You can play for free without spending money, but, your ability to advance and succeed will be severely limited. Several of the players that have a lot of disposable income, have multiple accounts and rule over several alliances within a state. After a while they purge the players from two different alliances to create a single, stronger alliance. Those that are weaker are placed into a “learning alliance”. Just a nice way of removing people that don’t have the resources to continue to play at the same level as those that have the financial advantage. The game is very addictive and if you don’t watch out you will spend more money than you ever expected. Players regularly quit the game because of the cost of succeeding. Fun, but the game support & creators are scammersThis game is a lot of fun, with great players. But don’t ask the support team for assistance in anything. They will come up w excuses and lies on why they won’t assist, or they’ll just stop responding. They create situations where you either have to spend money or resources to obtain items to assist you in the game. One item, as an example, is a shield. These are integral to be used to protect your HQ during server wars. Previously, during these wars, they allowed us to teleport back to anywhere in our servers FOR FREE. They realized that they could get more money from players, by forcing us to use advanced teleporters (which require we use diamonds, our alliance coins, or money to purchase diamonds). Either way, it’s using up our resources. The only other option therefore is to accept their automatic teleport back into our hive. Because we were in a fierce server battle, and there was still an enemy in our server, before returning to my server, I used my shield. The game dropped me right into the war zone (brown area near the capital) and caused me to immediately lose my shield within seconds. When I sent screenshots and demanded to be reimbursed, they responded first that I caused my own shield to break (lie - the screenshot clearly indicated it was the teleport into the war zone), then they pivoted and said it was my alliances fault bc our alliance point was NEAR the war zone. This is just one example of the way this game tries to get you to pay more (apart from the daily ads w the misleading % off promotions - the prices never change. There is no actual discount.). An A.I infested game, but addictingIf you’re familiar with apps like Game of War: Fire Age or Walking Dead: Survivors— that is essentially what you’re getting in this app too. The difference however is stark and very noticeable when compared to the previous games mentioned. For what it is worth, the game is truly fun and addicting when you finally get into the loop of it, but it’s the A.I generated content and images that take away from what is otherwise an enjoyable experience. It’s obviously being developed by someone who doesn’t have the means or resources to implement their own ideas and content without resorting to the use of A.I to help them do so. With that said, the core gameplay resembles that of the games mentioned but also contains in it what you see on their ludicrous advertisements— it’s a lot like their ad, which is a good thing, but also strangely not? Either way, the game isn’t falsely advertising itself anymore and it’s apparent that the developer WANTS to try and make something work here. I should also mention that the heroes in the game are so bizarre and strange that it makes me wonder if this developer might have some kind of kink or fetish towards women that is obviously skewed way too much, as there is an entire section of the game dedicated to “Love Texts” which is just straight up weird and has no place in where the game goes, but I digress. With everything said and done, you’ll get the appeal and enjoyment from building your base and working with alliances to become stronger overall, but it’s the A.I generated content and NSFW-style of the themes and characters that really irk me and the time I spend on the game. Addictive Game PlayThe game is fun and addictive. You can easily spend hours playing it. I like that you are playing with other players from around the globe and you can talk back and forth regarding any subject and strategy. The only problem with the game is a bug in the Alliance Shop of the game. You spend coins/tokens to buy items and you don’t get the items that you purchased but the coins are gone. I send an email to their support team and will see if I get a response. Other than that I love the game and have recommended it to some friends. You can play for free or pay for a lot of different things. The prices go from .99 cents and upwards. I have bought a couple inexpensive things. But considering I have only been playing a little over a week now and the game is fun the couple things really helped me out with it. If you download it beware that you have to figure out what you’re doing because there’s not much in the way of instructions for play. But it’s not that difficult. Shockingly not Pay to WinLet me preface this by saying that this game does indeed have a lot of optional micro transactions, but you honestly don’t need to do them. I’ve been playing this game for about 300 hours now. Going on 3 months. While at first this was because I was bored, I ended up really engaged in the game. The game is paced quite well. I have only spent $24 since I started playing this game and I would’ve been completely fine without it. The devs are very communicative in discord and always are paying attention to player feedback. Game has regular updates. The reason you don’t really need to spend any money is because the game throws so many resources at you for very little work. I have several heroes completely 5 starred and that’s just from me logging in for 30 min to an hour a day and completing things. All the paid epic weapons, purples, upgrade material: it’s all available to get with very little frustration. The game does slow down a bit, but it’s nothing like I’ve seen from other games. Even as a free to play player you can more than keep up with other players. If you feel like spending money to speed things up, this dev absolutely deserves it. Lovely game/scamI put 5 stars so this gets more attention as they like to cover up bad reviews. This is honestly a fun game at first, not at all what the adds make it out to be though. I ended up playing and building for a while. Once more serious I spent some money. Like literally $100, and that barely gets you anywhere. Many are spending $1000 plus and you can’t really compete without matching that. Anyway I had some glitching issues, contacted suport and didn’t hear back for 48 hours. So I went on the App Store and requested a refund. I did not get the money back but it triggered “auto-lock” so now my $100 and 100s of hours of building are locked up unless I pay them another $100 even though I did not get my money back. It is a good game..With a pretty fun and active community and team-based activities as well as tons of solo stuff. But the main “story line” path is over quite quickly, after that it’s a huge slow down in how quickly you can collect recruitment tickets and other important items. Also, I removed an entire star solely because I can’t stand when advertisements and screenshots of a game only show one small/tiny mini-game, with no context or explanation. This game is not about “running down the center” and “moving left and right for powerups”. Though it does have these activities, they are not what makes up 80% of the game, they’re maybe 8-12% of the games content and activities. Why not post screenshots of people’s HQs and the big server map? Show the team battle and ‘VS’ event. Show the Fury Lord fight and zombie battles too. Definitely not what I was expectingSo yeah, a zombie shooter game with a cool story, great graphics, and more melons than the produce aisle at your neighborhood grocery store. I have been very active, recommended the game to others, and I have even spent real money in the game because I truly like it. However, I am writing to report a serious issue that occurred today. While I was in the Recruit Refugees section, the option “Try Your Luck – 500 Diamonds” was activated automatically without my intention. As a result, 10,000 diamonds were deducted from my account. I did not intend to purchase these worker cards at all, and unfortunately, they are completely useless for me at this stage of the game. This appears to be a bug or unintended activation, as I did not confirm or deliberately trigger multiple purchases. Losing such a large amount of diamonds is extremely frustrating, especially for a new and active player. Bugs/glitchingGood game , okay graphics, but the glitching closed really throws me off with this game!!! The fact we cant skip through the animation of some like the villa. we should also be able to build more training camps at this point, if its going to take that ling to train! Surprisingly goodI’ve played numerous base-builder app games, but this one is something of a hidden gem. Generally speaking, I am NOT the kind of person who plays these beyond an immediate desire to kill boredom - but Last Z has so many factors working in its favor that its hard not to love it. My favorite part are the communities I’ve met. Very easy to make international friendships as the internal translator is quick and accurate! For real, one of the best international gaming experiences I’ve had, and that dynamic makes this game something of a secret gem in my book. Loads of players of all nationalities and backgrounds! Not BadGreat graphics, but man does this game eat the battery up so plan on staying close to a charger. You do fight zombies but it’s not just killing zombies, you build a base and have to upgrade the things in it while playing challenges. You’re going to have to join an alliance as they call it in order to make any real progress as you do challenges and get a piece of everything your alliance members get, plus 27 people can help you by helping reduce the time it takes to upgrade and heal your troops, each help you get reduces upgrade time by two minutes. Each alliance can have up to 100 people in it from all over the world, luckily the game has a translator in it but would be nice if it would automatically translate as you have to click a button for each message to translate. Once you get to lvl 16 it starts getting hard to get resources and it takes a while to upgrade things because the things you need to upgrade cost more resources and time, plan on spending a lot of time trying to figure things out, but if you join a good alliance they can help you, it’s information overload for a while, only saving grace for me was I was on vacation when starting so I had time..Kiowa69Version: 1.250.691

If you aren’t 5 and can get over all the women being in slightly revealing outfits then the gameplay isn’t too bad except 2 things I’d like for the devs to fix. 1. Please fix the difficulty scaling of Spec Ops. Despite it being the most similar to what is shown in the ads, it’s near impossible to actively enjoy without getting extremely lucky due to the enemies having health bars which takes away from the fun. 2. Good to Start, Terrible EndgameThe game starts off strong. I do not want to repeat what everyone else said in their reviews but I’ll cover the key points. Graphics are pretty good, the game you see in ads is present but within a larger base builder game. In the beginning it’s satisfying levelling up, building your base, acquiring new heroes, joining an alliance and participating in activities. However after about a week or so you’ll having likely played all the mini games/activities multiple times and will have a wall in levelling up as you will struggle to get more resources as higher level players constantly raid you as it’s the only form of entertainment left for higher level players. On one hand you’ll want to level up to stop the attacks but on the other hand you cannot because the players who pod real world money into this game will constantly take what you have. New ways to make you payIt’s a great game, truly it is, but every time you look up there is a new event that entices you to want to spend a little. It always starts off with a flush of goodies and by the end of day two you have to pay in order to feel that euphoric feeling once again. That’s not the problem, I get it, it’s not just a game to the creators. Keep the events coming, I do enjoy them. What I do not enjoy, and I am sure everyone who plays would agree, is the decision to take away the mining fields 5 days out of the week! I suppose someone was thinking of ways to force players to spend more on experience points and not just shards and this was an option that was brought forward. It should have been thrown out! Of course it’s not pay to play, it’s pay to stay, stay competitive that is. That doesn’t mean you rob players of what you’ve already given freely. You are suppose to add to the game, not take away. It’s the same as saying you are taking away the Fury Lord half the week and that means the rewards that come along with it. You’re taking away level 6 farming stations to give the heros a day to rest. On holiday you are closing down the intercity truck routes, do you see? Beyond disappointed with this decision! If you want players to spend more on experience points have a monthly exp sprint. Top 10 in a week once a month get rewards. Scammy game and devsThis is a classic gacha game that is similar to other popular games like clash of clans, but with the added element of zombies and the ever-so-popular shooter minigame that is shown as the app icon. The game starts off well enough, you get a fairly decent campaign with the shooter minigame while you build up your base and heroes, but before long you end up in the world of multiplayer where if you aren’t in the right clan, you’re mince meat. Well I’ve been in a top 3 clan basically the entire time I’ve played the game, or at least top 10. So I’ve had no issues being attacked relentlessly like other players have complained about. However, what I do take issue with is the harassment in the way of fraudulent mass reports that’s gotten countless innocent accounts muted and terminated. Basically if you don’t toe the line with certain groups, whether inside your server or not, they’ll mass report you over and over again resulting in increasingly severe punishments. When brought to the attention of the developers, they turn a blind eye again and again. Sure you might be able to get a couple hundred hours of gameplay out of it, but ultimately you will need to open your wallet to be competitive (top players spend hundreds USD daily), and the developers are notorious for horrible customer service even aside from the fraudulent mass reporting issue. Greedy money grabber with no customer support1. The ads they show and the pictures here on App Store shows a tiny tiny part of the game. It’s not a jungle player game. This is like a Temu/wish version of better games like Whiteout Survival or Clash of Clans type game. 2. They charge you for basic things like in events, if you want to great the prize for higher level even though you have to do the work of upgrading items to even reach that achievement, then they force you to spend money to upgrade something else just to reap the reward that you already had to do something else to earn. 3. As greedy as they are, they make you pay for every little thing but have almost non existing customer support when we report bugs. They have bugs during events which causes you not able to complete the event and does not respond till the event is over so you lose your progress or chances to get the prize you would have gotten if the event worked normally. Then they MAY OR MAY NOT throw you a tiny compensation so small that it makes no difference. As in, we get way more just playing normally. 5. No Answer from Customer ServiceI have been playing the game for weeks with minor problems but after this new update everything has went wrong. I played a mini game and my rewards were not showing collected, I bought a diamond package to play the game and lost my rewards and my money for what did not add, I also looked and seen half of my military troops were taken and on this I spent money on resources to earn them. I was doing research and my research completed but did not load as showing it had processed as finished. After the issue with the mini game I contacted Customer Care and they still have not reached out to me and it has been almost two days. I actually really loved the game and that is why I left some stars there but to have an issue like this a no one reach out to you to fix it makes me worried that spending money here on the game can be a dangerous thing and you may lose your money. OH WOWI kept seeing ads for this game and thought it would be something simple and fun. Wow, was I wrong. The disappointment started as soon as I downloaded it—before even getting past the loading screen. In my opinion, this game is strictly for adults. The women in the game (which you don’t realize until after downloading) are half-naked—and that’s me putting it nicely. There are side missions where you’re sent to find these women and actually buy them less clothing than they already have on. There’s also a phone feature where the male protagonist contacts these women, clearly implying romantic or sexual relationships. While the men aren’t shown as often, they’re sexualized as well. I honestly wish I were exaggerating. What I expected to be a zombie-killing game with a unique twist turned into something completely different. I hate how everything seems to be over-sexualized these days when all I want to do is enjoy a game. On top of that, progression is clearly paywalled. Not worth it for a new gameThis is my 1st mobile game, aside I was duped from the advertisement that is was mainly a left/right game I thought I would give it a shot. This is a war base game. You must buy the 2nd lab if you want to complete research certain tabs. They screw you on the points you earn, for instance. Predatory game that relies on pay-2-win, FOMO, Gatcha, and social pressure.The devs have mastered exploiting human psychology. Early game you will spend a dollar here and there and get some great perks, but later on, things will get very expensive and if you dont keep spending, you will be underpowered compared to your peers. If you want to be a force, then expect to spend $40 a week. However, No matter how much you spend, you will get stomped by whales, many of whom spend hundreds a day since there is no cap to how much you can spend. The game keeps you hooked not because it’s fun, but using FOMO mechanics. You have to check into the game constantly for time limited events or you will miss out on resources. Every event has a slot machine mechanic that will keep those who love to gamble glued. Lastly, like every game with a social component, you will meet some great people in the game. But if you zoom out, you are just in a game with others who are addicted to the exploitive game mechanics, rather than the game itself. If you played it without paying for anything it would take almost 2 years to get the elite troops which is what will get you ahead besides the hero’s. Toxic afEvery server I know of is overrun by at least one person who is what most people would define as toxic. Racist and is overall horrible to deal with admits that she wants to kill the server multiple times over and over daily we hear about how she wants to kill. The server has been reported literally thousands of times with no resolution never even once chat banned. The most efficient way to do that is attack other people. The game then becomes the strong preying on the weak: the low level weaker players build up their strength and resources for the benefit of the stronger players. At HQ Level 20, if you’re attacked by a more powerful person, it reduces your power from troop loses, which could take up to 2 days to heal. Initially fun but ultimately futileThe game starts out pretty fun, alternating between base building and combat missions. Eventually the game shifts to a lot of PvP combat with other bases attacking you to gain resources. The problem is that the game does not penalize very high level players from attacking very low level bases. A level 20+ base can teleport their base into the middle of a fledgling alliance of bases 5 to 10 levels lower and just decimate everyone. There is no mechanic in the game to lower the resources they obtain from lower bases or to prevent them from attacking each base multiple times. My level 16 base with 15M power was attacked so many times by a level 20 with 30M power that my headquarters was completely destroyed and auto teleported somewhere else on the map.
