SpongeBob - The Cosmic Shake Customer Service

As someone that grew up watching the show, this is probably the best video game. Got the voices right for the most part, the graphics are great for mobile. The map is improved compared to bfbb. The humor from the show is here, a little turned down compared to what I knew but I can’t complain. Little buggy, glitches here and there but nothing compared to what people are saying. I’ve played at ultra 120hz on a iPhone 14 pro max. Two crashes and the game started without any character audio. But other than that it’s been smooth sailing. Although airplay understandably runs terrible unless you drop the fps to 30. And at that point you pretty much have the switch port. I could really appreciate the trend in full fledge console games coming to mobile.

This mobile port is amazing! My game barely even lags and the graphics are crisp. the touch controls are (surprisingly) good and I’m not even running this one one of those Fancy high end iOS devices like an IPad Pro. As long as your device isn’t too old and with proper graphics configuration in the game settings this can actually run on a lot of mobile devices. The only gripes I have with this is that one this game takes up a LOT of storage like I’m talking 10 gigabytes (which is A lot for a mobile game) and the fact that my device gets a bit warm when playing the game on some areas. Which isn’t even a problem with the game itself

Hi I played through the whole game it was super fun tho I had to restart the glove world fight 4 times due to crashes I wanted to start a new game game so I backed up the original auto saves and after I was done I put back in the 100% save files all my data was gone and all I wanted to do was replay the game for fun then do the quest now I can’t get the data back how ever I have the original auto saves so if anyone sees this please tell me a way to fix this issue… ima five star for now so people can see this but I would rate the game 4 stars due to crashes thank you too anyone who sees this message

They game is very fun it has some of its bugs when we are saving squidward and you get smacked by out of the creatures you can fall in the lava and get stuck there without dying and in the glove boss you take damage when there is nothing there little annoyed by this but the game is fun nice graphics the voice acting is perfect the saving is having a little difficult time saving three times I’m not sure why and sometimes it forgets to save but at least it does. It would be 5 Stars if theses bugs were fixed

Pretty solid Mobile port in all honesty, Controller of support also enhances it very well and makes it feel like you’re playing on a console, I ended up getting all the achievements, no problem as well. If all you have is a Phone or a IPad to play video games on and if you’ve got controller nearby with Bluetooth, I would highly recommend this, Sure it’s not the best way to play cosmic shake, But at the end of the day, it is still cosmic shake and a pretty good solid SpongeBob game at that.

Its good and I had no problem with it until I got to the part with spongegar, I defeated the boss in that level but it crashed when I was going to the portal so I had to defeat it again. then the last battle with jelly squidward and Kassandra I beat and it kept crashing. I had to redo it twice and even on the second time it crashed so I’m still trying to defeat them. Idk if this is bc of my device or not - edit: I finished it and I think it was really fun

I own this on PC and Console and had to grab it for iOS thank you devs for the port!! but there’s just one problem I have with the iOS version and I noticed there’s no option for auto text during cutscenes please add that feature because having to tap each time a voiced cutscene is done is trash versus just being able to just watch

I really enjoy this game, but my gosh, does it constantly crash (especially on the latest 128GB Apple TV). Walking around and get to a safe point… Crash! just beat a boss and portaling back to Bikini Boom… Crash! Finally reached that hidden coin you’ve been trying to get for a while… Crash! just now, I was walking around the film studio stage in an area with no activity – since I previously beat the mini boss in that area — and, you guessed it… Crash. I really hope these issues get sorted out soon so I can enjoy the rest of the game without worrying about losing any data.

The only reason why I am here today was to be with my SpongeBob game because I have watched it so long I don’t even know if it’s worth watching anymore but it’s a really cool game that I really enjoyed it so much and I l literally cried at the end of SpongeBob SuarePants the cosmic shake!

I tried lowering the graphic settings but there are now more problems. The hand control keeps appearing, the swing control is the reef blower sucking control. Bikini bottom crashes, photomode crashes, and the pause menu goes black! PLEASE HAVE AN UPDATE!

This game has such a great story. As a long time SpongeBob fan this game really exceeded my expectations, just like rehydrated. When I beat the game it made me so sad that it had to end, we need another one just like it, so good job THQ Nordic, and purple lamp studios for making such an amazing experience.

Updated review had to uninstall and reinstall it but other than that runs smoothly much better than before a lot of stuff was missing now everything is fine

To anyone giving below a 4 star you are ruining the authenticity of reviews and any bugs or problems you had are most likely due to your phone. Game ran perfect and looks amazing. Keep these ports coming!

I love the game itself, it truly is amazing but if I play for more than 20 to 30 minutes, my phone exits the app all by itself somehow, I am not sure if this is a game technical difficulty, or a phone technical difficulty but I wish for this bug to be fixed!!

It’s great the whole thing exept it keeps crashing when I beat the game after jelly squidward so I’m kinda just stuck so I don’t play anymore but I’m runing this on a iPhone 9 so thats prolably why

People complaining are trippin. Have the graphics settings on low and you’ll be good. I enjoy this game better than SpongeBob battle for bikini bottom and that was the best SpongeBob game ever made. Keep up the great work handy games!

I just 100% this game and it’s amazing the costumes are amazing gameplay and mechanics just chef kiss handygames are the goat for porting this to mobile I’m getting a new phone and my phone can still play at ultra resolution and 60 fps

It’s a awesome game but Fix this. At the end of the game after I defeated madam Kassandra and Squidward and when the paper rolls out it glitched out and it made me mad and did it over and over but still glitched..😞

Hey whenever I complete the final boss, the game crashes. I’m playing the game on a iPhone 11 and the version is 17.5.1. Can you please fix this issue?

Every time you get an achievement In the game it opens the pause menu which I kind of annoying.

So this game is the best because there’s a lot to explore and you can change SpongeBob and you can these little creatures and big creatures! Best game ever!

Every time I get hit by a bomb from that jelly thing my game crashes and I have to start from the very begging of the game!

Okay, great game Nickelodeon, but i HATE the constant crashes during the Pom Pom/Pearl boss and also not just that part. Also just when there’s too many enemies or it’s to cartoonish for my IPAD 10 which is the latest one, it makes me upset to see my iPad crash bc of sooooooo many enemies. Although, it’s a great game. Ps also it’s not just the glitches that make me stuck on the Pom Pom boss. Got any tips? Hehe Anyway I also want to thank nick for 25 years of SpongeBob! The Plankton movie was EPIC Good job on 25 years, and hopefully here’s to another 25. Love, Jelly Roll lover. PPS jelly roll was also nominated for the kids choice awards 😁😁😁😁

The game crashes out during the glove boss level can you fix it please!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know why my previous review did not show up but here it is again. Dear developers, thank you so much for amazing experience! Just for 1 bucks get to enjoy this amazing game! Many don’t realize how much effort it takes to develop something like this! Truly amazing that they even sell it for this price. The graphics are stunning, the game play is cool and fun. Only one issue I experienced is sticking at the pirate island where I can’t keep going further down the level, but if this can be fixed it will be truly remarkable game! Thank you everyone who make this game if you reading this!

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the game works with any graphic settings even epic settings runs smoothly. The only thing is that my phone gets very hot on these settings. Even when I change it to the lowest graphics settings it still gets hot. It would be a great game if it didn’t make my phone hot. Hopefully they can update it to fix the heat problem.

Just got the game yesterday and already ran into so many bugs. Things not popping up where they should, the game completely freezing and kicking me out. When it kicks me out it completely starts over the entire level. Changed the graphic settings as someone recommended and it’s still happening. Honestly you’d be better off not wasting your money. Pretty upset because I was looking forward to a similar game since I finished rehydrated.

Squidward door is visible for me Also pirate level the first sock the platform to get the sock it’s also visible for me in the Gary level I spawn probably falling to my death. I still love this game fix these bugs and I will be happy If don’t fix this bug I will never play this game again, because in pirate goo a goon The first platform still will be invisible will probably fall in Gary in the first section, please fix these bugs so I can finish the game my uncle try to fix the settings it doesn’t work

I deleted the app. Unfortunately this game repeatedly crashes. (DOESNT MATTER IF ITS SET TO 60 or 30). I’ve passed the Glove World Portal mission three times, every single time after Spongebob travels back to bikini bottom, it crashes & when I open it back up it starts at the beginning (even after starting the trash pickup mission that follows). After it crashed during the litter mission i refused to do the glove world mission again & deleted it.

Constantly Crashes, I’ve had to do basically every boss fight 5-8 + times and I’ve beat the game about 12 times now and it has yet to let me see what happens after credits… It’s Plays… But I’m very upset. I’d love to not have to do everything multiple times, I do however like the game play and the sound design, just add a save to when you finish fights… Ughhh

It was fun at first but then it got repetitive since the gameplay was mostly the same and the game kept crashing and it made me beat the same boss multiple times but the game wasn’t actually that bad just annoying gameplay but you should make more SpongeBob games

I still use different settings and it still lags and makes me exit the game I have to delete different games and apps for it to work I change the settings and it stilll messes up

I play this before but now I’m trying to play again yet everytime I try downloading additional file the game say error not sure why cuz I have the space for it

If i ever enter the game and try to load up the game, it always says download error, and it keeps saying it. I also have enough space for it (5.9GB) so I’m not even sure why it keeps saying this. Please fix this and thanks if you read this.

I have completed the same level now 3 times and when ever I pick the game back up after getting sponge bobs house I lose all the progress. I was enjoying this game in my off time but now I’m upset.

Y’all need to fix the glitch because when I beat the glove and get to the cleaning up bikini bottom it glitches and makes me redo the glove man again

Would be better if the game have different speeds, like slow motion and all of that, so all ages and kids can play in slow motion without being stressed that the game is too fast.

So I just wrote a review saying it was good but I’m changing it because when I go to the big sand castle it keeps glitching and I can’t play so not the best game

My game keeps crashing when downloading the mandatory 4gb on top of the 3gb for the game and it’s making my game crash and my phone go slow

Great game, however it keeps crashing at the same exact part when I beat glovey glove. Frustrating.

I downloaded this game because I love it and I also had it in console but when I first played it I couldn’t get pass the first part and there was no solution and squidwards house was invisible and I couldn’t touch it

Check on mr krabs parachuting to 3rd tower has bug because the meter is still plenty full when you get there but you fall right in front of it.

A game like this should have full controller support when being ported

Appreciate the quick response from the developers but it is such a shame that so many issues weren’t caught by the QA team before release! With all of the issues present, I felt like I was working as an intern QA tester at HandyGames while playing and writing this review (maybe I can get some compensation huh 🤨). Hopefully these issues get fixed in a new update as they ruined the gaming experience for me upon my first play through, and I would have held off buying this port had I known the state it was in. I’m playing on the iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 17.2.1, and here are the issues I’ve experienced: - Game sometimes crashes when several enemies are screen. This has happened multiple times on the “pirate” level, such as when there are many enemies like in the giant sandcastle part of the level. - Game sometimes crashes when loading a new world by going through a portal. - Once giant Gary is in Bikini Bottom, the slime/green ooze he spits is all glitchy looking (the texture flashes erratically) - When looking at the life raft trampolines from the bottom/underneath, they are see-through (ie. the “tarp” that you bounce on is not visible so it looks just like a hollow life raft) - Even with the latest update the game crashes during loading the last boss fight - Game crashes during glove boss fight, particularly after the first stage. - Game crashes during reef blower challenge in Karate level parking lot - The dabloon does not appear in the Rock bottom level button challenge with fire hoops immediately after the snail race (where there are two fire hoops and four enemies to defeat, once the enemies are defeated no coin appears) - Despite collecting all prior achievements, the last achievement “One Sponge to Rule Them All” did not unlock - Pirate level background/sky is glitchy and turns white sometimes - In a few areas the lines indicating a new button or slingshot do not disappear even upon pressing/using these buttons/slingshots (an example of where this occurs is with the first slingshot on the Karate level) - Checkpoints sometimes don’t pop-up/activating the animation of the sign springing up - The last set of costumes aren’t available to purchase with jelly until the game is complete and you’ve basically 100% everything. This makes no sense since you have no real opportunity to use them in-game since everything is complete at that point (no New Game+ option either) - This port of the game requires a high amount of jelly to unlock costumes. In the PC/console versions the amount of jelly was reduced with a patch to a more realistic cost (500 per costume). In the mobile version of the game this patch was not applied, so players end up needing to spend hours farming jelly after completing everything in the game just to be able to unlock all of the costumes—this is not fun!

The game itself is quite cool with multiple bosses on your journey, the graphic is supremely impressive and immersive , all of the vibrant colors and well detailed background truly amazing ,this is definitely one of the best game on macOS that stand out, but when it comes to performance it’s constantly crashes and sometimes you have to start the level from a scratch, which is annoying and unbearable and you just want to quit and play other games ,it’s quite a bit of time passed since it was released and I just have hope that it will be fixed, but still I am experiencing an unpleasant aftertaste after my purchase. P.S I still think that’s one of the greatest adventure game on macOS and I have high hopes that developers will take into account the issue with crashing and fix it asap. I’m playing on iPad Pro m1, so haven’t had any issues until now and it made me drop a very first comment regarding this game.
