Life-Altering App ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I am 34 and 2 years post recovery from a very traumatic marriage that included serious spiritual and psychological abuse. I needed help regaining my alignment with the truth of God’s Word. It was a true struggle to sit and read at the time I started using Duomo. I wanted to heal my codependent wounds and saw an ad for Duomo. I took the leap and subscribed and the last 4-5 months of using the app daily has helped me establish my true footing again in Christ. It all came in bite sized teachings that engaged my very overwhelmed brain. It helped me slowly begin to see where all the spiritual abuse had attacked and fractured my view of Jesus, God and my faith. Thankfully Duomo has been a piece of my recovery and I no longer deal with cPTSD flashbacks routinely, my waking anxiety and very harsh inner critic have lessened dramatically. I am now able to recall and recite scripture from memory that I thought would never return and as someone who has read the entire Bible cover to cover, my grasp of reality and the truth has been restored! I truly believe it is the way Duomo is paced and delivered as to why I was able to relearn and train truth into my mind again. Simple & PowerfulI’m loving this app and the format of this study. The power of the lesson is compact and simple, making it easy and doable for me. But more importantly, I have such good, thoughtful application to think on all day. It’s very nourishing for me and not overwhelming at all. I love the format with a gentle prayer, a lesson, a quick quiz, a place of application to consider, then followed up with a place to jot down my insights and intentions. I’ve found it to be very effective in my relationship with the Lord. Feeling closer to Him to than I have in a long time. There’s also a great search feature that helps me dive into more encouraging scripture and thoughtful insight on days when I want to dig deeper. Best online study I’ve participated in. It doesn’t replace the deeper inductive studies, but it enriches my heart and has made a big difference in how I start each day. I started this to learn more about the Bible…I’ve have tried finding Bible studies and people seemed to forget about having Bible studies where I live. However I really do enjoy doing these daily classes. And taking the quizzes. Yes they become more challenging which means that I need to pay close attention to what I’m reading. It also has the Bible and almost done with The Book of Genesis. Before I could only read the chapter. But now I need this so I can become more God Like. I really want to go to Heaven and be around my family once again and greeted my little man my first forever Pup. I miss him so much. Wonderful appThis app has been a great resource to helping me get back in the word. Since this app, along with other spiritual practices, such as prayer, church, reading the word with Bible in one year with Nicki and Pippa Gumble , and speaking and being around my church family. It has helped a whole bunch. It is never a bad idea to use a Bible study this one just happens to be more detailed, and digs a bit deeper than the traditional free apps, not that those aren’t good bc they are. It all depends upon your hunger to know more of God and the posture of your heart as you begin to dig deeper. Just keep in mind that enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy, so don’t be surprised when you feel distracted when you attempt to get in the word, the Bible in one year along with the other practices helps you get grounded in truth. It takes time and persistence. Pls don’t give up. You should be in heaven too, just stand firm in who you are in Christ and fight the spiritual battle with the whole armor of God that Jesus gives us. We don’t fight for victory, we fight from victory, bc Jesus conquered sin, death and the grave. I’m still a work in progress but I’m so much further than I was. It is good to stay humble and talk to those you trust , bc prayer is a powerful weapon and it is not a small part, it is major and we are to pray for one another. So when your struggling with things speak up, we’re in this fight together, we fight the good fight, and we will finish the race strong, don’t fret just practice those spiritual tools I spoke of daily to some degree and never give up and God will continue to fight for you regardless, it’s just easier when we ain’t running from Him. Too busyMy spirit was urging me to read and study but I just thought that I didn’t have enough time to do meaningful studies and therefore I kept putting it off. But with this app I have been learning and growing in my spiritual walk with God. I only listen a few minutes each morning but I can meditate on the teachings during the day while I’m working. When I skip a day of listening it seems like I struggle all day but when I stop for just a few minutes first thing in the morning, I feel good and more productive all day. In the beginning I knew the things that were being taught and wondered if it was really going to help me but I hung in there and by the second week there were bits and pieces that I really needed to learn. DisciplineI have been a Christian my entire life, but there was a season where I simply wasn't feeling close to God. Am I a prodigal son?As a lay Pastor, I had moved and had to leave the large church I belonged to. My wife and I had learned so much. In the small church we joined had an amazing Pastor leading it. Repairing a broken heart with God.I experienced a devastating divorce and then entered a relationship of secret that ended up with walking through cheating on his part. This app kept popping up in my feed and I genuinely thought I didn’t wanna pay for another subscription to something. But the timing and with finding out what I did it was an act of desperation to find a way to heal. I’m the type of person that will start a journal and not pick it up again for a year. Always GraspingI have struggled for almost 40 years at grasping for love, validation, attention, approval and acceptance. 29M Few days used honest review.The Facebook advertisement was pretty consistent and finally I just gave in and began free trial, I figured I’d just cancel it before the free period is up if I didn’t find it useful… particularly what peaked my interest was about parenting. Genuinely Worthwhile DevotionAt first I thought this would be another unthoughtful and hastily made app trying to profit on those of faith. But still, I pressed on to try it because I just haven’t found a good app that helps me build my faith daily through tailored scripture, lesson, and reflections based on where I am in my journey. So worth the money!My boyfriend broke up with me and that threw me in deep depression and lots of anxiety. This app literally saved me. There are amazing Bible verses incorporated into really good messages. If you’re struggling trusting God with your future, constantly anxious, or depressed this is an amazing app. Side note: there are 4 categories: spiritual growth with 112 days, attachment healing with 21 days, purify your mind with 21 days, and trauma healing with 28 days. You are able to do one lesson from each category a day. All of them are super helpful but kind of hidden. You have to click a drop down button to see them all. I didn’t notice there was more than one category and missed almost a week of the other devotionals which is disappointing because I only bought the month plan so I can’t finish those. Building relationship with JesusThroughout my life, I have struggled to get to know Jesus. I’ve opened up my Bible multiple times. And struggle to understand. Daily Reed and LearningI bought this app to learn and memorize so that I could share the stories of Jesus and I wanted to hear the stories of the beginning from Adam to Noah to to us where we are now that’s what I’ve seen on the TV. I was hoping to get those stories from beginning till now and also the stories of Jesus that is what I’m interested in. A very strong faith I trust in God I love the Lord. I want to know the stories and I don’t know how this app can get them to me like it if you can direct me another path in the app that would be greatly appreciated to learn the stories of Jesus and the stories of Adam and Eve to Noah to the lion stand to David all those stories. I love itEver since I’ve started this app, I have loved it. I’m only giving it a 4/5 stars because I absolutely love it so that gets a 5, but some people (like me) just can’t afford to pay their subscription for every month. I wish I could do this for the rest of my life, but after the first 4 weeks it goes to like 40 bucks a month!?! I could kinda understand the 20 they charge for the first 4 weeks, but 40? I wanna grow my relationship with God, and I think this would be a great way to start that, but I can do just as well growing my relationship with him by reading the Bible and listening to a podcast or something. Day 3Wow, this is so much better than I was expecting. When you see ads on social media, either they really call you or they kind of call you and you try it out anyway because the price point is on budget. Insightful and reflectiveThis platform is a trip to the therapist without the hefty cost. Deceiving and MisleadingWhen I first heard about this app, it was through an ad on either Instagram or TikTok promoting that this app was “free” and helped with consistency in your walk with Christ. I really liked the idea so I downloaded it. After going through this whole process of putting in my information, creating an account, and then basically taking a survey about what areas I wanted to focus on to personalize my plan, I’m taken to a page where I have to choose a subscription. From what I had gathered from the ad, this was supposed to a free app, so imagine my confusion. Not only that, but the subscription plans are expensive and there isn’t even an option to use a “free version” with limited features or anything of that nature, and the free trial that I was offered was only for 3 days. Needless to say, pretty disappointed. If the app is subscription based and not actually free, why is it being promoted as free? Because it’s free to download? That’s deceiving. The moment a person downloads this app, they should be given the subscription screen first so that they can make a decision if they want to pay and therefore continue, rather than have them go through this whole process of creating a personalized plan and then telling them “are you going to commit to your plan?” only to then say “oh yeah, you actually gotta pay to even access the plan you just created.”.Snk_2000Version: 2.9

Stealing MoneyI downloaded this app to try it, and payed $7 for a 1 week subscription. I don’t enjoy paying money to read God’s word, but I thought I’d give it a try. Assuming that the subscription just rolled over I emailed the customer support explaining that I didn’t want this plan, I just wanted my money back. New Version 6.0.0 More RestrictiveI have been using this app and receiving so much help from it since October 2025. With the new 6.0.0 update, however, the user experience has not improved, but become more restrictive. For example, in previous versions, users were able to go through the devotions at their own pace, doing as many as desired at a time. With the new update, users are restricted to one devotion per day, which must be completed in order to “unlock” the next devotion. This is giving gaming. As a paid user, I prefer not to be restricted with how I move through the app and modules, what is the purpose? In addition, access to previously completed modules post new update are also difficult to access & many journaling entries have disappeared. Journaling prompts have become more generic and not tied specifically to the devotion with the new update. Not sure why, but the new update feels much less personal and restrictive. Not so healingMaybe I’m different than most people reviewing this app. I love the Bible and enjoy any enriching delve into it. I came to this app through an ad on Instagram or Facebook. It spoke of narcissistic abuse and how to heal from it with the Lord and the Bible. Sounded perfect to me. The devotionals had some wonderful, strengthening qualities, however, I hesitate to even give it two stars because of how victim blaming it was. Each day, you are asked to face and repent for something you had done, were doing, or a personality trait you supposedly embodied which invited the abuse. This is highly toxic, and although I’m sure for some, they might connect to it, or do these things, for many, it is just adding more gaslighting and blame to what they’ve already suffered. Best avoid this oneI decided to try out Duomo and it’s okay. The devotionals and resources are pretty lackluster for what you pay, ultimately it’s better to just stick with free Bible apps. This does appear to be a scam to some degree. Duomo doesn’t do subscriptions like other apps, where the subscription appears in your Apple settings. When you decide to stop using it, you have to cancel the subscription in app. This is so that if you delete the app and then check your subscriptions under settings, it looks like you already unsubscribed. This is purposefully done as Duomo also doesn’t inform you when they’ve charged you or when your subscription renews. They rely on continuing to charge you without your knowledge. If Paypal hadn’t warned me, I wouldn’t have even known I still had a subscription. Then they try to get you to settle for a 50% refund.
