“Type” not “text”I think that a lot of these people writing the review are not understanding what its for. Lets review the title, “type n walk” meaning you can type whatever you want while walking. It does not say “text n walk” or “text message n walk” it was not designed to send only a message, but it has that capability to do so. My two cents :)My favorite part of this app isn't even mentioned by the description. It's hard to describe or explain but it saves whatever I've written when I close it or get a call and restores everything when I return to it. It's like a notepad. When I'm walking to school, I'll be writing something and when I get to a red light or when I have to stop somewhere I'll paste and send . Sometimes I even use it like a sticky note and write a reminder to myself. I love how simple and quick to open it is too. I think the person who gave the bad review isn't dumb but maybe didn't figure out that you are supposed to put it close to txt, tweetie, facebook and notes in a group on the same screen. He was probably flipping from page to page XD !!! Just kidding bro :) They really didn't do a good job explaining how you should use it..Goldenboy09Version: 0

Just get itI wish everyone would get this app too so they would stop bumping into me because they're too distracted by their phone and they forget to look up to see where they're going. This app would probably help them even more than it helps me. I'm docking a point because you have to select the contact when you send a text. Great, except...Perfect. It allows you to literally type and walk seamlessly--in busy hallways, up & down stairs, even on crumby sidewalks. Also it is noteworthy that this app allowed me to maintain my NYC walking pace while texting in the big apple...for those of you who don't understand, that is incredible! However, the makers should make updates that include landscape typing abilities and also the ability to turn on the flash for the newer iPhones. Very usefulYou really have to see this in person to understand what it does but I'll try to explain. It essentially turns your phone transparent so you can see through it. Sounds simple and it is but it turns out to have many practical uses beyond letting you "type n walk". Landscape keyboardI mainly use this in landscape mode because I have big fingers and I find the larger landscape keyboard more comfortable to type on. The thing is that this app uses the camera to generate the transparent screen effect but when you hold the phone in landscape mode, you have to be extra careful not to block the camera with your fingers or else you will only see a black screen. I wish the camera was located in the center of the phone and not at the corner. It's a good app so definitely get it but just be more careful if you prefer typing in landscape mode..SonatelVersion: 2.0

Cool concept but not practicalTried this app out yesterday while walking around the city and it really didn't make a big difference. The idea is really neat but you only see what is right in front of you so the chances of you avoiding things are not that high. Things above you or on the side won't be seen. I find that my periphery vision is much better at detecting things. This app has its own screen where you type. Great app and responsive developersAfter playing with this cool app, my mind started coming up with even cooler new ideas for it. I sent my ideas and suggestions to the developer and they told me that I had good ideas but unfortunately they would require the use of "private api's" that Apple doesn't allow developers to use. Landscape mode pleaseSeems cool enough but please, please, please add landscape mode. Holding it upright is slower typing and makes it hard to not cover the lens with your finger. I almost wish I'd payed the extra dollar for the other app with landscape mode, but this one lets you post directly to Facebook, etc. without exiting the app, and the other one you have to copy and paste everything. Great ideaThis is actually a pretty cool app. I didn't like it at first because it felt like too much stuff going on for my mind to take in at once but I'm getting used to it. The pasting is an intteruption as I have to stop walking for a couple of seconds to paste and send. But to be fair to them, I do spend most of the time writing and only a few seconds sending. Got me out of a sticky situationI was using this on the way to work and I saw someone coming down the street that I didn't really feel like talking to so I just kept my eyes on the screen and kept typing away to look too busy to see him. You do have to hold the phone a little higher than usual or else the video is pointing at the ground. Cool conceptIt's a transparent typing pad basically. Really simple idea but works suprisingly well. The only negative in my opinion is when you have to switch out of the app because during that time, it's obviously not transparent anymore. I find myself using this most of the time now for a quick tweet but I still have to fall back to Tweetbot for other stuff like managing lists or sharing videos or links or other stuff. See through the phone!This app gives the effect that the phone screen is like glass that you can see right through. It looks like they blur it a little too to help the words stand out more, kind of like a little hint of frosted glass. Sorry, butI would love to love this app. It's a great idea, but it just doesn't work. Although seeing my way up the street as I type is keen, I don't hold the phone vertical to type, so I'm really only seeing what I can see anyway. It's awkward to hold the phone upright to get full benefit of the app. Also, there's no way to automatically shunt the text to your chosen app (typically, one would think, SMS). So you have to laboriously click the send, click SMS, click the recipient (each time!), and click the send again to actually send each message. And the camera is NOT on for any of that, so you're blind during that part of the process. Sorry. I can't recommend..DLite5345Version: 1.2.2

DumbThis app is dumb for a few reasons. First, you're just wandering with your phone pointed like you're taking video. See the icon for this app where the little guy is so satisfied in his texting, looking at an angle toward the ground? Well that little guy wouldn't be able to navigate at that angle.
