Helpful, a few quirks thoughI only used this app for the last 2 hours or so, in that time I realized that this is way better than Duolingo at getting you to become better at conversational Spanish, Duolingo is good for teaching you words, but how to use them in conversation this app is better…so far.. the quirks I spoke of, a few of the “repeat” words, no matter how perfect to say them, it will say 0% accuracy.. and you end up having to repeat it like 20 times to go to the next one. That is annoying, it only happened on 3 words but those three costed me a good 5 minutes at least for no reason. The only other complain is this app uses euros, I love in America and would rather learn to use dollars in conversation than Eros which I will never use . There seems to be no way to change that setting, I even tried talking to the AI and asking her to start teaching in dollars instead of euros. All she did was ask if I wanted to learn how dollars are used in America. A way to switch that would make me happy. Oh also a few times when you need to repeat a long sentence, after 2-3 words it will stop listening and you will have to redo it, not giving you enough time to finish the sentence.. that happens like 2 times in the 2 hours but still worth noting. Great way to practice my SpanishI use another app to learn to speak Spanish, and I was not getting enough practice in conversation. I tried Hablo to see how it would help me practice my conversation in Spanish. It has been amazing, you interact with the AI and it corrects you so that you learn to speak properly. You can also go back and review what you’ve done and it allows you to replay the correct pronunciations either at normal speed or slow slowly so you can listen carefully. If you tap into the sentence, you get details about the thing that you’re asking a question about. I recommend this even if you’re already using a different app, because it really helps with the conversational practice. I’m still on the free trial, but I plan to buy the annual subscription. So far so good!Just downloaded and started Spanish lessons today. I’m a complete beginner and my pronunciation is terrible. The AI tutor is maybe a bit too forgiving, but I’m going to try to get through the first round of lessons before switching on strict mode because right now I am primarily just trying to absorb words and phrases. Eventually I want to practice real conversations with people on sites like omegle, but have been too afraid to try. I really needed an app like this to gain any confidence at all in other languages. Still getting to know itSo far, so good. I have been using this app for a little over a month now, trying to get a better understanding of learning Spanish. I love how it has the interactive AI, and it also has tips that it gives you during the lessons. I also love how it has the Q&A and the dialogue. I think it’s also very cool how it gives you clarification on mistakes that you make while having lessons with the AI. I think just like any other AI in 2025, it still has a long way to go. Doesn’t always understand all of my responses. And sometimes I’ll answer some of the questions right and it still will think I answered things wrong. It could also use more lessons and better instructions on how to use things like the flashcards. WowI have been using Duolingo for 4 years for about 5-10 minutes per day. A max subscriber for the last 2 years. I feel that I can read Spanish pretty well and make short sentences. I have no one to practice listening and speaking with. This app has so far filled that hole in my learning. This AI is pretty far ahead of Duolingo’s. And Jumpspeak doesn’t even come close to Duolingo’s. Ai software not fully functionalI’ve been using hablo for some weeks now. I already speak some Spanish, but just want to get better. The software isn’t the best for hearing. Sometimes I’ll speak during “chat libre” and be interrupted. Sometimes the ai model will mispronounce things as if in English. For example “comes” is pronounced “com-es,” yet pronounced as “comes” in English. Many times it can’t even hear me after saying an easy word very clearly. “De” and “te” are virtually inaudible. Very useful app though, just some significant bugs that need to be worked out, especially for those who may not know any Spanish at all. My teacher is very intelligentIt took me a while to get used to this style of learning but the conversational style is good. I was asked to say in Spanish how many eyes I have in my head and I replied 3 ( with the help of another translation app). Two in the front and one in the back. Ava ( the AU tutor) picked up on this and told me that my answer was creative and even helped me to form my answer correctly. What I don’t like at my level is that the lesson descriptions have no translation and sometimes I’ve had answer screens cover the question so I can’t review the teacher’s previous response. Learning Spanish!I find the program to be challenging, but very helpful. The best part is that I can do it on my own time, and I am learning at a pace I can control. Excellent tutor but needs some improvementsDefinitely a good start but needs to be able to slow down just a tad. The options are regular speed which is very fast and at 75, which is too slow. Should be able to set at 90% for learning. Also when you ask hablo to slow down and repeat it. She doesn’t slow down. And it freezes fairly often. Lastly, it should be able to connect to your car audio phone system when having a conversation like Duolingo. Ok, but not actually learning a lotI like some of the pronunciation checking, but I don’t feel like I’m actually learning how to speak to someone in Spanish. It goes pretty fast and things don’t seem to cover enough for me to feel comfortable in conversation. Going through things once and learning a couple of words on a topic doesn’t make me feel like I can understand or speak to someone else in Spanish. Fabulous programThis was exactly what i wanted in a language program. You get an AI person to talk back and forth with you in various role playing scenarios, you can either listen with or without subtitles and or translations. You get to answer. Your AI listens and corrects you if needed. So far its worked perfectly. I’m amazed they offer this at only $39 per year. In another section you can get feedback on your pronunciation. Great start! Needs moreThis is great for conversational learning and helps you really understand the language in that way. However, it skips over the fundamentals in forming sentences (even at the lowest level). I was hoping to grab this for myself and my son, but it's proving to be a difficult task to learn and catch onto the language if we are being forced to learn from the top down. I’ve been waiting for an ai Spanish tutor!It’s honestly super cool, the ai tutor catches every mistake you make and it also understands what you’re trying to say and it’s able to do it all in a matter of seconds. Speaking back-and-forth through the AI personI think the functionality of this works out really well and I like the suggestions that are made when I have errors in my conjugation, etc. They also give you tips on what you could say as a response to their multiple questions. I hope that they can make something where you can just talk back-and-forth as if you’re chatting with someone in a conversation while you’re driving your car or something. It might be very helpful because I can pass a lot of time doing something like that in my car. Good choices, but way too criticalThere are a lot of good topic choices here which I appreciate. I like the three parts of every lesson, but the vocabulary often kind of a joke and just a few words. They role-play where you get a report after this really not very helpful. In the last report, I had two positive sections and four negative ones! How’s that for discouraging! Poor function & ContentThis app is great if you’re already a fluent Spanish speaker, but if you’re a beginner, this will not help you advance any further pass where you are. It does not help you in learning new words or how to properly form sentences. The translation is terrible. everything is in Spanish so you don’t have any idea what’s going on most the time because there’s not English translations where there should be. I’ve been using this app for six months and spend most of my time lost and not understanding what’s going on and very frustrated at the end of lessons have given feedback to The as at the end of every single lesson there have been no changes made to update any of these issues. Its okay so far.I just started using this so I am trying to see how it is. So far I am having issues with some glitches. Can’t get past the introductory interviewI’m using a 12 inch iPad. It asked me if few questions about what language I speak and what language I want to learn. Asked me the reasons that I want to study this language. But there is no button to submit my responses in order to move onto the next screen.
