Best Movie OrganizationBeen using this app for the past couple of years. It’s solid. If you are a movie collector and want to keep track of everything the way you want too (very customizable). The visuals are awesome and the customer support is great too. So much easier to just show the app to someone and have them see the entire collection at hand. Its easy to work with as well in adding information. I hope they keep up the great work and continue in the future to still offer the 1x lump fee instead of the optional monthly subscription (which I am not a fan of). I rather pay the 1x fee once and then worry about that again the next large upgrade. To me that’s one of the big benefits since everything is going on a monthly or yearly subscription which is not great. So hopefully they continue that option. If your a movie collector this is the only app you’ll need to keep everything organized..AndyrevsVersion: 5.22

Great app but disappointed in new changesI have been a user of the Pro version of this app since the beginning and it truly is fantastic at organizing & keeping track of the titles in my collection! Why 4 stars? The recent changes in this version keep adding unwanted clutter to the movie info page. First it was these new “lists” - “Oh! Look your movie is included in 49 lists!” These lists are other user’s collections & groupings. Why would I care about that?? I don’t, but there is no way to turn that off. Worse, it is near the top of the page, below title image, and before all of my movie data. So, now I see they have added what amounts to advertising with a huge new banner under the already annoying “part of these lists” section! This new section is titled “Watch Alternatives” that has icons for every streaming platform where the movie can be found. Ummm, I already own the title. Why would I want to stream it from somewhere else? Both of these new, unwanted features add clutter to the page and means I have to scroll all the way down my screen to see my info, tags, etc. Make these new features optional with a setting and I will give back the 5th star!.TopdogrileyVersion: 5.21

Best in classI purchase every new version when it comes out ((blind faith). Have done so for many years - since the second version. And I tried several apps before making my decision. My collection as of today is 645 titles. This app manages them with no problems. Support is fast to act although there have been few reasons to do so in my experience. And I want to support that kind of business. My favorite update with this version is the speed of PDF reports. There were a couple issues initially. Best movie collection app but now with prn!This app needs to be 17+ now because it now introduces prnography to your collections. This app can easily be turned on by your child or yourself to allow prn titles and pictures to feed their addiction. Why go this unethical route? Quite disappointed to see this from a great app. I’ve been a fan for a long time and have upgraded every time happily but now kinda regret it. Don’t get me wrong, best app out there for recording movies collections but the mistake companies do is think they need to include prn to make something better. Also, This doesn’t have to do with my rating but I find the price increase in upgrading at half price is quite steep to upgrade again. So full price will be $30? Starting to lose me. The good: everything else. Great interface, easy adding, ability to contribute, able to add multiple copies now, good support, reporting, trailers attached. My requests to improve: contributing is not very user friendly with how to do it, being able to link your movie to the app like being able to go directly to iTunes or Plex or Vude, remove prn or make it incredibly hard to access, I don’t want to even tempt myself. A Must For Physical Media CollectionsI’ve been using My Movies for 4 or 5 years and it’s proved indispensable for my 1500+, and growing, collection of DVDs, Blu-rays and 4K discs. I also use it for movies I’ve purchased digitally. Prior to using My Movies Pro I often ended up buying duplicate titles because I’d forgotten I’d already bought them. Conversely it helps me cull titles I’ve upgraded to newer releases. One of the things I really love are the ‘Sort’ and ‘Filter’ features which offer a multitude of ways to look at my collection. For the Film CollectorIf collecting and watching movies is a hobby of yours, then this app is what you want. There is a free version as well as this paid pro version. The app is always being tweaked with improvements and enhancements. When folks gather at your house for movie night, instead of flipping through disks, you just pass the app around to settle on a title for the night. Own over 6,000 discs.This has helped me organize and sort through over 6,000 discs and digital titles I own. Yeah, I own more media than I’ll be able to watch before I die. I relate my life to movies and TV shows I’ve seen. For example I’m like Forrest Gump in that I was in the Army and had a Jenny. I’m like Water Boy in that my lesbian Sister’s friend Alicia, who had been in prison 7 years showed me her chichis, tata, hoo hoo, and buzzingas. I shouldn’t have but I liked it. She probably had herpes so it’s good I didn’t partake. Just looked against my will. One of my favorite appsOne of the best upgraded features is allowing multiple copies of the same 4k or blue disc from the same country. Before this upgrade I had to manually enter a disc title from another country in order to have more than one copy of the same 4k or blu ray disc, which I really hated because it distorted my collection. I also really really like how the filters allows me to view only the 4k titles, or 3D titles or titles with a specific aspect ratio, or titles with a specific audio track etc..Deed I DoVersion: 5.59

Great app but in needs Contact list access?Sorry, but I do not agree with your response. As I said, in my initial post, you can, as the developer , create a blank field where the user can enter the name of somebody a title is lent to. There is no need to access a contact list. I don’t understand why My Movies need to access my Contact list with all full and complete contact information (name, address, phone numbers and email addresses) if I want to change a movie status to Lent. I would rather be able to add a note showing who the movie was lent to. This is very disappointing..Gator5000eVersion: 5.59

Great for tracking!I have a constant growing collection of movies and it has really helped keep track of what I’ve already bought. The feature to log who I’ve loaned movies to has also been a godsend when it comes to getting my movies back from people I’ve lent them out to. Not as good as the previous versionOn the previous version, I never had any issues with showing the images of the cover of the movie I’ve added. With this version this Is the only main issue I have! Best cataloging appI tried several different softwares to catalog my growing collection of movies and television. This is hands down the best ever. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I am a Mac user. It is still very difficult if not impossible to make additions/collections to the database without a windows machine. Before I would lend out a movie and never see it again, I would look all over for it and remember I had lent it out but not who I lent it to. Now too expensiveI’ve owned MyMovies app since its development. Each time a new version comes out (every 2 years) it’s getting more expensive without noticeable improvement. Like everything else, greed is rampant with companies.
