Great game with needed updatesI don’t have many complaints about the gameplay and the game itself is fun and strategically balanced on how you should approach enemies. One thing that’s an absolute must is when you’re in battle and need to reload your health the hold to replenish is finicky. It should be a simple press because in difficult fighting situations it just doesn’t make sense holding the button while your enemies are still attacking you. Masterpiece. Also tips:There are 2 builds I like. The first one is the dual daggers and an ice blast (harder of the 2 but can deal good damage if strategic). Speed run the first level and upgrade health and damage. And the tank,instantly get the mutation that decreases health after getting hit. if you get the nutcracker take it as well as any other damaging thing. If you stumble on the bat in a shop and it does around the same get it (it crits more often).explore the entire first area, it’s your friend. Start by getting whatever gives you the most percent health (those power scroll things choose the one that says the highest percent. then once you get to forest start doing all healing tier and whatever helps your mutations on the ones where you can’t. Game crashesDead cells is an amazing game that slowly grows on you. I’ve been playing it a lot recently, however, after some time, the game crashes and kicks you out of the app. You still left off from where you were but then it becomes continuous. I tried restarting my device and closing every app leaving only the dead cells app on and the crashes still occur. If this issue was fixed along with the audio and frame drops, I would give this game 5 stars Edit: After testing the game out, frame drops and audio issues are guaranteed to happen when going through toxic sewers and, especially, ancient sewers. Overall, they occur after passing 2-3 domains. Restarting the app fixes it TEMPORARILY. The game then crashes when you unlock most of the weapons and items in the game. Would get 5 stars if it didn't do thisI love dead cells, i bought the game a year ago and i'm happy that it's now free for me on mobile. i have this one gripe that makes the majorly impacts my enjoyment of the game. when i try to listen to music while playing, it cuts it out and there's nothing i can do to fix it. i tried turning the volume off in the setting but it still didnt let me play music. this is a really big turn off because dead cells is the type of game i enjoy more with music. just exploring dungeons and fighting monsters on the go with my favorite music playing is such a cool idea to me. but unless the devs add this feature in the game isn't complete to me. if they ever add this feature in i'd be ecstatic but for now i'm playing dead cells on console..Dmozzz___Version: 3.3.12

It’s truly a 5/5 game, bugs bring it down to 3I say this as some one that loves this game and find it perfect to play on mobile w/touch screens. It takes while to get used to it but once you do this becomes one of the best games ever on mobile. I have the original iOS version of the app and I’m glad to have the Netflix version for all the dlc. But the frame rate and audio bugs are very annoying. It doesn’t stop me from playing it whatsoever, but the workaround to quit the game and then quit the app itself then open it back up again is annoying to do 2-3 times per sit. Great game, but the sound keeps buggingI’m not really one for RougeLites, but deadcells is pretty good. I tried googling my problem, and looks like there is a post from Reddit that is 4 years old. The sound keeps bugging out. The Official Netflix Deadcells webpage says to close all other apps and try reloading the app. Which is kinda crazy that i need to do in the first place. Many times I can not complete a full fun without the sound bugging out on me. How am i supposed to close and reload a RougeLite game? Every time i close and re-open it ill need to start all the way from the beginning again. UnplayableAs the title says, this game is unplayable on my device (IPhone 15 Pro). I check on Reddit to see if the problem was on my end and multiple people are saying that it only happens to them when they play the Netflix edition and not the one that you can download after buying a subscription to Apple Arcade. Although my favorite things about this game is the combat, the weapons, and how you have the ability to Parry. Coming back to what I said earlier, I tried disabling high resolution mode, kept the FPS to 30 or 60 (I thought the issue would be having the FPS to uncapped but that wasn’t it). Audio bug still persists after most recent updateHuge fan of this game, glad to see it get released on Netflix Game Pass There is an odd audio bug that I noticed in both the initial release and the first update, where sounds are sometimes doubled - its especially noticeable after you’ve defeated a number of enemies in a row and it is supposed to be calm. Audio and frame rate bugsOverall thank you Netflix for allowing us dead cells with all dlc but how is it this port has many frame rate issues even lowering the cap doesn’t help and the audio issues makes it where the game can be completely silent and defeating enemy’s have their death sound show up after killing them and away from the area. Seriously love this gameNetflix porting Dead Cells to mobile was a move I wasn’t expecting, but it turned out amazing! I played it on Xbox originally, but the mobile controls are very solid and intuitive. I encountered two bugs: a frame-rate drop when loading through doors, and an audio glitch that doubles sounds. Good, but some bugs.This game is really good, but it does have some audio bugs. There are some framerate bugs, where it’ll get laggy for no reason, and a lot of audio glitches where sounds play multiple times when they shouldn’t, sometimes the audio gets glitchy, and on one occasion the music stopped altogether and I had to restart the game. Incredible game!I rarely write reviews but I had to say how incredible the accessibility options for this game are. I have loved watching Dead Cells gameplay but I’d resigned myself to never experiencing this game myself because I’m simply Not Good at Videogames. I have a slow reaction time, I panic when I’m in danger, I lose my way easily, and I’m just generally not the kind of person who can play punishing but rewarding games But, when I saw that Dead Cells was available through Netflix… I couldn’t help myself. I figured that I’d get to kill a few enemies, die horribly, and never progress beyond the first level. But, opening up the settings menu was glorious. The ability to customise your gameplay experience is far beyond what most games offer. You can tailor the volume of individual sound effects, for example?! That’s incredible! They have the option to turn on features that make gameplay a lot more friendly to someone like me: someone who this game wasn’t intended for but who still wants to experience just a little bit of it for themselves. The developers could have easily left it out. It would have been so much easier to not add in those features and, I imagine, much of its playerbase (hardcore, incredible players) wouldn’t even notice. But they included it anyway. Don’t Get This Version!Whatever you do, don’t get the Netflix version of Dead Cells. There are tons of other ways to play this game (even the App Store has two other identical versions of the game) and Netflix’s version is the only one you should avoid. It’s been nearly 5 months since it was released and it’s still a buggy mess. The bugs that cause sound effects to repeat, music to disappear, and the frame rate to tank to single digits have been well known since launch and they are still present. The link the developers provided me for help is useless as there isn’t even an option to report bugs in a game. Dead Cells is an excellent 5/5 game and Netflix has completely dropped the ball and brought it down to 1/5.
