They have some videos but I’ve gotten a lot of just the audio versions and that works for me so I can listen to it while I’m doing things. AI true crimeI enjoy listening to the true stories, but it’s definitely written by AI. I wouldn’t mind this as much if they would check the stories before posting them. Utterly disappointingSaw it on Instagram looked promising so I decided to download the app. Not saying this is their problem, but I went through many of issues with my Apple account while trying to download this app I was very determined. Only to create an account sign in and everything, none of my stories would play. It kept telling me that I had to purchase a package or start a free day trial I am very perturbed with the way the developer has brushed off everybody else else’s negative reviews because this is the same problem….A LOT…of people have when downloading this app. I will be deleting the app and suggest nobody else puts it on their phone. TerribleI really wanted to like this app but I’m sorry I paid $40 for it at this point. The AI narrator voices are horribly glitchy and unrealistic, and sometimes just say random things while telling the story. A few times lately the app just shuts down before the story is over and I have to go back into it and find where I was. Underneath the romance section there’s one I wanted to listen to called The Perfect Neighbor but every time I click on it, it plays The Retreat. Disappointed!!The videos I saw recommending this app claimed you could watch episodes, but that’s not really the case. There are quite a few episodes but only about 10 are actually watchable — the rest are audio only. Even after paying for a subscription, you can only use it on the same device you subscribed with. When I tried to access my paid subscription on my iPad instead of my phone, it asked me to pay again! I reached out to customer support and never received a response. Unable to save stories / cannot use same account on iPadThis isn’t a very good app or business model. As I played one story, the episodes started over playing each other. Had to exit and restart, issue is persistent. Unable to sign in with same account on iPad as it is making me sign up with a new account. This should be one account on all platforms. Probably the most idiotic, I saved about 10 stories. Not one saved in my account! It shows my queue to be empty. Zero SupportI signed up and paid for an annual subscription back in September through my Apple account. Apple subscriptions shows that I’m subscribed and tells me when my next payment is due. TrueShort hasn’t recognized my subscription, and thus is trying to get me to sign up and pay for another one. This means I don’t have access to the content I’ve paid for. I’ve made repeated attempts to contact TrueShort’s support team, but all of them have went unanswered. I’m literally paying for nothing.
