The best tasks app w/ Google calendar-tasks!Continue to love this app! Especially after resolving syncing issues (that after months I figured out an option that worked in my situation) which was by deleting the account in the gTasks and adding it again (rather than trying to re-logging in). It now works perfectly again with my Google calendar tasks. I did have to delete duplicate tasks when things re-synced. On a side/2nd note, I had multiple lists and discovered that only one list that would properly sync with Google calendar tasks when created on Google (not gTasks). I renamed the list on gTasks to G-Cal, then painstakingly went into each task in the app and changed the List option to G-Cal. Then on Google calendar they would appear on the side tasks list. Weird thing was that after a while my other lists showed up. But I wanted to have tasks created in Google calendar to go into and sync with the main list I was using on gTasks rather than have to switch from lists. Don’t know if that 2nd part made sense, but hope this helps those who are having syncing issues..TKTennisPlayerVersion: 4.9.15

I'm happy.This works great for my needs. I was using another very popular task management app until I got an Apple Watch and discovered the app doesn't work on the watch. I proceeded to try several other apps, one of which wasn't intuitive at all, one of them didn't offer manual re-ordering of tasks (wth?), and many that required a subscription (I don't mind paying up front, but I need another subscription like I need my car to be firebombed.). This one checks all the boxes for me: straightforward and simple but robust enough, calendar integration, the right task-repeating features, and of course Apple Watch integration. Haven’t seen betterThe app itself is a very good one once you get it set up; although mobile and desktop to apple desktop don’t sync on set ups and at that point you aren’t familiar with the app to know what you are doing as far as customizing. I agree with other reviews on poor customer service. I sent in questions 2 weeks ago and haven’t gotten a reply. Also can’t find the Windows desktop version for the app to purchase either. And, you have to purchase in 3 places if you use mobile and both types of desktops. Also, don’t be fooled by thinking this is a Google product as it’s not. There’s not a better list with the functionality and sharing abilities this app has. In addition to having multiple lists. Would be nice to export into pdf or MSOffice or Google Drive format. It grew on meI had the older version of G tasks and really loved it. Primarily because it has the ability for me to create task categories - like the name of a client for example- and then easily move to do items to those categories. This is so helpful when thinking of all certain steps I need to do for that person/org. Then when I’m on Google calendar the synchronization was great. If I could give feedback: I miss the pinch and create a new task. It made it very convenient. Perhaps bring that back or another means of quickly creating a new step. AND the ability to do so without having to go to the sub-screen. Keep it simple. Not so many new things that it takes away from the interface. Bells and whistles can get out of hand. Is there a way to integrate with third party CRM’s? I use Salesflare for example and they have a good task manager but it is no where as good as GTasks. To synch with it would be amazing. SalesFlare tends to get overlooked as a third party application to integrate with great programs such as GTasks which is odd as they are a very good platform. Very goodThe design and layout is intuitive and is pleasing to the eye. The entry method is great and I can quickly add new items to a list or finish the list because of the way the dev designed the keyboard input. When you add an item the keyboard has a next button in place of the rerun button, just push that and it adds that item to your current list and automatically has a new item entry started so you can just type a new item without doing anything else. If you do not want to add a new item and want to finish adding things to that list just hit the done button on the keyboard and you are done. It's a really great system..Here in caliVersion: 4.9.7

Beats the competition!I am a big believer in to-do apps. I used Errands for a couple years, but was a little too basic. Then used Todoist for the past year, but they had technical issues that they failed to fix for months, that caused me to start my search again. This app is everything I wanted. Syncs w/ my ipad, my calendar items are there, and I can print it! Very organized & easy to use. My only wish is it had a calendar view when picking the date w/out an alarm, can never figure what day of the week it is, but the positives out way that one tiny thing ten fold. Finally a easy and great ToDo list appI kid you not I have been searching for over two years for a ToDo list app. This one is incredible. The sub-task ability makes my life so much easy to plan what I need to do. I made a Header “Calls to Make” and then I list all with whom I need to call as “sub tasks” - reminder system great. GTasks Is Wonderful!I have used this app for three days now, and I learned quickly to make sure that when I sync to my G tasks on my Google calendar that I put everything into the default task list. Otherwise, you will have two different lists with the same name. I didn’t have that many tasks in the list so I just simply re-copied them to the default and deleted the one on my phone. Best organizer and remindersI use it to set goals, break down into steps and keep on track. I set it and forget it, knowing it will wake me up when I need it. One issue is that I have it on iPadPro and iPhone and about once or twice a year, it stops sync’ing tasks and it doesn’t fix itself. I end up deleting app on one device and resync. Best tasking app I have tried!Best tasking app to date for both my iPhone & my Apple Watch. It allows easy separation of tasks and lists with due date and time options. GTasksI really enjoy using Google tasks. It works on all my devices. It’s simple and elegant in its functionality. However Google Tasks has no search function. And other things being equal that would rule it out for me. Very nice appI like this very much. I like the fact that it is free and is not loaded with commercials. I do wish that when you selected an item to check off that it did not disappear so fast. Sometimes my finger may inadvertently touch an item and it is gone before I can realize what I have done. Bad notifications updateSince the last update I keep getting continuous notifications for the same task in the Notification Center and in the app itself. I think the problem stems from when you snooze a scheduled task, it treats it as a completely new task in the notifications center instead of realizing that it is the same one and just showing you that you have a single notification from the app for that specific task. The best app I've found for lists and simple tasksThis app takes the 1, 2 approach to making a grocery list or tasks. 1 or 2 taps and you've added something to your list or removed it. So far, so perfect!I’m a task-app aficionado, and I’ve been let down virtually 99% of the time. I have no problem paying for apps (if it’s like, what, $7⁰⁰ a year, and it makes my life much more efficient, I’d say that’s worth a few coffees!) and very rarely have I found one that I will even tolerate keeping on my phone. If I don’t like it, it’s 86’d and never considered for a second chance - I like customizability, and I prefer compartmentalization. I cannot stand when apps force various unrelated tasks to congregate in a focal area, because that doesn’t bode well for me. I have ADHD, and compartmentalizing the various to-do’s of my life are the only way that I can get through to-day. This app has floored me, because I’ve practically given up hope of finding something that I would genuinely find so closely aligned with my particular desires within a task-master app. Is it absolutely perfect for what I had in mind? Of course not - I doubt anyone could design an app that would unless I did it myself. And while I do program, I don’t feel like learning swift, so that’s not exactly on the table at the moment. Poor customer serviceI recently purchased the full version of the app with the thinking it would sync w/ the app on my Windows 10 laptop. I felt it would be better than the Outlook interface with the app. It did for a few days then stopped demanding that I purchase the full version on Microsoft store. I reached out to the customer service thru app on my iPhone asking why I would have to purchase it a second time. I got an email back saying my message had been received and someone would get back to me. After more than a week no one got back to me. I sent another email saying I was shocked that no one had responded. Now more than a month later still nothing. I will be calling Apple today to request a refund. I refuse to do business w/ any developer who cannot be bothered to answer a question. Used to be really good, constantly loses sync now without any indicationThis used to be very reliable and indispensable for me. Unfortunately, I’m constantly finding that the app on my phone is out of date lately, and it’s only because I realize items I checked off elsewhere haven’t propagated to my iOS device. When I go to check on the account sign-in, I see a message indicating “Last connection failed!” - but you’d never know this until you go to that setting. The app should let you know at some point if the connection has failed. I keep having to re-sign in to my Google account. Sync appears to be completely broken at the moment. Dishonest developerWhen I got the receipt from apple from renewing the paid subscription for the app I discovered that I had been charged an additional $3 in addition to the $6 that the original subscription cost. This developer clearly lacks basic ethics as far as honoring the stated cost of the subscription and happily adds in hidden costs. When I contacted apple support to fix the problem they were reluctant to do anything and said that maybe they would do the right thing in 48 hours. Based on the response, i would never buy anything from this developer and am reluctant to ever pay for an app on the apple store. Update: The apple store has corrected the problem. Would be great- IF it would sync... or OPEN.UPDATE: Dropped to 1 star. While the following inability to sync was is bad enough - now I can’t even open the desktop app (I have since deleted the useless mobile version). It opens- but as soon as I click anywhere on it, it crashes and closes. I’ve contacted support about these issues multiple times and have never had a single response. Previous Review (2 stars, at the time): I pay for both the mobile and desktop apps- I love the desktop app- it’s simple with enough features to serve the purpose. However- I can only use it on my desktop OR phone- bc no matter what I do- they don’t sync. Couple major bugsFirst bug I found: when on the mail Lists page and need to check accounts (or in my case, add a second), there is no back button unless you got Edit and then back out of the edit function. Then, the settings gear moves to the middle of the header and Accounts shows up. Also, edge swiping did not bring accounts up. But a good suggestion. Secondly, when actually in the Accounts page, the big plus button (on the Lists page actually as a list/note/etc.) is broken. It presses and depresses but does not have a link to do anything. Google task Sync partially fixedIt pains me to give a less than a 5-star review since I’ve been using gTasks seamlessly for years and historically it’s been the best integration with both google tasks and calendar. But the two way sync with Google tasks has been broken and although an update two days ago says the issue is fixed, it is not fully fixed. I suspect this may be as much a Google problem as a GTasks problem. When I add a repeating task from gTasks it shows up on the task list in Google but not on the calendar. When I move the date of a task in the Google calendar, it shows as original date in GTasks. When I clear a repeating task in Google it doesn’t show up in the task list or GTasks until the repeat date. When I create a task in Google and mark it complete in GTasks it clears in GTasks but shows as incomplete in Google. I’ve been trying replacement apps for days but can’t find one that works the way GTasks used to. Please fix this or work with Google to restore functionality!.Aaaron406Version: 4.9.15

Stopped synching; no support = uselessWorked brilliantly for a month or so and then new calendar events were no longer added. No active support available, and the “help” resources were feeble and did not address this issue. I did try deleting and reinstalling this app, as some reviewers have suggested. That wiped out 100% of the tasks from my Google Cal! Other reviewers have reported the same problem, multiple times over multiple years, but it apparently keeps recurring. Complete garbageI’ve wasted far more time trying to get this app to work than it has saved me by virtue of organizing my day. If it worked, it would be great. Unfortunately, at least three times a week it doesn’t sync properly. Worse, you don’t know it’s not syncing until you’ve already spent an entire day using it. At which point you have to re-create your input directly onto Google’s app. Why Google doesn’t do this itself, I don’t know. Problems with the syncing after purchasing the full appEverything was fine in regards to automatically syncing my tasks between iPhone and iPad. Location tasks don't work at allI wanted to like this app and was hopeful when I saw that it at least claimed to support location based alerts, however, they simply don't work properly. I set several location based alerts and they just go off whether I am near the location or not. I'm currently about 2000 miles away from the specified location and the alerts go off anyway. Bummer. No sync, No tech support, No moreI have been trying for weeks to reach tech support. The only response I get is that they will respond “as soon as possible”. The fact that they are too busy to address my issue tells me all I need to know about this app. Every time I try to sync I have to go into the app’s settings and give permission on each device. Duplicate notificationsI would love this app, except for when you silence a notification pop up, this notification tends to repeat itself and duplicate once you go to open the actual app itself.
