forget sometimes that they have moved to see a little note at the bottom telling me they moved. If you knew people where gonna look there why move it? Also the thumbnails are way to big. I get you want to make them more appealing and make them stand out, but it was honestly fine before. I don’t know if this is accurate or not but before the enlargement of the thumbnails I felt like there were more videos to choose from. That’s just my perspective of it. Another thing is why so much demonetizing? I do understand that certain things need to be demonetized, like graphic images and excessive use of language. It just seems recently every little thing gets you demonetized nowadays even if a YouTuber uses a lot of foul language it gets demonetized. I personally don’t mind the use of the extreme language, but to demonetized so many people for simple mistakes or jokes using the curse words just seems abuse of power. There are many YouTubers that want to use curse words but feel uneasy in fear that their video will get taken down because of the strict guidelines or who have had to change their whole channel style to appease your needs. I understand that you’re trying to please a more younger audience but you’re also damaging the older audience as well. I think if you gave your content creators a bit more freedom they’d be happier and less scared to say things on camera. It’d also make the older audience a bit more happy too. To finally see our favorite creators be themselves.

It’s been very glitchy lately! And my complaint? Biggest, is you will take a reported/or struck vid down before reviewing it, then if it’s ok? Goes back up. But YT Should review FIRST! 2nd and most of all! YT will pull a video for practically nothing, or with Factual info! BUT! You will allow Vile and I mean VILE, VICIOUS, THREATENING and DOXXING, Putting out people’s information public or private, it’s still wrong! People going after kids! Lastly! The harassment and bullying of child victims parents 🤬🤬 this has actually led to a Creator getting a RO! Going to jail! Another Creator being called and accused of being a child predator! He’s NOT, proven, but when it’s persistently spread around YT streets? But I want to know when YT is going to change? Change and start protecting the Parents? And everyone actually! VICTIMS! Your TOS needs updating like yesterday! Also the censorship is horrible! We can do everything we do here on Rumble, other platforms and especially X and no censorship. Edit: Wish there weren’t quite so many ads required for the unpaid version, I can hardly get through a single video without having a commercial every five minutes-literally. Don’t try to watch asmr and cat nap, jump scares make it so unenjoyable. Some of them are forcing double back to back before you get through the first five minutes. I wish they weren’t requiring as many like the good ol days, and they wonder why people flocked to tick tock. Creators can’t move them around, can’t say certain words, some free speech. It is ridiculous because they have comments with links to dirty sites and I had an ad the other day that showed a woman leaned up against the wall with her bush out for the world to see. Some ads are for phony sites like that knock off Kay Jewelers, but we get them stuffed down our throats with no way to skip them. I watch longer videos (lots of podcasts and such) on the platform, so I often cast from my tablet to my tv, or vice versa, depending on if I’m settled down watching something, or if I’m cooking or doing chores as I watch. After a recent update, I can no longer start something on my tv and pick it up on my tablet/phone. Previously, if I opened the platform on my tablet/phone while something played on tv, my device would ask if I wanted to connect the two, and the video would appear on my tablet/phone. Even if it didn’t pick it up immediately, the cast button was available at the top of my tablet/phone screen, and I could complete the process manually. Now the cast button appears only in videos already playing on my tablet/phone, which means I can only start videos on those devices. It’s ultimately a small thing, but as it was a feature I used every day, it’s been an adjustment, and it is annoying. There’s a lot I could say about certain ads I see constantly, but as I’m not paying for the premium service, I get why I’m stuck with what I get.

Okay , so a while back i used to watch the film melanie martinez made . barely any ads . almost none at all . maybe like 3 the whole music film , but now when i watch there is ads in BETWEEN the music . its so frustrating trying to listen to it while ads keep playing throughout the whole thing . probably about 10 ads nn i havent even finished the music film yet . its also not just the film , whenever i click on a video there is ALWAYS an ad . literally every video i click on . i could be finished watching a video that just had an ad at the beginning of it , click on another one nn there are 2 ads . sometimes i can skip sometimes i cant . its super frustrating nn i see some other people in the reviews having these same problems . other than that this is a great app to socialize , have fun , make friends , nn make communities . i like that yu can brand merch on here , make videos about video games , make/upload music videos nn music on here , etc . i love this app . jst please cut down on the ads . it is literally infuriating . thank yu !

The video about the causation of the bald eagle population no longer existing on the Channel Islands in Southern California was very interesting. I had known about DDT causing eggs to develop soft shells and breaking while being incubated, but I didn’t know what species or where. The eagles on the Channel Islands were eating fish, other sea life, and other inhabitants of the islands contaminated by the dumping of DDT into the ocean. Even 8 years after the discontinued use of DDT it’s by products were still causing a problem. After a law suit against the manufacturer of DDT & clean up they began reintroducing juvenile eagles back onto the islands with the eagles successfully growing, mating, & producing more bald eagles. There are now about 60 bald eagles living on the islands. We need to make sure our endangered wildlife are safe from contamination and predators of the human kind from harming them or destroying their natural habitats. So we can enjoy watching and learning about them, their families, their habits, and their habitats for a long time to come.

My name is Zoe Berk and I have seen the radio show before. I am now writing to tell you that I recently turned 22 and a half years old. I recently just saw the movie Clifford the big red dog in the movie theater at the Eastwood mall location and I really liked it actually. I remembered when you read the book to me at the market and when you told me to stay calm I had to remember to count slowly in through my nose and out through my mouth. I was recently just with my mom and I had to remember that I was in a public place so I had to remember to stay calm because it was my first time in a movie theater during COVID. Also I wanted to tell you that I finally went on that merry go round the slow one and I earned my sticker finally. Anyway I was with my sister Reilly and John McDermott. When I saw 👀 the movie I was thinking about what you told me about how the actress in the movie goes through changes and I was just thinking about you. I enjoyed listening to your radio show so much that I still have my badge from the career and community studies program and the Kent State flash card 1 that is the key chain one. I remembered writing down my first name and I remembered when I was 21 to write my last name on it. I was from the health and community services with the light pink bags and I now understand why it said commuter because I don’t drive which means that I didn’t have to worry about what was going on around me because today I had to write about my term that was originally from the manual slash dictionary for classical ballet 🩰 I wanted to know if it was ok with you if I wrote about the big red dog the movie version and showed it to you. Anyway I just wanted to say that black squirrel radio was excellent and it reminded me of all the good things that are happening right now currently in my life. .I learned about whether the situation is good or bad I will remember you. 🙂

Update causes app to no longer recognize Apple lightening digital a/v adapter. Now my phone will only do screen mirroring (it used to automatically switch it to AirPlay mode), which I personally would not mind, except that for some reason, i can no longer play a playlist if I am using my adapter. The app will play one video and then stop, even though I am supposed to be playing a playlist. I am not talking about auto play. I am referring to a playlist. And auto play does not work with playlists — because it is a playlist. I used to be able to plug in my adapter, shuffle a playlist and go on about my day with my phone playing video after video. Now, I use my adapter and then have to run back to my phone every time a video ends. Not good —not happy. This is not an IOS issue because it was doing this before I updated. In fact, I updated my phone because I thought it would resolve the problem. I keep trying to find solutions, but nothing has corrected something that was not an issue until now.

I love YouTube, Its my most used app on my phone, it's. A great app and super helpful and entertaining. However, lately my YouTube recommendations have been really weird. The app keeps recommending content I don't watch and am not interested in such as sports videos, wildlife videos, random music video's, gaming video's, etc. And I barley get recommended any videos that I'm actually interested in. I have tried everything to reset my YouTube recommendations to show content that I actually like. Because of this, i am only going to rate it 4 stars. If you could please fix this bug as soon as posing or at least look into it, that would be great

There’s no point in advertising YouTube TV if it’s not available in Canada

When scrolling to select a video the moment you stop to read a title, or look at the poster frame, the video instantly starts playing. By default there is no audio. If you touch the video to watch it advertising will play, which is expected. What’s not expected is that when the opportunity to leave the ads and go to the video appears, the video CONTINUES playing with audio, but 5, 10, or whatever number of seconds in from when you touched it. This means in order to watch from the beginning the user must use the navigation. Very annoying since the initial play back is silent and instantaneous before selecting the video for viewing. After selection, and pre-roll ads the video should start from the BEGINNING. Beyond that, this whole “instant play” thing when scrolling should be a user selectable feature that can be turned on or off. Personally, I like to read the title and look at the poster frame before making a selection. What’s the point of allowing the content providers to write titles and make custom poster frames if viewers aren’t able to see them? If it were books instead of videos, it’d be like flashing the title and cover and then start instantly into the book’s text before I even know if I’m interested. Also, auto-starting the video may spoil any given viewing experience by revealing something before the viewer is allowed to watch the video as the author intended. PLEASE remove this behavior or allow the viewer to control it. Thank you.

If you’re gonna force people to buy your premium make it affordable for everyone. Having 8 ads before, in the middle of, and after a video is beyond annoying. And the next button feature doesn’t need to exist. The fact that you added it proves you’re putting too many ads in your forced as segments. People who can’t afford it use ad blockers cause it’s significantly cheaper. Stop with the ad overflow and people will probably flock to this app more, you’re being outclassed by every other streaming platform and it’s mainly cause yall don’t make your ad count and ad times reasonable. 5+ ads, each like 30+ seconds in length, AND an inability to skip until it’s the last ad? Like really? And work on banning click bait ads there’s way too many of those. I enjoy YT but honestly it’s becoming unbearable to be on cause unless it’s mobile phone you’re BOMBARDED with ad after ad before you can watch a two minute video the only way it makes sense is when you’re watching a 5+ hour video, and the ad spam lets you have a certain amount of time (like 15-30 mins) without them. Blocking someone from viewing cause you guys make viewing an unreasonable pain is not fair to the people who can’t afford your over priced premium. If people are having to use ad blockers it should be a hint y’all need to make changes. So take that hint and for once make a change everyone will love

With all the psychosis in censorship which is completely ruined this entire platform are you see these days are people that are taking other individuals that you’ve already kicked off of the platform taking their videos and putting them back up which is ridiculous because somebody’s making money off of it regardless they are not getting shut off you just seem to target people that are making valid points and America along with the rest of the world have a good idea what’s going on and you literally took everything down that was worth seeing! I always viewed this platform as awesome and enjoyed watching so many different types of videos but everything has completely changed over the last year for the worst!!!!! Like the title implies, this app used to be so much better. Now? Now it’s a cesspool of corporate greed, you cannot go 30 seconds without seeing some kind of advertisement, and with each new update they find new ways to have ads take up your device’s screen and your time. Blocking ads you don’t wanna see is purely cosmetic, it’ll claim “you shouldn’t see this ad again, but you might see other ads by the advertiser”. Which effectively means “they paid us, so you can deal with it”. Reporting ads for not adhering to YouTube’s own guidelines for ads is an even bigger joke, a good 85% of advertisements on this platform are for political campaigns, gambling platforms, or addiction services. All three of those categories are supposedly types of ads that are not allowed on the platform. Oh, and if you don’t want to deal with seeing more ads than the videos you’d like to see, it’s only $20+/month and growing, more than double some other subscription services!! Google is one of the highest grossing companies ever, and yet they are blatantly choosing money over their morals and over the satisfaction of their users. If they have any integrity, they will at LEAST follow their own rules and guidelines when it comes to making their ad revenue, or maybe, just maybe, someone at google will finally grow a conscience and think to themselves “we really have made enough money off of this, we have more money than the common person could even imagine. We should make our platform more accessible to people that don’t have infinite money like us”

I remember back then, YT was great! Everyone who made and watched videos had much fun. However, yt is now adding changes to the app that many creators and people alike are not liking. Its states that people who make kid friendly videos will not have personalized advertisements for the safety of children, in case the child gives away any important information. Many creators are devastated since most get their money from their YT career. The money they earn will drop. And, many creators have stated this as a problem. People like MatPat from game theorists and a popular creator, mark from Markiplier. Even gacha tubers have stated this as a problem! Hundreds of thousands of people will lose money, and won’t be able to pay for important things like rent or bills. Here is the issue for me. Why are u people making it look like its the creators’ fault? They don’t have access to any important information about someone unless that person is willing to give them the information, Like for a giveaway. Infact, They did nothing wrong. You people know what we watch because the recommended ads are shown because of u. Don’t take off their pay, people had dreams of becoming famous Yt stars and being able to earn a good amount of money, right now, u just crushed my dreams and thousands of other people. Creators try to be nice and give free items away, and unless the person lets them have their information to get something from their favorite creator, its not their fault. Correct me if im wrong on anything good day and goodnight for all. Ya and a DEAD BODY is ok but not a trolling video ok yt

Overall, great app. It’s a streaming app so what’s not to like. Easy to use, ad-free or ad version, no biggie. But my biggest issue now is for some reason on my iPhone and iPad, when I go to delete a video by sliding left, the trash icon appears behind the video name and is essentially behind the name of the video unable to delete. So I have to pull the history page down for it to load again, and then I can swipe left and delete a video from my history without the trash icon disappearing. I’ve uninstalled both, thinking maybe it was a bad update, something of the sort. But still, as I’m writing this, it’s still happening. Before the latest update all was fine. Now just deleting a video is a hassle. If I scroll down the page say, 20 videos previous, and try to delete a video. The icon symbol disappears behind the name, and I’m forced to try and reload the page by pulling down once more and most of the time it doesn’t work. Forcing me to delete only 5 at a time and pulling down every 5-6 videos to refresh so the icon symbol doesn’t disappear again. Only flaw I’ve seen but makes it a hassle when I want to clear my feed from mistaken clicked on videos so that my feed doesn’t get flooded with content I don’t care for.

The latest update has broken the app. Speaking as an iPhone 11 user, here. Never had this issue with the app. While viewing a short, rather than loop, sometimes it will start playing another short but will still show the original video’s account and comments, it really strange. On a secondary ongoing issue I have. When a video has ended and an ad comes on, it’s INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING, that if I’m scrolling looking for what to watch next, I’m very rudely pushed back to the top so so the non video portion of the ad can load. It does the opposite of making me want the product, it goes on my never buy list. The static, clickable portion of the ad should hang below the video as I scroll or if you have to use the whole length of the screen, make it an overlay, not push me back to the top of all of the recommended videos. Unless, is that your point? To not watch recommended videos? Because sometimes I don’t because of this practice, I’ll just start a new search. Finally, an ongoing issue with searches bringing up irrelevant videos and even repeats some suggestions several times as I scroll looking for the videos of the subject I originally searched for. If I didn’t watch the video I scrolled past the first time, I don’t want to watch it.

They’ve added banners over videos after ads have played that require multiple taps to dismiss. There is not one human alive whose experience is improved by this change, unless their only contact with the platform is in their stock portfolios. It’s good, though; I’m happy knowing that every bit of joy I lose dismissing an ad I’ve already skipped is going to someone who really did something important with their life. Unfortunately, the fact that I, one of the swine, am being left any shred in which to find solace is an unforgivable mistake. Hopefully one day they’ll just chain my ankles behind my head and tattoo the ads the only place I can see them to give me the experience I really deserve. Gave one star back for turning on sound for video previews every time I open the app. I turn it off because I think I know better than the developers, but they make sure to put me in my place by reminding me that it’s actually vitally important to hear every video I spend half a second looking at as I’m scrolling. Leaving them muted would give me the impression that I’m an agent with free will over my phone’s emissions. However, the very purpose of a telephone is to subject the owner to nonconsensual noises, so I am being given a valuable lesson every time my preferences are ignored.

I’ve used the YT app on both my iPhone and iPad for years and I didn’t start noticing a decline in quality between devices until this year. Removing the decline button and streamlining the UI was a mistake. Algorithm is worse too; I need to search for creators I like instead of being recommended similar videos. Despite notifications being on, I’m not notified half the time a creator I follow posts something. Seems like YT is shadow banning certain content they disagree with. Also, the app on iPad has so many more bugs than it used to in my experience. The amount of times the app freezes when I tap to open a video, have unsynced audio, or the drag down feature to swipe out of a video not working is ridiculous. The saved playlist pop up is so wacky on iPad, if you have multiple playlists saved like I do, it takes up so much space on the screen and unlike on desktop and iPhone YT, there’s no “done” button at the bottom to take you out of the dialogue box—you need to tap somewhere randomly on the screen to close the window. I’m probably using YT on my iPad 10-15 hours per week and I need to restart the app 2-3 times or more every week to fix a bug. I simply don’t encounter these bugs on the YT app on my phone nor on desktop.

I’m usually in favour of making continuous improvements to apps, but some of the recent changes just degrade the experience and make the app harder to use. Two that stand out are the recent change in the location of the “X” button. It was already bad enough that Google force an unintuitive and friction-laden paradigm for closing a video, where you have to swipe it to make it smaller and then hit the X button. Now the location of the X button has moved to the top left of that minimised picture and the thumb hit area appears smaller, which means way too often I accidentally select the video thumbnail behind it and play the next video, which isn’t what I wanted, so I have to go through that whole process again to close yet another video to finally go and select what I want to watch. The second infuriating change is sticking a circle with the play logo on top of your playing video if it’s not fullscreen? What’s the point of this? I can see the video playing, I don’t need another visual cue to tell me it is playing, so this is nothing but an irritant, distracting from the video I’m watching. Please reverse these changes or at least give me the option to remove them. There are lots of changes that will improve the app that I’m sure will make the experience better. These two were a big miss!

They will censor your ability to use the keyboard if it is controversial to their donor’s etc. Honestly it’s frustrating because I’m trying to explain my point of view so it can be read as reasonable. I just can’t to that point because it cuts out your keyboard before you can explain your point. Otherwise your point might appear hostile if it’s an incomplete statement because they keep locking out the keyboard on my phone before I can even add the proper context. What am I supposed to do be the villain and then reply my own comment the actual context that makes my overall comment make sense and sound rational because it is rational when you allow a proper context to go with said comment. I might just take a break. It’s just too much fascism, maybe I’ll just get a pizza instead. Good luck, you have been warned about these corporate fascists that can’t stand up to their overambitious PR department that prefer to censor the actual customers of said app rather than giving good people the benefit of the doubt over the sadistic whinny needs of the stockholders via censorship plain and simple… On this Memorial Day, with my freedom earned as a Veteran, I think I would rather watch a movie on TV while eating a slice of pizza than deal with this constant fascist aggravation.

I received another violation and takedown on a different 6year old video criticizing ads that suggested eating disorders in a subculture. I clearly stated that I DID NOT CONDONE it and even had trigger warnings in the video. The other video was able to be put back up with an age restriction, so why can’t a follow up video critique get the same treatment? I knew I should have downloaded the vids after the first bogus removal WITH the trigger warnings I added in. However, this app has allowed and continued to allow a popular anorexic YouTuber to keep her channel for YEARS who plays into how skeletal she looks where people have reported discomfort seeing her. This app has allowed a different YouTuber to make content off her eating disorder, yet that content is allowed. The hypocrisy and possible racism is DEAFENING. If this was because someone reported my content to silence my mission after they defamed me, I want names or will go the route of subpoena for them so I can pursue legal action. Also, some ux features are missing for pc users: the ability to scroll down through a playlist when video is playing, scroll through playlists to add new videos when watching them, and scroll down from the pop up for channel info/about. It’s been like that for years and is frustrating to deal with.

I don’t normally review apps on here, but I thought it was necessary to do so for this app. The number of ads that are repeatedly thrown at you is ridiculous. There’s one every three to five minutes that are either five to ten minutes long. I appreciate the ones you can skip, but you can’t even enjoy or fully appreciate what you’re watching because the ads just keep coming. Also, the ad system messes with the app and aspect ratio of the video you’re watching. When an ad pops up and finishes it shrinks the video you’re originally watching to show a secondary ad without your choosing, and when you clear it away the video gets stuck in the shrunken aspect ratio and you now have to adjust the device to fix it. It’s like you’re watching your video on an iPad Nano and the video is the size of a quarter of the screen and the rest is black empty space. It’s so annoying. And then once you’ve cleared the secondary ad, you have an additional third attaching ad that’s like a tag at the bottom left corner that lingers there until you clear it manually. Honestly, this whole ad system needs to stop. Please respect those that are using your app and stop making it a hassle just to use it.

As expected from above I hate this app. Shorts infest my homepage despite having their own dedicated app, I use yt music so it recommends me songs.. when I have a second app for songs. And the “not interested” button? It does genuinely nothing I’ve spammed that thing on specific topics and they never go away. An example is Minecraft 100 days I was rewatching lukethenotables series and ended up watching like 3 vids. For days now despite scrolling past, despite refreshing the page inside the app. Despite even blacklisting channels from appearing on my recommended it goes out of its way to find similar people to replace them with on my feed. And this is if it decides to show you anything after you try to purge its nonsense recommendations. I click on two and my yt homepage is halved instantly. And having a channel for years and adding stuff to watch later that I now have no intention of watching, I get to see “from watch later” every five videos it’ll show. And atleast on the mobile app, there isn’t a way to delete the watch later playlist. You can delete its contents but not the playlist itself. Not even just everything on the playlist no you have to go vid by vid.

The way the layout of the video controls and settings has been completely rearranged and changed is either annoying, pointless, or just makes the user interface worse altogether. Every time I double tap to skip ahead or go back, the pause symbol stays on my screen unless I tap the screen to bring up the video captions and time bar then tap it again to make them go away. I’ve also had the time bar just stay on the screen no matter what I tried to do unless I just closed the app. Not having the button to switch from full screen to thumbnail view in the bottom right corner, or at least be able to customize if you want to accommodate left handed users, is very annoying because it’s now on the farthest corner away from where my thumb can most easily reach it. I’ve also constantly had videos randomly pause on me for no reason with nothing touching the screen. These changes and glitches have really made the experience of using this app over the past few weeks very annoying compared to the previous interface beyond just struggling to get used to a new layout

There are many small problems that I’m starting to get fed up with. Most frustrating is that it keeps pushing videos by or about a particular creator I despised. I watched ONE video CRITICIZING this person, and now it’s constantly suggesting videos by them, reposting them and/or glazing them. Every time I click on Don’t Recommend Channel and yet they keep coming. Secondly, it does not sync playback locations between the streamed and downloaded version of the same video. I mostly use the iPhone app for downloading videos and watching them on the subway. But I often want to switch to the streamed version when i am in cell range to look at the comments. It starts over every single time. Thirdly, the recommended categories at the top of the app are different every time, and it seems like they purposely show categories that are different from what I clicked on last time. If I click on NBA, it doesn’t recommend NBA the next several times I use the app. Same with ASMR etc. Why can’t i just set the categories that are recommended? If i can, that functionality is way too hidden. There’s at least one more thing I wanted to complain about, when I think of it I’ll come back and edit this.

This used to be the best and only app I ever cared about. It’s where I get my music. It’s probably my most used app. First came the ads which have become completely unbearable. Makes for the most frustrating user experience. Now we have this supposed AI verification that’s going to somehow guess your age based on videos you’ve watched. Not only is this incredibly ridiculous and unnecessary, but it’s a dark Trojan horse for taking people’s personal sensitive data all in one fell swoop. It’s bad enough that all of our information is probably leaked to the dark web anyways at this point, but this is just insulting frankly. Don’t fall for the guise of “protecting children” because that’s the oldest trick in the book. These multibillion dollar companies have always been ready and willing to sell their customers out at the first chance they get but with the rise of AI and this political climate, it’s become even more insidious. This is supposed to be an app about watching videos and having to provide your face, credit card or government ID under the guise of protecting kids is so obvious at this point everyone can see right through it. It’s unfair that it feels like we, as the user of this app have no choice because there’s no real alternative and frankly, even if there was this could happen to any other platform we choose because these apps and their owners just grow more and more powerful with each year and they think we’ll all just give in and can do whatever they want, but they’re not the ones with the real power. Be advised – – this is only gonna get worse if we don’t fight this now. You have a choice and I would advise being very careful about how companies want to use AI… Don’t just let them.

The truth whether you like it or not will come to light. Your censorship of certain topics will only make your platform obsolete. As a citizen of the US, we have "freedom of speech." You are infringing on that right and it must stop! Just because you don’t like someone’s point of view, does not mean that it doesn’t have merit. For a company for "diversity," you obviously don’t understand what the term really means. It is HEALTHY to "include" different points of view. Instead of pushing certain groups, how about we go back to “all men were created equally." No one is better than anyone else and no one’s viewpoint is any more or less valid than anyone else’s. We are ALL EQUAL and each of us has FREEDOM OF SPEECH and thought regardless of race or religion because we are citizens of the USA. Let’s treat each other respectfully and try to have some decorum when we come across opposing viewpoints. Use those times to debate and learn rather than censor. By doing that, we can grow and become a more understanding and thoughtful society which we desperately need. There are certain topics that need to come to light. You must let them! So, one problem with the app is that I’m right handed and use landscape mode. Quite frequently when I shift or move somewhere else with my iPad, my right thumb will hit one of the other videos in the scroll suggestion area. This of course makes the video jump to something else. It is rather annoying! May I suggest that you create a setting where you have the choice of which side to put the lists on. Also, there should be a regulation on the volume. When I’m wearing headphones, the commercials blast out my eardrums. It is literally painful! Hope you fix it.

I’ve been watching videos on yt since 2009 and have been paying for a membership for 2-3 years. The fall of this website has been devastating. The genuine content from genuine people has been being sanitized to become more “family friendly” or “ad friendly.” The thing that made yt great wasn’t the company showing its support for one political movement or slickness of its UI; the thing that made YT great was the robust amount of content. The rawness of some channels. The ability to go against the grain and change minds. The ability to say anything you wanted as long as it was lawful speech.(no credible threats of violence, etc.) even if someone was a wild and brutal racsts can be found and challenged through video replies and comments. Gamers could curse and be edgy. Comidians could be funny and funny. Scratch artists could be funny. Short Animation was valued. Now yt has narrowed its video from “broadcast yourself” to “broadcast what these other company’s thing is safest, screw the people who actually make the content these company’s want their ads played over.” Just because a ad is played in front of some uncouth conspiracy video doesn’t mean that company supports the message in the content. Actually protect your creators don’t strangle them. Help the people who make you money not restrict them. Open the gates for new and good, old and bad, new and bad, old and good types of content. Make your TOS crystal clean for creators to know what’s outside and what’s inside. Apply rules fairly and equally. You’ll bring the user base back. You’ll make people happy. I’m considering leaving the platform especially since political censorship has ran rampant on the “platform.”

I’m really surprised that for a platform this mature and with so many users that it’s so primitive. First off why does it keep pushing videos up in front of me that I’ve seen before? second, why can’t I mark those videos (and any other video) as not wanting to see them ever again? On pricing, they were already charging a hefty 1399 a month for a premium which they just increased to 1599. Totally unjustified for such a clunky application with very few features that should be obvious basic items they left out. Another basic item they should have is a much better manage your software for your libraries and playlists. Currently it’s very clunky and takes a lot of key presses to delete videos from playlist individually and or move them around from one playlist to another. All of the above should’ve been. Included in the original version of this app, as they are basic capabilities. It says if the original version was thrown together, he has to leave without a complete design. I’ll leave it at that for now. There are many other things that should do, but those are some of the most egregious things.

I’m hoping a fresh install helps with the numerous issues I get when connecting to my xbox via the mobile app. Almost always, playback speed goes to 0.25% and I have to make it 100% for each video I select on my phone. Then, ad skip buttons “magically” do not appear, and I have to turn on my Xbox controller to skip the ad—yes I know, first world problem, but it defeats the point of using the app on my phone as a “remote”. Other issues where the videos just won’t play or start in random spots are sporadic and come and go. I only get these issues when connecting to my Xbox from my phone, so maybe it’s on Xbox, not too sure but it gets annoying after a while to the point where I won’t use the mobile app, I will just use the Xbox controller. I’m not even going to get into the entire ad experience when viewing on my Xbox—in short, ads are much longer, more likely to be un-skipable, and are just more numerous even for shorter videos. I know this is we-ll known. I’ve gotten so annoyed by the crazy amount of ads when on my Xbox that I will just turn off my tv and read a book lol. Maybe I should do that more often tbh.

I have to refresh my page SO often it is becoming an issue. Besides the infinite amount of ads that have been added, this app was fine until recently. In the past couple months I can’t find any content relating to any “women-centered” topics. For example, I love chad chad, mynameisemily, mina lee and many other creators that are women, have a decent following, and, provide thoughtful entertaining videos marketed towards the feminine. My problem is, these women and their content and others similar content, doesn’t get recommended to me. If I watch one danny gonzalez video, I will only receive recommendations for him, kurtis connor, drew goooden and other larger male creators. It appears for every female content creator’s video I watch, I get recommended one or two videos like it. For every male content creator I watch, there are seemingly DOZENS of videos completely irrelevant to me and my watch history. This site becomes worse and worse and worse as time goes on..I remember being shocked 15 second ads would become unskippable. Please think about a big majority of your users as the “Not interested” button does not seem to work like it should. Thank you

I hate how the app lags. Like if I’m unliking a video in the liked videos playlist, sometimes there’s a different video on the bottom than the one being played so I unlike the wrong one and I end up having to like it again and it’s in the wrong order. It’s really annoying. Please fix. Edit: I hate how sometimes it doesn’t load videos into my watched history. Like it’ll just stop at random points and then I have to reopen the app or something for it to begin again. It’s not like it’ll reload the videos I watched while it was being laggy it’ll just never count those as if it never happened. it’s really annoying. Edit: Watch history is still an ongoing problem. It’s really annoying when I need to go back to a video and I can’t because the app decides to lag. One time I was on shorts and I clicked off a video so I went to my history to find it and surprise surprise! It was being laggy. And it wasn’t even like I could obsessively search for it because my brain decided to forget what the video was about next second. I know, first world problem but please fix. It’s a really frequent and annoying inconvenience :((

I’m a ARMY and I would like to say that I am not being toxic or anything of the sort, I am just trying to say that both BTS and ARMY work hard. BTS works hard as musicians and they do a lot for us, and as for ARMY we work hard to get our boys on top. We don’t need bots, we work hard to stream ON , I was at school when ON came out and I streamed. There is no way that in 1 hour we can get 10 million views and in 5 hours we can only get 25 million and then after TWO DAYS THERE IS ONLY 59 MILLION VIEWS !!!!! WE GET 59 MILLION VIEWS IN 5 HOURS. It’s not fair that we get treated differently than other artists and fans, our views are constantly being deleted and slowed down! We are a big fandom there is a lot of toxics fans but there is more fans that just want the best for BTS and want to be happy on the journey with them, what I am trying to say is that many people have watched that video fans and haters and people that have no idea who they are and just watched. They are worldwide, bots are not needed we work hard for it. Please stop messing with BTS and their views let’s us have this we have worked hard for them to get treated well and have their dreams be reality. We love BTS and that is why this is making us so mad a lot of ARMYS were saved by BTS (like me) so we do this because this is the least we can do! We are a powerful fandom and we won’t stop until we get fare treatment. YouTube is deleting channels and videos for no reason. They are platform and should not be allowed to delete videos on someone’s opinion that they don’t like. It’s the new time square. Then they push the main stream media videos, which is 99% left. I go to YouTube for the news so I can hear many peoples views of a news story in one place. But if they keep shooting them selfs in the foot. They many push a lot of their creators away. The people who got them in the place that they are today. Wish they were neutral and transparent. There is still time.

They now allow ads that lie, for example one just has a big “YOUR PHONE IS INFECTED, SCAN NOW”. Some people may not know enough to know that this is a lie in a paid ad. Youtube should worry about their ethics more. On top of this, their copyright strike system is broken and abusable. Hostility towards their own content creators is terrible. Too bad they don’t have any significant competitors to jump ship to.

The app keeps crashing on me now and when I try to read reply’s to comments my screen freezes but the audio to the video will still play. Also sometimes I’ll go full screen into a video and it won’t let me leave full screen. Please fix this.

Every time i watch youtube the pause screen keeps popping up on my iphone X, tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but no success. It’s been a couple months now and youtube has t fixed it

Stop asking if I want to buy YouTube premium 10 times a day, the answer will always be no. Why did you move the comments section??? Just keep it in the old place and also have it in the new place instead, would make everyone much happier if it were in both places.

Sadly there is nothing better than it out there right now. YouTube’s quality is on a downward slope. Just because there is more people using it doesn’t mean it’s getting better. UI isn’t too bad but I know what I would do to make it better.

Youtube has a less than favorable system when it comes to regulating views, likes, dislikes and comments. It’s not very helpful for content creators and can create confusion as well as setbacks for updates and videos. This doesn’t seem dramatic, until it deletes 10M+ views on a certain videos, and then prevents subscribers and viewers from seeing it. Fix this problem as soon as you can.

The most recent update where when your watching a video and pull up on the bottom to view more videos, and you can’t click the screen to go back to the video is really dumb and annoying. You now need to either reslide down or click the x way in the corner. This is very inconvenient. I would like it to be changed back.

Every video in my recommended section under the playing video is little kid videos and videos in other languages, nothing relating to the music or video I am currently watching or have watched. YouTube, what the heck is going on?

YouTube is all ads, I’m uninstalling and using any other service. A 30 second “survey” just popped up. That was the final straw. I think YouTube has become a disgrace and is the flagship of everything that is wrong with the internet. I never write reviews but I’m making an exception for this giant load of bull. I’ve been with YouTube a long time and have sold all my shares. Many ventures become monopolies like this but then get cocky and profit hungry to justify wild valuations and push all their users away to more friendly services.

Literally every time I use the app now it says I have no connection. I have 3GB of data that's always on and wifi while trying to use it no reason it's not working, and what's with all the ads now when it does work? Fix asap!

The new Comment section update is absolutely bad and uncomfortable. Many people see the comment after watch the video, but that bew comment is so hard to see all the comments and terrible.

The way YouTube treats its creators is horrible. They make it almost impossible to make content. You’re not allowed to make edgy content or content that’s too child friendly. Hopefully YouTube can clean itself up in the future.
