Customer serviceI subscribed to the one day pass because I had gotten reeled in by this story and the story was great but the story was incomplete and all of the stories that I watched on that one day pass were incomplete. They just leave you hanging. some people like stories like that I don’t so I tried to cancel, but I didn’t see anywhere to cancel my subscription before it renewed to go to a week pass. So the next day I was charged the 1999+ tax for a week subscription. I contacted customer service and when I tell y’all in 30 minutes. maybe less they had emailed me back they asked for some information to verify my account and they canceled and refunded my subscription. if you’re short story type of person but remember the short stories are incomplete so if you’re a short story type of person that likes to guess at the ending or make up your own ending, this is the perfect app for you, but I give them five star because the stories that I did look at were very interesting except for that one issue of them leaving me hanging and having to guess at the end I don’t like stories like that and I also give them five stars based off their customer service. My Honest Experience With StoryReelFirst things first: canceling your subscription is not straightforward.
The app does not provide a simple in-app cancellation option. Instead, I had to go to the Account section, then Feedback, to locate their email address. To request cancellation, they required my User ID, a screenshot of my account page, and my email address. After sending the information three times and going back and forth with customer support, they finally processed the cancellation.
To be fair, their customer service was responsive. Once they understood my request, the entire cancellation process took about 30 minutes.
Now for the dramas themselves.
I was disappointed to subscribe only to discover that many of the series were already available on Instagram. In some cases, the drama had just been released on the app, yet I had already seen most of the content through social media clips.
Another issue is the storytelling format. You'll often watch 10–15 short clips, get invested in the story, and then it abruptly jumps to a completely different drama just as things are getting interesting. It feels designed to keep viewers hooked while stretching out the release schedule.
Is it worth it? For me, no.
I suspect this approach works for some viewers, but I personally don't enjoy being left hanging for weeks waiting on new episodes. I've noticed other drama apps starting to adopt the same strategy—hooking viewers with a good storyline and then delaying the payoff.
The reason I'm giving StoryReel **3.5 stars** is almost entirely because of their customer support. While the cancellation process should be much easier, the support team was quick to respond, polite, and ultimately resolved my issue. Without that positive experience, my rating would have been considerably lower.
If you don't mind waiting between episodes and already enjoy short-form drama apps, your experience may be different. But based on my experience, I wouldn't subscribe again..Harmony258Version: 2.23.0

SCAMI had gotten into one short drama I wanted to watch. So I paid the $3.99 and it said that I can cancel any time. Anyways, I finished the drama and went to cancel the subscription and it says to go into your settings subscriptions and cancel it but it does not show up on there because they make you pay for the subscription on a third party website which won’t show up on your subscription list. So I contact customer service and they’re basically saying your account doesn’t exist or we can’t find your account even tho I included my UID, all my possible emails and screenshot proofs of it not only charging my account but that my storyreel account exists with the UID with my weekly pass trial subscription. Anyways we were going back and forth on this and I got irritated because all they could say was to list all my possible emails. I only have two and I included both. I literally watched 16 ads to watch 3 episodes. What’s even worse is that the ads are longer than the actual episodes. Glitchy and most stories end without being finishedStarted watching a story that was really good. Was roped in from an ad. In order to finish it, I made a purchase and then got to the “end” only to find it ended abruptly with zero finality to the story line. So I tried another, same thing. Tried another, same thing again! Almost all of the stories only have 20 “chapters” and almost every single one is incomplete. On top of this, the AI video, names and other details change chapter to chapter and is beyond glitchy.
