Form your own gang by recruiting cool cowboys, crazy Mexicans and brave Indians. Take up a smart, strategic position and lie in wait at the canyon to ambush settlers, stagecoaches and the gold train. Rain bullets, lead and flaming arrows down on the pious pioneers! If your victims look like they might escape, set off in pursuit to stop them from alerting the Sheriff! When you have bagged more than a fistful of dollars, you'll be able to afford cannons or a steam train with a Gatling gun to send around the level!

I always come back to playing this game. I wish their other military-type shoot-em up games were built on the same format as this one. I’ve downloaded their other games, played them 2 or 3 times and then deleted them. This format is still the best. As others have stated, I payed for premium but, it did not carry over when I got a new iPad.
I wish the developer would continue with expansion packs. I wish all tower dense games used this game style. I have never found a similar game that can match the fun and design of this game. Thank you Handy Games!
I still remember playing it all day when I was in college. Now I’m installing it back to play from the start years after graduated.
Dear developers, I ask you to add to the game the function of restoring purchases because after the device change progress and purchases are reset . Оtherwise this game is gorgeous
This game is a total classic with endless fun!

I just love this game!
ITS SO PEAK!
Good old days
It’s a good game
I bought this before the free version came out and guess what? I don't give a crap. It's worth every penny! And thanks for the update!! It expanded the levels double. That's what I call a update. For your next one I think a little different path would be great like a series of towns you need to beat. Old west town that you take over. I will Facebook you guys and I have some great ideas you may want to use. Please keep the updates coming I really enjoy your great game! Why have more people not reviewed this game? Come on people! Support the game because I really like it and want some good future updates. Man I wasn't even one of the lucky ones who got one of the promo codes I paid full price and you guys who got it free can't say thanks by giving a review? This is a great game. It's obvious the devs but time and detail into this game. I am a honest to god reviewer and have no agenda other than giving support to games that I like and want to continue. So let's get this game to one of the top spots. This is a fun and original TD game. Well worth the time and the $.
Finally you can employ some real strategy instead of just "learning the pattern". Not that I mean to pick on TM, but I get frustrated with that game because usually you have learn a precise timing pattern. In this game it is a constant hit and move, so you have to read the board, understand your ambush points, decide when and if to upgrade, collect random power ups, and then how to best deploy all of the above. What I would like to see is WAY MORE TIME between waves to reset your men and plan your strategy. In fact, I don't even understand why they force this issue? With The units being so small you'll often try to tap one to move them, but will invariably hit another person or object wasting precious seconds. My feeling is that this type of problem could be compensated for by having more time to read and study the board and set characters between waves. Still give it a big thumbs up though overall.
Updated with 10 more free levels and steamboats! Looks great! Only played one level so far, but very happy. Still find it hard to tell the sleeping from the live towers. Also, Mississippi levels default to a 3star difficulty level, but I can't seem to adjust it. Am I missing something? Oh yeah, new level pack(Oregon) is coming soon. Tower defense fans really need to give this game a try... Original review: I'm new to the TD style game. Love tower madness. This game is just as good. The towers are mobile, and the theme is a blast! Few minor things. I wish I could zoom more. Also, sometimes the touch controls don't work well at all. The towers are all very small, and look the same as the sleeping towers. I frequently am wasting time looking for my towers. Making the "live" towers look different, larger or some type of arrow would help. Also, an adjustable level of difficulty would be useful (with a level that is easier and a level that is harder then the current game). I would like to see this addressed in a future update. Would love to see additional maps and towers as well. Edit: Woohoo! Looks like more maps are coming!!! Other then that, a truly wonderful game. Thanks!
This game is REALLY fun, and requires some creative ingenuity as the levels get higher. The only "annoyance" I've found so far include the fact that the screen is to small for the map (so as the levels advance, I have to flip all over the place - would be nice to see the ability to view (and interact) with the whole map at once) and the fact that I find myself accidentally clicking people (because their "space" is larger than just their body) and so when things get moving quickly, I sometimes end up clicking/moving people that I didn't mean to...that part is mildly frustrating, but just takes getting used to. Those two issues aside, this game is the funnest one I've played in some time, and I play pretty much every free games that shows up in the list. If this is the level of quality that HandyGames is planning for all their games, I anxiously look forward to the next one. GREAT JOB!!!!
Pro: Free; lots of action; numerous and upgradeable characters; lots of levels; autosave; some story adds variation. Con: Units cost too much/settlers do not yield enough gold; somewhat repetitive. Suggestions: 1. balance cost/gold yield so that by the end of the level a player can own and upgrade most units on the field, 2. add more units, 3. make upgrades more interesting and useful (tri-shot, exploding rounds, etc.) (and perhaps a visual difference in weapon fire), 4. add an upgrade tree (so that the same unit can be upgraded in different ways, 5. add achievements, 6. change the Native American character so that the character is not stereotypical (speech and visuals); 7. add more waves (in conjunction with changing the cost structure) so that the player gets the benefit of having a full army; 8. a pause between waves (which can be sped up) so that players can reset their characters' positions and collect pickups. Review: This tower defense game keeps you moving because, in order to win, you have to keep moving your towers. It's free, so a big thanks for that! The train-mounted Gatling guns look cool, but you'll need cannons and dynamite galore if you want to cut down wagons. The addition of a Native American character is welcome, but the fact that the portrayal is stereotypical is unfortunate and unwelcome. Levels are somewhat varied, so you'll occasionally have to customize your tactics in order to win. There are useful pickups, but you'll find yourself hard-pressed to give up a desperado to actually collect them. Where the game really falls down is in its cost structure. Units are far too expensive in light of the money you get for gunning down settlers. So, despite the fact that there is the potential for amassing a fully-upgraded army, most of the time you'll find you can't even afford the Magnificent Seven. This becomes truly frustrating. In one level, you have only five sheriff stars, and a shortcut that makes the train useless. Even after collecting pickup after pickup, I had only two Level 3 desperados, two Level 3 cannons, one Level 1 cannon, one Level 1 Gatling gun, and one Level 0 dynamiteer. This wasn't enough to stop the horde. The cost structure issue ends up robbing the fun from this promising game.
I just started playing. I was a little confused with the directions at first. I think I have the lite version which appears to be most the game. I deleted the full v because I had trouble on Oregon state level 5. Units will not move properly to kill doctor so he gets away and you can't advance. This is at easy mode which appears to be next to impossible. If I can't advance I am going to delete it and give it 1 star. Graphics are cartoonish. I killed the doctor and advanced.
This was one of the first TD games I played, and I love it quite a bit. As many people will tell you, it's a 5-star game. I can't believe how many people docked this game from 5 stars to 1 star just because an in-app purchase for a new map pack was added and they expected it to be free. If you don't want to buy it, then don't. You considered what you had to be worth 5 stars before, and just because you have to buy extra content doesn't tarnish the rest of the game.
I am really enjoying this game. The graphics detail and game play is very well done. The story, setting, and scenes are fun and very innovative. You earn points as you defend your base. The bad guys are the good guys here which is kind of a fun twist. The game is not about killing tiny animated characters, it is about working strategically with limited resources to defend your base. Should I get another gunner, hold out for dynamite, or ally with a friendly chief with flaming arrows? Fun game. Get it while it is cheap.
Playing on iPad 2, OSes 4.3 and 4.3.1, there was a fairly frequent bug where units stop responding to movement commands. The units sometimes have pathfinding issues anyway, but this is actually a bug where you can no longer order a unit to move. You can click on the unit, and tap where you want it to move, but the green marker just flashes briefly and does not stay on the screen. The unit gives the acknowledgement audio response but does not actually move anywhere. It's like unit is getting stuck either due to a pathfinding bug or stuck on objects in the map, not sure which. If this gets resolved, this is a 5-star app and definitely worth the price. UPDATE Mar 2012: Bug appears to be squashed. Great to see a classic game still being updated and supported!
Yo, SERIOUSLY... GET THIS GAME!!! I have not been able to put my since I loaded it! Even though I have some recommendations 4 it, I'm still giving it 5's. OK, 1st let me say that as fun as it is, ever is rite. It's a little difficult to beat SOME of the harder boards w/ so little $ earned. I mean it's hard enough just 2 let loose a man 2 fetch the $chests. Also please put a quick in & out zoom screen so that you can see the entire board, or @ least upgrade the map a little because even on an , I still can't really see everything! Other than that it's PERFECT! for making such a great game! YOUR GONNA ◢█◣◢█◣ ██████ ◥████◤ ◥██◤ ◥◤ THIS GAME! PS: I think I read that they're coming out w/ GunsNGlory #2. AWESOME! Can't wait!
I loved this game when it first came out, but figured the promised updated would never happen. I was very pleasantly surprised by the most recent update that brought in new levels and characters. While I find the new wagon explosion animation pretty corny, the game is one of my top three favorites and I find myself coming back for more pretty frequently.
In the next update you should add more soldiers and enemies. At the end of each level you should have a boss, Maybe make a new slot in the train for the soldiers to get in and shoot out of it, Maybe you could put a new soldier that can build a new bridge going from one place to another. Please read this thank you for listening.
After the update (iPad2) i click on Alaska or that key in the lower right and it sometimes crashes but when it doesn't crash it says it can't connect to iTiunes. I AM connected to iTunes or how else did i get the update?! anyway, i am connected and i had previously purchased the Dakota pack but something is "broken" when i click Alaska ot click that "key" to unlock all. help
As an App designer myself, I have to say you guys did a fantastic job with this App! It takes tower defense games to the next level like no other game I've played and the easy controls make it super fun and challenging. One suggestion is make the gatteling Gun way more powerful! Thanks for your hard and creative work!
The game is simple enough that my six year old can play it and have a ball. Complicated enough that I can spend a lot of time figuring out the best layout for my men to get the most cash! The whole Family is having a great time playing this game. Buy it, you won't regret it.
Great app. Got it for free when it went on sale. There are adds, but you can skip right through them. At least they aren't pop-up adds that come up in the middle of when you are playing. I would recommend this app to people who love strategy and "shoot em up" games.
I love the game but the maps should be free to people who have already bought the game. And you should make some updates where it will add maps like California, Washington, Utah, Wyoming, south dakota, Montana, ect. Until you have all of the western states and most of the mid western states too.
It could use some improvements. I'm sure in the future it'll get better, overall though, I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of the game. Can't wait for future updates. Making units cheeper with more time between waves would be great.
Overall, this is a very well made game. The graphics, music, everything is very polished and pleasing to the eye. I love the ability to move my guys around in real-time. This is a huge improvement over other tower defense games. A++++!!!
This game is fun! Lots of levels and challenges. I only wish characters could walk over each other so I wouldn't have to spend time moving everyone around just to get one character by.
As soon as I saw the trailer for this game about a month ago, it became an instabuy. Usually, I'm not a big fan of TD games, but this is the only exception. Great graphics that the devs obviously spent some time on, easy to learn controls, and mainly hooking gameplay. For the price, the game is a must!
At $0 and zero cents, this app's a gift! I found it easy to pick up and appropriately challenging. With a touch of "zainy" cartoon charm, GunsNGlory drew me in even in spite of being unfamiliar with tower defense games. You might be a little irritated by the game's use of bizarrely outdated stereotypes (ie the lazy 'Bandito' and superstitious 'Native' characters), but hey, that's the spirit of colonialism.
This is my fallback iPad time wasting activity when all my podcasts are done and I'm out of wifi range. I've actually deleted and reloaded it so I can go through all the levels again!
Really fun game! It's a different style of TD, but it's fun! My only real problem is sometimes one or two people get stuck in place and can't move, even when there is nothing around them. But I'm guessing this is some bug that will get ironed out eventually, nothin major. I wish you didn't have to pay for the new maps, I got the game for free on my droid and it had all the maps. But that's no reason to take away from the 5 stars. Overall, great really fun game!!!
Great game. My only suggestion for the next update would be the ability to move a group of guys at once. Or atleast be able to pause and choose where guys move.
This is a nice game! Although it takes a liitle bit long each game. I also love it more if it has multiplayer, where you can build defender with each other. But anyway, this game is good enough for a free game!!! Nice!!!!
This is a really good game, except that you still have to pay for some of the levels despite this being the full version. If you change the additional level cost, then this will be five stars.
Fun unit variety and challenging gameplay. Cons: Fix these and it's a five star game! 1) Provide unit stats either on game or in the help. It's difficult to know whether more upgrades or more units would be better. 2) A "select next unit button" would help eliminate frustration over scrolling around to hunt for units and help prevent forgetting about others. 3) Improve access to personal high scores. I couldn't figure out how to view mine because the highscore button only takes you to the online rankings.
It's a fun game to kill time. I like the graphic and the audio and funny noises they made, but sometimes feel a bit repetitive and it crashes on the second map so I didnot finish the game. Hope they will fix it soon. Recommended. Well worth the $.99.
I have left this app on my phone for a year waiting for an update. Almost deleted it last week but I'm glad I didn't. Great game!
Love this game! After years of playing I still find myself going back to it again and again. Just got a new phone and here I am downloading it again. Love it!
Great fun, great humor, addictive and relaxing. Too bad there has been no level added since about 10 years... Their other games are not as much fun. Please add more levels!!

Guns'n'Glory Premium Negative Reviews and Ratings
Great game. I absolutely love everything about it especially the Wild West theme. But where the heck is the restore in-app purchases button. I’m certain I bought and played the extra maps years ago. I recently reinstalled the app and can’t play the whole game again without paying again. Not cool. That’s an EA move and I know you don’t wanna be compared to them. Fix this please. Like I said, great game otherwise. 😏
It’s an enjoyable and weirdly addicting tower defense game. My only complaint is that after purchasing the additional maps and eventually getting a new iPad, the purchase didn’t carry over. I haven’t bought them again, and I probably won’t.
Paid for premium a few years ago and Now it doesn't work? Ripoff.
As with many games, this was fun and challenging for many, many levels. But it came to a point where you run into that one level that just cannot be completed unless things are done absolutely perfect and even then, that's just not quite enough. After WEEKS of trying to accomplish the same level, I simply gave up and deleted the app. It's so sad that many games end their existence due to that one level that's just too darn difficult! I hope the devs read this and can add hints & tips in later updates. (Defeating the doctor in Oregon's "dynamite plains" was impossible for me and took hours just to get to that point. No "Skip this level" option. Stuck there. Frustration ultimately left me NO choice but to delete. Pity.)
As a tower D afficiendo, I was interested immediately in this game. It does add it's own unique twist of movable "towers" which adds another level of micromanagement. This mechanic is fun as power ups, money and such encourage the player to use the mobility but with only 5 'tower' types, and roughly the same amount of enemies seems a bit underwhelming. The biggest problem exists in mostly the lack of levels, 10 in all. Due to the nature the human towers, upgrade pathing seems logical but alas, towers have little wiggle room for upgrades. It's a good game, and better than most tower d games but fails to capitalize on a great idea. Maybe there'll be updates or sequel, as it stands it's worth the price of admission but could be much more.
This game has potential to be a good game, but the dev should take the developer behind kingdom rush as an example. take out all IAP and give the extra maps as free updates. don't take IAP as a granted, but just accessory to the game, so gamers who are impatient can speed up the game process by buying the IAP, but for the gamers who choose to experience the whole gameplay would feel IAP is completely unnecessary. more balance to the game will take the whole experience in the game to the new level.
Add an option to turn off the buzz when a settler gets through. I hate the buzz! Maybe flash the screen. Kinda difficult to play the larger maps on the iPhone. Maybe make two separate games, one for iPad another for iPhone. Some of the maps are very hard, which can be a good thing, but I'm not sure it's balanced right. Maybe make difficulty choices, hard setting getting less money, more creeps, etc.
This is not a fun game...could have been, but it just falls short. 4 levels in and it's all the same. There are no upgrades to units, and although you see a few dozen cowboys in a level, you'll never have enough money to hire more than a small handful. Just a very boring game. Also, the units in this game are soooo small, as well as the grid. It is frustratingly difficult to select units close to each other, and even harder to position a unit close to another one. Luckily I got this game while free, as I would feel bad having paid even $0.99 for it.
Unlike the phone version you can not drag the characters in the direction you like which makes them much harder to control. Also there are many glitches including one that causes characters to move parallel with others even when you haven't clicked on them. I loved this game so much and if the gameplay is improved and the glitches are fixed I will gladly give 5 stars.
The only problem I have with it is every now and then the trains become a pain to control. I try to send them one way and it goes the opposite way. The green marker gets stuck on other trains and I guess all the trains read as if I'm sending them that way. It's very frustrating. Especially when you're trying to kill all the settlers in the carriages. Other then that, great game.
I've played more fun 'tower defense' type games before and I didn't like how this one doesn't fill up the entire iPad screen even though it's an iPad specific game. This game also gets too difficult too quick and quickly and it becomes nearly impossible to solve the level only a few levels in. Even though this game is free as of this review, I deleted it.
Bad
I want my $ back
Not original and you quickly need to pay more to get more levels... Ripoff!!!
I liked it but it isn't working properly anymore
