Cozmo's Day Off - Storybook Customer Service

Great book, one of my daughter's most requested apps. The games and interactions are all cute and great. Would be 5 stars except for the freakishly long and hard airplane game in the middle. You can't tell preschoolers that there's a reward and then make it that obnoxious to get to. Other than that it's a fantastic app- just asked daughter what her favorite page was and she said "every page, all of the pages! Everyone should get Cozmo" so there ya go...

After reading this I felt the need to write a positive review to outweigh the negative ones I read. The app has been developed well, it is clean and easy to use. There is original artwork and several interactive areas on each page of the book along with appropriate sound at good volumes. There are a number of settings available so the app can be adjusted to your appropriate age as well as read along text, incorporated games and other fun additions for kids to play with. I only wanted the story to be longer!

I first downloaded Cosmos about 5 years ago or more, for my grandson when he was very small. He loved it, as did I. He played with it until my granddaughter downloaded it and began playing it a couple years ago. She is now 4 and still loves it. Please keep adding to the story, it’s one of our family favorites!

OK - so last week, I was trying to find some Dr. Seuss books that were interactive since his birthday was last week. Well, I stumbled upon a review that spoke of this app very highly and I just had to check it out. Not taking the reviewer at his word, I downloaded the lite version. I was instantly hooked!! I HAD to spend the $3.99 and get the full app. I laughed so hard playing with and reading this app that my son came into my room to see what was so funny. He curled up next to me (he's not a child either at 14 ~ LOL) and became immediately engrossed with the last page of the app. So, we started it all over again and now this app has become a family favorite. I can't wait for Ayars Animation to come up with more interactive story books. Not only are all 3 books extremely interactive but they are clean and wholesome and fun for any age group. Get this app and enjoy this book and share it with all your friends; I did b/c I couldn't resist sharing this experience with the readers of my blog and FB page. I can't imagine anyone not liking this app. Ayar Animations does a magnificant job of engrossing it's readers with this high quality app. Thanks for all your hard work and creativity. This is an amazing, wonderfully interactive book! My students love it! There are so many things to touch, see, and hear on each page. Cozmo's Day Off is exactly the way you wish ibooks could be and, once you read it, you become spoiled for other ibooks. It works great on my iPad 2. My only complaint would be that I wish they had more stories of the same caliber available.

My kids love the book. It is fantastic!!!! Congratulations I only gave you 4* because for $4 we felt that you could have done many more pages - 10 pages is to little for this price. My kids expected to keep on going but we reach the end too quick :( Thanks

My children already like the "Jack and the Beanstalk" application from Ayars Animation. Cosmo lives up to the challenge. My kids love the animations. This story book is really packed with them - almost everything you see has some action behind. In addition they like to be able to record they voices and play with them. Nice Job!!

I am loving this fun eBook. The animation and story line are so well done. The music score and sound effects are Disney qualtiy or better. There is something new on every page, each time i re-read it. The option to record my own voice as the narrator is very unique. My kids can hear the story told in my voice. I hope there are more Cozmo stories in the future. The interactive games are engaging for young children (preschool) and even teens. Much more than I expected! This is a great app. My 2.5yr old is captivated by the different things she can make it do. I particularly like that I can record the text of the book and have it read back to her on each page. I found myself trying out everything on the pages to see what they could do. Great fun.

So MUCH interaction - This is an amazing book! The graphics are fantastic too. I wish that each word highlighted when it was being read. That's the only WANT I have. But this book sets the standard for all children's books on the iPad in my opinion.

I thought the story was lacking, but the effects were amazing. It's fun to play on all the pages and the graphics are beautiful, and beautifully done.

My four year old loves this app! There are so many interactions and the story is great. Cozmo is so cute! There is also an ability to record your own voice and make funny sounds with it. The kids are having fun with that. I even had a little fun with that!

I can't believe there are no reviews for this app! It is AWESOME! I'm having as much fun as the kids. Great illustrations, story and animation. So much to do besides the story. Please keep making more apps! This is the kind of app that everyone should mimic. I bought all of your other apps and am thrilled with them as well. :)

My grandsons really like this app. They come back to it more often than most of the other storybooks that I have (and I have a lot). Their favorite part is where it says"I wouldn't do that . . ." I highly recommend Cosmo.

There are many electronic children's books, but few truly interactive one's that utilize the potential of the iPad with embedded features and games. Ayers animation is the best in my humble opinion. they have another book, Jack And The Bean Stalk and it is also of the highest quality. I have a 2 year and a 4 1/2 year old and these are clearly their two favorite books. There are other good books, to be sure, but these are our favorites. Definitely worth 4 dollars! Simply SPECTACULAR!

Each page is loaded with hidden interactive fun. My son starts dancing when the songs play. Great artwork and animation. Quality app all around.

One of top interactive book app period. Great story, presentation and Hollywood style effects. Around 100 animation effects. Your kids will love it.

This is a great interactive story book! My 4 year old daughter and 7 year old son loves it on both the iPad and the iPhone!

I got this because the Jack & the Beanstalk book was SO great. Cozmo is just as great, if not more so. I will continue to buy each book from Ayar & I highly recommend them! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because Jack & the beanstalk syncs with my 2 iTouch devices &, unfortunately, Cozmo does not. It's ONLY for the iPad. My 3 & 6 year old will surely argue over taking turns on my iPad but no matter. Still an awesome book!

This is a wonderful app, full of surprises and awesome animation. I could not stop playing with it. I know my grand kids will love it! Totally worth the price!

There are so many different things to see and do in this game! The kids love it!

So few developers provide as much content and interactivity as Ayars does with their books. High quality illustrations, fun reader, fun games, and a good little story make this an app worth buying. Expect you and your children to nbd hooked on this book for days if not longer. It's what interactive storytelling should be. Great job!

This is such a fun game for the kids. They can read the story, record their voices and play it back. It also helps my 6 yr. old with her reading skills. The interactive stories are great and trying to find the hidden surprises are addicting. Our family is having a wonderful time with this new app!!!!! Thanks!

My son and I love this book. We both love the voice control that allows you to slow or speed up the narration and the graphics are top quality. There are plenty of things to discover on every page but my favorite is the ability to record your voice on every page so that your child can hear the story with your voice. We own Jack and the Beanstalk and my son's favorite thing was locating the chick on every page, in this book it is the dog :-)

My 2 year old son's (and my) expectations were high when we downloaded this book. After all, Jack and the Beanstalk is our favorite iPad book by far. We were not disappointed. Cosmos is almost as great as Jack. Lots of interactions that take full advantage of the iPad functionality, and a fun imaginative story. Also, nice addition that you can record your own voice. But, Ayars, here are a few things you can improve on for the next one: 1) there are almost too many things going on taking away from the story. For example, the soap spraying gets real annoying when you can't skip through it (and my son insists on touching the extinguisher again and again), 2) the story is way too short - only ten pages, and 3) the text box is way too big blocking many interactions and making it impossible for me to read out loud while my son touches stuff. With that said, it's great to see companies like yours pushing the envelope. Keep it up. We'll be reading Cosmos and Jack waiting for the next great book from Ayars.

This book is clever and funny - the hidden puzzles are terrific. I'm a mom to a newly 5 year old and my daughter and her friends love games with a lot of interaction - where nearly everything responds to touch. So many games fail in this respect - but this game succeeds. The production value is beautiful and the game is really fun. We also downloaded the jack and the beanstalk game. They're both head and shoulders above any other interactive books out there. I've bought at least 25 of them and I know the crap thats out there. This game is outstanding.

After I gambled and bought Ayars' first product, Jack and the Beanstalk, I and my two-year-old were waiting to see what may be coming. Cosmo was everything we were looking for. I've bought quite a few books and Ayars is consistently ahead of everyone else with interactive media. The games in Cosmo are brilliant and the heavy interaction keeps us entertained for a long time...not an easy feat for my son. Its not gambling any more, I look forward to his next release in May and will certainly be a first adopter.

I really hope Ayars is making money on these apps as they are so wonderful. One drawback is that it is a little short despite their being a lot to do on each page. I would have preferred twice the page count for half of the interactivity. In any event, this is definitely a show what the iPad can do app. Great user interface; my 2-year-old can use this app by herself including the storyboard that lets her skip to her fav page. Great production and the sound and illustrations can't be beat. I'm jealous of this developer, what a fun job!

This app is great but a little expensive for the number of pages. We like all the interactive items, recordable feature, etc. Happy with the purchase and recommend to others with younger kids.

I purchased this fun book for my two grandsons, ages 7 & 5. They love triggering the many animations on each page and the ability to record their own voice reading the story or making one up. As well, they had lots of fun changing the tonality of the voice making themselves or the reader sound like chipmunks or a robot. This is a great interactive and beautifully illustrated read-along book for young children.

I love the animation and interctivity but sadly it's missing what we loved about Jack and the Beanstalk-- the music!!! There are great songs in Jack and the Beanstalk that my kids loved and it's a glaring omission in Cozmo. Keep at it though, my kids love the interactive buttons and hidden puzzles. The story is okay, but felt a little short. Overall, worth the price.

This was exactly what I was looking for to help my 9-year-old struggling reader. The text rhymes, most of the words were easy, and the chance to record himself encouraged him to really try. Plus, he had to read a page before he got to interact with it, and LOVED the interactions. Thanks so much! I just bought Jack and the Beanstalk, and I anxiously await more titles!

With so many iOS updates, this App has produced none, and the sound no longer plays. The App is completely muute, no music, no narration, no effects, just images. Pretty pathetic for a paid App.

Would have been fun if it was more of a children's theme and doing something childlike instead of being late to work but looking and acting like a child. Of course that is me, the parent. My 5 year old thinks it grand (though I read the story differently than what they wrote) and likes to push things in the story. Thanks to the publishers to allow us to turn off their text and audio.
