Excellent content, but some access issuesI have enjoyed print subscription for a few years, but I have had some difficulty with accessing the online Week. It does not say anywhere whether print includes online or not. The online site can’t give any details. Subscription offers also do not clarify this. Wonder why they can’t clarify this simple thing. Lately I have accessed the online magazine, though occasionally access log-in has been complicated and frustrating. As far as magazine’s content is concerned it is excellent. We look forward to every issue and do read it regularly. One other problem of note is that there are usually some delays in receiving the print issues. I think it is probably a fault of the magazine itself since I don’t have similar problem with other subscriptions. Maybe the Postal Service is partly to blame. That has been a little sore point of this subscription..Version: 6.5.5

This is a great magazine that everyone should know aboutI have become such a huge fan of The Week magazine! In it you get news and opinion from around the world, from different writers and viewpoints and political perspectives. Learn the latest about music, things to stream on television, movies, art, theater and much more. I’ve learned about great new books and places to go on vacation, areas to look at for future travel and even potential places to live and retire. There is so much here weak in and week out. I love my subscriptions to the New Yorker and the New York Times and other magazines, but it’s to The Week I turn the most. Give The Week a try! You won’t be disappointed..Version: 6.3.7

Great news source, great appI’ve been reading The Week for over 20 years now, first in print, and now online and print. The app is great and gives me everything the print issue does and more. I’m very happy I got the print plus digital subscription. I often switch between the two, depending on my mood. At heart, I’m a traditionalist and prefer print/paper. But The Week’s app is very well done and they make it easy and appealing to read their stuff online. I especially like the daily digests, which I read each morning to keep up with what’s going on in the world..Version: 6.3.9

Fair and BalancedThese days, when one of our national political parties brands any news it doesn’t like as “fake“, it is enlightening to see a magazine publish excerpts from news articles and opinion pieces from across the country taking into account myriad viewpoints. I may not agree with the editorial content of the National Review or the Wall Street Journal, but it’s at least nice to know what they’re saying and why. The Week is my irreplaceable “go to” source to catch up on the weekly news..Version: 6.3.9

The Week is great! The app is less so…This is not a critique on the magazine at all. I love the magazine and was thrilled when I saw there was a mobile option. The problem, however, is that app is not the most user friendly. The app is really glitchy and crashes often. The app also doesn’t refresh by itself, so you have to constantly quit out of the app to get new daily articles. Finally, there are just a few other small glitches, like being unable to scroll sometimes, that get me a tad frustrated. I’d suggest investing a little bit into some UX/UI..Version: 6.3.0

Love The Week, but disappointedI look forward every week to the arrival of The Week. I find articles informative, interesting and concise. I have subscribed for many years. I am really disappointed in how very very expensive a subscription has become. My husband and I use to gift subscriptions to family and friends, but WAY out price range now. Having second thoughts about our yearly subscription too.Version: 6.2.2

Best magazine ever! This is the only news magazine, or magazine of any kind, I make the time to read from cover to cover. It’s interesting to read what columnists over the world are writing about. I especially like the mostly non-partisan slant The Week attempts, even though our president probably considers it Fake News as well. I can’t imagine not being a subscriber and I try to gift the free subscription to a different person every year - they all love reading it! Great job!.Version: 6.2.0

An Excellent Magazine! In my hands, or online, The Week Magazine gives a great look at both sides of major issues. Information from around the world provides a rare insight to what people from other countries see and feel about major topics that we all need to deal with. There’s also always some good laughs in special sections. For sure, one of my most favorite magazines, and websites, on the market!.Version: 6.2.2

The WeekReally enjoy being able to get the latest issue no matter where I am. I like the print version too but the App really helps in many ways when I don't want to carry the extra weight. I really like the broad spectrum international focus. It is like the biological abstracts I use that allows a brief update and the info I need to go into detail on a topic if I would like too..Version: 6.2.2

Actual Real & Balanced CoverageI’ve been getting The Week for about 15 years. It’s a great supplement to news you get from other sources. Why? They have no sponsors to cow-tow to and they cover every issue using reportage from a full range of publications—from far left to far right. They cover both national and international news in a pithy yet complete way, making it an easy magazine to get through quickly and one that leaves you in the know. The digital version also keeps you up to date daily with its 10 Things To Know Today feature sent by email. Also—their editorials are all thought-provoking. It's a must read for me every week!.Version: 6.4.0

Great Magazine; problematic appEver since The Week changed developers the app has been troublesome. Swiping from page to page is a problem, the font is either tiny or enormous with no way to adjust to individual preferences. Navigating through the magazine used to be easy but not anymore since the only way is to swipe through screen after screen. Such a shame because it’s a wonderful magazine ruined by a cumbersome reading experience and unresponsive customer service..Version: 6.5.5

Recent update messed up the appThe recent update to the app has messed up the font size. It is not stable, and changes from page to page. Former app allowed one to select font size and keep the same through the read. The Week content is great, app needs work..Version: 6.3.6

Unbalanced DigestsI’ve been searching for media outlets that digest unbiased general news coverage so I can stay up to date quickly without being subjected to indoctrination from any specific party. The Week is not that. While The Week does cover news from a variety of sources and compiles them in short, easy-access format (exactly what I want), the summaries they feature lean too far to the left. I will have to keep looking for an unbiased news source..Version: 6.3.9

A satisfying voiceWe have subscribed to The Week since, I believe, shortly after it began publication. It seems to present both sides of the story, with articles and opinions sharing our admittedly leftist views and also those from the other side. It probably is a magazine more attuned to us liberals, but consider it a counterbalance to the Fox Newsers, who probably don’t read much anyway..Version: 6.2.1

Editors edit thyselfI also read Time magazine each week. The stories are too long and are politically one-sided. I became so disenchanted that I cancelled my subscription, but they still send the the electronic edition each week (probably to satisfy their advertisers.) I like The Week for its conciseness and presenting all sides of an issue..Version: 6.2.2

Where are the 10 things I need to know?Every change this app/site makes is terrible. It used to be straightforward now too much opinion and analysis from the staff. There are a million places to get that and few to just get news. I also hate the new way the magazine displays in app. There is always an annoying icon in the corner. I wish they would return to their roots..Version: 6.5.5

DigitalI always enjoyed The Week but read the digital issues since I travel alot. Suddenly, I could no longer get the digital issues ....I tried to get help via customer support but there was no response.....so I let my subscription expire..Version: 6.2.2

10 Things page display errorOn iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 16.1 The last two lines on the daily 10 Things news list are blocked by a bottom-of-page ad border (or something). To get the page to fully display, must rotate display to landscape, scroll to the bottom (still blocked here), then re-rotate to portrait and re-scroll to bottom of page..Version: 6.3.9

To the pointI don’t have time to read long articles, even though they are likely well written. The Week does the heavy lifting and distills the salient points from several and opposing perspectives. We live in an ambiguous world. The Week doesn’t change that, but helps to fill in some missing pieces..Version: 6.2.0

Great content, crappy appI love the pro/con views provided on the issues. Unfortunately, the app decides after about the 3 or 4th time to not download anymore. I have to delete and reinstall to get it to work. A bit of a pain in the rear. The app is constantly breaking down..Version: 6.3.9

More Datelines, clearer navigation neededWhile the content is good, the navigation needs attention. It’s never clear where you are when you click on an article to read it: You could be in the current issue or in a past issue - there are no datelines on anything to tell you when the content on your screen was written or in which issue it was published. It’s also difficult to figure out the navigation on the app since there, well, isn’t any. Click on an article an boop! There you are, great, but no indication how to get back nor forward. Really a disappointingly not-well-thought out app from an otherwise intelligent publication..Version: 6.4.0

Everything in one magazineI enjoy the tremendous variety of articles in each and every issue. With this amazing content THE WEEK is not a quick read but rather a compilation of news presented in a compelling and provocative way..Version: 6.2.2

Great perspectivesI’ve read the WEEK since its inception. For a person with a busy career it give me a glimpse into all the pressing issues and the different views. I love the addition of TV, Move, Tech and many other sections. I also like the daily topics. Keep it up!.Version: 6.5.1

Just the correct amount. The Week has the perfect quantity of information to keep you well informed on a wide variety of issues. Its coverage is balanced and concise. You are encouraged to draw your own conclusions. And it does this efficiently..Version: 6.5.5

Sudoku?I always read a soft-copy of The Week. I particularly enjoy Mr. Falk’s editorials. If you could figure out how to automate Sudoku and the crossword puzzle via an app, or coordinating with some other app vendors, I would gladly give you 5 stars and save the world of one more thrown-away mag every week. And maybe you give me a discount as well?.Version: 6.2.2

The weekThe is a fantastic publication - but the app itself has been driving me crazy for 5 weeks - nothing but problems. However I keep enduring as I like the magazine.Version: 4.0

The Week MagazineConstant problems when trying to subscribe. It is not a user friendly process- especially for us ancient, technologically impaired seniors. The magazine itself is great. Unreliable download. App causes constant problems. I’ll get the hard copy next time I renew..Version: 6.5.1

The Week = The BestIf I could only afford one "news" app --- (I would cancel The Times, The Guardian, even The Telegraph) --- & this is the ONE I would buy. Brilliant journalism..Version: 1.4.2

Love this appI can finally access the magazine when it comes out instead of waiting 2 weeks for it to get on my local newsstands (Canada). I love the free trial issues, night reading function, navigation. Only wish I could archive issues as I'm done instead of keeping the latest 4..Version: 1.0.1
