Great AppI'm interested in seeing a few improvements to this app if possible. 1)A clearer way to write triplets based on the duration you initially want. So you want a triplet quarter note in the duration of a half note then it would allow you to write that. Current version isn't quite there for the more complex rhythms. 2) a way to accelerate and decelerate to a new tempo would be useful. 3)Being able to write a sudden tempo change half way through the excerpt. 4)change what that speed is based on. Instead of always having a quarter note be the measure it would be nice to be able to use in 8th or 16th. 5)Having the pitch of the beat change would help when trying to keep in a key. Instead of a drone it would be a pitched beat. 6) polyrhythm writing by adding another line that is completely independent from the first. This would help percussionists with more complex works. That's a just a few things I think would help this app. It's useful as is but it could be a lot better. Still 5 stars..YAY HBOVersion: 2.1.2

Great idea, horrible functionality.This app was a great idea. It looks good, the concept is there and the rhythm plays back very accurately (once you finally get it entered correctly). That said, the interface is atrocious. Horribly clunky, glitchy, and hardly user friendly at all. The cursor doesn't work in the editor. The settings don't save after changing them. The memory tool is clever, but overall confusing and not simple enough to use. This app is CERTAINLY not worth the money I paid for it. It should be free. I would be happy to have spent the money I did if the app were updated and overhauled to make it smooth and efficient to use. I give it a C-..RhythmatorVersion: 2.1.2

HonestlyTo be honest it did exactly what it advertised, but I was looking for something on how to count the beats (as in 1 e + a), not to play them, and I just wasted three dollars and 3 minutes of my life. It might not seem like a lot, but I’m in math class right now and I should definitely have been paying attention. I give it a 3/5 because this should not have cost three dollars, but it will be useful in the future in case I ever need to hear how a rhythm goes (which will be once in a blue moon)..Lennie2038Version: 2.1.2

Functionality of this appThis app works as an answer key to basically any rhythm in any time signature you need help with and is missing basically nothing (has all options for time signature, tuplets, and articulation styles including ties). Amazing!!This app is amazing and I love it, but I noticed one mistake. A whole rest is supposed to be under the line and a half rest is on top. A great, simple appI find this app to be a really useful tool when transcribing. It includes loads of different rhythms, rests and tuplets, and you can change tempo and time signatures. It's dead simple to use - just insert the rhythm like a calculator. I sometimes find that the screen showing the rhythms doesn't show enough of the entered rhythm, but you can scroll along as the rhythm plays. Some of the beams of the rhythms connect together in an awkward or incorrect way. Anyways, this a great app - and it's free!.Telepicker96Version: 1.1

Rest ReversalI really like this app so far, I was looking for a tool to help with rhythms since I'm a few years out of practice from playing my instrument and for the most part this app fits the bill. The reason I gave it two stars is that the half and whole note rests are reversed. I was able to figure this out and move on, but I've read music for 15 years. For someone who is just learning music and looking for help those rests are hard to tell apart and this app would be teaching them the wrong thing. Don’t waste your moneyThe interface is very buggy. If you make a mistake and want to edit or add a note, you cannot. According to their tutorial, you just need to tap and hold the cursor bar and slide it to where you want to edit, however this feature is not working. Whenever I try to move the cursor bar it automatically moves to the beginning of the composition. I can’t even move it back to continue putting in notes from where I left off. Basically if you make a mistake, you have to restart the whole composition from scratch. This is a HUGE issue that should never exist in an app that I have to pay for. UmmThis app is hard to figure out. I’m having a very difficult time learning how to simply just put in the rhythm that I want to hear. I have even gone as far as to try looking up tutorials online and even they are not working. Shows promiseThis app looked great, so I bought it with the intent of helping me out with some complex tuplet rhythms. It was totally unable to play back the rhythms in time, and I was unsure if the app was even registering the rhythm I had entered. It showed the tuplet notation, but it didn't go over all of the notes in the tuplet, making it unclear if the app was actually taking the rhythm that I put in correctly.
