So-So BUT...I would not pay more than $0.99 for this. If the price goes up like they say I would avoid this. I buy the high-end games so I don't mind paying more. But the graphics and quality are not up to the level that makes it worth more. The amount of options and ability to build up your weapons are nice. I don't mind the controls. Reload takes way too long but you can upgrade it. If the graphics were better I would continue to play this. Pretty good.As I said, this game is "pretty good." It's not excellent in my opinion and the graphics are definitely not the best, but its still fun. As far as I can see there is really not much of a storyline to this game either. Maybe I'll change my mind and give this five stars later. I haven't played much so far, but in the half an hour that I did play, I was not greatly impressed with a lot. There's not much new or original here as far as I can see. Decent shooter.Could use a little more variety,but the graphics and sound are solid, as are the controls. So far repetitive update, played over an hour REALLY repetitive !I keep playing level one over and over. Of course I gain money and can build up my weapons and get further each time, but it's pretty repetitive if designed this way. Hoping it gets better... But was only .99 cents. From the pics I thought it was a mech type game. But more like a tower.... You don't move other than panning around in your turret. Update, forced myself to play another hour hoping something would change. I do see a giant bug on occasion... But really sick of same thing over and over. Sniping is cool, but only one weapon can zoom. The mortar takes to long to hit a moving target.. It would be nice is maybe enemies grouped behind a car or place where you could actually hit them. Grenades? I have no idea how to use with any accuracy. A training level would be nice to explain things. I found some weapons were missing from a game because I didn't renew / buy more ammo for them. Enemies take same paths of the six options, you just keep running and blasting same thing, take same path. BORING! Reload of new game is way to long and the poster you have to look at each time is ugly... At least rotate through some nice screen shots like the main menu pic. Reload of weapons some commented is to slow... Yeah, but quickly updated. Doesn't bother me, I have decent reload speed now. But game reload is sloooooow. I have ipad3. Not worth more than 99 cents! BoringPretty tasteless and boring. Typical alien doomsday environments, with irrelevant zombies. You're in a birds nest, technically, just turning around and shooting stuff. You only have two guns you keep for ever with infinite ammo, with reloads, and all other weapons you start with only little ammo, of which must be purchased at high prices with typical credits. Either way, each "unique" weapon is boring in it's own boring way. Load times are bothersome, even for loading menus, and low quality low polygonal models. A waste of a dollar, I regret it. Lame... Pointless, obviously attempt to make some sort of stupid MMO, like those storm8 idiots, with the factions. Except with a little actual gameplay. Wouldn't ever recommend until updated out of the stupid credit system, a bit more free roam, optimization for at least menu loads, better weapons that once unlocked, do not require more money to be spent on ammo. UnderwhelmingRazor: Salvation is not a bad game, it's just not a very good one. The gameplay is similar to an arcade shooting gallery, you have no control over movement, just camera rotation. At its current price of $.99 that may be enough gameplay for $1, however when the game's price rises to 2.99 I'd strongly suggest avoiding it. What a waste of a buckPros the graphics look good, its even pretty fun to play Cons: its unplayable. it constantly crashes (just wait until you hit a good crate), it fails to load all the time. After spending a couple hours playing this I got so fed up I felt the need to come and write a review, I had successfully unlocked many of the weapon upgrades. I went to launch the game but got a black screen instead of the normal launch screen. I restarted the phone only to find that the game had completely reset itself and lost all of my progress.
