The ‘Rubik's Cube’ of word search! It’s like if Word Search and ‘Boggle’ had a baby and made it in 3-D they’d call it ‘Word Head.’ You manipulate a 3-D cube floating in mid air looking for words that can wrap and twist around the sides of the cube. Move the cube up, down, 180 degrees to the left, 90 degrees to the right, there’s nothing like it. Word Head is highly addictive because its rotating 3 dimensional cube challenges players to quickly discover words from either a pre-selected or player-customized list. Find the word, score points. Once you find them all there’s one more hurdle to clear, you must discover a special ‘hidden’ word to win the game. Word Head has numerous themed word lists to play, with many to unlock through the Alphabet Quest. Each block on the rotating 3D cube has a different letter that can be used to spell a word – whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Players can rotate the 3D cube to search for the words listed on their screen. Players also can make their own word lists from an extensive word look-up provided in English, French, German, and Spanish – over 1.6 million words! Share your custom word lists with friends through iMessage. Plus Word Head uses the iOS dictionary to provide definitions for many of the words. And there are numerous Achievements and Leader Boards to rank your Word Head on the Game Center. So have fun, improve your mind and vocabulary, and play Word Head! Great way to pass the night away!Found this app while searching for word games. Very unique way to play word search type game. The way words wrap around the different planes on the cube is brilliant! Theme based word games plus the last hidden word give enough challenges to keep playing yet easy going enough to be relaxing. 3D word searchImmediately I was skeptical about the big rotating cube but after I realized how it wasn't much different than a glorified word search, it quickly became oriented. Just love itThe game has been fun to find words in a cube. Adds a new dimension to finding words. I was really bummed when I thought it no longer worked after iOS upgrade. Game modesI love this game, but I am extremely frustrated that the default is "score" mode. When I select "casual" mode, it doesn't stay there. After working really hard to complete a puzzle, I am told the score was aborted (meaning score mode was in effect at the end of the game. I also wish it was possible to save a game until later, especially with the larger boards. PLEASE FIX!.Version: 1.04
Great gameI really enjoy this game. It is a bit more challenging than a regular word search since words can wrap around up to three sides of the cube. Also, finding an unknown word that you are given the first letter to and number of characters adds a neat little twist. I highly recommend this game..Version: 1.04
Great game, but . . .It keeps opening the music app and turning my music up from mute to half volume? Not sure what's going on there. It's also a battery sucker! Unique, original idea!!!Easily my favorite part about this app is its novel ideas. I would have never even considered a 3d word search with word list systems.
