NEVER AGAIN!!!StubHub is running a major scam and I hope they are being investigated. They “guarantee” your ticket purchase to get you to buy, but then do NOT fulfill their agreement. They lied to me multiple times to try to get out of their “guarantee.”
I bought Taylor Swift tickets and they were not delivered. When I called customer service multiple times, they put me off until the date of the concert saying they were finding replacement tickets. The tickets they offered me were all significantly worse than the ones I purchased and they claimed they couldn’t offer me similar or better tickets because they wouldn’t be available right away. They talked me into accepting worse tickets with a tiny StubHub voucher as a last resort (because I already traveled to another city for the concert) and said the tickets would arrive immediately. They said I should accept the tickets and then contest the transaction on the back end. They claimed they put in a claim for a partial refund based on my terrible experience. When I called back for a status the next week, they told me my refund was being processed and asked me to provide a debit card for the money to go to. I called back a few days later (because I had received nothing) and was told they would not provide a partial refund and would not allow me to speak with anyone who could consider my request. Double ticket scamI have only purchased from here 2 times and both times they completely failed me miserably! I bought an over priced parking ticket that was completely useless with terrible instructions that did not work that was $50 and when looking around the empty parking lot it was only $6. I called for a refund and the lady hung up on me. So, I let it go since I was at the kings game and wasn’t gonna let that ruin my day. Now, for the second time.. I just bought my fiancé and her family tickets to the NFL Munich game since they live near and when they arrived they were told it was a double ticket and they have been used already.. that they won’t be able to get in since the tickets are completely sold out. After calling stubhub they stated sometimes you just need to show the ticket box and they should give you tickets after completely explaining to them that it’s sold out and they tried to enter and buying other tickets. After literally mentioning this they apologized that they do not have alternate seats. Like bro did I not just mention to you that the game is sold out? Stubhub How do you guys mess up that bad? But don’t worry I’ll be expecting my full refund in 5-6 business days. Got my eyes on my account everyday until then! You guys made me look terrible to my fiancé and her family by giving them scam tickets that they were so excited for! I will NEVER be using your services again. Worst Experience Ever!!!!!I had the worst experience ever! I bought my ticket 3 months before the concert to be ready and have my ticket. After I bought the ticket it said it was going to be ready the day of the event and got my anxious all the 3 months because I didn’t had the ticket on my hand. The day of the concert came and it was already 10 am and didn’t had my ticket. I chatted with the customer service several times to get my ticket but at the end I couldn’t get the original ticket I paid for. Customer service was available thank God and they responded fast. I was already in the theater when they gave me the option to replace my original ticket with a new one. The new ticket was cheaper (when I was looking for the best ticket, I saw the price) than the one I bought since it was more far away :c but at the end I had the option that replace it or get my money back. I felt really sad at the beginning looking all the people laughing and enjoying while they were in line and I couldn’t do the same because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to enter to the concert. I do not recommend to buy your tickets here people! Customer service was great but if you are buying your ticket for an event you always dreamed to attend don’t risk it! I had physical effects (I suffer of anxiety) too, due to the lack of responsibility. I still think if I had had my original ticket I could of see the singers really close like I wanted my whole life. Frustrated purchaser, who didn’t receive my tickets in time to make the game on timeI spent over $400 on two tickets to an international soccer game. As of the morning of the game, I still have not received my tickets. I spent hours on the chat feature with StubHub trying to secure my tickets, only to continue to be told that I should check my email. I was able to finally convince them/ proved to them. I had never received my tickets and was told my situation would be escalated and then I would receive my tickets prior to the game. 30 minutes prior to the game i still had nothing, and I had to initiate the exact same process with their chat feature and proved to them I still have not received my tickets. I finally received alternative tickets less than 10 minutes before the game started with no other option as I was sitting outside the stadium with my child and the game was starting. Feeling I had no choice, but to accept ( or miss the game which we had traveled to), we immediately went into the stadium only to miss the anthem and part of the first half by the time we were able to get to our seats as we were left only nine minutes from the time we received the tickets. I contacted StubHub afterward to be told that since I accepted the tickets, it was on me. I will never use this venue again and I’m frustrated that they did not make this right. Ticket statuses make no sense, and the most dishonest company I’ve ever dealt with.First, search through reddit and see the number of people complaining about StubHub not delivering and keeping their money - I wish I had done my homework before using this. I bought tickets via the app. The app told me tickets were ready to download. They weren’t. In fact, it was never possible to receive tickets, because I signed up with an Apple ID. Anyone who uses this knows that that they generate an email that only the company (StubHub) can send messages to. They claimed the tickets were downloadable, but in reality the seller had to send them directly to my email, something I finally heard after multiple conversations with support. But that meant getting the tickets I purchased would never happen because I had an apple ID. This is a flaw that they never told me about or acknowledged. Between the app, their emails and the support people, it’s like this company has multiple personalities and no one is in sync or they are simply corrupt. Depending on what support person I talked to, the tickets were either on the way, or I already had them and just needed to check my inbox one more time. These clowns charge a 30% markup and will do anything, anything to keep it no matter how bad they screw up. TerribleI purchased tickets to a concert and they had me until the very last minute begging them to send me my tickets (to an event abroad, that I had to travel and get vacation time for.) Customer service through chat was very poor and I was being told to wait…
Eventually two of my tickets didn’t come, so they offered to issue a refund, which I have not received two months after the event took place. My case had to be escalated to a “special team”, and they “added some notes so that they would take it as priority,” but two weeks went by without hearing from them, so I had to call, again, just to be told they need to re escalate it and add more notes, and that I needed to wait another two weeks. They do not follow up with you, so you’re the one having to contact them every time, just so they give you apologies and tell you to wait 14 BUSINESS DAYS at a time.
Also, when I complained about the poor customer service, they sent me a prompt for feedback to the very same chat that won’t give me an answer, and the agent’s response was “our agents get tired from dealing with multiple customers a day”… As a former customer service myself, I speak to them with respect and empathy, but I cannot simply spare them from doing their job. Unfortunately it’s a faulty system and these guys are thrown under the bus to deal with the customers.

Worst customer service and experience everTickets said they would be “released” the day of the concert. When they weren’t I messaged customer service who said they would work on getting this issue expedited to their “internal team” and “not to worry” because if they weren’t able to get my tickets released to me 2 hours before that they were protected and guaranteed(The concert was 2 hours away from where I live). I still had not heard anything from StubHub and the concert was now less than two hours away so I messaged customer service. I spent the next 1.5 hrs trying to figure out what was going on with my tickets after multiple disconnects from their customer service reps continuously promising that I would be receiving an email with my “options” soon. My options, 30 minutes before the start of the concert, would be to take “comparable” seats that were no where close to the same seats that I paid for or a refund….
If I never reached out to them multiple times the day of the concert I would never have known I didn’t have tickets for the concert that I purchased over a month ago. I will tell everyone I ever meet to never use stub hub. StubHub is a scam where they make money reselling tickets with their crazy fees and if there aren’t any tickets to sell then no harm to them they will give you your money back without any concern for your time or travel plans. Absolutely insane. I implore you, do not use stubhub as a service.Stubhub is quite literally the definition of a scam. I purchased tickets to a Gareth Emery show that started at 9pm. I decided late to attend the show, so I bought my tickets shortly after 10pm. I received a confirmation email for my order, than another email 13 minutes later stating my tickets have been transferred and I should be receiving them soon. I never received my tickets. Stubhubs chat and customer service also closed at 10pm. I tried to use their live chat but received a response that they were closed, and tried to call and was told they were closed. I called the next day to get a refund. After providing proof that my tickets weren’t delivered, I received the decision that I would not get my refund because I did not contact stubhub before/during the event. I had to call back to remind them that when I purchased my tickets, they were closed. The last person I spoke to was a supervisor who was so adamant about me not getting a refund whatsoever, I am convinced this is just apart of their practice as a business. He even proceeded to say that stubhub is open 24/7 and that I could have called or tried live chat. It clearly says on their website that they are open from 5-9 Pacific time (i’m looking at it right now) yet he insisted it says they’re open 24/7, which is a blatant lie.

I’m saddened to say, Stubhub has hit rock bottomI’ve used Stubhub for almost a decade. Most of the way, I had a good relationship with them. They were trustworthy, and if there were problems with my tickets, they’d resolve on a call. No waiting for a resolution when a seller didn’t come through —they’d give you a list of alternatives and a $20 voucher. I was disappointed when the Giants left Stubhub for SeatGeek (I don’t like their deceptive ranking of seats, where 2 seats sit next to each other with widely different scores-total garbage.) Not so now for Stubhub. I had a ticket to a baseball game yesterday, and MLB removed it from ticket list. On the Stubhub site, my ticket showed “returned” with no barcode. I chatted with several agents during the day. All said it will be resolved at most 1 hour before game time which I don’t like, since gates open earlier, and you’re waiting for the ticket you bought, meanwhile other alternatives run the risk of having an extra seat if you buy from another place but Stubhub finally gives you a ticket. None of the people I talked to resolved it. None of them followed up. Halfway through the game, I got a follow up saying we can get you a ticket or a refund. Haha, in the middle of the game. They just blab about escalating the priority, but absolutely nothing was done. Thankfully there’s such a thing as a chargeback. I’m absolutely disgusted with them. Horrible customer serviceI bought watsky/hobo Johnson tickets in 2019 (way before the pandemic) and the date got moved as usual and eventually watsky decided to cancel his concert because he didn’t see a point in the concert if it had to keep getting moved and postponed even longer and he felt bad. So stubhub sent out an email saying “you could click on this link to get 120% credit sent to your account or you can do nothing for this email and don’t click the link to get your money refunded” naturally I wanted the money back, I have a 4 month old who requires a lot so that would’ve been very helpful. I NEVER got it. I went to the websites help center and it said oh well just click on “request refund” if you didn’t want your credit, on the appropriate credit you have, well that wasn’t an option. I tried multiple times, and I wasn’t going to sit on the phone for 4 hours to wait to be told the same thing over and over. So I @ them on Twitter and FINALLY I got help. Or so I thought. They made me jump through so many hoops, only for them to say “this is stressing us out and we have other people to help” BUT I WASNT HELPED?? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP OTHERS IF YOU CANT HELP ME?? So I kept talking to them, and we ALMOST got somewhere to fix the problem. Then they just stopped talking to me all together.

Stub Hub is a complete joke and so is it’s fan protection policyBought tickets for an Eagle’s 10/30 game back in June! Suspicious of my tickets right away but waited patiently for them to be delivered. The day came and went of when my tickets were to be delivered so I called to inquire. I was told that there was a minor issue with the barcode but I would have them in the next 24 hours. 24 hours came and went and nothing. So I proceeded to call again, with 3 days until my event I was getting more and more concerned. The next lady told me that yes they were still working on fixing the problem and I would have them within 24 hours of the event. The day before came and still NO TICKETS! So I proceed to call for a 3rd time, got hung up on because I wanted to talk to a manager because she told me to give it until 3 hours before my event when we had travel plans in place for this game!!!! Obviously no trust in them at this point! I call for the 4th time, with no resolution I was told I could either pick different tickets or refund, however the tickets presented to me under the bogus “fan protection” were nose bleeds when I had paid for club level seats! Horrible. All a scam.I used stubhub to purchase Ari Lennox tickets and bought the tickets a few hours before the show. It had me pay with Apple Pay and it seemed legit and the app seemed high quality. Shortly after buying it said my tickets were “delivered” and to check my email because they would be coming from a third party sender and not from stubhub. Told me to find their email and “accept” the transfer. Well there were never any tickets sent. I checked my junk Mail, my inbox, and my Ticketmaster account which uses the same email as my stubhub account and nothing ever came. I realized this all when I was in the Uber on the way to the concert. I ended up contacting them after because I had gotten to the concert and ended up just buying tickets straight from Ticketmaster, and they told me since I didn’t contact them the day of the event they couldn’t issue me a refund or do anything. It seems wild that you can just “buy a ticket” and stubhub will let you do that without even verifying first that it actually exists and will be transferred to you. Why are they trusting third parties to do this versus stub hub just getting it from the third party first and THEN transferring it to the buyers so they can verify and know that the transaction will be complete without issue. Do not purchase hereWe purchased concert tickets for Marc Anthony for February 9, 2024, in Florida for my mothers 60th birthday. I purchased flights from Pennsylvania to Florida to see the last concert of the US tour. Saturday the date for the concert were still not in my account, on Saturday morning when I landed in Florida. My husband and I called StubHub. They said I should have my tickets by 3 PM on the date of the concert. 3 PM came no tickets we called multiple times, they said they’ll still be sending the tickets. One rep hung up on me another refused to get me on with a manager and promised me a resolution to speak with a manager and didnt. the concert was for 8 PM. At 7pm, we got an email saying they were unable to fulfill my tickets to look for other options and there was a link. I click on the link to hopefully get new tickets. No tickets available to replace only refund . Monday I called StubHub again after arguing with them on Saturday I spoke with the manager all he said was he can reimburse the tickets for the concert but not the flights or other expenses. I explained that I have lost not only concert tickets. I also lost flights for me and my mother, car rental fees, and stay fees, and he said there’s nothing he can do. I asked where on his website does it say they’re not responsible for my loss because of their failure as the seller of these tickets he was unable to provide me that answer. Terrible, Terrible App and Technical SupportI am done using StubHub. I listed a ticket that is second row from the stage. It should draw top dollar. But the StubHub app and website have a map of the venue which shows my ticket in the wrong section. As a result, people do not realize that it is an excellent ticket, very close to the stage. If they look at the erroneous Stubhub map, potential buyers will think the price is grossly inflated, as the ticket is far back in the venue. I have called and spoken with Stubhub three times. I can barely understand their representatives. And they clearly do not understand what I have explained to them repeatedly. They assure me the issue has been escalated, but nothing has changed over the course of two days. I asked if someone would call me back or send me an email. They said no. They said the onus is on me to continue to check the website to see if they have corrected the map. I am not the only one being adversely impacted by Stubhub's incompetence. I am going to delist my ticket and, going forward, use other ticket services to both sell and buy tickets. STUBHUB IS A SCAMStubHub is a total scam. I never received my tickets from my seller. I called multiple times to customer service first they told me to wait until 5 PM to get my tickets. I waited until 5 PM then they told me to wait till 6 PM to receive my tickets. I waited till 6 PM then they told me to wait till 7 PM and keep in mind. My concert was at 8 PM. I waited until 7 PM. I called back told him I still did not have my tickets and they gave me the excuse that they did not have the link and that they called the seller and that they emailed the seller to send the tickets to me so I realize that this was a total scam and please folks do yourself a favor do not ever ever ever use this platform ever in your life the customer service is is working together to scam you. Never use StubHubI will never use StubHub again. Paid 2000 for Coldplay tickets in Miami. Tickets were never delivered. Called everyday twice a day. Never got any help or cooperation from any StubHub rep I spoke with. My wife and I flew to Miami for the weekend, paid for flights, hotels, etc.. called StubHub several times the day of concert. Kept getting the same story, same run around from StubHub reps. Had to repeat myself every time I called. Got the same story, “we are working on it, we escalated it, don’t worry you will have your tickets or comparable replacement tickets before the show, someone will call you back”… blah, blah, blah… heard this same thing over and over by at least 10-15 StubHub reps. No one ever got back to me. Never got a resolution or answer. I called again an hour before the show and still no tickets. So they offered me “comparable” tickets.. ya, right! I bought very good tickets. Lower level club seats right in front of the stage. The “comparable” tickets they offered me were at the very back of the stadium up peanut heaven. Needless to say I didn’t accept them. Yes, StubHub will refund me my 2000 but they ruined our weekend to Miami and StubHub wouldn’t refund me the money I paid for the parking pass and,of course, they wouldn’t reimburse me for all my travel expenses to Miami… but the saga continues because I’m going to sue StubHub for all my expenses…but I will never use StubHub again..TB6260Version: 101.50.3
Horrible company!I never leave reviews or comments on companies but this company is horrible! I tried on two different occasions to purchase tickets from this company and BOTH times I had issues. This last time was the worst. I bought tickets for a event on my birthday as a Xmas gift for my daughter and I. I couldn’t access the tickets and had to call customer service numerous times to figure out what the issue was. The first two people I spoke with clearly had no idea what they were doing and said they couldn’t give me any information on the tickets that I paid for and what happened to them and that I would receive a link to pick new tickets! I had to call back a third time to get them to actually send the link. Then they sent a link for tickets that were no where close to what I paid or similar to the section we were supposed to sit in. So I called back and they acted as is I was at fault when their company messed up my order! They said they would provide me with a voucher but the voucher was literally 20% of what I actually paid for the tickets. I eventually had to demand a refund and repurchase the tickets on another site. Horrible do not use this appRecently bought tickets to a melanie martinez concert as a little birthday treat for myself. purchased the tickets april 5, they were supposed to be delivered that exact date but then the seller changed it to june 14 ONE day before the concert, AND then changed it again to the day of! , i called multiple times about the concern i had about these tickets possible being false due to me finding out later those seat did not even exist, i was brushed off multiple times when i called they claimed they would email me with a replacement ticket and a month passed by with no contact back from them. i called multiple times leading up to THE DAY of the concert where i called and they said they couldn’t get a hold of the seller and they have to get me replacement tickets so i agreed, the lady ashley who i was speaking to kept reassuring me that she WOULD be able to get me replacement tickets, but when it came down to it she said they were completely out of replacement tickets and the only option was a full refund and a dumb “voucher” from them. this wouldn’t be the case if they had listen to me when i called them 10+ times about my concerns. never using this app again they allow people to input false information about the tickets and brush off your concerns until it’s too late!! beware of this app and don’t do any purchases!!!!!.ShhaiiVersion: 85.2.4
Terrible ExperienceI have used Stub Hub for more than 15 years, and have never encountered this kind of situation. 1) I purchased a ticket for No Doubt at the Sphere around January(show is in May). I get a confirmation saying that they have my tickets but they will be released by Saturday, May 16… which is the day of the concert. They call me on Friday, May 15, as I am on my way to the airport and tell me that they have a problem providing the exact tickets I ordered, and that they could either refund me or give me an alternative ticket…
1, this is not what I ordered and 2, I am already on my way to the airport with my wife, flight booked and hotel booked, so I have no choice but to choose an alternative ticket. They confirm it & send me an email. When I try to accept the tickets however, the website has an issue with the transfer. It is now 15 minutes before the concert and I am talking to a guy on the phone who is all apologies and there’s no tickets he can get me, but he will give me a full refund and $19 of credit! I just flew my wife to Vegas, walked through a super long line, and now I am hearing this… so needless to say I am disappointed in the service. I have not experienced this before with Stubhub. I purchased a large number of tickets to an F1 event in Austin for our group on the day we would attend. I was charged for the tickets and sent a link to download. This link was faulty and continued to give an Error message even when opened through different browsers. Customer service was largely useless advising me to “just keep trying, it should work.” Link never worked and tickets were never able to be accessed for use despite over an hour of trouble shooting. Had to hike my large group out of the race area to get a ride back to town and coordinate the rest of the night. Called the next day to report the issue and was told I should be receiving a refund in the next 2 weeks. After 3 weeks and no refund, I called to inquire and was told they would not be issuing a refund because the official complaint was not filed until the day after the event. Completely unacceptable and wildly poor customer service. Not only did they botch the service they “guarantee” but then to offer a refund for services not rendered only to rescind that refund weeks later with zero follow up communication is impressively bad. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM STUBHUBWe bought tickets for an NFL game and it was a huge mistake. Stubhub never gave us the tickets, and their “insurance” to give us new seats failed to provide comparable seats. If you pay over $800 for clear view tickets, you shouldn’t be offered tickets from the corner of the stadium with an obstructed view. I asked them if there were any other tickets available, they’re so stingy they wouldn’t offer any others. Since I was selling some of the tickets, if I had offered the new tickets to the buyer they had the chance to reject them. If they had I would be stuck paying for the ticket AND their replacement! Luckily I was on the phone with stubhub so I was able to let them know not to charge me, she said it could still happen on accident unfortunately. Overall, we missed our event since the stubhub employees kept telling us to wait for the tickets until the last minute. I will never do business with such a terrible rip off site again. The fact that their guarantee to give you new tickets doesn’t mean they have to be equivalent to what you purchased is such a red flag, and making us wait until an hour before the event and stressing me out the night bwfore and morning of. Total scam. Buyer bewareIf you get your ticket without issues then consider yourself lucky. The whole problem occurs when things go awry. Their whole mantra of protecting the buyer is totally false. I purchased an overseas ticket to a baseball game and was given an inferior product. Once I checked in and noticed that the tickets were wrong I called them immediately only to be told I called them after the game. Such lies. They said I should have checked the ticket even though it’s in another language and their confirmation email had NO seat info to comfrm against! All they had to do was listen to the call and they could tell I was in the stadium. It’s like dealing with an insurance company that doesn’t want to give you a refund because of some made up excuse. In November my boyfriend used stubhub to buy us tickets to the Olivia Rodrigo concert in Philly in May. The day of the concert we never received the tickets and he spent a total of 5 hours either on the phone with them or on hold. We traveled to philly from nyc just to find out we where not getting the tickets. All day they said they would make sure we got “tickets of the same value.” My boyfriend got us pit tickets but since it was now like two hours before the concert was going to start they tried to put us all the way in the back for the same price as the pit tickets. We didn’t take it because that’s ridiculous to have to sit in the back for the price of pit tickets because stubhub did not deliver and give us the tickets he bought MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Everyone we spoke to on the phone was very nice, but it is entirely stubhub’s fault that something I looked forward to for months was ruined. I will never get that experience back of being in the pit for her first tour and I am truly heartbroken over it. Making it so the tickets are only available the day of is just asking for issue. DisappointedI do not recommend using this app and I will never use it again. StubHub miss listed my two tickets as three and when I tried to correct it it disappeared, so I assume the listing had been deleted. Several weeks later, I get notified that I had only delivered to tickets of the three I sold and that if I did not produce the third ticket, I would be fined. In the meantime because my listing was no longer on my account, I had relisted my two tickets for sale and on the same day was notified that those two tickets sold.. I immediately contacted StubHub to try to sort out the mess and fix the mistake that had been made. They were unable to undo any of it and told me that I would need to wait till after the event when I get fine/charged for the extra tickets and dispute it. Meanwhile, I would assume the people on the other end were out the tickets that they thought they had. But I had no way of contacting them or notifying them of the problem that existed and StubHub did nothing to make it right ahead of time, even though I had contacted them and requested that we fix it. Now I am out an additional $450+ for two tickets. I had already bought in a show. I never got to see. Sold Invalid TicketsRecently ran into issue with tickets to a major league baseball game. Bought tickets 5 days before game. All was fine: tickets arrived in Apple wallet; email an hour before game, “Enjoy the Game!”. At the gate, the tickets were invalid. Customer Service is a joke, “we’ll review and get back to you in 72 hours.” Am sure many can relate to the cost of actually getting to the gate of a major event (travel, parking cost, etc.). Understand that the App Store is a place to review apps, not the actual service itself. But since the entire service is delivered via the app, there’s really no other place to leave feedback. Buyer beware.
Post Developer Response: I did contact your AI driven Customer Service while standing at the gate with my son wondering “what now?” It turned me over to an equally useless human who provided, after about 25 minutes, the “we’ll get back to you in 72 hours” (as the ballgame was starting). The emailed response was a refund, which I had already taken care of with the credit card company (their helpful human customer service wasn’t surprised by my request - which told me this is a frequent issue). I also contacted the Consumer Complaint Division with our Attorney General. I expected more from an app claiming “100% Guaranteed” and “Customer Support all the way to your seat”. Stubhub cannot make customers whole with their FanGuaranteeI was a victim of fake tickets sold on Stubhub’s platform. Thankfully I saw through these fakes and contacted support immediately. On two separate calls I was told that they were not fake. (After seeing my event using tickets I purchased directly from the venue I was proven correct because someone, that the ushers had to kick out, was in my seats with the same fake tickets that I’m talking about here! It’s rampant!!)
On the third attempt to speak with support, I tried email. They offered me substitute tickets which I accepted, and guess what? The substitute tickets had the same characteristics that tipped me off that they were fake as the first tickets!
I have zero faith that I will ever receive real tickets from Stubhub. I had to take disagreeable steps to ensure I got my money back.
The problem with their guarantee and why I chose to purchase new tickets direct from the venue is this: Stubhub’s guarantee is guaranteed to be too late when you have to enact it while at the time of your event, the doors are closed at that point. Their 120% refund guarantee if they can’t find you alternative tickets will not make you whole because it does not cover the expense of travel and lodging to get to your venue when it’s far away. Process of selling is AWFULAlright. So I bought two tickets to a preseason game, cheap, 6 bucks a seat, makes sense because it’s preseason, and because I bought the tickets over a week in advance. There were plenty of tickets and at the same price, at the time. The process takes 7 days or so for the seller to transfer the tickets to me, so it would be September 30th by the time I’ll get the tickets. I call Stubhub October 1st saying I hadn’t received the tickets. They said that the app was wrong and that I was actually supposed to get the tickets that night by midnight. Now at that po int, when I called them, it took over 2 hours to get support for the tickets. After they told me it would be completed by midnight, they said not to worry because I will receive replacement tickets for no extra cost. Now, October second, the day of the event, still no tickets. I call as soon as they open (8AM EST) because the game is in 6 hours. I luckily got in fast because I called right as they opened. The woman told me that I will not be receiving the replacement tickets that I was promised the day before, but that I’ll receive a refund… A REFUND? I waited over a week and now it’s the DAY of the event, and the tickets are no cheaper than SIX TIMES the price I paid. Either incompetent or diabolicalIf you have tickets and you want to resell them on StubHub, you should be really careful. I think people run a scam where they buy multiple tickets at the last second, and then tell StubHub that they can’t get the tickets electronically transferred. So in other words, they only need one or two tickets to get in, but a lot of times you need to buy them in groups of three or four. So they tell StubHub they didn’t get all the tickets, and then Sub doesn’t pay you as a seller. The last and final time I sold on StubHub, they called me and asked me to transfer the tickets directly to a buyer, which I did, and then they asked me to send them proof that they were transferred properly, which I did. Later on, when I asked why I hadn’t been paid, they said they had no proof that the tickets had been transferred properly. Even though the Stubhub person had asked me to send proof from Ticketmaster that they were transferred, which I did. So when you complain, then they tell you, “Well, it’ll take 30 to 45 days to figure out.” So I did actually get paid about a two weeks later, but then I got a notice from StubHub saying that they weren’t going to pay me because there wasn’t proof that the tickets were transferred. Crooked CompanyI purchased tickets from StubHub for my sons to attend an event, but their schedule changed. I resold the same tickets purchased from StubHub within the same week and they have not sent me my money. I’ve now spent 2 hours chatting and talking to them and although they said their ticket sales are guaranteed and agreed I should have received my money within the normal timeframe, they did not pay me. Stubhub STEALS!!I purchased a parking pass separately from my concert tickets. The day before the event I was unable to transfer the ticket and they had a different email for the pass than what my email is. I have never had the email they sent it to, never had access to the email it was sent to, never created the email it was sent to… I called to inform stubhub I could not access the parking pass and they said it would be escalated. Now it’s the day of the event and I still have no parking pass, called again explain again the situation and they said well it was already sent to the escalation department. Very disappointedI’m very disappointed in Stubhub and how insensitive they are being during this pandemic. They do not care at all about their customers, only their bottom line. I bought tickets for a concert on March 28th in Austin, TX for our wedding anniversary. The concert got rescheduled to May 29th because of the Coronavirus. They are now several reasons I am not able to go. The main reason being because in light of the uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus I am uncomfortable making the trip but also because originally the concert was on a Saturday and we had no problem going down for it but now it’s on a Friday night at 7:30 and we are not able to take off work to go down considering it will take us 6 hours to get there. Regardless of our reasons, Stubhub is not trying to help us at all because “they are not responsible for rescheduled events.” Their only suggestion is to sell our tickets. No one is going to buy tickets for anything right now in light of the circumstances and Stubhub is fully aware of that. They are just trying to take advantage of their customers.
I will never buy from Stubhub again and I highly discourage others from doing so. I don’t suggest supporting corporations that do not care about their clientele. Find somewhere else to buy your tickets that won’t take advantage of you.

Verbally admitted they messed up and still couldn’t give me a measly $60 refund!So we bought parking tickets to an event from StubHub (as one would normally do). Except when we bought them, the seller of course waited until the extreme last minute to send them. Worst experience ever with StubHubNot sure how StubHub gets 4.8 rating, I had the worst experience with them. I bought two concert tickets for my daughter’s favorite k-pop group two months in advance. We flew from Oakland to Tokyo for the concert. StubHub said the tickets would be delivered on the concert day by mail, which is odd considering it’s 2024. It turned out the the tickets were never delivered to us due to incomplete address (air b&b didn’t list apt no., only the address of the building). In all fairness, this is no fault of StubHub, but what happened after is not acceptable. I called customer service three times and was give different response each time. I was first told to chase the tickets from Japan post office. JP post office would not release it and asked the sender to contact them. StubHub refused to contact sender (due to privacy issue!). I tried to update the address from StubHub account, but failed multiple attempts. I was then told by StubHub two days before concert that they would send me an email 2 hours within the concert starting time with instruction on how to receive alternative tickets from the concert venue. Two hours before the concert, I didn’t receive any email. When I called customer service again, I was told there were no alternative tickets and it was too late to do anything different. All they can do is to refund me. $1000 down the drainFlew in from Oregon to NYC and had plans to see the radio city show with the family. The day of the show we all took an uber into the city and waited in line for the show only to find out that they sent us the wrong ticket. We had to leave and spend time walking around the city instead to make up for the Ubers, with 2 elderly parents with disabilities. StubHub Failed BIG TIMEHorrible experience! We bought my daughter tickets for a concert 6 months prior to the concert. Borderline ScamI’ve been failed by StubHub 3 times. I understand it’s a resale app and you need to wait for the person to release their tickets, but there must be something wrong with StubHub specifically. I’ve purchased resale tickets on SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster, and Gametime and have never had one problem. I’ve had to wait for maybe a few hours for a ticket, but I always got them well in advance before my events. Although I find StubHub generally has fairer fees, I’ve been screwed over multiple times by their reselling. I purchased tickets to a UFC fight- which ended up being fake tickets. It took months to get my money back. I then purchased tickets a few months later for a hockey game, I never received the tickets and had to pester support 5 times before an agent finally refunded the purchase. My final straw was a concert ticket I purchased more than a week in advance. The night of the concert I went to see if my ticket had come through and it hadn’t. I ended up purchasing a ticket through SeatGeek because I had a gut feeling the ticket would never come through- I was right. It never came through, and my money was never refunded. I’m in an ongoing battle with StubHub for them to refund my $90. It’s ridiculous how poor their support is for how large and reputable of a company they are. I will never purchase a ticket from StubHub and I will make sure nobody I know ever does again. Their reselling scheme works maybe 50% of the time and their support teams are built on stalling customers to keep their money as long as possible. Very disappointed in StubhubI bought 4 SF Giants baseball tickets on Stubhub yesterday. I got an email saying the tickets were ready but when I tried to access them, three of the four tickets were missing bar codes. I contacted Stubhub and was told they would fix the problem the following morning. I waited but heard nothing in the morning and the bar codes were still missing. I called Stubhub and was told the seller is out of town and can’t fix the problem for 3 days. I don’t know whether to believe this or not. So far Stubhub has charged me a lot of money for worthless tickets and I’m supposed to trust a seller I know nothing about. How can you sell tickets that at this point aren’t valid? Stubhub also said not to worry because they would refund my money at the time of the event if valid tickets aren’t provided. I bought tickets because I want to attend the game. A last minute refund is totally unacceptable. We have guests from Milwaukee coming to SanFrancisco for this game. Also Stubhub charged me a service fee of approximately 25%. I asked how this charge was calculated and the agent said it’s based on things like supply and demand and how the tickets are issued. This is a non explanatory explanation if I ever heard one!

No HelpI purchased tickets for the San Jose Sharks season opener. I then received an email saying that my tickets were no longer available but that they had even better seats awaiting and that they would be emailed to me. I saw on their website that if the tickets had not arrived by 10 AM the day of the event to call the helpline. I did and was waiting on hold for over an hour. I then was informed that I would receive a refund to my StubHub wallet and I would be able to access these funds for new tickets within 30 minutes. The event is for this evening and I still do not have my refund in my StubHub wallet. Terrible experienceI live in Boston and wanted to go and see Steve Aoki playing in Vegas for the New Years Eve. So decided to buy my ticket through Stubhub for the first time. Stub Hub is a complete & absolute jokeBought tickets for a game that ended up being farther away then expected. That was on me, but when I tried to return them it wasn’t an option & I had to resell & eat up fees, which are also ridiculous by the way. Almost half the price of the tickets. I did not received my ticketsI have never had a treatment like this one! Terrible SupportRecently purchased tickets to a football game , reached out to Stubhub on 3 occasions unable to view my tickets. Each time was directed to call back in a couple days and if it still wouldn’t work I was promised a refund so I could get myself new seats. This dragged on for 2 weeks. Last time I called I was not rewarded a refund which was promised , and all they told me was to try to go to Will Call at the event and they “should” be able to get my tickets. I have purchased already overpriced tickets to Rufus du Sol last Saturday , when I tried to open / download them, clicked on “ claim tick to button , it transferred me to Ticketmaster , where automatic message saying “ this ticket transfer was cancelled by the sender “ appeared everytime I tried to get to my tickets.
Talked to StubHub customer service , they did send me new ticket, walked me step by step through process of getting tickets and same message appeared , therefore I was not able to get to my tickets.
Talking to their customer service guy on the phone, he offered me tickets to another section ( which didn’t make any sense for me , since all my friends that I came with , were in original section, so I told him that if they can’t give me sam tickets I can’t accept tickets to different section - he said that he will request refund for me , which I should recieve working next few days .
Instead , I received message from StubHub saying that they have to reject my request , that they sent me some tickets or whatsoever , which they didn’t .
