Pretty good but MAJOR bug that needs to be fixed!First of, I love Textnow. It works out great because I have an iPad and my family members mostly have phones from different company’s that I can’t message. The app is a bit laggy but it works pretty good. I love how you can change contact icons and themes. But there is one major issue. Recently I’ve been experiencing a bug. I have 2 main contacts, my dad and my best friend. When I go to me and my best friends messages all I see is the background I chose. I can see the text bubbles. The only way I can see what she says is the drop-down notification I get when she texts. I’ve restarted my iPad, checked the app for updates, deleted her contact and re-added her. Nothing showed up. But when I go to my dads contact, everything is there. Also another issue I experience is sending images and messages. My bff used a Samsung, she also uses Messenger Kids. When I try to send her images, it shows up for me but sometimes not for her. And I’ve even gotten messages from her that didn’t show up on her screen. I believe the issue is because we both use 2 different devices and apps. But it would be great if there was a way this could be fixed. Another issue I encountered was the calls. Say I leave the Textnow app, still in a call. Sometimes, after a certain amount of time, the call completely disconnects. I love this app so much and how it gives me the freedom to message others with different devices even with my Apple device. Textnow is an honest, safe,worthwhile downloadTextnow has met my bending needs. It offers a free version (no credit card to sustain unless/until/if u make a purchase) and an option to upgrade for even more options, if your specific needs require. I prefer Textnow than it’s alternatives and I’ve tried many. Others have you download their app only to blast you with hidden fees or shortchange the options you expect. I never trust an app that corners you into entering your card info while your streaming the free version. TextNow is beneficial when you don’t want to give out your main number in avoidance of spam or pesty callers. It also provides the opportunity to separate your professional and personal calls. I have chosen to lock my number in for a small yearly fee. That’s not necessary, but after years of using the free version I realized I wasn't being played by the app. I felt comfortable enough to enter my information and make this small purchase. you can use the app without securing your number, but you do risk having to change your number if someone swipes it during a time you’re not active for multiple weeks consistently. I can mention plenty more ways to benefit from TextNow and why this app is a great tool but after giving you the comfort to trust them, Ill let you find out how it adapts to your specific needs on your own. Actual FREE texting app! NO Need to get credits or pay for service!I live been using text now for a very long time. It is one of the only actual free calling apps out there. It doesn’t make you watch a bunch of stupid ads all the time or pay for the premium service just to make calls or send messages. If course, there are some ads on it but nothing that lasts for very long. Unlike some of the other calling apps I’ve tried which make you earn credits to make phone calls or send text messages. I always hated how I had to watch a 2 minute video or download some new game or app just to get enough credits to make a single call! TextNow is not like that. You choose your own phone number according to where you live and than voila!! You have a phone number that is good for as long as you continue to use TV rap I will mention that you have to use the app at least once a month or your number will get ready- assigned. That’s no big deal though. Just send a text or make at least one phone call a month and your god. Perfect Spam FileLove this app. If you are like most you have more than one email. Why? Because of Al the online Spam and Ads on the internet. I have multiple emails that I use for for specific reasons. I have one professional for things important like for taxes, bills, and kid’s school contacts. Then one for social media, games I play all the time, and other more recreational. Then I have a garbage email. . One that I can use when I’m just checking out something to see if I like it or not. I do not care if I miss an email because it is things that I didn’t care about. Well with this app now you have a second phone number to do the same. And it is free free. Not free for a little then you have to buy tokens down the road. Free. Now there is an option to pay like $10 k or something to keep the phone number or reserve the number. Great service, terrible designI absolutely love TextNow as a service. Unlike other apps, there’s no catch to it. All you do is make free texts and calls, no credits or payments involved, no time limits or message caps, just pure, simple communications. Sure it might show you some ads, but there’s no full ads that I’ve ever seen. All of the ads I’ve seen are banner ads or ads that appear as a panel in your next messages, and that are completely unobtrusive (though ugly.) I do find how ads show up in the main menu for my contacts and conversations. Just opening the app, you see ads. When you’re in public and open the app, the first thing that pops up in the screen is a banner ad. It’s quite embarrassing to be honest. I feel like keeping ads INSIDE the texts would be much better as I only see them when I choose to open a message or make a call. Also, the lack of a dark mode is very uncomfortable for someone who has very sensitive eyes and can’t look at bright things directly for an extended amount of time, and as someone who prefers the dark aesthetic, it’s unappealing. I can easily see a dark mode appealing to a lot of other people, so it would be great if it was a feature. That’s it. The app may be an eyesore to some, but for me it’s only a two star deduction, and it doesn’t look that bad. My Text Now Review 2019Text now is a very decent, easy navigating, surprisingly free app for Androids & for iPhones. I have a locked, iPhone 8 Plus I’ve had for awhile through T-Mobile phone service. Please,please,please: Upgrade the Calling feature on the Text-Now app. The calls tend to lag and/or, sometimes even won’t ring at all. It’s a hit or a miss and of course, depends on your WiFi connection/Range for the majority of the time spent on this app. #2. On my iPhone 8 Plus, my notifications only pop up when I have the app opened up, unfortunately, even with the notification sound set & at top volume. That specific flaw on this app can really set a person back when receiving late notifications. But overall.. this app is really, actually, kind of a lifesaver. Convenient with Wi-FiSo I work really really hard but like a lot of people- sometimes in between paydays comes that phone bill. Which can be that little extra that’s either going to get you by or give you phone. Of course I choose to use it to get by! Downloading this app- I have Wi-Fi at home and at work. So while I’m here or at home I can call my FS card to check my balance (which can be VERY important when I need milk for my 2 yr old ect;) and I’m unsure of what I’ve got- and avoid embarrassment in the store being declined for misunderstanding my balance. It can be helpful for a lot. I need it for little thank God but where I need it- it comes in clutch like any phone I PAY for to make calls. TextNow.Let’s start with the pros, TextNow is a pretty good app. You use it to text/call your friends, family, or anybody else. It’s pretty much free except the part to call somebody out of the U.S. But even then, you can buy or gain credit easily. You can buy them using your real money or watch adds that give you 5 cents per add. If you are texting somebody who doesn’t have TextNow and instead has iMessage, your texts will still go through. So, when they receive it, it comes through as a normal iMessage text. Now the cons, it has a decent amount of adds. I could be trying to call my family member and an add will show up, therefore ending the call. For me, this has happened 4 or so times, but I think that they have fixed this error. If not, just know it’s not only you. I don’t understand why everybody is saying you get free service, you don’t. I’ve had TextNow for a while now and I’ve never seen it give me free service, just free calls and texts, I’m not complaining, I’m just wondering where people are getting this info from. Also, accidentally deleted my moms message box from my view, so when I try to add it back, it says I HAVE to say something to her. What if she is working? I don’t want to disturb her, do I? Please let us add back our contact without having to send a message to anybody. Sometimes, I’ll get a notification that somebody has texted me, but when I check, their message isn’t there. When it finally pops up, whatever response I input will be shown as if I said my message before them. Are you serious? Edit: THEY FIXED ITI’ve had this app for a couple years and in the first half, everything was great. In fact, I would’ve given this app four stars a year ago. I didn’t mind the ads, I barely looked at them. I’m used to getting ads, so why would I mind now? The app was decent. But then the updates started and everything went downhill. Ads have become unbearableI’ve had TextNow for over 4 years and counting. I used to love this app because the ads while they were there (as they ought to be since it’s a free service), they were non intrusive and bearable. It was a tiny banner ad in between messages in the inbox . That’s it. However in the past few months it has gotten so bad that I’ve considered simply uninstalling the app and moving on . I’ve always used this service as a secondary number for non personal stuff (I even paid to get my number locked in) , but now it seems it’s not even worth it. To say that the ads are very frequent would be a total understatement.. it literally seems that after every call made , you get blasted with a 20-30 second full screen ad (which you cannot skip or close or do anything with other than wait it out) . By FAR thee best application….I am just so very pleased and thankful for a company like this and the app!! As someone who keeps having the worst luck with typical cell phone companies constantly screwing up my accounts and leaving me to be the one to pay the price for their mistakes. Best ServiceI have been a customer for the last two years and this app helped make the most difficult time of my life more bearable. When COVID hit the city I liv4d in in March of 2020 I was unable to pay my $55 phone bill and as a result they turned off my phone . FortunatleyI had#iFi and came across the app . Thanks to the app I was able to notify paramedics and my others hospice nurse when she was in the final stages of COVID and then family and friends when she passed the following day. Great easy simple and…Great app still some bugs here and there examples. 1) recently I’ll get a text (iOS fyi) I’ll see the notification banner on my Lock Screen but when I go into the app those text I’ve received do not show up right away in the conversation and after x amount of time they’ll show in the conversation. 2) the other issue is if I send the max of 5 (or 4) photos at one time to someone the app crashes and fails to send the photos until I reopen the app and the conversation I was sending the photos in and then have to manually tap on each photo one by one to resend or delete the photo. I love that I get free access to email, maps and ride share with out having to buy data, so for $1.99 the price of the SIM card they offer TextNow is ungodly well worth it. Best App For Call & TextingThis is the best free app for calling & texting. It allows you to make calls & texts as long as you have some mobile data or a WiFi connection. The Audio Quality is Fairly Decent on both ends & they even have Multimedia Messaging for an image, gif, or video that’s 30s or less. You get one opportunity to change your number for free - & you can’t make private calls - thus preventing users from making harassing or spamming types of calls. This used to be my favorite texting app...I’ve been a TextNow user for many years, ever since 2011, and haven’t run into so much trouble until recently when their ads just became unbearable. I believe in ads and have even tried buying their service several times. However, the ads are ruining the experience. Whenever I enter the app and tap on a contact and begin to type a message the app just freezes. I sometimes end up calling my boss on accident due to the horrible lag. The actual texting and calling is good otherwise. The texting is far better than the calling at times. I have unlimited data, but this apps can go from working great to not working at all in seconds. I can see that it’s the ads causing all the issues. My fix would be to have ads take up less data or use less ads or use a better way to get these ads on the app. Please fix this devs. It gets very confusing and frustrating when I can’t use the app due to all the ads. I will try to get a plan to remove the ads, but the normal service is advertised as free. I do hope you can fix the interface to run smoothly once again. Seen Better DaysI’ve had the same number and use this app for 8+ years now five of those I have used it over my main phone number because It was impressive service wise till probably starting a year ago I may not have a call ring through from time to time nothing to earth shattering. But has progressively gotten worse to the point over the last month or so I’m practically unable to rely on it whatsoever. It’s lagging, not sending or receiving messages at times hours after being placed, as well as many calls not ringing through, only receiving notifications of a missed call. Over last week has begun to freeze up and not able to do anything but close app and try to reopen but just continues loading with no issue solved. Tried to delete app and reinstall to no avail it seems hopeless to think the issues will do anything but continue to make it functionally unsound for use. Amazing, but could be improvedI absolutely LOVE the free service this provides, and would recommend it for anyone who doesn’t need service for more than calling and texting. However there are some bugs I’d like to address. Twice now with the same person it has made it so that I can’t see any of the texts I’m sending or that they are. I could still type, send, and receive massages, but I was unable to veiw our conversation. Another thing is that links to apps don’t work. My friends with try to send me links to pinterest video’s and it just takes me to a non existent website; please fix this. I also have a friend who uses a smart watch, so he often times try’s to send me audio messages, but for some reason it appears to me as a link that also try’s to send me to some non existent website. Amazing quality!!I had text now app for a long while and then I caught wind of their free cell service, I ordered a sim card and I installed it in my iPhone and activated it. Once I activated the sim card I went down the street and I was able to make and receive high quality audio calls and the texts send and receive fast, you truly get free cell service yes $0.00 with no WiFi I am able to call and text this is a wonderful thing!! I decided to transfer my cell number over to TextNow and it was a smooth and pleasant process that took less then 24 hours!! I transferred my number from Straight Talk to TextNow. There is no cell data included with the free plan but that’s ok with me I’ll just use the internet on WiFi, although if you wanted cell data TextNow has affordable options. What’s the catch you say ? App works great until it doesn’tSo I’ve been looking for a good app to use for text messages because I’d like to have a backup number to use for personal reasons. This app was one of the best that I’ve found. I recommended it to my friends and they enjoyed it as well. I’m giving it 2 stars however because the app is a complete lie. They tell you to text every so often (once a month) so that you can keep your number or it’ll be reassigned and you’ll have to get a new one. They also say you have a month until this happens. So being aware of this my friends and I every so often would text each other for weeks and have conversations to keep our numbers from being reassigned. The app reassigned one of my friends whom forgot to send a text (you only have to send 1 a month according to the app) so she had to get a new number. When she got her new number she was texting with it all the time and then she noticed she started to get emails saying she was about to lose the number from lack of texting. She kept texting with the number and they still reassigned it. We thought maybe it was a glitch so we let it go. But then the same thing happened to all of us. The app doesn’t give you a month like they claim, they will reassign your number no matter how frequently you use it and when you get a new number they’ll reassign you faster. It’s a very annoying way to get someone to pay to keep the number which none of us are doing. We’ve all deleted the app now and are looking for another one that isn’t a scam. After I started paying for my number textnow started blocking me for no reason except they would tell me that I violated terms and conditions but I wouldn’t be on the app for over 12 hrs and I would get a phone call so I answered it and immediately after my call ended they would hit me with the you are banned for an hr period and I would contact customer service and they would tell me let me check with my team and I would wait 10 mins on hold and they would come back and tell me ma’am the team said you definitely violated our terms and conditions so wait an hr and then u can use the app again. Terrible serviceI am new to TextNow. Loved it for a few hours but then tried to understand some of the options and differences among add-ons, subscriptions, premiums, etc. Their posted “help” articles were contradictory, so I used their chat help fcn w an agent. I followed all his instructions and was not able to get a new premium number unless I waited 15d. But he didn’t tell me that before I gave up my number. I continued to ask for clarification and then he abruptly disconnected the chat (after I had already been chatting and waiting for at least an hour). I continued to try to get a new number (as he had instructed). Then I got locked out and needed to recover my acct, which I attempted to do, but never received the email from them that it said I was supposed to. So I navigated around more, closed the app and reopened it, etc. And then my acct was completely suspended! Then I attempted to rechat but no one would pick it up. At least 10 minutes later an agent finally picked it up and said there is no account with my email/acct details. I’m still trying to resolve it, but this is terrible service. Been chatting for over 2 hrs and still not resolved!… …Someone finally paid attention and said they don’t support VPN… although I had t been having any problems w it while using VPN until this afternoon. Terms & violationsI not only had to use a whole new account because I got hacked. I had to delete all my contacts, messages and change the number on that account, because the hacker was messaging my family members and was very racist. This person was also able to change my email on my account. This person texted my TextNow number for multiple numbers at once. I tried to find a number to contact TextNow support, but that was a dead end over the phone with an automated operator and it hangs up. There’s never anyone in the chat, but the robotic representative and you aren’t able to text your own message only options they provide you with to click on. Here I am today with a new account with my new email address since my own one got hacked. I have two group chats with my family sending pictures of a hairstyle I want and in the other talking about a baby shower. Going back and forth in both groups. I am a fast typer at that. After sending the pictures of the hairstyle I want I get a message that says I am blocked from sending anymore messages that I went over my limit and I violated the terms. I am so confused and irritated. I sent nothing harmful, nor hacking or spamming anyone nor am I doing any businesses or commercial on this account. This is ridiculous and unethicalThis is absolutely ridiculous because I was a new user to TextNow. I had signed up for an account got a number I had bought a Sim card and the weekly subscription to lock in my number and yet that same day they had banned my account I am still paying for that weekly subscription because I can’t cancel it because they had banned my account. It charges my card every week. I’ve already gotten two charges from it. Logged out of my account info deletedUpdate: I reached back out in the chat and got a Natalie customer service rep. She was able to send me a link and look up my IP address and see that my account was hacked and the email changed. And the abuse email didn’t help either. Thanks Natalie for getting my account back! I have used text now since abt Nov 2021 which I know now cause I looked at when the app was installed. I have lost some really important contacts. Purchased subscription, lost number(2)I paid the $4.99/yr for locking my number, and now all of a sudden a month later i click on the app to try and look at what number i have so i can log back into my Telegram account that i needed it for, and it will only ask for me to choose a new number. Horrible appDon’t bother downloading this glitchy app. they have to make issues that they need to fix. i’ve been blocked from both accounts for no reason, they’ll say your account has been flagged for a violation but will not tell you why. if you don’t subscribe asap they will block your account, you won’t be able to logged in, and when you submit an appeal it will take a month for them to respond. if they think they didn’t make an error on their end with blocking your account they will not respond and you just won’t have access to your account. the chat agents aren’t helpful at all, they don’t even know how to fix the issues you’re having. one agent told me that i had to make a whole new Apple ID in order to subscribe to lock in my number all because my old account still had a subscription WHICH IS CANCELLED AND DELETED. it doesn’t make sense how a cancelled subscription messes with a new account and subscription. when you want to delete an account they will not actually delete it, they will just keep it blocked. But recently My use of it has been decreasing due to this one update that they added. Thinking that this app was so trustworthy I decided to use it as the main phone number to my Microsoft account. Bad serviceI’ve had you guys for almost 6 months. I called today because for the last 3 days my internet and hotspot were not working and my calls are dropping left and right. I get told that my unlimited plan has hit the limit. I asked how and they said I exceeded the monthly limit of 23GB and reached 25GB. I asked how is that possible because I just paid my bill on the 17th, it is now the 23 and I haven’t been able to use my phone because nothing has been working. They told me I was streaming movies and my phone calls have been on cellular data but not WiFi and using my video call. First my phone goes on airplane mode when I’m at work and I’m almost always in WiFi. There’s no possible way I used up that much. On top of that how am I using cellular data when 82% of my calls are dropped before I can even talk or the calls sound robotic and then drop. Last month I went from Florida to New Jersey and back, supporting 3 devices off of my hotspot and no WiFi for 8 days. And it still took me over 20 some odd days to run out of WiFi. I asked them to show me proof of what days used the most data because somewhere in the system it was wrong, and I was told a supervisor was coming to handle my issue. When the supervisor came I got accused of asking for a change or credit in my account. All I wanted was for them to show me where I used up more than 23GB, 25 to be exact, of data. So I’m just lying when I say I barely used my phone and almost all of my calls dropped? All I wanted was proof and if I’m wrong then I’m ok with that. It’s not the best...This app is great. Especially for me because I have an iPad, which means I cannot text phones from Samsung etc. This app is good because I could text my friends with phones from other providers. But, I faced many issues such as sometimes I would click on the app and it would shut me out and I would be back on the home screen after being in the app for about 3 seconds. I do get a lot of spam calls and a lot of people I don’t know txt me. It is really glitchy and sometimes I send messages and the person I am texting did not receive it. Another thing I didn’t like was I didn’t receive notifications most of the time when people texted me. One day I went on the app and all but the contact names went black. It shut me out of the app and I was back at the home screen. I tried many times getting back on the app, but it never worked. Then I got back on about a couple months later and I was logged out of my account! I can’t get back on and I don’t know what to do!! All of my text messages with my friends and family are gone. Will cancel your account without explanationI have used this app for several years. First stated having issues 1 year ago where my number was almost lost even though I had paid the subscription to keep my number. Now this week when I try to use the service I receive a message that my account has been terminated for violation of terms. However I have barely used the app in the last few months except for every once in a while and I am definitely sure I violated no terms as I have been using the app for several years. When I contacted customer service they informed me the account was closed for violation but are not able to tell me what the violation was and there is not appeal process to get reactivated. It is my feeling that they just wanted the subscription fee and then wanted to recycle my number to someone else. I do not recommend this app to anyone due to sketchy business practices and no business integrity. Dreadful Support! Dreadful useless app!#1: USE TALKU OR DINGTONE!! always guaranteed credits to earn through watching videos and playing games-very interactive! And one of the best for free-yes free international calls and texts that actually go through! It’s not perfect 100% of the time but it’s gotten so much better. Avoid TEXTNOW. You’re lucky if you can earn one credit a day. Constantly having problemsI’m thinking about returning to paying for my service bc honestly I can’t get it to do anything example would be that I just paid to have a VMware translated bc i couldn’t hear what was being said. It was very faint. I’ve done this several times thinking that I was going to get my messages n still even after paying for the translation i couldn’t get any access to what the individual was wanting to convey. So many times my calls get cut off. So many times when it’s an emergency I have to watch a commercial before I can make the calls I need to make. There’s no such thing as FREE service! Am not satisfied whatsoeverIf you are thinking of subscribing to TextNows wireless service you may want to reconsider. The free service is what it is and isnt too bad. But their paid wireless leaves much to be desired. Signals were sketchy at best despite being on Sprints network and you are given a number to use in their app (forget native calling and messaging) while the device has another number itself. My number was from Minnesota even though i live in Missouri. This creates problems for those who have loved ones incarcerated as prison systems read it as you are forwarding calls for an inmate and blocks their system from accessing your number. But the worst of all is trying to port your number to another carrier. Most everyone has ported a number before but I bet it didnt take over a week to do! TextNow holds your number for 4 business days before handing control over to another carrier. Thats what they claim anyway. Like I said over a week for me. And get this! You cant call them! If you have an issue customer service is available by chat only monday-friday 10:30am to 5pm. So for most people that means taking time from work to chat online with someone or sneaking in the chat while at work which your employer may not look favorably on. Yes if you dont use data much their plans sound like a good deal. But that deal comes with a price. Poor service technically and poor service to the customer. As for me I will check to see if any company I do business with in the future has a working telephone number and if not my business will be taken elsewhere. App is useless after latest updateIdk what happened to this app but it’s been complete garbage the last few days (both the iPhone and the iPad versions of the app). It completely overloads the device’s operating system or something because when I try to open the app whatever media is playing in the background (and would normally continue to play in the background) stops playing. This wouldn’t really bother me if it was the only problem, but from there it only gets worse. The app freezes and will not respond to any taps. I’ve tried task killing the app and then restarting it but nothing changes. I’ve also tried doing a soft reset/force re-starting the devices, and then trying the app again to see if it’s working, but that hasn’t helped either. At first I thought it was my phone but then I realized the same thing was happening on my iPad too, so it must be the app itself because I’m not having any issues like this with any other apps. I really wish/hope the developer fixes the app because this was my favorite messaging app (before the update). Glitchy and ads overwhelm the experienceTextNow is a great idea and provides a great service essentially - that you can have a free phone number and call North America from anywhere in the world -however the user experience is pretty bad. The app is slow, extremely glitchy, and the ads are meant to overwhelm your experience. The ad situation has gotten substantially worse in recent months. The standard bad ad experience on the app is that the ads pop up on the home screen constantly and they are hard to close. But recently I had the experience that video ads start playing through my calls and as the call time progresses the interval between the time the video ad plays gets shorter and shorter. So what happens is you're talking to someone and then an extremely loud ad (way above the call audio volume) starts playing over your call. You can shut it down but it will just start back up again a few moments later. Really unbearable. I am keeping the app because it's in its development stages and I'm hoping it will go in a different direction when it receives more funding. Scam subscriptionI’ve been using TextNow for years and decided to pay for premium number and subscription because I needed a reliable second line. Every time I subscribed (either with my card or through Apple wallet) they happily charged daily/weekly, locked the number so I couldn’t leave without losing it, and then completely out of nowhere the account gets permanently banned. No warning, no explanation, no specific rule i supposedly broke. Nothing in the app says “you violated this”. I just wake up one morning , try to login, and it says my account is closed forever. The number I paid to keep? Gone. All my messages ? Gone. And guess what they KEEP charging the subscription for days ( sometimes weeks) after the ban because the auto-renewal doesn’t stop. I’ve had this happen on THREE separate accounts now. Same pattern l: pay, get locked into the number , random ban, still charged after the ban. Customer support just says “ we can’t discuss ban reasons” and refuses to refund. This isn’t a glitch. This feels like a deliberate money-grab, force people to pay to keep their number , then ban their accounts without causes so users start over and pay again. STILL NO RESPONSE FROM TEXTNISOn July 27, 2024, TextNow disabled my plan, without warning. I initially signed up for the plan when I moved to Germany in 2019. Earlier this year I began experiencing problems with TextNow, including dropped calls and strange recordings stating that I “had reached my limit for calls for the day.” I considered the recording strange because I had paid $4.99 for an unlimited amount of calls and texts. On the day my service was disabled, I did notice a number in red being displayed in the top right-hand corner of the screen when I tried to make a call. Shortly, thereafter, when I tried to check my messages, the screen display indicated that I was not even a subscriber. I went to my email; searched for TextNow; and found an email that told me to verify my email address; I did; tried to log in; and could not. I submitted that I had forgotten my password and was still unable to sign in. When my daughter, who signed up in 2019 at the same time I did, tried calling my number, the recording said, The number you have reached is no longer in service.” I filed an appeal and have been waiting since July 27, 2024, for a response. Doesn’t work properlyI used to like this. Sure it had some lag issues, but I’ve never seen a VOIP that did not. I now use it as a backup line due to its unreliability. However, it’s useless if you want basic things like access to your google drive, as you need a paid subscription for verification texts of which pretty much everything requires these days. Most importantly, it doesn’t work with moderately older Mac products (will work on Androids of the same age), but it won’t tell you that; it misleads you by insisting you have the wrong log in.
