Subscription OnlyI was really hoping this app would be like the LEGO Disney app. There is an option to just pay to unlock each map and not pay for a subscription because sometimes we use it and sometimes we don’t so paying for a monthly or yearly subscription for something we don’t use every month is excessive but we will gladly pay five dollars to unlock a map and play with it for a while. But this game has no option to unlock a map without paying for the monthly or yearly subscription. There is no price to just unlock the one or two that you want. I hope this changes because it’s the thing I really love about the Lego Disney app is that we can just choose to unlock what we want to when we want to. It’s always a special treat for my daughter when we unlock a new one for her. We love Bluey in this house but I don’t want to pay $5 a month for it. Everything is a subscriptionI downloaded this thinking it might be worthwhile for my son. However, there is no way I’m going to pay upwards of $40/year for a game. We have been caught in that trap before on other games (not made by this developer). We pay to “remove ads” only to have stealth ads slipped into the game; ads that are NOT age appropriate.
