Can’t print boarding pass on APPI tried every which way I could being able to add my boarding, pass to my phone, and there was no way of getting it done. When I got to the Pittsburgh airport, everybody in line had paper boarding passes printed as well as I did. Nobody could hardly do it except three other people out of over 100 people that were on that flight. On returning when I tried to add it again to my phone from the app, my name, and the checkmark next to it was grayed out and could not tap it and then it would add it to my phone the same way it happened when I tried to do it on the beginning of the trip. Embarrassingly I had to ask the hotel I was staying at The. Please print my boarding pass for me so I could leave. Flight Friday morning, May 17I missed my flight Friday, May 17 at 8 AM due to an oversight on my part of setting my alarm accidentally an hour later than I should have. Gate closed at 7:45 and I got there at 7:46. I was impressed that Carla at the gate called my number to see if I was coming. I would have made it but got a few red lights on the way and TSA takes its toll on timing. I was grateful for the help Eduardo gave me as it was a miracle to make the next 10 AM flight and not have to cost me much money being a senior citizen, widow budget Queen! LOL. He went the 2nd mile for me and was very empathetic, sympathetic, and understanding. If not for him that miracle would not have happened. I loved his attitude of “let’s see what we can do”, that gave me hope. I was never so grateful that I made that second flight! I was grateful for Trina‘s smile and desire to help and also Ronnie the flight attendant, who was extremely helpful in getting my backpack above in the luggage holder. I love Allegiant air and I’m so grateful for the reasonable pricing so I may visit grandchildren on birthdays and special occasions more often!!! Thank you again! Solid app so far!This is my first time flying Allegiant and so far I’m really impressed. Currently I’m waiting for my flight to board, but the check-in process was really easy. In fact, the only line I had to wait in was the one at security. I checked in and dropped my bag off by myself. Most of the negative reviews I’ve read here had more to do with the airline than the app. And if those people took the time to read their policies BEFORE they made it to the airport to check-in they probably would have seen that they charge for every little thing, but my flight to Asheville was $38!!!! How can you beat that? And the two employees I’ve encountered so far were very friendly. So give the airline a chance, just do your homework beforehand. As for the app, it works quite well. I would however recommend two improvements. One, have the ability to add your boarding pass to Apple Passbook. (That should absolutely be a function these days) Two, I don’t see where it shows you which gate your plane is boarding through. That would be extremely helpful as well. The flights are great, the app is tragic.In fairness to this company every aspect of the actual flight process and crew has always been good. Sure there are changes and delays but that’s pretty much inevitable so I don’t thing anything of it or count it against them. So as a company to fly with truly, five stars. This app on the other hand…… Useless. Seriously I don’t feel like I’m asking for a lot here, but when delays in departure times occur, or a gate is changed, UPDATE THE APP!!! Come on people this should be your first course of action. Instead thanks to this useless bit of software if anything gets switched up at any point, you had best be paying attention because they are not going to notify you or even update the app in any way to reflect these changes. Flights are great! App does not workI’ve been flying Allegiant Airlines for about 3 years now. I fly about 3-5 round trips a year. No problems with flights other than a few weather related cancellations. The rating would be 5 stars if not for issues with the app. My problem is with the Allegiant App. It will not let me log in to my account. I have no trouble logging in on a computer or through the browser on my iPad. I’ve purchased my flights from both. But to log into my account on the iPhone app I keep getting a warning: “The provided authentication was invalid.” I’ve tried resetting my password from the computer and from my phone. First time flyersI left Michigan to go to Florida to visit family. Just myself and my daughters went. It was a first time for all of us! Staff were amazing. They were awesome with the kids. My only complaint is leaving Punta gorda! It took over an hour to board and the kids were antsy. They missed home and the dogs! So they were ready. I wish there was a quicker way to go from one flight unloading to the next boarding. When we arrived in Punta gorda we unloaded on the back of the plane while others got off in the front! Which was awesome! So I’m wondering why they didn’t do that for the flight unloading before we departed. Other then that this will be our go to! This is an app rating site not service or priceNot sure why almost all the 1 star reviews don’t regard the app but it’s ok, no bugs but a little bit limited in the search A) not being able to use airport codes instead it’s just the letters so San Diego you have to scroll to the bottom but can’t on the app so you have to type it out B) can’t search by destination, it assumes you know where you are starting from but as a company that’s all about the destination you should be able to search easier what option are to fly into there not just by searching flying out. Good app!Seems most of these reviews are about the airline and not the app. The app works well for the entire process, from searching and purchasing the flight to checking in the day before and using your boarding pass through the app (instead of having to use a paper pass). As far as the airline, I mean, you get what you pay for. The flights are cheap and everything is extra, but we personally have never had any issues. Great! But where’s my gate?This app and allegiant have been pretty convenient for me so far, and booking and everything else has been a breeze. But a while back when i first used allegiant, i couldn’t find my gate, I thought it was just me or the information just being hard to find, but recently I had a friend fly with allegiant and they had to ask someone where their gate was since the information was not presented in the app. Even the attendant helping my friend said that they (as in the attendants) put in the gate number but the app doesn’t show/update it. Boarding pass on phone!I am also having a hard time getting my return boarding pass on my phone app. I had no problem getting it for the flight out. I’m new at this and it’s frustrating. It takes me to the app to check-in but when I go to enter my information it says that it no longer exist. I have an e-mail from Allegiant saying it’s time to check-in and it had my information with a couple options to get my boarding pass but again when I try, it’s not allowing me to do it on my phone. Don’t book car through this appDO NOT book a rental car reservation through this app. It is nearly impossible to modify a reservation. I called Enterprise and they told me I had to make reservation changes through Alligiant. I went to the Alligiant app (could not find a phone number for Alligiant) and the app told me there was no reservation on file, even though my itinerary showed a confirmation number… a thorough run around. App worked well-but system is flawed IMOThe app worked really well....but I’m not sure how they book people’s seats? I’m assuming just randomly filling them? You would think “they” would know passengers ages & who they are travelling with as per bookings to book seats! We had a toddler (and 2 parents) and their policy is car seats go in the window seats and also won’t be separated from parents. “They” had the toddler in an aisle seat with one parent and the other parent elsewhere. I had to wait on hold for 73mins while calling long-distance just so they could correct their seating arrangements. I fly frequently and have always selected my own seats from the available seats at check in (online and in person),so I don’t know why Allegiant selects the for you (if you haven’t paid extra)..Courtgirl15Version: 5.14.1

Newest updateI just downloaded this app because my wife’s app wasn’t working and we needed to check in to our flight. Once downloaded, I go to check in for our flights and it said “unable to check in, try again later. After coming back and trying several times over a few hours, I go online to the website and was able to check in, no problem. The website said, if you have the app, your boarding passes will be on there digitally. Since I was already on the website, I decided I better print the boarding passes just in case. I go back to the app, it now shows that everyone in my party is checked in but when I click the boarding pass button, it says the boarding pass was unable to download. Had the same issue with the return flight. Since I was unable to print the paper boarding pass on vacation, we let the person at the Allegiant front desk know the problems we were having and she printed the boarding pass (once we proved to her we had the app and was having issues). We have flown Allegiant for years. Got the credit card for discounts on flights and car rentals. We used the app every single time with no issues until this update. We saw almost everyone with their boarding passes working on their phones with no issues. The lady at the check in counter said to delete the app and reinstall. We had already done that. Then she said since one person in our party was a minor, that could be the issue. That makes no sense because he has flown multiple times with no issues using the app with his boarding pass on there. Decent Company But…If looking for my review of the app, go to second paragraph. So far I’ve had a pretty good experience with Allegiant. They fly a perfect route for me to fit my needs, and for a fraction of what it would cost at a major airline. My only issue is the seats. I know that it’s a budget airline, but if you’re tall and have long legs, you’re almost forced to get an exit row or a seat with extra leg room, all of which cost extra money. I was challenging myself to get the cheapest round trip I could, and the total came out to $180 with a middle seat in the back coating $0. I suppose there’s a reason for that, but they should really update their interior to allow for larger, longer people to be comfortable. If I had shorter legs, I’d pick rear seats all the time. Onto the app: If you use a VPN, you will not be able to access this app, so turn that off. The app itself could be programmed much better. It’s not necessarily hard to use, but it’s very buggy and slow. Half the time it doesn’t allow you to check in, which forces you to have to either do it at the airport or to do it on a computer. Sometimes when I try to book a flight, it shows that the specific route isn’t available when I know for a fact it is. Sometimes it logs me out randomly which is a pain in any circumstance as it’s meant to make things more convenient, not more complicated. Customer service was rudeI fly Allegiant a lot but I have never been as disappointed in the customer service like I was today. I was flying home from Las Vegas McCarran airport and went to check a bag at the outside kiosk. This was at 4:30 am and there ones no one around. When I say no one was around I mean there was literally no one else around the kiosk no cars or people. Instead of following the barrier line that went back and forth I walked straight to the kiosk. Jinnel (that’s what he said his name was) greeted me very poorly. He scolded me for a min for not following the barriers and asked me to go follow them. There was no one else around. After I started to go around and follow the barriers Jinnel says never mind and let’s me come back. I came up with my bag and was getting my digital ticket pulled up and he snapped and said “put your bag on the scale”. It was not a easy going tone it was annoyed and frustrated tone. The bag was over 40 pounds sitting at 48 and Jinnel tells me I will be charged 50 for it being overweight or I can take stuff out. I explain to him I didn’t know that because on the way to Las Vegas the other airport didn’t say anything to me about the weight. This is when Steve steps in and in a mocking tone “well then let’s just charge you twice because you didn’t pay for the overage on the way here”. I was very put off by this and decided to exit the line still being the only person around. I walked into the inside kiosk and the attendants were very nice and didn’t say anything about the weight. Be careful when the attendants are Steve and Jinnel at the Las Vegas airport. They are very rude and give poor customer service..ZZindel2Version: 5.23.3

App Glitch Nickel & Dimes YouFirst off this is NOT like a regular airline, they do not allow carry on bags unless you pay a separate fee so buyer beware, because the app doesn’t allow you to add the bag despite what it says. It’s misleading to say the least, a terrible user experience at best. Then I’m reading about how I need to pay extra for a carry on bag h less it’s food or a purse 6 hours before my flight, I try again to use the app to purchase the carry on bag for $35, but you can’t do that after you’ve clicked Checked In on the app. So they email you to check in, then the app provides a Terrible user experience from start to finish. Zero indication that you need to actually to pay a separate fee for carry on luggage. Did anyone at all evaluate or UAT this experience? Clearly not. A flight that should have cost $200 instead cost $800 because I had to update the day and pay for seats and bags then the App wouldn’t allow adding the carry on, it only added for the return trip. Needs a lot more workI don’t often write reviews but I feel compelled to throw this out there. This app needs a lot of work to make it work as it should or get rid of it. The iOS app needs to allow a fully functional mobile experience that you get from the web app. If Allegiant would focus on the function of mobile airline ticket management and less on “up-selling” it might actually work properly. Anything you need to do redirects you to the web anyway so why the phone app?!? The app won’t sign you in properly so it redirects you to the web, then once you finally get signed in, you can manage your account. This makes it difficult to check in on the mobile app so you end up on the web interface which then will allow you to download the e-ticket in the mobile app. If you would actually test and use the app like a traveler you would see that the “flow” is bad. I don’t know who writes your app but hire better programmers who know how to test before publishing it to the masses. Horrible serviceMy wife and I are not regular flyers. In total we have flown maybe 4 times combined. Their website and app did not have easily accessible information on what to do with pets. We had seen people take small dogs on the plane and assumed that they were considered personal items. We called and waited for over an hour with no avail to talk to someone. Their voice machine had NO indication of where to go to find information on animals, and their website and app did not have easily accessible information on it either. When we got to the airport, the dog was in her case, we thought the front desk lady had seen it, I took her out of her case to walk through security, put her back in and we got on the plane. After we were seated, and about to take off, the stopped the flight, forced me off the plane and I had to pay 100 dollars BOTH WAYS, for a fee we didn’t realize existed. We looked for over 30 minutes on their site and it had no indication of their policies on animals. Again, we are not experienced flyers and the treatment we received from Allegiant was abhorrent. I called again waiting over an Hour and 5 minutes without anyone answering. I the. Facebooked messaged them and that was zero help. We would have been loyal customers seeing how my wife’s family is from AZ, but I don’t see ya continuing a relationship with them as is. Definitely not worth it to go through what we did. Rude checkin girlI have been flying Allegiant for 13 years. This is back and forth from Florida to Harrisburg since 2012. I had a purse that hangs around my neck the same purse for 13 years and I have never had a checkin tell me I had to put the small purse in my backpack which was already full. I use a wheelchair to and from the gate. I have a bad back bad knees and PMR which is a disease of the soft tissue in all of the body making it difficult to move around. I was told very rudely that I could pay $75 or find a way to put it in my personal item. I was not told in a kind manner by a rude sarcastic woman I also have sleep Apnea so I carry my machine in a bag with a few other things. I was told I could not put in the apnea bag because that is strictly for electronics. Have the ruled changed in 13 years because I have never had such nasty people on Allegiant before. I fly to many places and was always loyal to Allegiant if they had a flight going my way. I love the staff of every trip and have had nothing but friendly courteous people to deal with. My flight from Harrisburg to Sarasota was the exception. And the only time I was treated this way. I need to know why one person in all those years of using your service required this. Covient boarding pass but app not flexibleIt's very convenient to use their boarding pass on the app. The prices can't beat. However, it would be nice if the app would let you have the option to choose the destination airport first. For example if I wanted to fly to Tampa FL (just an example), you have to pick your starting airport first and this limits the possibilities dates, locations etc... I have to try all the airports in 100 mile radius to find a flight to get me to Tampa in ideal dates and times. Takes a ton of time to search, they really could make it easier on the customer by letting you set the destination and seeing if an airport anywhere near you would support your travel plans. I'd be willing to drive 2-3hours somewhere if it gets me the perfect flight dates and times... I like a little whimsy and trying to see if it would be possible to take a long weekend trip somewhere different is near impossible with this app and website..QstyikVersion: 5.12.0

Allegiant is great, but the app is a complete nightmareYou guys REALLY need a complete overhaul on your app. Just trying to check in and download boarding passes will toss you back and forth between the app and the website like 7 times. And that would be tolerable if it actually took you to the proper page/screen. It doesn’t make sense that viewing your digital boarding pass requires you have to tap a link to download the app… WHEN YOU JUST USED THE APP TO CHECK IN. Then once you open the app again via the App Store, you’re right back on the home screen… trying to figure out what to tap next… TO VIEW YOUR BOARDING PASS. It’s madness for me, and I’m very comfortable with technology. But when I’m trying to coach my parents through the process over FaceTime so they can get on their flight to come visit me, the obstacles in this app are unacceptable. DO NOT BOTHER! Worst app I’ve ever used!!!!!!If I could give -5, that’s what I’d give it. I haven’t seen such a terrible product since Web 1.0. That’s what you have here, flashback to 1996. You can’t change your seat if you are traveling with children. Requires an adult sitting directly next to you, even if you occupy 4 of five of the seats. You can’t add baggage if the above seating “app created problem” exists. When you finally figure out the jenga problem to the seats, if something gets kicked out on your credit card, you have to start COMPLETELY OVER! You can’t go fix the problem, you have to repeat the entire process. You aren’t even notified what the problem was. You have to completely type your billing address, it won’t populate from your saved information listed on your account. Every time you have to start over. You cannot copy and paste any fields, like cc #, email address, phone, etc. They disabled password managers that can prefill info. They force you to use this $h17y app, as I’m currently on hold for 41 minutes and 58 seconds. There is an option to have your camera scan your credit card, BUTit automatically turns on your light on your phone and with certain cards it creates a glare so the won’t read the card. There is a green box that you align your cc in but it’s impossible to make the green box center on the card without glare. I COULD GO ON. Fire your development team IMMEDIATELY. Terrible service right now!The last two months my mobile app and the phone number for Allegiant have been totally useless. When you reach out to customer service by email they tell you to get triplex or CALL customer service which is not answered and if you leave a message, no one calls you back. I had to “lose” a trip because I needed to reschedule and it was 100% impossible. I even drove to the local airport only to be told I’d have to come back another day. They only did it for two hours two days a week. My flight was scheduled to fly one day before the next “opening” to change. Tripflex would not have helped because the mobile app wouldn’t allow changes (couldn’t access itinerary). I fly a couple times a month. The app needs work and customer service needs to quit telling people to call customer service. Or actually have someone answer the phones..PoiughkVersion: 7.1.0

Can't sign in & no tech supportOn both the app and the website, I cannot sign in. I have reset my password at least four times today. I get an email confirmation that my password has been successfully reset, but the screen in the app and online does not show a confirmation that you've updated your password. Then when I try to enter the password my email says it has been successfully reset, I get an error message. So, I cannot login and I cannot get my boarding pass on my phone. As a result when I go to the airport I am going to pay to get a printed boarding pass when I should be able to get one on my phone if the password and password reset system systems were working. And there is no tech-support link on the app or on the website anywhere that I can find. I tried to call Allegiant, and I am forever on hold. Worst agency everThis is the worst company to fly with, the worst website, and the worst app I have even dealt with. It may be more affordable but what your paying for with other companies is to not have to deal with risks. I couldn’t change my moms flight or get a refund on it when her husband passed away because I was within the 24 hours of her flight. And now that I have plenty of the ahead of her flight for a different trip, I cant change the date of her flight through any browser or app or device despite it showing there are still seats available. And lastly there have been many times where I have to come in multiple days so that I can purchase a ticket because 80% of the time there is an error on the site or the app. Don’t ever go with Allegiant if you can go with another company. Don’t fly this airline!Still stuck on the plane. We left on the first flight of the day out of ATW to PIE. Left 2 hours late. Very little info so when I asked the flight crew that was standing around by the gate they said there was a ground stop into Florida. Odd for this early in the morning but ok. I immediately checked the FAA website and no ground stops so I have no idea why the delay. As I write this after landing 2 hours late, now no gate is available, so we are just sitting on the taxiway. Update, now 2:15 hours late, gate is available, no ramp agents to park us. How are we 2:15 late and no one told them we were coming? Is anyone running this place? Just pulled into the gate, 2:30 minutes late. To say this is a no frills airline is an understatement, it is a no service airline. This is my second time on Allegiant. Works when it wants to work, pick the lesser of the evils.Tried to checkin in the website and it gave me a error and told me to try again later. Downloaded the app, same thing happens. Have to repeat multiple times to checkin and eventually the request goes through and finally works. Funny, they will charge you if you checkin at the airport but then make the online checkin process half working, so ultimately your either wasting time for the app to work, or wait til you get to the airport and fight with the airline to waive the fee cause the app and website didn’t work, or just end up calling them and waiting on the phone forever. Regardless of what airline you have nowadays, they will nickel and dime you then make it a miserable process to use their service that you ultimately paid for. App seems ok. Allegiant is horrible.Bad news, we arrived more than two hours early because of TSA being behind. Bad news, you can’t check a bag more than two hours early, even with TSA running slow and a little over an hour being the normal time to expect. Odd choice. Good news, they’ll make an exception and check our bags early and the guy has room to hold on to them. Bad news. Our flight was bumped back to 216pm. Good news. It was moved forward again and will depart at 132p. Bad news, our plane departed according to the screens. Even though the app and screen still show the same gate and nothing has happened and dozens of us are still waiting. Good news, our plane didn’t depart but was actually bumped back again. We’re not sure how long. Good news, it’ll be boarding no later than 202pm. Five minutes later, Bad news, it’s delayed till 330 pm or later. Bad news, they have no way to confirm our luggage is waiting for the proper flight. Bad news, the lady at the counter thinks I’m dumb for checking a bag and despite my being calm and friendly, talked down to me repeatedly. Not user friendly at allI had my flights booked for a while and no problems with mobile check in and getting my boarding pass the first flight. My returning flight however the app said I was ineligible for mobile check in. I’d already paid for a seat and carry on. So I went to my emails and checked in online, not using the app. Still after getting checked in the app continued to say ineligible for mobile check in. So I deleted and app and reinstalled it but the only was that it will download now is if I put in my debit card info?? I already paid, I just want my mobile boarding pass and not the screen shot of the paper one, yes I know it’ll work fine, but what’s the point of the app at all if it just brings you in circles and you gotta do it the old school way anyway? Ineligible for mobile check in on the return leg of a round tripFlying home over the busy Thanksgiving weekend and I can’t do mobile checkin for my flight home - the app displays the message that I am ineligible for mobile checkin and to contact customer service. If you have flown on Allegiant you will know that there is no way to do this (mobile chat does not work and if you try to call them you will never get through to speak to someone) until you get to the airport where there is a $5 charge - per passenger - to print a boarding pass. This app is sketchy on a good day - it pops you out to the website but this time I had to sign on again and the login button was dead. Extremely Disappointing Experience with Luggage and Customer ServiceMy family and I recently had a very disappointing experience flying with Allegiant Air. We were traveling with our baby, and despite paying extra to check in our baggage, car seat, and stroller, Allegiant lost both the car seat and stroller. Our troubles started even before we boarded the plane at Austin South Gate. At security, they insisted on opening all of our baby’s ready-to-feed formula milk. Despite informing them that the formula would spoil once opened, they were completely uncooperative. While one staff member seemed to understand, a very rude lady insisted on opening every bottle, leaving us with spoiled milk that we had no choice but to throw away. Once we arrived at CVG airport, things only got worse. Our stroller and car seat were nowhere to be found at baggage claim or the oversized baggage area. We waited for hours, but no Allegiant staff showed up to help. To make matters worse, we couldn’t get a ride home because Uber refused to take us without a car seat for our baby. Trying to contact Allegiant’s customer service has been a nightmare. Their phone lines, live chat, and text messaging services are limited to a small window from 10 AM to 4 PM, and even then, no one answered. We are still waiting for a resolution. This airline is cheap, and their service reflects that. If you’re willing to spend a little extra, I strongly recommend choosing another airline to avoid the immense stress and poor treatment we experienced. Allegiant Air’s management is nonexistent, their customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered, and their complete disregard for customers is shocking. App still needs work…Had travel with this airline a few times but first time using the app, and really not very useful, had to call the airline a couple of times to get fees and other details about flights. It does let you check in, but won’t recognize in your account if there’s a trip, you need to manually add it. If changes need to be made it will let you do it by a step-step process, won’t let you skip to just add bags or seat just need to follow all steps and in the end it kick me off the app over 5 times, so had to again call airline, as there were no online agents available (at least not when I tried). The time to book a flight using this app and navigating all the offers and up-sells is long and aggravating. If a person selects normal options such as a carryon the fare bumps right up against the majors. Boarding Pass FiascoI fly Allegiant regularly and they have the most God-awful website when it comes to getting a boarding pass on your phone. Rarely fully functionalThe APP has become progressively worse. I fly Allegiant every one to two months and book flights using the APP. Honest Review.Just recently I was blessed to take a little vacation with some family. Allegiant was our provider, long story short our flight was delayed almost 4 hours going to South Carolina, coming back our flight was almost 3 hours delayed. Delay. Delay. Delay.Honestly, I should give this app five stars. All updates of your delayed flight(and I promise you, you will have a flight delay with Allegiant) will get to you in real time. For example at 4PM, sitting in the plane that was supposed to be taking off at 3:07PM, the entire plane who had the app received the notification that our flight was delayed until 5PM.
