Very EntertainingI love this game. It’s challenging, moves fast and has enough variety to keep it interesting. My only complaint is that the letter hunt keeps prompting me to play but is all grayed out. Either stop prompting or activate, please. It’s been a while longer and the Thanksgiving gold tile game started a few days ago. It also doesn’t work. I solve the words, the gold tiles fly down to the ticket icon but don’t give credit. Wish it either worked correctly or could be turned off. Taking a star away for that. The rest is still fun. Updates: I was able to delete app and redownload from cloud in App Store. That kept all my coins and points and fixed the letter hunt too. Back to five stars since I didn’t lose everything..RainiyaVersion: 1.18.2

Not bad, wish it were harderI feel like there are several ways this game could be given a higher difficulty, like, more points for speed, which would thus make you lose your bonus if you go too fast. I’d also like a keyboard option, maybe there is somewhere, but not on the phone? Idk. I lose bonuses all the time from a slippery finger and that feels cheap. Also, the coins are cool but they just make the game even easier. Um, can their be some dumb thing to unlock besides ways to make it easier? I think more risk/reward could be fun, too. For example, if there is a bonus word and you don’t get it before you finish the puzzle, you shouldn’t get to get it. I assumed that was the rule until I found it waits for you to guess it, which seemed again, too easy. Maybe these can be turned on and off, so it appeals to more people? I like words puzzles and the only time I really enjoy this game is when I give myself made up rules and go super fast, and when I finally get stuck on like, idk, EMU, I like the game again. Major ImprovementsAdding the embedded dictionary was a major improvement. Adding the pronunciation is a stellar improvement. Now a minute request: after completing the game, I want to access the meaning of the last word right away. The current dictionary should be sorted by giving access to the last word first. In my opinion, I would want to access that last word first before moving on to the next level. I don’t want to go through the random list of words to read the definition of the last one. I had plenty of opportunities to check for any other words before solving the last word. Therefore I think putting the last word first in accessing the dictionary at the end of the level is a must. It would interesting to add a counter for the countries left to reach the end of the game along with a list of countries completed..Johann RiviereVersion: 1.10.4

399 Days in a RowOwl puzzle 228 of 235, incorrect picture for Sonoran Desert. Hope there will be more Owl puzzle pictures after 235. Would be nice if the descriptions included where in the world they exist, although now, I have to search out the info, so maybe that’s better. All of the word trails after 6673 are both easier and harder than those played before reaching the end of the world journey. Now in Tender. What can I expect next? Will the game continue indefinitely? Will there be more random golden letter and puzzle piece challenges? My daily challenges stop after three word jars and 12 puzzles. Super buggy (sadly)The word trails are fun and engaging but the extras are super buggy. The letter collection event gets stuck at “time’s up” and crashes, if you didn’t finish the previous one. In other words, you finish the event with some days to spare and the game tries to start it again. Since there is no much time left, it expires (correct) but when the next event starts weeks later, it gets stuck and keeps crashing. Also the puzzle event is kind of dumb since it starts randomly and if it does it at 10pm, it’ll expire overnight unless you want to stay up. Lastly, the stars you collect with Mr Hoot to add things to your scrapbook are programmed to always give you no more than 3. Even if you hit all the Mr Hoots, you won’t get 5 starts. Basically, it’s programmed to collect one item every 2 days. I’m now at level 1974 so I had time to learn it :).IEmmaCVersion: 1.22.0

Okay game but…It’s not a bad game but there are flaws. One main thing is when you do the puzzle of the day and you earn stars to complete a picture the game doesn’t give you all the stars you earn. Example pictures need a certain amount of stars and you can earn up to 8, 10, 12 stars but I only get 3 stars and a picture needs 4 stars to complete. Why don’t I get all my stars? One time I completed the puzzle and earned 15/15 stars and only received 4 enough to complete the picture. What’s the purpose of the puzzle to earn 15 stars but you don’t even get to keep them all? Today I earned 10/12 and I only received 3 stars and didn’t complete the picture of the day. Picture needed 4 stars. Flawed but serves its purposeThis is a poorly designed game that continues to be plagued by bugs and glitches despite a series of updates. Users report problems, the tech team responds politely that they will fix the problem, and then nothing changes. The game’s dictionary makes no sense. Some plurals or “er” forms of common words are not accepted, yet variant spellings of obscure words that seem to come from Old English are okay. And I won’t go into the annoying letter hunts that keep popping up—others have reported on that repeatedly. That said … the reason I rated this a 3 and not a 1 is that playing the game gets me into a kind of meditative zen state. When I feel stressed, it calms me. Addictive!A simple and fun word game that, despite some minor flaws, is a great time killer. My wish is that we have some sort of leaderboard that could be compiled for the game, maybe even by region. That would motivate players to compete and push further. I currently have close to 65,000 experience on level 2109. The game indicates the level having been solved by 0.06% of players. It’s fun working to get that number down, but a leaderboard would be more gratifying. Good Game, Bad Event HandlingI've enjoyed the game quite a bit and other than several words that don't make it into the game's dictionary for various reasons, it's still fairly fun to play. My ONLY complaint is how events are handled. Fun but a little repetitiveIt's a fun diversion. It can be challenging, which keeps you coming back. Some words are extremely obscure, which can be frustrating. The bonus word jar fills up and has to be "claimed" before you can get credit for additional bonus words. Why? There's no incentive for pressing that button, it's just another click. Instead, why not automatically give us the bonus and let us keep claiming bonus words? The game is a little repetitive. At this point I have thousands of coins and over a hundred light bulbs. Like the game butPlease fix the glitch that causes pop-up asking player to complete letter hunt event when time has expired. I completed this same event twice within a week’s time successfully. The third time the exact same event came up, it only had a few hours left. Since you only earn one letter per puzzle, if that, there wasn’t time to earn them all, yet the event continues to show up and pop up, interrupting play. ProblemsChallenging and does improve performance over time but one minute I have over 500 points and 3 hours later I start playing again and only have 16 points, not enough to even buy a hint… I worked hard to get those points too for them to just disappear with no explanation or remedy. Make this more funI like the game! As we go up higher, you are spreading out from 20 to 40, which is too much. It’s almost like inviting players to stop playing. I would say 20 is a good number, keep it at that and keep the players encouraged. There are so many countries! It will take time to get to all. Also, if there is a way to report the bugs? My ice fishing challenge is stuck and it keeps saying time’s up but keeps showing up in between. At times like that, do we have a way to report? Anyways, this is a fun game. Pretty good gameYou might think this game is about solving puzzles to the advance to the next, but after playing this game for a few hours I quickly realized that the whole point of the game is actually to fill the bonus word jar. Letter hunt brokenThe main gameplay is fine. I would appreciate harder words but it’s fine for what it is. The really frustrating part is the letter hunt event keeps breaking. The last event had pop ups about my progress, but the letter hunt page wouldn’t load - just a grey screen. The current event is doing the same thing now and will close the app while not responding to my trying to press the “back to game” button. Relaunching the app doesn’t fix it. Revise the layoutGame is fine. Missing some words but what is really annoying is that the scramble letters button, which is used frequently is so close to the other buttons that cost points. When trying to play quickly and move up, more than once I have hit the lightening bolt which costs the most points and I only have one word left. Move the buttons up!! Away from the scramble button. It is ridiculous. Unless the intent is this. So annoying. Also jigsaw events are timed but they seem to start at midnight. I only have very little time to do it. Crazy. SimpleThe game is simple, with most words being familiar. The rewards a hint mechanisms are decent and the side quests like the daily owl or the events add to the experience. I also appreciate the stats on percentage of completions. There is, however, room to improve the engagement. There is not much progress in the difficulty and introduction of new vocabulary. So simple you feel dumb not smartI want to request that the user can set their level. Starting out with basic words should be a one time intro. Instead you can't seem to get through them. I had to stop because it was so basic it made my head hurt. The UI is rewarding but too slow to the reward, so you have to wait each level for this screen to pass, which is excruciatingly slow and repetitive. My 7 year old asked to play it, and I was happy she liked it so much. Great game, poor optimizationI love this game in all its form. Played the ad supported version and the Apple Arcade one but when my trial to Apple Arcade was up I was happy to see Netflix offered an ad free version too. Unfortunately it’s not really polished compared to the other versions. On a Pro Max phone the game does not take up the full screen. The animations sometimes don’t play out correctly. New Update Needs Fixing!Love this game, really addicting and calming, but the new update is driving me mad! It keeps trying to launch the Halloween puzzle that I finished weeks ago, and the bubble that shows me how many hints I have doesn’t show three numbers now, only two. The awards never increaseUpdating my review - I’m at 1936 on the map, daily rewards say they increase, I’ve gotten to over 90 days straight and it’s the same 2 hints and 20 points. Yet hen you return to the game, the letters get large and offset, you have to get out of the game and go back in to resolve. EntertainingThis is an entertaining game, I like the daily challenges where you win stars to show special places/animals across the globe, and periodic events change up the flow. There’s a few bugs to work out: the letter hunt stays active after the event is over and will pop up reminders that go nowhere for almost a month. MehIt’s fun at first, but I’m on level 250 and it’s starting to feel very repetitive. It just feels way too easy and I can’t imagine needing to use any of the hints. Great, except for one major design faultI truly enjoy this game and have played it for many hours. The one MAJOR design flaw, for me, is that the “burst hint” that costs 120 coins is right next to the shuffle icon. I use shuffle all of the time. Encountered A BugHi, I’ve encountered a bug in the game that I hope your team can look into. I really enjoy playing Word Trails—it's a great game and quite addictive! However, after reaching the goal labeled “Solved by 0.01 players”, the Letter Hunt feature stopped working. The red indicator still lights up, but nothing happens when I try to interact with it. Also, when I click to view Events, the screen comes up blank. Great game but…I really enjoy this game except for two things that keep me from coming back: 1) if you play fast, forming the words can be jerky and sticky where it stops and you have to keep starting a word over to get it to recognize your movements (it’s not my connection as it doesn’t happen with any of the other identical word games); and 2) when the word bonus jar fills up, you have to halt the flow of your game to go click in and collect the bonus coins - this is the biggest deal breaker as flow is everything with these types of games. When you’re on a roll in the middle of a game, the last thing you want is to be interrupted and lose your track and momentum. Word TrailsVery good game! But annoying when a word is accepted in one puzzle but not another. Also many times a word is accepted but not the plural form of the same word. One of the Special Event puzzles is excellent, the 12 day one. However the 12 or 13 hour puzzle always starts at 10 or 11 pm. Well, I live in Canada and as a senior, I generally try to get 7-8 hours sleep. Meaning I am left with very few hours to complete that puzzle. The game is fun enough, with all the addictive trappings to keep you tapping and swiping ad nauseam. What I disliked most was the sheer repetitiveness of words from level to level. You’ll be typing basic words like TEAR and RATE, MEAN and NAME, SALE and SEAL hundreds if not thousands of times, often in consecutive levels. Precipitous fall aheadStarts out being a fun game but quickly becomes and exercise in remembering a handful of words ad nauseam: era, ore, sue, let, eat are some of the game designers favorites. If you want to repeat those words 6070 times this game is for you! At game 374 only 6% of players successfully complete the puzzle. Sure that might be true if they included the word “beal” instead of “able”, but they don’t. It’s because 94% of players that started have quit out of boredom. I’ll be joining those statistics. Crashes!!The game constantly crashes, so it is impossible to continue. I am mostly playing it in Deutsch - maybe that particular version is corrupted. The only way to keep playing is by removing the app and download it again. Not only a big hassle, but the goals of the game restart (events too). The only reason it even deserves the one star rating is because Netflix still saves the main progress I am making, so I don’t have to restart the whole game. Very, very annoying and frustrating. Other things to criticize: Many photos for the countries get recycled, in other words the same photo is used for several countries. Are the developers making fun of us players to cheat us like that? In the German version many words are phantasy words or are misspelled! Finally, the special events are often corrupted. Was fun until the bugsI really enjoyed this game until I got to the levels that a very few percentage of people have reached. I’m currently at a level that only .09% of people have reached and the letter hunt no longer works. It is literally a white screen that tells me how long I have left to solve this completely blank screen. It’s not supposed to look like that! But does the prompt still tell me to check my progress with EVERY new word search I solve? Yes. Is that prompt that I have to x out of EVERY time I start a new word search annoying? Yeah. It is. There is zero way to report bugs as well, so that’s great. I’ll keep playing it stops working entirely I suppose. This was the 2nd game I tried via Netflix, and the only one I liked. Very unhappyI am extremely frustrated and angry.. you got me hooked on this game.. and I’m now quite a bit into it.. in order to get 80 credit credits you had to solve 20 games.. now all of a sudden it’s 40 games for the same amount of credits… You have the hidden words with a yellow square if you solve that game, you get one letter revealed.. You usually get one yellow square per game.. then all of a sudden there was three or four games with no yellow square.. I only need a two squares to solve all of it and all of a sudden all the squares stopped for about eight games.. It’s like you’re rigging this to not win.. I am now stuck on a word and this has happened a few times I cannot solve, and I don’t have enough credit put a letter… so I can’t do a thing until the next day when I get a bonus of two letter letters… There’s no way out of it. I’ve been trying to solve this one word for four hours… And all it does is piss me off.. What kind of a game have you created? That makes the person so angry and there’s no way out… I have 31 games. I’ve got to solve in order to get enough to get the hidden words and get 390 credits.. And another thing I have put many words which you have rejected simple words like Rome that this game won’t recognize… this is occurred at least 30 times where I know it’s a word. Keeps reverting to old saves, having to redo same boards.It’s fine in the beginning, but then later it keeps saying you need to select from a last save file. Forcing you to loose all progress.
