Wearcount is a simple, focused tracker for how many times you have worn and washed each piece of clothing. Tap once for a wear, tap once for a wash, and Wearcount keeps the count, calculates your cost-per-wear, and tells you when an item is due for the laundry.

It is not a closet planner, an outfit calendar, or a shopping app. It is a one-purpose utility for people who just want to know, at a glance, "have I washed this enough" and "how much have I actually gotten out of this jacket I paid too much for".

WHAT WEARCOUNT DOES
- Per-item wear and wash counters, with one-tap "+1 Wear" and "+1 Wash" buttons
- Optional photo from your Photo Library using PhotosPicker (no full library permission required)
- Per-category wash thresholds (Tee 3, Shirt 3, Sweater 10, Pants 5, Jeans 7, Outerwear 20, Dress 4, Other 5) you can customise in Settings
- Clear "Needs wash" badge whenever an item has been worn enough times to be due
- "Fresh", "Wash coming up", and "Time to wash" status messages on each item's detail screen
- Optional purchase price → automatic cost-per-wear that updates with each new wear
- Wardrobe stats: most worn, sleepers, best dollars-per-wear, wear-to-wash ratio, wears by category, total invested
- Filter by category or by needs-wash; sort by recent, most worn, least worn, or best cost-per-wear
- Friendly empty state plus three sample items on first run so the app is never empty

Wearcount has no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no subscription, and no developer backend. Your closet, wears, washes, and photos stay on this device. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to opt out of.

Wearcount is a paid App Store download with no extra purchases required after install. It is a small, calm clothing tracker that respects your time, your phone, and your privacy.
