Conduit: OpenWebUI Client Positive Reviews
Good app. Wishing for a bit more featuresThe app itself is very simple and clean to use. A lot of the features or options in OWUI are missing (as expected) but I do wish there was at least an option to add a system prompt (like in OWUI). Slash prompts are okay but system prompts seem a lot more effective as they are pinned and cannot be overridden. I’d give the app a 5 if the feature was there. But until then I might stick to using OWUI as a web app instead..Version: 2.6.8
Great app, only missing a bit QoL featureThis is much better tha the default PWA version. Tool calling works, and the theme customization is a very nice feature. However, there are no action function buttons in this version, and markdown table on this app also doesn’t have line wrap just like the WPA version. If the author can add these then the app is a clear 5/5 for me.Version: 2.4.3
Awesome appThis is a great and easy companion app for OWUI. Originally I thought it was released by the OWUI team. But the developer took effort to make this app easy to use. Hope to see more features added to the app in the future. Already you can do web search, knowledge base query and mcp tool connect. I hope he can somehow make this to be like a local ai agent where I can send queries to the app and be more like an assistant..Version: 2.2.2
Great Concept, Needs Better ImplementationI bought the app knowing it wouldn’t be top tier but right now not even the web search function works (it does in the actual webui though) so I cannot really recommend the app till then, would happy to update my review once this is fixed!.Version: 1.1.6
Clean and UsefulMuch prefer this to creating a web app shortcut! It plays nice with Tailscale and other than that it just works. The skin options are cool too :) Only feedback I have is it seems like you’re unable to attach knowledge bases to conversations or view/manage memories..Version: 2.4.3
Very nice.UI could use some touch ups, and hopefully implement Liquid Glass soon. Please implement a donate option as well as I’d like to keep this project active. I tried making an app for myself to connect to my OpenWebUI instance and I could not get chat history to persist across the WebUI and App so bravo to beating me to it LOL..Version: 1.1.6
Amazing appIt runs smoothly and is easy to setup if your Open WebUI is setup correctly. The devs did an amazing job! My only wish is that web search would stay on all the time. It’s gets disabled every time I close and reopen the app..Version: 2.6.4
Great App, but this is a must!First, thank you to the developer for proving this medium of interactivity with self-hosted OpenWebAI solutions. Second, this app desperately needs a paste as image when copying to clipboard within the prompt field. I use that quite frequently across my AI day-to-day usage. Definitely a must have! For now … I’ll live..Version: 2.2.0
Just Works!Routing from my iPhone using Tailscale to Conduit and OpenWeb UI on my server I’ve had very stable results. Some rendering issues with choosing a specific knowledge base in OpenWeb but sure that is a bug on their end for mobile..Version: 2.4.4
Fixed ImmediatelyDidn’t work when I installed it. Gave it a one star. Hours later it works. If my review triggered the fix, that’s impressive turnaround.Version: 2.2.6
An exceptional client.I would appreciate an option in the settings to toggle the visibility of the model selector and title at the top. My goal is to focus purely on the dialogue with the AI, and currently, these header elements make the interface feel overly cluttered..Version: 2.4.1
Excellent option for the local hostsI have access to a pretty beefy server, but didn’t really use it from my phone because the mobile PWA is goofy. I like that this app collects no data, and surfaces your models very easily. There’s a good chunk of settings that are omitted in OWUI, but that reduction is what makes this so clean. Nice work, thank you for keeping it simple..Version: 2.5.6
Works perfectlyFantastic job developing this companion app for OpenWebUI. It works beautifully and it’s updated constantly..Version: 3.3.0
Just what I neededI needed a client to connect to my self hosted server, and this just worked right out of the box. Love it!.Version: 2.1.7
The chat feature doesn’t work wellGreat app, but I can’t converse to it like I want to.Version: 2.4.1
Fixed my bugsBug fixed on GitHub issue.Version: 2.5.2
Good but forgets custom headersMy server is behind Cloudflare zero trust and I use service credential headers to authenticate. These are supported but the app forgets them so they have to be constantly recopied, which is a pain..Version: 2.5.6
Good iOS port of Open WebUISo far I am mostly pleased with this iOS version. The only thing I would recommend is the ability to add more than one connection. I would like the ability to connect locally and through Tailscale away from home..Version: 3.3.1
Excellent Mobile ClientThis app is an exceptionally good client for OWUI and is complete with secure authentication and an extremely usable UI. Great work..Version: 1.1.6
Does not support OIDCWould love to try it but my instance is behind an oidc oauth provider (authelia) and it wont redirect to the oauth login. Perhaps a toggle to indicate oauth so when login is clicked it just redirects there.Version: 2.2.6
Great app, dev is quick to fix bugsThis app is much better than the PWA. UI is on par with ChatGPT app..Version: 2.0.3
Dipped in quality recentlyI miss native apps.Version: 3.2.0
Great AppGood.Version: 2.3.4
So far pretty goodGreat to have. One minor bug report, the session resets randomly so you might to re-login. One feedback, maybe make the iPad version additional space to write notes, comments for the end user after each feedback I.e. allow the end user to annotate. But so far it’s great until I find more bugs or feedback..Version: 2.5.2
Great app!Very handy for bringing your self-hosted LLMs on the road. A few minor hiccups, but the app looks to be under active development. Just one request: when opening a chat, it would be great if it opened at the bottom/latest message rather than at the start of the conversation. Otherwise great work!.Version: 2.1.9
Great for LocalWorks fantastic as a local client within your own home..Version: 2.4.3
