Delisted my Tickets!I will never use StubHub again! I purchased 4 tickets for a Cubs game. I was concerned about the seats right away, and had multiple conversations over several weeks with them about my concerns. I was assured the seats were together (even despite there being a listing from another sale, in the same section, with seats between mine!) I eventually relisted the seats, using the "realist tickets" option on the StubHub website, and purchased other tickets elsewhere for peace of mind. The week of the event I was notified that I listed my seats incorrectly. I was told I would have to delete my Listing, and list my tickets as sets if two, and I would need to enter the ticket SKUs. I explained that I purchased 4 tickets, together, and it seemed shady I couldnt sell them together as a set of 4. I did delete my listing, and entered all the SKUs (despite being a resale), and relisted my tickets. I was then notified the DAY OF THE GAME, as I was on my way to the game, that StubHub had deactivated my listing. They stated I needed to re-enter everything again. Fake tickets but replacement seatsMe and my dad bought tickets for Melanie Martinez a few days prior to the event. It said we would receive tickets day of. I was with a friend in school telling her that we were going to the concert and I started looking in Ticketmaster bc she was wondering if she could get cheap tickets i scroll a little bit and find my section, my row, and one of my 2 seats that we bought from stub hub on the Ticketmaster website, I was immediately worried that the tickets were fake, day of the tickets never came and around 5:30pm (event started at 6:30/7:00 ) and told us our tickets were fake. I immidietly got upset and a little after their yapping they told us we could get replacement seats or refund. We chose replacement seats because we were already halfway to the arena and we still had to pay convince fee for tickets they scammed us for! We got lucky for the replacements they are not garunteed at all. The replacement seats ended up being so much better then the seats we had got though but they still need better control of the resellers on the site. NEVER AGAIN!!!StubHub is running a major scam and I hope they are being investigated. They “guarantee” your ticket purchase to get you to buy, but then do NOT fulfill their agreement. They lied to me multiple times to try to get out of their “guarantee.” I bought Taylor Swift tickets and they were not delivered. When I called customer service multiple times, they put me off until the date of the concert saying they were finding replacement tickets. The tickets they offered me were all significantly worse than the ones I purchased and they claimed they couldn’t offer me similar or better tickets because they wouldn’t be available right away. They talked me into accepting worse tickets with a tiny StubHub voucher as a last resort (because I already traveled to another city for the concert) and said the tickets would arrive immediately. They said I should accept the tickets and then contest the transaction on the back end. They claimed they put in a claim for a partial refund based on my terrible experience. When I called back for a status the next week, they told me my refund was being processed and asked me to provide a debit card for the money to go to. I called back a few days later (because I had received nothing) and was told they would not provide a partial refund and would not allow me to speak with anyone who could consider my request. Double ticket scamI have only purchased from here 2 times and both times they completely failed me miserably! I bought an over priced parking ticket that was completely useless with terrible instructions that did not work that was $50 and when looking around the empty parking lot it was only $6. I called for a refund and the lady hung up on me. So, I let it go since I was at the kings game and wasn’t gonna let that ruin my day. Now, for the second time.. I just bought my fiancé and her family tickets to the NFL Munich game since they live near and when they arrived they were told it was a double ticket and they have been used already.. that they won’t be able to get in since the tickets are completely sold out. After calling stubhub they stated sometimes you just need to show the ticket box and they should give you tickets after completely explaining to them that it’s sold out and they tried to enter and buying other tickets. After literally mentioning this they apologized that they do not have alternate seats. Like bro did I not just mention to you that the game is sold out? Stubhub How do you guys mess up that bad? But don’t worry I’ll be expecting my full refund in 5-6 business days. Got my eyes on my account everyday until then! Worst Experience Ever!!!!!I had the worst experience ever! I bought my ticket 3 months before the concert to be ready and have my ticket. After I bought the ticket it said it was going to be ready the day of the event and got my anxious all the 3 months because I didn’t had the ticket on my hand. The day of the concert came and it was already 10 am and didn’t had my ticket. I chatted with the customer service several times to get my ticket but at the end I couldn’t get the original ticket I paid for. Customer service was available thank God and they responded fast. I was already in the theater when they gave me the option to replace my original ticket with a new one. The new ticket was cheaper (when I was looking for the best ticket, I saw the price) than the one I bought since it was more far away :c but at the end I had the option that replace it or get my money back. I felt really sad at the beginning looking all the people laughing and enjoying while they were in line and I couldn’t do the same because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to enter to the concert. I do not recommend to buy your tickets here people! Customer service was great but if you are buying your ticket for an event you always dreamed to attend don’t risk it! I had physical effects (I suffer of anxiety) too, due to the lack of responsibility. I still think if I had had my original ticket I could of see the singers really close like I wanted my whole life. I implore you, do not use stubhub as a service.Stubhub is quite literally the definition of a scam. I purchased tickets to a Gareth Emery show that started at 9pm. I decided late to attend the show, so I bought my tickets shortly after 10pm. I received a confirmation email for my order, than another email 13 minutes later stating my tickets have been transferred and I should be receiving them soon. I never received my tickets. Stubhubs chat and customer service also closed at 10pm. I tried to use their live chat but received a response that they were closed, and tried to call and was told they were closed. I called the next day to get a refund. After providing proof that my tickets weren’t delivered, I received the decision that I would not get my refund because I did not contact stubhub before/during the event. I had to call back to remind them that when I purchased my tickets, they were closed. The last person I spoke to was a supervisor who was so adamant about me not getting a refund whatsoever, I am convinced this is just apart of their practice as a business. He even proceeded to say that stubhub is open 24/7 and that I could have called or tried live chat. It clearly says on their website that they are open from 5-9 Pacific time (i’m looking at it right now) yet he insisted it says they’re open 24/7, which is a blatant lie. Horrible customer serviceI bought watsky/hobo Johnson tickets in 2019 (way before the pandemic) and the date got moved as usual and eventually watsky decided to cancel his concert because he didn’t see a point in the concert if it had to keep getting moved and postponed even longer and he felt bad. So stubhub sent out an email saying “you could click on this link to get 120% credit sent to your account or you can do nothing for this email and don’t click the link to get your money refunded” naturally I wanted the money back, I have a 4 month old who requires a lot so that would’ve been very helpful. I NEVER got it. I went to the websites help center and it said oh well just click on “request refund” if you didn’t want your credit, on the appropriate credit you have, well that wasn’t an option. I tried multiple times, and I wasn’t going to sit on the phone for 4 hours to wait to be told the same thing over and over. So I @ them on Twitter and FINALLY I got help. Or so I thought. They made me jump through so many hoops, only for them to say “this is stressing us out and we have other people to help” BUT I WASNT HELPED?? Stub Hub is a complete joke and so is it’s fan protection policyBought tickets for an Eagle’s 10/30 game back in June! Suspicious of my tickets right away but waited patiently for them to be delivered. The day came and went of when my tickets were to be delivered so I called to inquire. I was told that there was a minor issue with the barcode but I would have them in the next 24 hours. 24 hours came and went and nothing. So I proceeded to call again, with 3 days until my event I was getting more and more concerned. The next lady told me that yes they were still working on fixing the problem and I would have them within 24 hours of the event. The day before came and still NO TICKETS! So I proceed to call for a 3rd time, got hung up on because I wanted to talk to a manager because she told me to give it until 3 hours before my event when we had travel plans in place for this game!!!! Obviously no trust in them at this point! I call for the 4th time, with no resolution I was told I could either pick different tickets or refund, however the tickets presented to me under the bogus “fan protection” were nose bleeds when I had paid for club level seats! Horrible. All a scam.I used stubhub to purchase Ari Lennox tickets and bought the tickets a few hours before the show. It had me pay with Apple Pay and it seemed legit and the app seemed high quality. Shortly after buying it said my tickets were “delivered” and to check my email because they would be coming from a third party sender and not from stubhub. Told me to find their email and “accept” the transfer. Well there were never any tickets sent. I checked my junk Mail, my inbox, and my Ticketmaster account which uses the same email as my stubhub account and nothing ever came. I realized this all when I was in the Uber on the way to the concert. I ended up contacting them after because I had gotten to the concert and ended up just buying tickets straight from Ticketmaster, and they told me since I didn’t contact them the day of the event they couldn’t issue me a refund or do anything. It seems wild that you can just “buy a ticket” and stubhub will let you do that without even verifying first that it actually exists and will be transferred to you. Why are they trusting third parties to do this versus stub hub just getting it from the third party first and THEN transferring it to the buyers so they can verify and know that the transaction will be complete without issue. Do not purchase hereWe purchased concert tickets for Marc Anthony for February 9, 2024, in Florida for my mothers 60th birthday. I purchased flights from Pennsylvania to Florida to see the last concert of the US tour. Saturday the date for the concert were still not in my account, on Saturday morning when I landed in Florida. My husband and I called StubHub. They said I should have my tickets by 3 PM on the date of the concert. 3 PM came no tickets we called multiple times, they said they’ll still be sending the tickets. One rep hung up on me another refused to get me on with a manager and promised me a resolution to speak with a manager and didnt. the concert was for 8 PM. At 7pm, we got an email saying they were unable to fulfill my tickets to look for other options and there was a link. I click on the link to hopefully get new tickets. No tickets available to replace only refund . Monday I called StubHub again after arguing with them on Saturday I spoke with the manager all he said was he can reimburse the tickets for the concert but not the flights or other expenses. I explained that I have lost not only concert tickets. I also lost flights for me and my mother, car rental fees, and stay fees, and he said there’s nothing he can do. I asked where on his website does it say they’re not responsible for my loss because of their failure as the seller of these tickets he was unable to provide me that answer. Terrible, Terrible App and Technical SupportI am done using StubHub. I listed a ticket that is second row from the stage. It should draw top dollar. But the StubHub app and website have a map of the venue which shows my ticket in the wrong section. As a result, people do not realize that it is an excellent ticket, very close to the stage. If they look at the erroneous Stubhub map, potential buyers will think the price is grossly inflated, as the ticket is far back in the venue. I have called and spoken with Stubhub three times. I can barely understand their representatives. And they clearly do not understand what I have explained to them repeatedly. They assure me the issue has been escalated, but nothing has changed over the course of two days. I asked if someone would call me back or send me an email. They said no. They said the onus is on me to continue to check the website to see if they have corrected the map. I am not the only one being adversely impacted by Stubhub's incompetence. I am going to delist my ticket and, going forward, use other ticket services to both sell and buy tickets. StubHub clearly does not care about its customers, and its customer service is as bad as it gets. Trying to deal with Stubhub is nothing but aggravating. Horrible company!I never leave reviews or comments on companies but this company is horrible! I tried on two different occasions to purchase tickets from this company and BOTH times I had issues. This last time was the worst. I bought tickets for a event on my birthday as a Xmas gift for my daughter and I. I couldn’t access the tickets and had to call customer service numerous times to figure out what the issue was. The first two people I spoke with clearly had no idea what they were doing and said they couldn’t give me any information on the tickets that I paid for and what happened to them and that I would receive a link to pick new tickets! I had to call back a third time to get them to actually send the link. Then they sent a link for tickets that were no where close to what I paid or similar to the section we were supposed to sit in. So I called back and they acted as is I was at fault when their company messed up my order! They said they would provide me with a voucher but the voucher was literally 20% of what I actually paid for the tickets. I eventually had to demand a refund and repurchase the tickets on another site. Horrible do not use this appRecently bought tickets to a melanie martinez concert as a little birthday treat for myself. purchased the tickets april 5, they were supposed to be delivered that exact date but then the seller changed it to june 14 ONE day before the concert, AND then changed it again to the day of! , i called multiple times about the concern i had about these tickets possible being false due to me finding out later those seat did not even exist, i was brushed off multiple times when i called they claimed they would email me with a replacement ticket and a month passed by with no contact back from them. i called multiple times leading up to THE DAY of the concert where i called and they said they couldn’t get a hold of the seller and they have to get me replacement tickets so i agreed, the lady ashley who i was speaking to kept reassuring me that she WOULD be able to get me replacement tickets, but when it came down to it she said they were completely out of replacement tickets and the only option was a full refund and a dumb “voucher” from them. this wouldn’t be the case if they had listen to me when i called them 10+ times about my concerns. never using this app again they allow people to input false information about the tickets and brush off your concerns until it’s too late!! beware of this app and don’t do any purchases!!!!!.ShhaiiVersion: 85.2.4
Terrible customer service and untrustworthy platform. Don’t waste your money.I never write reviews but any company with this level of ineptitude and poor customer service should be avoided at all costs. I purchased a large number of tickets to an F1 event in Austin for our group on the day we would attend. I was charged for the tickets and sent a link to download. This link was faulty and continued to give an Error message even when opened through different browsers. Customer service was largely useless advising me to “just keep trying, it should work.” Link never worked and tickets were never able to be accessed for use despite over an hour of trouble shooting. Had to hike my large group out of the race area to get a ride back to town and coordinate the rest of the night. Called the next day to report the issue and was told I should be receiving a refund in the next 2 weeks. After 3 weeks and no refund, I called to inquire and was told they would not be issuing a refund because the official complaint was not filed until the day after the event. Completely unacceptable and wildly poor customer service. Not only did they botch the service they “guarantee” but then to offer a refund for services not rendered only to rescind that refund weeks later with zero follow up communication is impressively bad. Total scam. Buyer bewareIf you get your ticket without issues then consider yourself lucky. The whole problem occurs when things go awry. Their whole mantra of protecting the buyer is totally false. I purchased an overseas ticket to a baseball game and was given an inferior product. Once I checked in and noticed that the tickets were wrong I called them immediately only to be told I called them after the game. Such lies. They said I should have checked the ticket even though it’s in another language and their confirmation email had NO seat info to comfrm against! All they had to do was listen to the call and they could tell I was in the stadium. It’s like dealing with an insurance company that doesn’t want to give you a refund because of some made up excuse. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!A few weeks ago I had a truly awful experience with this app, I’ve been too devastated to even talk about it but I don’t want this to happen to others!! In November my boyfriend used stubhub to buy us tickets to the Olivia Rodrigo concert in Philly in May. The day of the concert we never received the tickets and he spent a total of 5 hours either on the phone with them or on hold. We traveled to philly from nyc just to find out we where not getting the tickets. All day they said they would make sure we got “tickets of the same value.” My boyfriend got us pit tickets but since it was now like two hours before the concert was going to start they tried to put us all the way in the back for the same price as the pit tickets. We didn’t take it because that’s ridiculous to have to sit in the back for the price of pit tickets because stubhub did not deliver and give us the tickets he bought MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Everyone we spoke to on the phone was very nice, but it is entirely stubhub’s fault that something I looked forward to for months was ruined. I will never get that experience back of being in the pit for her first tour and I am truly heartbroken over it. Making it so the tickets are only available the day of is just asking for issue. Stubhub cannot make customers whole with their FanGuaranteeI was a victim of fake tickets sold on Stubhub’s platform. Thankfully I saw through these fakes and contacted support immediately. On two separate calls I was told that they were not fake. (After seeing my event using tickets I purchased directly from the venue I was proven correct because someone, that the ushers had to kick out, was in my seats with the same fake tickets that I’m talking about here! It’s rampant!!) On the third attempt to speak with support, I tried email. They offered me substitute tickets which I accepted, and guess what? The substitute tickets had the same characteristics that tipped me off that they were fake as the first tickets! I have zero faith that I will ever receive real tickets from Stubhub. I had to take disagreeable steps to ensure I got my money back. The problem with their guarantee and why I chose to purchase new tickets direct from the venue is this: Stubhub’s guarantee is guaranteed to be too late when you have to enact it while at the time of your event, the doors are closed at that point. Their 120% refund guarantee if they can’t find you alternative tickets will not make you whole because it does not cover the expense of travel and lodging to get to your venue when it’s far away. Process of selling is AWFULAlright. So I bought two tickets to a preseason game, cheap, 6 bucks a seat, makes sense because it’s preseason, and because I bought the tickets over a week in advance. There were plenty of tickets and at the same price, at the time. The process takes 7 days or so for the seller to transfer the tickets to me, so it would be September 30th by the time I’ll get the tickets. I call Stubhub October 1st saying I hadn’t received the tickets. They said that the app was wrong and that I was actually supposed to get the tickets that night by midnight. Now at that po int, when I called them, it took over 2 hours to get support for the tickets. After they told me it would be completed by midnight, they said not to worry because I will receive replacement tickets for no extra cost. Now, October second, the day of the event, still no tickets. I call as soon as they open (8AM EST) because the game is in 6 hours. I luckily got in fast because I called right as they opened. The woman told me that I will not be receiving the replacement tickets that I was promised the day before, but that I’ll receive a refund… A REFUND? I waited over a week and now it’s the DAY of the event, and the tickets are no cheaper than SIX TIMES the price I paid. Very disappointedI’m very disappointed in Stubhub and how insensitive they are being during this pandemic. They do not care at all about their customers, only their bottom line. I bought tickets for a concert on March 28th in Austin, TX for our wedding anniversary. The concert got rescheduled to May 29th because of the Coronavirus. They are now several reasons I am not able to go. The main reason being because in light of the uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus I am uncomfortable making the trip but also because originally the concert was on a Saturday and we had no problem going down for it but now it’s on a Friday night at 7:30 and we are not able to take off work to go down considering it will take us 6 hours to get there. Regardless of our reasons, Stubhub is not trying to help us at all because “they are not responsible for rescheduled events.” Their only suggestion is to sell our tickets. No one is going to buy tickets for anything right now in light of the circumstances and Stubhub is fully aware of that. They are just trying to take advantage of their customers. $1000 down the drainFlew in from Oregon to NYC and had plans to see the radio city show with the family. The day of the show we all took an uber into the city and waited in line for the show only to find out that they sent us the wrong ticket. We had to leave and spend time walking around the city instead to make up for the Ubers, with 2 elderly parents with disabilities. Well we called stub hub the day off and they told us they’ll handle the refund just to send the proof by email. 2 days after we called back since the refund hadn’t been processed, they told us since we did not send them back the tickets the best they’ll do is %25 store credit. Ridiculous, they never mentioned returning the tickets to us and never sent us an email saying to do so. The manager on the line said we had to do it asap but no concrete deadline which makes no sense at all. They were just talking in circles and got no where with them. Horrible customer service as well, gave us attitude and made us the villain for not following their imaginary rules that they never gave us. StubHub Failed BIG TIMEHorrible experience! We bought my daughter tickets for a concert 6 months prior to the concert. I got a reminder email a few days before the concert saying my event is coming up. This is my daughter’s favorite singer and she hasn’t stopped talking about the concert since we bought the tickets. So we drive two hours to the venue, pay for parking, buy food to sit on the sidewalk and eat so we can get in line 4 hours early because seating is first come first serve. I couldn’t find the tickets in the app but was assured by StubHub that my tickets would show up at least an hour before the event. No HelpI purchased tickets for the San Jose Sharks season opener. I then received an email saying that my tickets were no longer available but that they had even better seats awaiting and that they would be emailed to me. I was checking my email constantly to see if I could have the tickets because I am the type of person that likes to be prepared. The email stated that I should be checking my email and that they could even come the day of the event or “soon” I saw on their website that if the tickets had not arrived by 10 AM the day of the event to call the helpline. I did and was waiting on hold for over an hour. When I spoke to customer service they said that the tickets have been emailed to me. Stub Hub is a complete & absolute jokeBought tickets for a game that ended up being farther away then expected. That was on me, but when I tried to return them it wasn’t an option & I had to resell & eat up fees, which are also ridiculous by the way. Almost half the price of the tickets. ScamI had bought $300 worth of tickets to a comedy show for me and my friends a month ago and received a confirmation email stating I was good to go. Well the day of the event I went to my stub hub account and they had my row and seats and a confirmation number once again, but no tickets or a link in order to get my tickets. I got on the phone with customer service for 45 minutes until I finally got a real person to talk to! This was 10 minutes before the show so I thought I was going to be okay. Well, the rep dropped the call while he put me on hold for another 5 minutes and when I went to call back they told me the next available rep was a 35 minute wait. So I went up to the box office and had to spend $150 on the only available seats left at the venue and me and my friend did not get to sit by each other. So not only did I never receive the tickets I originally purchased, but I spent even more money for worse seats than I paid for. I will never buy or use stub hub again. Will never use StubHub in the futureI recently purchased tickets from StubHub for an Inter Milan soccer game (I travelled to Milan from US to see the game) but unfortunately, the tickets were never delivered. Despite reaching out to customer service multiple times, I was only notified of the issue an hour before the game, and when I was sent a link to replacement tickets, there were none available. As a result, I had to miss the game I had planned for and incurred significant expenses related to my travel and accommodation. I was extremely disappointed by the service I received from StubHub, and I urge the company to take steps to prevent similar situations from happening in the future. While the representatives I spoke with were polite, they failed to provide a solution to the problem, the only answer I was getting “nothing to worry about, you will get your tickets or better before the game”…. They had received nothing at the end. I believe that the company needs to do better in terms of delivering on its promises to customers. App full of ScammersPurchased Taylor Swift tickets for Tokyo. As soon as I placed my order I got a text from StubHub’s cancellation team explaining the seller cancelled to the order however they had similar tickets however these tickets were a ticket purchase from the buyer. Long story short, it turned out to be the seller trying to get me to wire them money. I spent an hour on the phone with StubHub getting the order voided. They offered me similar tickets (this time via StubHub). I woke up to texts from another selling saying the tickets were cancelled and trying to get me to wire them money. The second one was so clearly a scam. The first person was a very skillful scammer, but thankfully I did t send them any money. StubHub charges a shocking $500 processing fee per ticket for these tickets. I can tell from the tone of their customer service teams that they are dealing with these scams all day long and their just is just to remind you of their guarantee and try to get you to try a different set of tickets. Horrible customer serviceI purchased tickets for the Tigers home playoff game. I was assured that the tickets would arrive the day of the game. However, on the day of the game they had not come. On my way to Detroit (a 3 hour drive) my StubHub account showed that “oops!” There was a problem with the order (despite me already paying over $400 for my tickets). But not to worry, they were going to fix the issue. Well, I arrived in Detroit still with no tickets. My wife had spent over an hour on the phone with their customer “service” trying to figure oh the issue. Eventually, less than an hour before the game started, they told me that they couldn’t fill my order with the tickets I had paid for but they could give me standing room only. But they would give me a $6 voucher also. What a joke! Thankfully the Gametime app had some seats available and I was able to get them on short notice (though they were worse than what I had ordered and paid for on Stub Hub). I got scammedI flew to Tulsa, Oklahoma (I live near Denver, Colorado) to see Hozier and I purchased my ticket through Stubhub. The ticket was a GA floor seat, so I got to the venue several hours early to wait in line. When I finally got to the front to scan my ticket, it was INVALID. I was taken out of line and sent to a side area outside of the venue to figure it out. I called Stubhub customer service and I had indeed been sold a fake ticket. Stubhub said they could refund my money, but since they had no other available tickets, there was absolutely nothing else they could do. I was AT THE CONCERT IN A DIFFERENT STATE. I didn’t want a REFUND. Thank GOD I was able to purchase a new ticket (for not-great seats btw) so I could still go to the concert that night. Depending on the show, I could have been completely turned away instead. Staff at the venue do not care if you got scammed. Worthless GuaranteeStubHub claims to offer a guarantee for its tickets (I.e. if your ticket has problems, they’ll get you a comparable or better ticket), and I had relied on that promise in booking with them in the past. But today I learned my lesson - the guarantee appears to be a sham. After searching across multiple sites for several hours, I purchased front row seats behind the home team’s bench for an upcoming preseason football game from StubHub, to ensure my daughter could see during her first time at a game. But when I received my tickets, they were completely different from what we ordered - we were roughly 20 rows back. I called StubHub and informed them of the issue and was told they’d send over an offer of comparable or better seats to make up for the mistake. But when they sent over the options, all of the proposed options were nosebleed seats. App Super GlitchyI’ve used Stubhub for over a decade and the app and website have run smoothly. Now it’s super glitchy. It’s making it difficult for me to search for seats in a particular section and it thinks I selected seats that I don’t want and won’t let me use the back arrow to remove the selection and start over. I’ve shut the app down a few times, gone thru the website instead, and even deleted and reinstalled the app and am still having problems. Please fix these bugs. In addition, I know you’ve been having issues with MLB tickets. Given you’re an official partner of MLB and we’re in the thick of MLB season, you’d think fixing these glitches be of highest priority. Also, you used to list MLB tickets until right before game time. Now, 2 hours and 40 minutes before first pitch, the listings are gone. You used to be my go to app for buying MLB tickets. Bad Communication and Customer ServiceWhen I posted my tickets for sale, the ad was taken down without sending me any notification why. So I reposted the tickets, and it happened again. I reposted a third time, and then figured out they were actually being accepted by buyers. The app didn’t give me any notification by text, email, push notification, or even any kind of message within the app. It just moved into a different queue without telling me (and I double checked to be sure my notifications were turned on). Since the same tickets sold multiple times, I had to say I didn’t have the tickets, so my credit card was charged the full amount of each listing. I had no way to dispute this with customer service during the time because their phone lines were down and all I got was an automated voice message with no inbox. This seems borderline illegal and I’m very upset with the app. The primary function of the app is to connect buyer with seller, and it failed. This is the apps fault, not mine. Confusing, False, gave me a panic attackThis is the WORST ticket selling app EVER. I don’t know why it says it has 5 stars because I only saw 1 star reviews. I purchased tickets through the venue of the concert, not stub hub. I was not going to make it to the concert so I listed tickets on stubhub. It was confusing and not legit AT ALL. I’ve never used the app before and it somehow let me list my tickets, not only in the wrong section, but it also did. Or ask for verification. Terrible interface and supportFirst, let me say I’ve used stubhub multiple times to both buy and sell tickets, so it’s not a first time lack of familiarity issue. Their app glitches, and in my for sale page didn’t show any tickets (meaning my attempt to list them didn’t work) This continued to show this way so I simply sold the tickets another way. Day of event, stubhub is calling saying they sold the tickets that were never even showing up as listed. They charge me for non-delivery. I call three different times, get 3 reps that all tell me they will escalate, that someone will call back same day, no one calls back. Every time I call no notes have been taken so I start over. App update is buggy and awkward.Old version of app was fine outside of not being able to view a continuous list of concerts in my area — it would always start repeating shows after a few dates. The new app is very awkward. It’s as if I’m trying to use their desktop version of their website on a phone (which is never ideal). Buttons and options that should be bigger (like specific shows I’m looking for), are very small. Apps should be a quick, intuitive version of their website; this doesn’t feel like that. The feature to be able to see a list of all events in an area is completely gone. To be honest, I’m far less likely to discover shows and spend money with StubHub without this feature. The only way I’ll know if a concert is going on is if it’s a favorite act of mine where I’ll already know they’re coming to town. “Spur of the moment” concerts are dead with this change. CANCELED TICKET 20 MIN BEFORE AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICEToday I bought two tickets to a concert 5 hours before the concert started. I got my confirmation number and my tickets and was ready to go. I drove 1 1/2 hours to the concert and 20min before the event started I got an email saying a refund has been sent to me and the tickets were cancelled. MANY issues with the website/app.I bought a ticket to a football game that I later on realized I couldn’t go to, so I wanted to sell the ticket. No where on the website did it tell me I couldn’t use a prepaid card to list, so I made that mistake twice and got locked out of my account both times and had to sit on hold with customer service TWICE for an hour. Then, I was trying to put in my credit card info to list the ticket and got locked out AGAIN! So I called again and the lady said it was because I had put my info in wrong (which I didn’t). Now, it won’t even let me put in my credit card and just keeps saying error. I realized that the first time I called customer service they had deactivated my listing so now I have to reactivate it. Buyers bewareI purchased Blake Shelton tickets for tonight's concert and still haven't gotten my tickets. The sellers received my money and were suppose to download the tickets yesterday. Deceiving pricesThis app is pretty sad. I guess they fixed my previous concern but after not having used it in a long time it doesn’t even show what is being offered near by. I put in San Francisco and it shows me a couple sports events and shows then a list of things happening in aurora illenois and New York like who cares? Idk maybe they are saving a ton of money on programmers since it’s a monopoly the product doesn’t have to be any good TM/LiveNation/StubHub is the only game in town and will get your money like it or not. The worst part about this app is if you’re going to a concert they will sell you a Fast Pass to skip the line to get in and they make it look like that is all you need. But you need also to have another ticket to get in. The fast pass description even says section GA as if it is a general admission ticket. And they list it as the starting price of going to the show. DisappointingI am not inclined to write reviews but have been very disappointed with Stub Hub. The major issue is with updating prices in the app. When I type in an updated price it does not update my new price after I save it. It does work when I use the bar to adjust the price but when I want to go above their suggested range the bar selection is not useful. Use a Desktop to manage your prices. I’d also find it useful to have a countdown to event time- when i have unused tickets it would be helpful to get a notification so I can drop the price more dramatically to get a sale. It is also good to know that when an event’s official start time begins the listing is removed. Is this necessary? Sometimes people will pay to see part of an event. The final issue is that reposting the same tickets you need to be careful- they will not allow you to do this without a “review process” which takes an unspecified amount of time. This happened when I had 4 tickets listed and wished to give one away, reposted the remaining 3 tickets within 24 hours of game time. Don’t do it. Consider buying tickets elsewherePlease consider buying tickets elsewhere. The fees are insane. Not at bad as Ticket Master but they are still are high. I’ve purchased tickets from here twice, once to see Avril Lavigne, and the other was to see LeAnn Rimes. While I has no issues receiving my tickets, accessing them virtually was a runaround. You have no idea how you will receive them until the day of. You might have to create an account with Ticket Master and download to you Apple wallet to access them or you might be able to utilize the App itself. The fees don’t make sense. You tickets could be $95 and then your charged a $69 fee bring the total $164 before taxes. If you find better seats and want to upgrade them, you have to sell your tickets back, which you will be charged for. There is also no chance your tickets will sell. Most of the time you can find tickets through the Artist’s website for much cheaper with no fees or taxes. It learned I lost money because of this. Never buy tickets for music festivals from this appI bought my ticket for what was supposed to be EDC Las Vegas 2020. Fast forward to October of 2021 and according to the StubHub website, my EDC package was supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday just less than a day before I had to leave to go to Las Vegas. According to the StubHub website there was supposed to be a last minute service center in Las Vegas. One representative over the phone said there is while another said no. Worst Service EVERI had purchased tickets for a hockey game outside of the state we reside in( our state doesn’t have an NHL team) a month prior to the game. In between that time, I was put on a 5 week travel ban by my doctor due to being considered high risk for contracting COVID19, as well the area in which the area is at is now considered a hot bed of infection and are now starting the process of shelter in place lockdown. The NHL has currently suspended all games, and we can no longer travel at this point in time. Stubhub REFUSES to offer a refund, even with me offering to send them my doctors signed statement and statement from the arena that the game that we would have attended will not be happening, as it’s in two days. Not much helpThis is my first experience with using your app to try and resale tickets that I am stuck with. I am not happy with how your company is taxing me and the buyer for every purchase. Buying my Ticket ExperienceI was trying to buy concert tickets from stubhub. The first time for some reason under my own account my debit wasent able to go through when it has no problems or information wrong. The next day tryed to buy the tickets with my credit card, 4 times putting the cards information and personal information in (each separate time) they denied my credit card. Scammed, gaslit, and refused help.I purchased tickets for kaytranada at Forest Hills stadium in queens New York on 10/04, the entire checkout process was for this event, at this venue. We selected “GA bowl” tickets and paid $300 for after sale prices. When we showed up to the concert we realized that The ticket email link sent to us was for an after party at a roller skating rink in Brooklyn AFTER the concert (an after party) where tickets are $40 each. After trying to get help with the venue we had no luck getting in, and didn’t get to enjoy our first night out as parents in 10 months. I tried reaching stub hub from the moment we realized the issue at the door, until the following morning. After speaking to multiple agents, being hung up, gaslit, and denied a manager, I got one, all for them to send me an automated email saying “ we are unable to issue a refund. According to our Seller Policies outlined on our website, it is prohibited for sellers to list non-event tickets independently. LiarsMy wife and I went to a game at Fenway Park. I hadn’t been in over 25 years. We bought tickets advertised as being in the first row of the section. This was perfect as we wanted to see batting practice from the front row. When we got to our seats they were in the third row. I called immediately and spent 40 minutes on the phone. Therefore missing batting practice. I requested that they reseat as I would not have purchased these ticket if I had known they were in the third row. I offered to pay the difference. The customer service person told me they could not reseat me because we had already used the tickets to get in. How would know the tickets weren’t In the front row without going into the stadium? I decided to call the next morning again since I wanted to enjoy the game after missing batting practice. When I called the next morning they told me I should have requested that they reseat. Which I explained that I had requested. After another hour on the phone I finally gave up. They claim to have a guarantee about the seats you purchase but they do not honor it. Fraud-STAY AWAY from this companyI will never use Stub Hub again due to a misleading ticket sale. The supposed tickets I purchased turned out to not be tickets to the show, but instead an early access pass labeled as a ticket. When I realized that there may be an issue I immediately called their customer service team. (This was before the seller was aware of the sale.) Instead of making the situation right and acknowledging where the information was misleading, they provided only an option of selling. The early access passes have not sold even at a reduced price. Terrible SupportRecently purchased tickets to a football game , reached out to Stubhub on 3 occasions unable to view my tickets. Each time was directed to call back in a couple days and if it still wouldn’t work I was promised a refund so I could get myself new seats. This dragged on for 2 weeks. Delayed paymentI sold tickets through this platform over a month ago and still haven’t received my payment. I’ve been reaching out to customer service almost every week, and every time I get the same response: they say they will escalate my case, but nothing ever changes. Lack of response and accountabilityI had some issues with selling tickets. They successfully sold, however I received an email saying I need to email one ticket to a buyer, which was weird because my tickets were uploaded at the time of listing. So I ended up reversing the transfer and sending to the buyer. However, stubhub sent a ticket to that buyer themselves. So one buyer ended up with 2 tickets for the price of 1, well below face value for a sold out event. I spent hours now on calls with stubhub, documenting the process and issue, I keep receiving the same response, which isn’t even addressing the issue. Terrible customer serviceI purchased a duplicate set of General Admission tickets after I panicked and couldn’t locate my original ones. Naturally found my originals within 1/2 hour of purchasing new ones. Called to see if a refund or credit was possible. It wasn’t, which I understand, so I decided to list my duplicate tickets $25 each.( Received e-tickets 4 days before concert date). Completed the listing process including uploading ticket, payment information etc. Upon checking StubHub I could not find my listing. There were some tickets listed for $35 but none for $25. And on my StubHub account under listings nothing was showing up. Cannot speak to a live person on weekend( concert was on a Tuesday) so I had to go the chat route. You get all the standard advice like double check your listing, settings , payment information etc., which was all fine. So finally spoke to a live representative on Monday, which was one day before concert). Assured me my listing was active and there had been a lot of interest. Also informed that StubHub uses an algorithm to adjust ticket price based on demand, so that was why they had inflated my asking price to $35, but not to worry I’d still get the $25 I was asking!!!… So I said well I would hope so, but the fact you have increased the asking price without my consent could very likely impact whether they sell or not at this late date, and if they do sell who gets the extra cash, Stubhub or me?. I was not terribly confident in the attendant’s knowledge although she assured me all was fine. She said she would refresh the listing.I checked again later that afternoon and still nothing showing up on my profile. But I could see the tickets on their site for $35 each. I called customer service again and spoke to another person who once again assured me that the listing was active. I asked why couldn't see them on my account and he couldn’t really give me a satisfactory answer. He said he could see it”on his end” and everything was fine. Told me the reason I couldn’t see the listing was because I was the seller, not the buyer….. That’s when I was convinced this guy had no idea what he was talking about. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he put me on hold for several minutes. When he came back( same guy) he said he had checked further into it and that he could not find any active listing for my account. So o er the course of 4 hours or so I was told by 2 separate representatives that my listing was active, and only when I pushed for a manager I was told actually there was no active listing. I was advised to repost the listing. ( approx 26 hours before concert). So I expressed my dissatisfaction and said I will repost but that’s terrible customer service, and I want them listed at $25 like I asked. He apologized and said the confusion was due to a “technical glitch”. I reposted the tickets. This time they showed up in my account and on the site but on the site , once again listed for $35… At that point I was so mad I never even bothered calling again. I mean the tickets only cost me USD$65, but still. I vowed I would never buy or list another thing EVER from StubHub. Almost missed our show, sneaky US currency to rip off CDN!First of all, our tickets never stated they were in a US currency, and I was looking out for this as it happened to my mom. I go to buy the tickets and my credit card is charged way more than what it stated because it was in US currency on the website.
