From Theodore Gray comes a beautifully produced app introducing and educating users on the elements of the periodic table and how they combine to form the world around us. The Elements is a rich and engaging love story, told in words and pictures - allowing you to experience the beauty and fascination of the building blocks of our universe in a way you've never seen before.

Start off on a living periodic table where every element is shown with a smoothly rotating sample. To read about gold, tap the gold nugget. Immediately you see the sample filling the screen, photographed to razor sharpness and rotating around a complete circle in front of your eyes. Enjoy the extensive array of facts and figures. Next find a fascinating story about the element, surrounded by carefully photographed objects representing it. Every one of these objects, well over 500 in total, is a freely rotatable, live object that you can examine from all sides and pinch zoom to see in unprecedented detail.

Touch the element name at the top of the page and you can see that element’s name in over a dozen different languages. Choose one and you’ll find that the entire book, stories, captions and all, switches to that language: The Elements includes both the full English original text and over a dozen full translations.

Pinch-zoom or tap any object to bring it up full screen, where you can split into a pair of stereo 3D images, allowing you to see all 500 objects pop off the screen in 3D, and you can spin the objects, in 3D, with the touch of a finger.

This book will show everyone there’s a lot more to the periodic table than a bunch of numbers and letters.

Features include:

• Beautifully composed pages for every Element in the periodic table
• Fun stories and fascinating facts
• All objects pinch-zoom with amazing detail and rotate in 3D
• Engaging introduction explaining the structure of the periodic table
• Engaging introduction explaining the structure of the periodic table
• Fully translated into English, Catalan, Croatian, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish

The Elements by Theodore Gray Positive Reviews

Literally the best thing everTheodore Grey is an amazing writer and this shows. It is basically the book (which I love to death, it is the reason why I love chemistry so much I decided to major in it) except with moving 3D images and an awesome song! Highly recommend. If I could suggest one thing, I wish that this app included the extra info that is is the iPad version, but this is still awesome! 6/5.Version: 3.1.1

Great Product! This is probably the coolest application I have ever downloaded for educational purposes, there are great discriptions of each element and the pictures are very high quality. My only complaint is that when you purchase the application for your iphone it is not compatable with your macbook and you have to buy another $20 application. its really conveninet to have on your phone so you can pull it up throught the day, but in class or while doing homework the computer version would be much more efficent, I dont think users should pay for both platfoms..Version: 2.0.7

Amazing app!!! But it NEVER crashed on me.I usually get too bored playing normal apps. This the best thing to use especially when I get bored. Also, when I don’t have the book itself (yes I do have the book this app is based on). I am not sure if (other ;3) kids would like this but...at least I do....Version: 3.1.1

LOVE The Japanese Version of "The Song" 👏😀As well as being a FANTASTIC GRAPHICAL AND TEXTUAL information resource for the Periodic Table, I have to admit that I will sometimes just run the App to hear the Japanese Version of the "Element Song"! Plus, don't forget their Molecules app as well! Having SCIENCE with a SENSE OF HUMOR is GREAT, as well as being VERY WELL DONE! Scientists, TAKE NOTE!.Version: 3.1.3

Amazing appThis app is engaging and beautifully done. Not just for chemistry students! We have the book and I'm glad we got the app too. Recommend it for all ages! Even my preschooler and elementary school kids are fascinated with and play with this app. We got the parallel Elements Flashcard app and it is a game to them..Version: 2.0.7

AmazingThis has got to be one of the most brilliant educational apps for the iPad. Even if you think you aren’t into chemistry or physics, the pictures and stories make this VERY worthwhile. Check it out!!.Version: 3.1.3

The must-have science app...Even if you know nothing about chemistry! I wish I had this back when I was in high school. The graphics were really good and worked without any internet connection, which I appreciated..Version: 3.1.1

Douglas Adams would be proud. This app is deserving of any respect and honor a scientific mind could offer. it’s a masterpiece of modern technology & wit. So long, and thanks for all the fish!.Version: 3.0.1

Good, needs an updateI loved this app, it was very well done, and the photography was splendid. But there are some new elements that need to be updated, and I have some ideas: Nihonium: Flag or coat of arms of Japan Moscovium: Same thing but with the Moscow Oblast Tennessine: Same thing but with Tennessee Oganesson: A picture of Yuri Oganessian Thanks, bye, great job! :D.Version: 2.0.7

Persian Language 🇮🇷Please fully support this app for Iranian and add Persian language 🇮🇷 More than 110M people speaking Persian but no Persian language in the app....Version: 2.0.7

Nice support and a great App!Not many apps are supported for a decade but this app will be. They’ve remained committed to it and many are grateful!.Version: 3.1.1

😀I love this app! I have so much fun with it!.Version: 3.0.1

Update the UIPlease update the UI to match modern apps, you’re still using skeuomorphic buttons and the like..Version: 3.1.1

Update? How about an update? There are at least some new element names....Version: 2.0.7

Amazing appThis is such an amazing app. I was stunned by the great graphics, the enormous amount of information and has not crashed once on me in several weeks. I think the last update (Version 1.0.2.1) has improved the crashing. Also love the stereo images -- they really POP if you put your eyes in the right orientation. The easiest way for me was to cross my eyes just a bit and then the two images fuse and voila - you have 3D!! Thanks so much for such a wonderful iPad experience. The photographs are amazing and of the highest quality (this is the main reason it's such a big download I think) and really love Tom Lehrer's song. WIsh the lyrics were included (but there is all the images in the right sequence and synched to the song) and that you could rewind/fast-forward the song to specific positions, as it gets tiring listening to the entire song every time. Perhaps adding a normal QuickTime scroll bar to the movie? I really wish all e-books had this much thought and imagination applied to their content - this is a truly amazing example of what e-books should aspire to..Version: 0

Elements is nice...Touch Press is great and all, but please don’t brand each app icon. It’s an eyesore..Version: 2.1.0

Nice appEducational and interesting.Version: 2.0.7

GoodGood but, how do I change to Celsius to farinhieght?.Version: 3.0.0

AWESOMEFirst off... yes the app takes up a gig or more of space. BUT this is the more beautiful well done app I have ever seen! Even if you don't take chemistry this is a beautiful tool to show not just chem students but children alike. I am starting Chemistry in college shortly which is a requirement for my degree field in Nanotechnology, and because of this app i cannot wait to start! Most of the complaints on here you will notice are on the space it takes, not the app itself which is amazing. Purchase it and you will see why it takes up about 2.5 GB.... cause it is amazing. ALSO: With syncing you can just sync the program to your ipad when you need it, seeing as how you won't be saving anything to this program anyway. AND for those complaining about this app size, one movie takes up about the same amount of space, and even more if you get the HD version. Just get it you won't be sorry. Well done to this app developer.Version: 0

IntriguingI just finally got around to buying this after having been interested in it since it's debut. Apart from a few low resolution 3D captures it's perfect. It really shows what touch media can do and i hope that developers will continue to embrace the format and offer up high quality interactively functional media. The one thing i would love to have in this app, it a basic text window, either an transparent overlay, or window that would allow for note taking, or whatever text one might feel a need to write about that could be saved as iPad text files etc. iPod integration would be nice too, I'd like to listen to music while studying or viewing the app. Some have complained about crashing? I've viewed nearly all the elements without problem. I think it's a great app, A lot of work went into formatting etc, so i'd say it's worth the money..Version: 1.0.2.1

Gorgeous and novel, but...Why no portrait support? The principal design constraint offered by apple has been the damned that apps be orientation agnostic if at all possible. I can see how you mightn't want to do that on the menu screen, but the individual element screens seem like great opportunities. Also, please consider dropping the 3d business or letting me click a box indicating that I don't plan to throw my money down that hole. I don't want to double tap a picture and be ushered into a gift shop style preview of what life might be like if only I had some cool shades. Lastly, and this is minor because I suspect that it will be fixed shortly--the app crashes (I am using the revision w/ the new 117 info) when I attempt to swap landscape orientations. I am fine with fast updating effectively beta software, but the updates are gargantuan! I don't want to have to pull 3 updates a week for minor bug fixes if each download is 300MB. Just imagine users on 3G..Version: 0

These are the apps you were looking forSo you bought your shiny new iOS device with all that extra storage? Excellent decision! Because this is a classic example of what kind of app belongs on your iPhone or iPad. You and your family will enjoy using this, and appreciate the thought and care that went into those animations. (I also own the gorgeous print edition of this book, the app just gets more reading time and general use) It is informative and fun to read and even little ones will like spinning crystals and other elemental objects while you explain their significance. Little Scientists need to start somewhere! The fact that I can carry these (I also own the companion apps -they're different but so worth it) all on my phone and get them on my iPad too at no extra charge (same account) is truly amazing..Version: 2.0.5

20********************Five stars is way too few. This app raises the bar. I teach Lower School science and have video of fifth grade boys dancing to the elements song while looking at one of the three posters we have related to this app. But now! I can't wait until school starts, and we just got out for the summer yesterday, to show this to the students next year. If the poster and the song got them that interested in becoming familiar with the range and characteristics of the elements, imagine the exploration when our posters come alive. You have spoiled me for all my other apps. Thank you for your work, your dedication, and your creativity and for and from all the students in the future who will understand and enjoy chemistry in a way we never thought possible..Version: 0

Problems UpdateThe Elements is a wonderful book for the iPad. It is informative and beautifully rendered. However, the recent update causes it to crash at almost every change of page. This is disappointing, because there is so much to learn from The Elements. Another disappointment is the fact that I ordered the special glasses for viewing 3D, but alas they never arrived. Excellent start, so now, let's update and polish this app - please! I want to amend the above review. Today I synced with my desktop computer, and the iPad version of The Elements has not crashed since. Also, in today's mail, the 3-D viewer arrived. Thus, my change from 3 stars to 5 stars. It is really a remarkable app!!.Version: 0

Missing something...Doesn't feel like an essential (lol) app anymore. There's nothing that cannot be found in his Elements In Action and a good reference app like EleMints or Wolfram-Alpha proper. Missing mass spectroscopy lines and other pertinent info that is included on the flashcards (paper, not app) & book. Kinda clunky in its display, though it loads smoothly. Ok app in the $3-5 range, not more. Not sure how much it took to produce this, so I do not want to discredit the designers & author; I do enjoy the paper flashcards & book. But I won't mince words: I don't remember there being info cribbed from Wolfram-Alpha in the physical copies or this app in 2010; even if it makes it easier to keep entries up to date, I would have liked to have seen the original info; or entries comparable to other periodic apps. Seemed the book was less minimalist. It's cool to see actual examples, but I wanted more..Version: 2.0.5

Shows the power of the iPadThis is a wonderful app!! This is what the iPad is all about. This is educational, fun, amusing and visually stunning. Makes me wish I had paid more attention in chemistry (but, then, I had a dull teacher). I've had this over two weeks and have used it many, many times with never a crash. I'm not sure what's causing this with other users, but it may be something interacting with remnants of other apps left in memory. I've found that after using some apps (mostly games), it's good to reboot and clean out memory. This is a bargain at 14 bucks; I'd pay twice as much for it if I had to..Version: 0

Unable to purchase complete bundleThe element program is wonderful and provides visuals and history and knowledge of the stuff the world is made of. My disappointment was when the App Store would not allow me to buy the 3 app bundle. I sent email to company and they have been slow to respond. It is frustrating that I tried to purchase the entire bundle and it only downloaded the element app. I hope it's not some incompatibility to iPad Pro or the latest iOS. I was also noticing the 3D ability would glitch and only rotate one of the two images, so it would pop in and out of 3D. The images would not turn in synchronization and even freeze. Minor issues I hope they get resolved..Version: 2.0.6

Very enjoyable reading about and looking at the elementsI waited a while before updating as a few reviews reported problems afterward. But I just upgraded and everything works fine. This book is very nicely done. The pictures are very beautiful and the rotation very fluid. I have to laugh at the complaint that it is a memory hog as the app size is right in the info under the buy icon. This is a good "break" book as you can read and look at the elements and objects a little at a time. The author has a good sense of humor and overall I like the commentary on the elements. I have no regrets on my purchase of this app..Version: 0

The future in publishing, but here today.Other than a feature to permanently silence the song, which is good for one listen, this is nearly perfect. If you have any interest in the elements that make up yourself and the universe around you, get it. Many have asked whether the iPad is more than just another ebook reader. This app demonstrates how powerful a teaching tool the iPad can become with a properly constructed app. I can't wait to see a biochemistry, physics, or math text book made in this fashion. When they appear, those of you with the foresight to buy a 64GB iPad will find total satisfaction..Version: 0

Storage hog! This is a beautiful app, the look/ feel/ responsiveness are all top notch and it's well worth the price. But here's the thing, unlike many (more well designed) apps, all of the content is stored on the iPad rather than on a remote server. Storage on our iOS devises is valuable stuff, in fact the average cost per Gb is about $15. In my opinion his is a high price to pay to store local data on my iPad when this app could consume less than 20Mb of space. Basically my complaint being that I don't need this data "offline" enough to warent the size it consumes. It's a fantastic app with an equally fantastic flaw. I hope to see the content moved to an online server in some upcoming version..Version: 2.0.0

A helpful app...I've been really enjoying this app. As a G. Chem student, it definitely helps bring to life the words in the textbook. And it's pretty fun to show people...with decent attention spans. It IS on the more expensive side, but personally I find that it's worth it. As far as the persistent crashing is concerned, I too experienced the frustration. Especially after the update. However, I read some reviews about rebooting the iPad (by holding down the sleep/wake and home buttons), tried it for myself and...WALA, it's been rock solid since. Many thanks to the developers!.Version: 0

Beautiful eye candy, thin on contentWhile the photos are beautiful, the text content leaves much to be desired. It is long on the author's personal opinion, commentary, and anecdote; short on facts, history, chemistry, industrial applications and commercial information. Personally I never get tired of reading the venerable CRC Handbook section titled "The Elements". My suggestion is to license that content and make it available in the application. In fact that is sort of what I was hoping to find here. I don't regret spending the money for the app, but mainly it is valuable to me because I already have deep knowledge in chemistry and physics. To a student, or someone coming from another field, I think it would have much less value..Version: 2.0.0

Wish I had known the file sizeBefore purchasing. It just isn't practical to tie up that much of the iPad for this, as neat as it (probably) is. Frankly I never downloaded it, and tried to get a refund. Apple wasn't interested in providing one because I categorized the complaint as "Application does not perform as expected" (meaning the filesize is ridiculous). Whoops! There went $14 (very expensive for an App). Maybe if I was taking a chemistry class it would be worth hogging all that storage for this, but basically I wasted my money and feel a bit ripped off..Version: 0

GreatI am old fart who paid more attention to music (sax & keyboards) and sports, than science when I was in high school. My loss. Things often change when you get older. Anyway, this book is phenomenal, and shows what textbooks could be like in the future. Believe me, if this had been available when I was in high school, I would have done a lot better in chemistry, and paid a lot more attention, than I did. Of course, there would have been a lot fewer elements included in the book. This interactive book is worth every penny..Version: 0

Beautiful app. Needs a couple of tweaks. This is a gorgeous app, with a wealth of information that's presented in an extremely engaging fashion. If I'd had this in high school, I might actually have stayed awake during Chemistry. It does need a couple of tweaks to be perfect, however. First, it only rotates into Landscape mode in one direction, so that if you're using the Apple iPad case in its "propped up" configuration, The Elements is upside down. Secondly, the app needs to be updated to include element 117, which was announced today. But I think I can let the devs off on that one...for a while, anyway. ;).Version: 0

As good as the book! A must-buy for all ages!Having known the author and collector behind the photos in this application and the book it is based on, as well as being a fan of the monthly "Gray Matter" article in Popular Science, I highly recommend this app as an excellent source of information on all the elements, as well as an awe-inspiring picture book of the building blocks of our universe. I would love to see more photos of the elements, as seen on the website, and more examples and stories about them. As the app stands, it is simply stunning. 5/5 Stars for Excellence!.Version: 0

FabulousThe Elements: A Visual Exploration. This app is big, beautiful, and expansive in scope and information. When bought with it's sister app, "The Elements in Action" you can view the stats and read about each in "the Elements" then toggle to view them in use or "Action". The text is comprehensive, and the photos - which can be viewed and rotated in 3D are stunning. This is really a terrific learning tool for older elementary students through adults. Since I bought the sister app at time of purchase, I do not know if there is IAP for it. There are no ads or links. Highly recommended..Version: 2.0.0

The way books should beA superb demonstration of the potential of the iPad. If more books of this sort were of this quality, I'd be happy to shell out the (relatively) hefty price. But then again, compared To what the typical iBooks book is going for, offering nothing but static printed pages, Elements is a bargain. Hoping this developer comes out with more titles! My only criticisms of this app is that it does crash periodically. And I'd like to see a more interactive view of the periodic table itself that describes the various classes/groups of elements (rather than only taking you to the individual element pages)..Version: 0

Excellent, Engaging and FunI bought this to further my nine year-old son's interest in science. He loves it, and so do I. The text is very interesting, and written to be fully understood by someone with no scientific background. The author's enthusiasm is infectious, the photographs are fantastic and his enthusiasm is addictive. To be clear, this app is an introduction to the Elements. It has one or two pages devoted to each element, with very beautiful photographs. Every photo was made from 360 degrees, and will rotate if you flick it. It doesn't replace a chemistry textbook by any means. I highly recommend this beautiful and interesting app..Version: 1.0.2.1

An Absolute Must-HaveAlthough this app makes a great showcase to impress your friends with your newest iOS device, it goes far, far beyond that. Specifically, what makes this App amazing is Mr. Gray’s fantastic descriptions of each and every element. Concise, accurate, and most of all, interesting, I directly attribute my son’s love of science to this App (and later Mr. Gray’s works in print). I have purchased over 500 Apps since I bought my first iPhone but The Elements stands out as my single favorite purchase. You will get lost in this, especially if you have children. Buy it..Version: 2.0.3

Great, but expensivePro: It's a great multimedia app, localized to a lot of languages, including Russian. It's best with Elements in Action application. You can really feel each element: scientific data, pictures, stories and (with EiA) videos. Cons: It takes too much memory, so this app is often the first candidate for deletion. Could we use some compression technology "on the fly", unload unused languages, have a choice of high/low resolution? Also the price is too big by AppStore standards. Advice / feature request: it would be nice to see atoms and crystal pictures as larger 3D models. Also the way to change pages is counter-intuitive..Version: 2.0.4

Simply AmazingThe Elements and WolframAlpha are enough to buy an iPad. The word "Elegance" doesn't even touch these apps. While I'm currently obtaining a degree in Computer Science, my thirst for knowledge of mathematics and physics as become unquenchable. These apps help to supply some aid to that hunger. The addition to the opening song about the periodic table of elements at the beginning of this application acts as a study guide for myself in memorizing these! Nothing but 5/5 stars all the way, big application or not, it will continue to stay on my iPad for the remainder of it's life..Version: 0

A Wonderful App/E-Book for the InquisitiveBuy This App. A work of art, and of science. I highly recommend it, but don't be discouraged by the (mentioned elsewhere) crashing. I don't regret the purchase nor price tag of this app, but I do hope the author is monitoring these comments to realize there is still a problem. (I could very well expect an iOS bug just as likely as a coding error by the author—this application "goes where no e-book has gone before" and I imagine it is pushing the limits for now.) I do look forward to future works by this author, too...hint, hint: MMa for the iPad? Regards..Version: 0

ApplicationJ’adore les présentations. Les textes et explications sont claires et la qualité des vulgarisations sont excellente. Je recommande cette application à ceux et celles qui veulent débuter des études en chimie. Vous ne le regretterez pas..Version: 3.1.1

The ElementsThis app works beautifully on the iPhone with iOS version 10 or 11. It’s strange to see most of the elements in picture form versus their chemical symbol, especially on a small screen such as the iPhone 5 series. I would suggest both screens: pictures and chemical symbols, that the user could choose from. Otherwise, great job with much information on some practical applications of each element. Benoit Doiron, P. Chem. Member Order of Chemists, Québec.Version: 2.1.0

I use the pirate app when I was in China. Time to say sorry. Time to pay.Extremely Helpful For The People Who Love Chemistry..Version: 2.0.7

Improved 3D options makes it even betterMy complaint about the lack of cross-eye viewing has been fixed so this app is even better (though I gave it 5 stars before) One other feature request is that it would be nice if you could pinch to zoom in some more when you are on the page with the enlarged view. Some of the object have fine detail that would be nice to inspect closer. For space reasons you might have to disable the rotation and only have zoom in on the "front" side. Well worth the money. (The large size is a necessity for all the photos included. But I made the mistake of clicking update on my iPad (thinking it would be a small patch not the whole multi-GB app). Luckily pausing the app download and syncing it from iTunes worked.).Version: 0

Not that greatIt looks really beautiful and it's a nice way to show off an iPad, but it's actually a fairly static interface. I expected more interactivity for the price. (Not that I know how to write an app!) And, as mentioned, it's fiendishly large and takes forever to download/update..Version: 0

UpdatesI love this program, but the updates are to big and take forever to download. 1.71 G update takes forever, please fix this..Version: 0

BeautifulI love this app, I couldn't find so much information on the elements in one place before..Version: 0

Beautiful but big have to connect to get infoPretty much that says it all... One short intro on each element (which is great) but then for everything else you have to connect to the internet.... Add all the extra info and I'll give it five stars easy..Version: 0

Nearly perfectGreat writing and unique, engaging presentation ideal for the subject matter... and that's what matters. Not quite perfect: the multimedia presentation is a bit gimmicky and limited, and 90% of the pictures I don't need to spin, let alone see in 3D. And the Wolfram Alpha data on each element is a bit of a shrug to me. But the writing is solid, and many of the pictures are beautiful and beautifully presented. If the author and publisher had invested more in the content -- i.e. longer captions for the pictures, introductions to groups of elements -- I would have given it five stars. Still, look at the non-existent competition. The Elements stands alone in the app store! I would buy something similar in a heartbeat ... but there is nothing else like it to buy. Quite a coup. I will always remember it as my first really satisfying ebook. Sooooooo many metals ... :).Version: 0

Only supports landscape orientationStunningly beautiful eBook. Warning: This app only supports landscape orientation on one side, which means it's on the wrong side when you're using the iPad case in "bezel" mode. UPDATED REVIEW for v1.0.1.3. The orientation problem is fixed. Now works in both landscape orientations..Version: 0

LOVE IT!!!If this app (and iAnything) existed when I was a high-school student, I might have actually appreciated chemistry. Brilliant design and great information delivered with delightful humour. Who knew chemistry could be so entertaining!?.Version: 1.1.1

Good...A pretty good app, great images, lots of info, fast, interactive, but like all apps, has it's a few problems. Such as, crashing a few times, no zooming in on pictures, and mass download. But an update could fix some of those problems. It's a good app if you need the knowledge, but it's just for viewing purposes, I wouldn't get it at the current price..Version: 0

Great information hard to findA 1.7G educational application is definitely rich on content, but UI and interaction are too complicate to new users like me..Version: 2.0.0

Quite elemental my dear......This is the app to really show off your iPad! It's interactive and a fun way to learn science. I just wish this kind of stuff was available when I was in school. Pros: - Spinning objects - Great photography with high resolution - Interesting and humorous write-ups on each element - No problems with stability on my iPad - Cost, worth it in my opinion - Ability to see objects in 3D with special glasses Cons: - Down loading. Had to down load to my computer first - Size (but I knew about that) - It would be nice to pinch items larger (especially the home screen). - A little more data about about typical uses and where mined would be useful..Version: 1.0.2.1

The good, bad, suggestions, and verdict. The good: content is fantastic, solid info, great visuals. Useful Wolfram Alpha integration for element specifics. Nice search function, beautiful rotating pictures of elements and items containing them. Nice intro song. The info, I find, is not only i interesting and useful, but also as relevant to our daily lives as possible. Under Bismuth, for example, there is a rotatable bottle of Pepto-Bismol, containing Bismuth Subsalicytate - the active ingredient that is part of the product's name. The bad: steep price, large file. Interface is merely satisfactory, and although there was clearly a lot of work put into this app, there remains much to be desired. Although the rotating pictures are beautiful, they are mostly superfluous, an in my mind contribute little towards what should be the purpose of the app - teaching people about the elements. The writing is solid, but I feel there's some left to be desired, as some of the writing seems to be filler. Suggestions: what about some options? For example, to label the periods/groups? What about zoom capabilities, because the interface is rather static? Other diaplay options would be nice. Also, and this is rather important - you should be able to listen to music while in the app. It is rather frustrating; I would use the app far more often if I could have some music in the background. I doubt I'm alone in this view. Verdict: do I regret paying the $13.99? Of course not. I would buy it again. There are many apps I have bought that I wish I hadn't - this is definitely not one of them. Yet, there are definitely some improvements that I would like to see. Despite the problems I pointed out, I still think it's a great app, and fills an important niche in the app store. I wouldn't heaitate to buy it if you have any interest in the elements or to learn about the building blocks of our universe..Version: 1.0.2.1

AmazingThis app is amazing. I don't care how much it costs and how much memory it takes up. I love it. But I like updates and that doesn't happen too often..Version: 0

Very goodVery good.Version: 0

Pretty but get it at 50% off saleIt's cute, but after a few looks you'll never use this app again so I'm glad I didn't pay full price or I'd feel scammed..Version: 0

GreatThis app is very useful and provides multiple pictures and explanations about where and how the elements are either farmed or created. It also provides info about the elements at molecular level, which is useful as well.Version: 2.0.3

Cut-off textSome text in the end of each element description seems to be cut off. Will it be fixed in a future update?.Version: 2.0.4

ExcellentWonderful app. I would like to see the spectrum of the elements as well..Version: 2.0.0

CantennaWow! Looks great on iPad 3. Please update other apps for retina too. Thanks!.Version: 1.1.1

Awesome!I could barely put it down until I read them all, which took almost 2 days! Great graphics, great write ups, great 3D rotating objects. And for those that want them to 'fix' the fact that it is 1.7GB, (118 elements) x (~6 rotatable objects) x (~20 frames of rotation) x (~100kB per frame)=??? Do the math.
