PBS KIDS Video Positive Reviews
Pbs rocks the brains of the little people.I loved pbs as a kid and still love it to this day. This is an amazing app because it brings with it old childhood memory’s. In the future I hope we keep pbs around with enough donations. Because I would extremely like it for my kids in the future as long as it doesn’t become some way of trying to manipulate my children through the shows. Please always keep it the same. Besides that I find pbs great because I have had conversations with other “adults” who are to “mature” for the shows 😂 and have found that pbs has taught me things the most adults don’t know, but here is the thing. I gave the app a four star because it doesn’t seem to be as organized as it could be. I like the individual tabs that show the shows and main characters. When you click on them though most of the episodes cut out before the show ends or begins or even in the middle sometimes like not all of the episode is there? Also it would be cool if we could just get all seasons and episodes all in chronological order like. Season 1 episode 1,2,3 and so on. That way the viewers can choose or pick favorite episodes for there kids. Or make it so you could bundle all your favorites together. I am so glad you guys have cyberspace and Clifford and many others on here. Coming from a viewer like me. Thank you! For creating such a good education program for kids. One of my favorites is Sid the science kid!.Version: 4.3.6
Great content, unstable app with quirky behaviorPBS Kids is dependable for having the best kids content—I never worry about what my kid is watching if I have him in here on Guided Access. It does, however, tend to crash/freeze a bunch (especially on older devices like an iPad Air 2, but also on our Apple TV HD) and for some reason often fails to stop the auto-playing stream when you choose something different to watch. This is worst on Apple TV, where you might try clicking to see the next Daniel Tiger episode from the TV app’s ‘up next’ selection, only to have the audio from an episode of Arthur (or whatever is next in the “Live TV” lineup) playing simultaneously with the Daniel Tiger episode — both at the same volume. I’ve learned to force quit the app then go directly to it to navigate to (in this example) Daniel Tiger, but the same thing can still happen even on iOS/iPadOS when choosing a video to watch while the “Live TV” selection is playing..Version: 6.3.2
Weird, it only shows Daniel Tiger and nothing else for your children to watchThree stars because the power went out in our house and then back on, and it only shows Daniel Tiger available. A few minutes ago I was watching Molly of Denali, Elinor wonders why, Xavier Riddle and Mister Rogers. Please fix. I’ve just seen Daniel Tiger and nothing else! And I love pbs kids though I’m 15 and I’ll still love it in the future along with Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. This is on my moms iPad and I don’t know what iPad she has. I use the Mister Rogers song “it’s you I like” as a lullaby to fall asleep, it’s cute. Also, add Blue’s Clues and You, Paw Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Dora, Diego, and Ukulele You. Ukulele You is a show on CBC (Canada) Kids and it is a show about a Guitarist that teaches kids songs and talks about feelings, Holidays around the world, and so much more, please add that and KIDZ BOP songs to the app. Also, which Specific seasons and episodes of Daniel Tiger are in Spanish? Cause I was watching Daniel Goes To The Hospital, and that’s season 5 episode 10, (and with an IPad and IPhone 6,) I tried to change the audio and subtitles to Spanish, and it just reverted back to English. I thought you developers said seasons 1 to 4 of Daniel Tiger are in Spanish, as well as all episodes of Alma’s Way and Hero Elementary. Update: the app works again and add Paw Patrol, Blaze and the monster machines, Blues clues and you, but please for God and Jesus’ love, add Paw Patrol. For all the fans out there. Make sure you developers say something about Paw Patrol!!! Please add it!! There’s a Sesame Street movie but the TV guide says it’s Daniel Tiger …? Also, answer my questions one at a time. Overall, this app and the games app are great for anyone of different races/ethnicities, size, age group, or gender. Love it!.Version: 6.4.4
Thank you for being FREEHello, I am a mom of a special needs teen I myself being an autistic adult with a special needs teen consistency really matters. When I had cable my daughter and I would watch the PBS kids 24/7 channel and our local PBS station alternating between the 2. I can no longer afford cable so I have an Apple TV device and we have the PBS kids video app. I’m so thankful that your app is FREE. Where as the competition channels are not free. You need a cable subscription which we do not have. But your station is FREE: I’m also so glad that you have brought back some of the older shows on the PBS kids video app such as Word World, Sci Girls, Mister Rogers Neighborhood and Maya and Miguel. My daughter LOVES word world we’ve struggled to find a place we can watch it and I can put it on for her my daughter is super excited for the new Daniel Tiger content coming out. I’m just all around so happy with your app. So thank you for being amazing and having an amazing app that we can enjoy for years to come.!.Version: 6.5
WeirdThey put way too much baby shows then they should I am actually forced into watching the videos and I’m actually kind of sad with the results because one, we’re on earth is the action, two they have absolutely no sense of humor none zero just educational educational educational education where on earth is a sense of humor three add more shows for older kids, they’re basically pointed on younger kids and I’m only eight years old and I’ve basically been watching this since I was like maybe infant but now I’m getting older now and I’m kind of disappointed what do results because where are the older kids shows that’s what I want to ask three why do they take out shows when I was a little kid but I’m basically still a kid they took out Caillou I was so sad because that’s one of my favorite shows back when I was a kid, so I think it needs some major improvements more sense of humor because if it’s jokes in there it’s obviously fake jokes in white made up stuff and just add more good stuff to it and not just educational educational educational education it’s not cool, because what do you put all that education in the kids mind it’ll get confused a bit in about what they need to do and all these different shows put two much education in the mind so I think it needs some improvements and some more older kids shows and yeah here are some of my favorite shows on there and they’re really not much one odd squad two arms white and three Pinkalicious and Peterrific and I liked watching it and still do because of Peter that’s basically it, and what about Mr. Rogers, do you like 1000 and beyond episode so why not put reruns on it that’s an idea because it’s a Roger still is one of my favorite shows of all time because he’s been doing it since like 1968 to 2003 and that’s like a couple decades to be honest so yeah put on reruns make older kids shows and yes I do think this needs major improvements that’s it..Version: 6.7.4
Disappointed in updateI’ve been a parent for 6 years and for most of those 6 years I can say that one of the things that has made my life easier is this app. And it has remained constant in a world full of unnecessary changes. But unfortunately PBS kids has decided they can’t leave well enough alone A few mornings ago when my daughter woke up in the 5 o clock hour I decided I needed a bit more sleep and I would let her watch her favorite PBS show on my phone. Groggy and with eyes half shut it should have been like autopilot but when I opened my app I figured I opened the wrong one. I opened it again and realized it had all changed. First- the orientation is different? Why? Landscape makes more sense because that is how shows are viewed. It is confusing to find anything. My kids used to be able to navigate the app and now it’s not even user friendly for me. When I select a show, one starts playing instantly. Very inconvenient as most kids like to pick their episode. Then when you pick your episode you have to make sure you screen orientation is unlocked so the show can be viewed in full screen. I’m all for change when it makes sense. In my house I always tell my kids we don’t say hate so I’ll just say I really really don’t like these changes. I’m begging you to go back to the original. I would be happy to change my review to 5 stars after that but this app just doesn’t make sense! You had something clear and streamlined and user-friendly. Now you have a jumbled mess..Version: 7.0.1
A tribute to “Molly of Denali”I wanted to write this review because i felt like i needed to pay tribute to a favorite show that I love and i think my heart needed that. Ever since I downloaded the app i’ve been feeling nostalgic because i used to watch PBS Kids while growing up and since then i’ve been revisiting some old shows and seeing new ones but when i watched “Molly of Denali” for the first time it was a completely different experience because i have lessons that never taught me before. 1: Respect all traditions even honoring native people ones. 2: Respect the land and the gifts that comes to you. 3: Respect the gifts that the animals give you and appreciate them willing to help. These lessons taught me about Native American Culture History and what life is like in Alaska. So much so that i researched and learned about the history of the Alaska State and decided to put on my bucket list to go and visit there some day. These taught lessons also helped a person who i was told that they were Cherokee. (Yes, i actually helped a person which i will not disclose because reasons.) I was told that person was never taught their native language by their relatives so i sent the person a website so they could take language classes and hopefully learn their native language again. I’m glad i wrote this review and i know that this is a lot to take in but i think it’s all worth it. And I will definitely carry the show’s legacy for years on end. I’ll end this review with one last note: Mahsichoo Molly and all of Qyah, you changed my entire life. — TheMatureKanawa2765.Version: 7.0.11
Terrific App!!! When it works :/I love PBS. We are PBS supporters. I love this PBS kids app. We mostly watch Daniel tiger and Sesame Street. However, sometimes the app doesn't work. Today is one of those days where the "wheel of death" just keeps spinning around and around and around with no loading of any kind. Other times when it doesn't work, it's more of a connection problem for casting to the TV. Most of the time if I have the app on the background of my phone, casting to the TV, while I do other things like make phone calls etc, if I open the app again it completely refreshes and causes disconnection with what was already play on the TV (it'll start the episode over again or go to live TV or even the wheel of death comes on the TV because it's getting mixed signals). This is annoying. But not enough to make me hate the app, just disappointed. 4 ⭐️ because I LOVE PBS but the app needs a bit of tweaking..Version: 3.5.0
5 Stars all the way. Perfect app for kids in every wayHow anyone could give this less than five stars beyond me. The content is unbelievable, and it’s FREE! Like really free. Like as in no ads, no banners, no pop-ups. There is literally nothing to purchase ever, and no way your child could accidentally wrack up charges like literally just about every other kids app that exists. All the content is completely wholesome. You will never, ever have to worry about what your kids are watching. The only people who are giving this low ratings are doing so for odd reasons like they can’t get it to cast properly to other devices, or it’s closing out the app when a phone call comes in, etc. All things that they could fix if they understood the settings on their devices. These are not issues caused by the app itself. Overall, I can’t imagine a more perfect app for kids..Version: 6.3.1
Great app, just a few stuff that i don’t like. This is a good app. Graphics are nice, smooth, and relaxing. I don’t ever have to worry if my child is watching something bad on this app. It is also very dependable if you want your kid to watch educational videos. Their content is also educational and silly. I have heard some laughter coming from my child because of “work it out wombats.” But the first thing i don’t like is pride month. My culture does not follow pride month, and there’s this one Arther video where his teacher marries a boy, which i didn’t know my child was watching until the end. I would like a update for removing some videos you don’t want your child to watch. And a search bar would be pretty nice. I have a big tv and on live tv i can put on PBS kids and hide the remote. We have been PBS kids supporters since 2020. Thank you for being FREE too..Version: 6.8.3
New App has issues with full screen video. Loved the old app.(Updated to 3 stars. If they can fix the full screen playback issue, will make 5 stars. Web version works great, app is not as good as the web. You can tap the video to play on the web, but app you have to hit the really small triangle on the bottom) The old app my kids have been using for years was great and easy to use. The new one functions like the website and is way worse than the old early 2025 and earlier version. This new one is hard to find shows, hard to pause and play videos. The button is so small at the bottom, and now you have to click a little x to exit. Old version felt like it was made for tablets and iPhones, but the new one feels like the website which is clunky even with a mouse. Please please please go back to the version before May 2025. I wish I had not auto updated. So sad. Great content bad App now..Version: 7.0.1
Please please please! We are a PBS home for sure, we love almost all of the shows for kids that are offered. All but one. I have no doubt that a certain character has popped into the heads of other parents watching this before I even name him. The one thing I wish this app could do is give me the option to remove Caillou from the lineup. Not only do I loathe that little monster from the depths of my being, it turns my three year old into a whining monster as well. We will be having a good day and when things turn, you can be sure to hear her singing "I'm Caillou, Caillou". I would pay good money for the option to obliterate Caillou while keeping the other shoes we know and love that don't affect my child's behavior in such a negative way. Please strongly consider adding this feature. For my sanity and the sanity of parents far and wide..Version: 3.3.1
I love it!Hi. Since I was 4 I watched PBS kids on my tv. I love all the shows and now I’m ten and I still watch it! When I found this app I was soo happy that I can watch my favorite shows on this app! I downloaded it and started watching. I love it but I have a few suggestions. 1. Can you combine the games app and the video app so you don’t have to get two apps for tablet or phone storage.? 2. Can you add ten episodes per show so there are more episodes to watch? 3. On the download thing once you download it can you save it until you watch it because I go on trips and I download stuff like an hour before we leave and when I get in the car it disappears so can you hold it like Disney +? Overall I love this app and look forward for more. Thank you and please read and respond to my message..Version: 6.4.1
Doink! PBS Kids!I was soooo mad when WordGirl stopped airing on our local PBS station—that was my favorite PBS Kids show! Other PBS stations in our area (the digital subchannels that air PBS Kids shows 24/7) still do air WordGirl, but it's on at 7:30 AM and I hate getting up early, even to watch my favorite show. I would end up dozing off in the middle of the show and missing the whole thing! And now the PBS Kids programming block ends earlier than it used to, except on digital subchannels that air PBS Kids shows 24/7. Luckily, though, I've got the PBS Kids Video app, so I can watch WordGirl whenever I want, although I wish there were more episodes available. I understand that you can only have so many episodes in the app at a time, but even little kids can get bored of the same few episodes over and over. Also, it would be nice if I had the option to "favorite" certain shows so that I could find them more easily, like in older versions of the app. It's also cool that this app comes with the PBS Kids sticker pack (by the way, thanks for adding a WordGirl sticker). And what if you could pick out a custom skin themed to your favorite PBS Kids show? I'll bet the video player would look totally awesome with a WordGirl background! My only real complaints with this app are: 1. My iPad is WiFi-only, so I can't use this app where I have no access to WiFi. I know that some shows have downloadable episodes that you can watch offline, but it would be nice if you could add downloadable episodes of WordGirl and Arthur. 2. I see that you are working on improving the captions for older episodes of Arthur, but some of them could still use some improvement. I'm not deaf but I like to read the captions, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would continue to fix them so that they appeared at the right time and matched what the characters were actually saying. 3. I wish there were a way to disable automatic downloads. It's really frustrating having to delete a bunch of unwanted videos. 4. There are several WordGirl episodes (namely "The Fill-In", "Tobey's Playground Calamity" and "Chuck and Brent Ride Again") that won't play for some strange reason. I really hope you fix it soon. Other than that, this app rocks!.Version: 7.0.8
Thank you for helping us out with our familyWe’ll get a new phone call on a new one for the first week and we’ll get back with us to make a payment on your account thank for all your input thank us and appreciate you doing great and your new plan will get us in our lives right away from our house to get your own stuff together for our own business you can do that with our new business business you need us all business business and you are so much business you are our own and your own company is our own right now you need us all to get your business and your own life business business you need us to do your business and your own right business business you can get our business.Version: 6.7.7
Word worldMy one year old daughter has previously starting saying mama and dada so I turned on this show for her and she loves it! Every day before her morning nap I turn on this show for her and she can not get enough of it. This show is improving her learning and as a mother of 2 I love using the PBS channel for my kids. Everything is kid friendly of course and it is fun to get your little ones learning faster. I am currently 9 months pregnant with another child right now and I love using this app to make my kids busy while I am working and preparing for the baby. PBS kids is a game changer! I hope you can learn from this message and get your little ones on this app too. (Don’t mind my grammar right now I did not have a lot of time to write this review).Version: 6.7.1
Good channel, app and brand, but it could use some improvementsHi, My name is Jovan Gradina, I am 10 years old, I don’t have my own Apple so I am using my dad’s. I REALLY am a big fan of PBS Kids shows (with some favorites including Arthur, Peg + Cat, and Hero Elementary, plus many others) but it could use some improvements, First, lets start with the app, #1, Why isn’t there an option to resume where you left off? #2 When I click on Ready Jet Go!, the theme song audio is a little low, even when I turn the volume up. Can you guys fix this? #3, How come Peep and the Big Wide World isn’t in the on demand section? Next, is some questions about the channel/block itself #1: Why were the E/I bugs removed #2: Why is the TV rating bug outside the 4:3 safe zone? #3 Is Esme and Roy coming to the block anytime soon? Overall I like PBS Kids and its app and channel but I hope you guys can answer my questions and take my suggestions into consideration, Bye! - Jovan EDIT: I have one more question about LIVE TV. Is PBS Kids going to air Nature Cat and Wild Kratts in 15 min slots on July 17 at 1:30 and 1:45AM? This is pretty confusing, PBS usually NEVER does that on the main and PBS Kids channel! Is this an error? My TV guides show the same thing!.Version: 5.1
It doesn’t have St. Louis in let’s go LunaIt’s good but the thing that I don’t like is that on let’s go Luna. It is in the United States but it doesn’t. It doesn’t have St. Louis. I just said doesn’t twice but I read a three out of five because I don’t like how let’s go. Luna won’t do St. Louis and St. Louis is like a pop the St. Louis Missouri so I just know if like it’s for like the show podcast like for the people that makes it but PBS Kids is with it so I don’t really like how that but other than that it’s not PG that’s not bad it’s notpeople, die and stuff and Sesame Street and all of that but my favorite is I mean my favorite three is so my first one is Lila in the loop definitely and then his work out wombats and then let’s go and then if mega builders Elmo and you know stuff and then it’s what’s it called the everything because I just had a class but yeah my fourth I guess is Elmo‘s way and then yeah so bye guys.Version: 6.8.3
Quality content and lots of it but I wish I could actually watch things in Spanish :(So I’m Latine and want my kids to grow up speaking Spanish so I watch a lot of cartoons in Spanish on Disney+ or Netflix. We still use the PBS Kids app a lot and even donate to PBS cause my kids love Daniel Tiger, Alma’s Way, Molly of Denali, Pinkalicious, Clifford, basically everything on PBS. But like, I can’t get the app to stream in Spanish most of the time? I pick the language but the audio won’t actually change. And even if it does work and I try to cast it to my Chromecast it just changes back to English and I can’t change the language anymore which is a huge disappointment. Would love for my kids to watch these shows in Spanish! Overall I love the content but the app does need some attention..Version: 6.3.1
PBS KIDSSS NOOO ❤️💔For pbs kids: Allow me to have a moment of speech for my childhood 🥹😔 (Yes i wrote this) The television wasn’t just noise; it was the sound of a my memories. In the moments of childhood, Curious George, Daniel Tiger, and Wild Kratts weren’t just characters on a screen—they were the kindhearted friends who helped me navigate a confusing world. There is an aching nostalgia in remembering watching all these shows as a kid. When the world felt overwhelming, Daniel Tiger’s gentle songs were the thing that kept me calm, teaching me that my big feelings were okay and that there was a rhyme for every fear. George, with his wide-eyed innocence and endless "trouble," taught me that curiosity wasn't something to be ashamed of, but a beautiful way to embrace the unknown. And when I felt small, the Kratt brothers took me by the hand and showed me the vastness of the wild, turning my living room into a savanna where every creature deserved protection and respect. I cherish these shows because they treated my heart with such immense care. They didn't just entertain; they protected the sweetness of my youth, providing a soft place to land and a spark of wonder that I still carry within me today. PBS kids please reply 😭 🥹.Version: 7.1.0
Why new stuff and get rid of old stuff?!!?!Ok it’s good I still watch it but I don’t like the new stuff and they got rid of some of my favorite stuff like Martha speaks one of my favorites and if the creators are reading this please put back Martha speaks that’s all I’m asking 🙏🙏🙏🥹🥹 thank you 😊 oh p.s whatever you do do not get rid of curious George odd squad wild kratts Mr Rodger’s naborhood and design squad and mystery league and cyber chase odd squad helped me with math skills curious George always made me laugh and design squad helped me find my creative side and mystery league made me laugh to and cyberchace helped me with my math and science skills oh and my mom and brother watch it too and I still watch it and I’m almost 11! But do not get rid of any of those but great idea thanks y’all for reading!!😉.Version: 7.0.11
We need more mature shows.I LOVE PBS KIDS, but can we please make more shows for all ages to enjoy, I’m 14 and I still love and watch shows like Arthur, Molly of Denali, old odd squad, wild kratts, nature cat, cyberspace, and the older shows, what I’m saying is the newer shows like Rosie’s rules, Alma’s way, and hero Elementary it isn’t as entertaining to me and my 8 year old little brother if you guys could make a new show kinda like Arthur where there is more mature problems or at least play more Arthur and some of the older shows because I rarely even see them playing live, no hate I love pbs kids I just wish it hade more shows for everyone to enjoy, I hope my review helps and I’m prying pbs kids doesn’t get cancelled ♥️.Version: 7.0.2
Won’t stay on the show I select, it just moves to another oneBefore your most recent update, I didn’t have this issue. I could go to Wild Kratts for example and when I tapped the arrow, it would just go to the next Wild Kratts video. Now that I updated the app, when I tap the arrow, it goes to a different show. And when I select a show, it doesn’t stay selected. It’s frustrating for me to have to pause at just the right moment and select the show I want to watch for every single episode of it. I don’t like this intertwining of the shows with the arrow and the show that I want to watch not staying selected. If I wanted that, I would just go to the live TV and I don’t. And I can’t go back now with the update. Other than this issue, it’s a good app..Version: 6.0.2
Hiii I love Leo from let’s go Luna (sorry)Hello I’m one of your fellow viewers and I know I’m 11 but one of my favorite shows on your channel is LETS GO LUNA!!!!!!!!!! (I can get a bit crazy about it.) and who’s my favorite character? LEO!!!!!!!!!!! He’s SOOOOO good and is really the best wombat ever do NOT cancel the show he is in and don’t forget to add podcasts to let’s go Luna and keep adding episodes to the show and also there’s Let’s Go Luna fan art out there but they can be really weird sometimes (for an example: Honey gathering hands with hamster versions of other let’s go Luna characters, pictures of a Leo guy with a red bow tie, etc.) those people go a bit far with things. “Hup hup hup hup hup hup hup” - the acronauts, really inspirational quote..Version: 6.7.4
Keep kids in mindOur family has used PBS Kids for nearly a decade now. We use it across all our devices. The most recent update, though I really hope they fix this issue, has it autoplay shows as you search for episodes. This is incredibly stressful and causes a huge time waste and disregulation in our household. I’m practicing muting the device before opening the app, because it’s so noisy and distracting while my kiddos look for the shows they want to watch. So many kids with diverse sensory needs use PBS Kids, I hope they can recognize why this would be an issue for us and update it with an option to turn off this feature in the settings..Version: 7.0.3
I have some questions.Number 1. When I want to watch odd squad or something like that and I want to watch my favorite episode it ALWAYS starts in the wrong part of the episode like for example when I want to watch something it will start in the middle, Why? Number 2. What if I had a friend and they speak Chinese, how would I be able to Change the language in PBS kids? Number 3. I would like to have a quick way to get to PBS games. If you would take some of my suggestions it would be great to see at least one of my ideas in the PBS video app so if you agree with one of my ideas please respond to my review. Have a nice day!.Version: 6.2.1
Make it a little more toddler friendlyThe previous version of the app had all the shows on the right hand side. So when my child was done watching one show, they can select another on the right and switch between shows. Right now once you select a show, you get options of selecting episodes but you can to click the back arrow to go back to the main screen to select another show. Also, once full screen there’s no easy way for the toddler or anyone to make the viewing window smaller. You have to click back to change to the screen for another episode. I’ll tell you why I hate Daniel Tiger’s NeighborhoodWhen I first got PBS Kids I just adored Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and It became my number one favorite show when I got older, it was annoying like I hate those shows when the characters act like they don’t know what they’re talking about. Those shows you guys know those shows when the characters ask you questions like where is the green block, where is the bird? That is like the stupidist thing that a show what do anyways, my favorite character,in the show is Katrina and Jody the reason I gave it five stars it’s a great show for little kids. It’s very educational really good life lessons..Version: 6.8.6
Wish we could disable Live TVWe LOVE the PBS Kids app. I love the programming available and my kids love watching and learning from the shows. I wish the app had an option to disable Live TV so that on demand streaming from the library was the only option available. We loved the app before our oldest found the Live TV option, but now we’re having issues with being able to stop watching bc he can’t pause. We know many of the Live episodes are available on demand as well, but our child is Neurodivergent and struggles with extreme anxiety. Having the option to turn off Live TV would be an awesome option for us!.Version: 6.7.8
PBS Kids1Hey, it’s me one of the best kingdom voices of all time. Guess what I’ve been watching this video and game that is called PBS Kids. It has two versions once the games and the other one is the videos. Also, you might play it or watch it. Also there might be different shows, I meant new shows and maybe new episodes like look out wombats and rozy is rules and more would of the week and PBS Kids lax. If you see the wax ignore it I meant rocks Annie # you might see the same thing but it’s might be behind the scenes. Why do you and it and add title? What do you like to do on PBS Kids? This is the question. I’ll try to answer on PBS Kids 2.Version: 6.8.1
I love this appEven tho this isn’t my Apple acc it’s my dad’s so I’ve always loved PBS Kids since I was younger and it’s what I grew up with. It’s a great app but sometimes crashes maybe because my internet but even if it was the app’s lag I’d still rate it 5 stars. Not only did I use it when I was younger but I still sometimes go on here to watch, and it’s great because I have younger cousins that I babysit sometimes and there 2 and 4 years old and I showed the older one this app and he loves watching all the videos and sometimes when he comes over I help him get into the app and watch some videos with him sure I am getting older but it brings back memories:).Version: 5.1.4
Jump into PBS KidsPBS Kids makes people happy and kids watch shows adults can watch it with them. It makes me happy every time I watch out wombats. You should make more episodes about that and make it like a little bit more like eight-year-old stuff really change a little bit but like some kids and like werewolves I like werewolves input the giant teddy bear, and the wombats like make more stuff and make odd squad fun because I don’t like odd squad just saying just saying not trying to be rude. That’s why I gave you five stars for kids keep going on the journey of kids stuff. Keep making more stuff on PBS Kids.Version: 6.8.3

Really good, but okayThis is a great app for some kids, but I definitely don’t recommend it for anyone older than 10 or 12. I can say this from experience. This app is a great tool for early leaning, fun, movies, etc. The PBS Kids video app is an awesome learning tool for many kids out there. The only issue that I have had with it is that it only works really good on certain devices and IOS types. It can be either slow, glitchy, or it could have really bad graphics. To sum up, this app is great depending on the device and IOS versions, otherwise it is an amazing tool for your kids and friends too. ‘Love the PBS Kids app’😍😍😍👍🏻.Version: 6.4.1
App stop workingI’ve been using this app for over a year. And every Saturday morning me and my little one wakes up and watch GO LUNA, Wild Krats, Molly and now Eleanor. But last night and this morning I keep getting an error message that I can only view in the UNITED STATES... clearly I’m in the US we live in DC. I emailed the address that was given to me in the message and the problem still hasn’t been fixed. The link in the email is only works for PBS not PBS KIDS. so I’ll just delete the app off all my devices and won’t use it anymore. Yes this makes me sad and I feel like I’m letting my child down but it’s above me now..Version: 5.1.4
New Episodes? This is a wonderful app. It can get glitchy at times but usually is resolved with an appletv restart. My only complaint is the rotation of available full episodes. Maybe there are contractual conflicts or something else but it seems like even when new episodes are rotated on, they are the same episodes that were just rotated out. If your kiddo only watches 2 or 3 shows this gets old pretty quickly. We are a curious George house and the howlin Hal episode has been playing for years. When my kiddos have screen time options I want them to want Pbs kids, but that is getting less and less likely because the same episodes of their favorite shows have been in heavy rotation for over a year and sometimes two..Version: 5.0

Thank youHi, I am editing my entire review just to say thank you thank you for adding audio descriptions for those who are blind or visually. Impaired question though are you guys going to add audio descriptions to all the videos on the PBS Kids app? If so, would really appreciate it. Oh, and do you think if possible you guys can add the 2000s shows to the PBS Kids app the live TV button can still work as normal but when you’re browsing I would love to see some of the old PBS kid shows I already see Mr. Rogers neighborhood but do you guys think you can add more I miss those shows after all, it was my childhood.Version: 6.5
This app is amazing but their somethings that need to be worked onSo like one when I’m trying to watch a show and then I want to go to a different show it shows me a little bit of the previous show and then moves on no big problems just like this to be fixed. And also when I’m trying to squirrel down and I’m trying to watch a show at the same time it will just kind of bring me to the school screen instead of leaving me there no big problems again just I want that to be changed. Overall this app is amazing and I really hope you make more PDFs apps fan of PBS forever..Version: 3.7.4
We love pbs kidsThis has been our kid’s go-to app for a few years, staring at 3yo. I love that it’s free and that there are no ads (which the kid also loves). It’s such a relief that there’s nothing violent and not much of the typical weird romantic stuff you find on Disney, and the racial and ethnic representation is great. It would be great if we could filter by age or remove some shows as options so that the littles can’t choose the bigger kid shows (Odd Squad, Arthur, Word Girl, Cyberchase)— but we’ve navigated it fine and it’s been great that our kid has been able to find age appropriate shows as she grows. Thank you, pbs kids!.Version: 6.5
Why can’t we disable auto play next episode?!This is PBS, your business model is not supposed to rely on keeping kids glued to the TV! Why auto play AND no way to disable it? It makes it virtually impossible to limit screen time! Without auto play, once an episode is done, the TV sits dormant. If another episode begins on its own, the child watching becomes immediately invested in it. Ever try and drag a three-year-old away from something they absolutely want to do? It doesn’t matter if it’s watch a TV show or play with a toy; once they’re focused, they’re focused. PLEASE!.Version: 6.0.5
