One of the best writing apps!I really like using this app! Not only does it have the prompts and exercising, but I can keep all my tidbits of writing in the notebook. I only have one thing- I don't like that you have to hit 'done' in the notebook for it to save what you wrote. There should be some sort of auto save. HrmmmmGot this in a bundle with one great app, two scam apps, and this thing. This is not great, but it’s pretty good. It’s strange that you can’t just start typing under a prompt, but you can save them and then type away under them there. For this sort of practice writing I think it could be great, just needs to be a little more intuitive, don’t see why it needs that extra step. I like it but...There isn't a lot of variety to the first lines and titles, and often it is difficult to make sense of the first lines. I dislike how there is no spell check on the notebook (it is very convenient for me to have auto correct), and how I can only type with my iPod when it's right side up, with the smaller keyboard. I also wish there was a way to go right to the notebook when coming across an exercise I'd like to use, or from the generators. Also, there are some contradictory things that get thrown together in the character sheets, and I wish there was a tad more information on those. I also agree with other users, a plot section would be awesome as well. I already like this app quite a bit, but there is a lot of room for improvement! Plenty of InspirationFor a few bucks, this app offers a lot. A great kickstarter when looking for ideas and to get your gears moving. The workshops are nice as they give ways for you to use the Triggers in a certain way. Saving prompts is great as well, considering everything generates at random, so you're not going to see the same one twice. It seems it was translated to English, but only a few errors on that part. The only downside is when they invite you to visit their site on the Tips bar, their blog is in Spanish. Other than that, great app..Springsteel Graphic DesignVersion: 2.6.2

Good first impressionI just got this app today and it seems pretty cool. Lots of ways to spark new ideas as far as characters and book titles. Even the five random words can help you think of something, even if it seems pointless. It does everything it promises. Morning jump start or great breakReally great palate cleanser if you've been writing and need a little something to distract you while you're subconscious is working out a plotting or dialog problem you've been grappling with. Well....The workshops are interesting and fun. But there isn't much of a variety when it comes to characters because most of them are like 40 and above. It could use some younger characters. The first lines are kinda nice. Some don't make sense but I found some I can start a story with. Uninstalled magically from my deviceThis app uninstalled itself (or disappeared) from my device once I got a higher IOS system and updated the app. Maybe the developers took it off the App Store to put in their other $9.99 app? I think that's it. It did look like the update wasn't there anymore, so I guess I had some warning. Oh, well, I got my use out of this in the past. Previous review: I like this app, but there's quite a few spelling/grammatical errors. I know the creator's first language isn't English, but if this app is meant to better our writing HIS writing should be better. [Better proof-read, at least. He doesn't make *that* many mistakes.] All the characters are really old. Even if you're an adult writer, you'd have to make a kid character in there somewhere. I'd love a plot line as well!
