Pill Alert Pro App Comments & Reviews

Pill Alert Pro Positive Reviews

Very helpfulEasy to use, helped me when both my son and I were sick and had to take a bunch of medicine..Version: 2.5.3

Best Medication ReminderThis app is great at reminding me to take my medications! I would never remember to take all my meds without it. And it keeps track of how many pills you have left, alerts you when you’re getting low, gives you a log of what you took and when. It can handle weird schedules easily; like this medication I take once every two weeks. You can also use it for family members. The app is stable and never crashes. I highly recommend this app!! It is way better than Apple’s new one. This app offers much more functionality..Version: 4.2

Great Pill ReminderI have been looking for a new pill reminder as the one I have is going to a monthly subscription and I am not going to do a monthly fee. This app is nice as you can sync to your iPhone which I did not have in my other one. Just been getting it all together and is going to be nice to only enter once. Thanks to the developer as bought both upgrades for $1.98..Version: 2.5.3

Too many adsThe ads are overwhelming, though they have toned them down since the last update (or maybe my adblocker is working?). I should not have to sit through an ad every single time I log a medicine. It’s also not the most intuitive app, and it’s not as feature rich as medisafe. It gets the job done, but with all the ads, I might as well just manually record my medications..Version: 3.0

Very good medication reminderI love using this medication app, it helps reminds me to take my meds on time and keeps track of the amount of pills left, and the history of meds taken, this is very helpful.Version: 5.0

Meets my expectationsThis a second medication app I have installed, the first only allowed up to two without upgrading with a fee. I glad to have this one, wake-up alarm and reminder are both functioning with satisfaction..Version: 2.5.3

Great app!!Been using this for several months, and we love this app! Works great, has all the features I could need. Highly recommend!!.Version: 2.5.3

Great appI use this app to keep my meditation organized. It works very well and helps me stay organized.Version: 5.0

Smart AppsKeeps you in time with your scheduled drugs. Good for aged parents reminding them when to take their drugs. Good for every one!.Version: 3.0

Amazing appLove I would never forget when to take my meds ever again. It even works with my Apple Watch.❤️✨.Version: 2.5.3

Very good appThe flexibility and simplicity makes this app an asset for anyone requiring to track medications with heart monitoring..Version: 4.0

Wonderful appThis app is wonderful for tracking your medications intake and reminding you it’s Time to take it..Version: 3.0

Pill AlertI find that is very useful for all types of meds, vitamins and supplements..Version: 2.5.3

AwesomeEasy to use. Great way to keep track of meds.Version: 2.5.3

GoodNice app but not 5stars, notification needs to be improved..Version: 2.5.3

Very good app! This is a great app (and I've tried many), especially the iCloud sync feature. Works very well on both my iPad and iPhone. Could possibly use a manual for ease in using it, but after a couple of hours, it's pretty easy to figure out. I like its simplicity; there is less to enter than MedHelper but that is a good thing because I prefer keeping my doctor visits and notes on Excel where I can access info from any device. Unlike MedHelper which kept a separate calendar (unnecessary and duplicative), there is no calendar feature nor detailed inputs for doctor or pharmacy names, phones and addresses. The "Upcoming" feature is nice, showing the next 12 hours and the pill counting is seamless; the "Taken" feature allows a choice of marking whether you took your med at the scheduled time or now, etc. Overall, this one is very good..Version: 2.4

Great AppIt's my favorite pill app!.Version: 5.0

Love itIndispensable for us.Version: 2.5.3

Seems to be workingI chose several medication log apps-I take a couple on an as needed basis and need to track how much I need them. I utilize a timer to ensure that I'm not taking too much but this allows me to see how frequently I actually do take them. None are as intuitive or as straightforward as I'd like but this one is becoming more clear. AARP has a very easy to use tracking system for other health aspects (blood pressure, glucose, pain, mood, weight and more) as well as a simple list of medications and supplements (can be easily entered by taking pictures of assorted bottles and boxes including OTC) but doesn't seem to have a log. I'll probably keep it and one like this in order to cover all my bases (until I recover from my injuries)..Version: 2.2

Very helpful and best I've found so far!Just got this a couple days ago and love this for both tracking and alarming my family's multiple supplements and medications. I bought the multiple user profile as well as no adds, both for 2 bucks, which is worth it! Such a helpful app and wish I found sooner! I'd love to see a few more enhancements though and id be extremely happy, including some already mentioned by others. My picks would be: 1. Mood tracking in a trendable manner and see if there are correlations to meds, supplements, or dosages. 2. Add brand of meds or vitamins as their own line item. I really like the back up features already built in and alarms on my apple watch! I also like that you can adjust times you took the meds if you were unable to update in the moment. Thank you! I also hope we can pull the raw data out at some point and merge with other health data we may have..Version: 2.2

But I'm ColorblindThis program has been most helpful, even throughout medication changes and dosage fluctuations, and I am very grateful it even exists. If I were asked for any opinions on any changes or additions though, there would only be two. First, I'm colorblind, and cannot always see things written over certain colors, so I would maybe grant an alternate option there. The only other possibility would be for those who do not have set time schedules...who might want to have an option to "take x-amount of hours after ____ pill". Just some ideas...still a wonderful program and excellent job!!!!💖💖💖.Version: 1.1

Great for forgetfulness!Love love love this app- can't find anything it doesn't do with very little searching for the function, and I would call myself somewhat bad at navigation of some computer things! I am super bad at doing something daily (even like remembering deodorant sometimes) so the alarm on this is extremely helpful. The only improvement would be to keep dinging me to take my pill until I actually do, because I am away from home frequently so two hours after the alarm, I may have trouble remembering! Has helped me out immensely tho, and so good I may just throw a deodorant ding on there for kicks...!.Version: 1.1

Takes Some Time to Set UpBut once you get a feel for the app, it gets easier to get going. Fantastic for setting up as many or few details as you may want with your scripts. Can be a little tedious set up each prescription, but once you do you're SET, Recommended for anyone who has to give or take a lot of regular meds, can remind you when your going to need refills, and is convenient even if you have a script for a week or. I'm still using the free version, the adds are small and I barely notice them, but still Plan on purchasing the full app as I already like it so much.Version: 2.2

Can't get in and out quicklyThe app gets being a medication reminder/log mostly right. Set up a list of meds, set up schedules for your meds, and Pill Alert will remind you when it's time to take them. I'm disappointed, though, that I can't just get in and out of the app quickly: - Taking a scheduled med requires two taps if I'm taking it on time. The app should presume that I've taken it just now and only require more than one tap if I need to change the time. - Taking a medication "as needed" requires (most of the time) four taps, since those medications are in a separate list. Also, taking a med "every nn hours" doesn't reschedule later reminders based on the time you took the medication (taking a drug scheduled for 7am at 7:15 should reschedule the next dose for 11:15 if taken every 4 hours), so the app isn't as accurate as it might be. Otherwise, it's a nice looking app that also--with an in-app purchase--will track medications for multiple family members. The ability to send medication lists and history by email is a nice touch, too..Version: 2.1.1

Almost 5 starsI've tried every pill reminder app and this is the only one I love. Perfect in almost every way. If they could have a setting in the schedule section where you could choose not to have any sound on but still have the notification on then I'd give it 6 ✨. I'd like to choose to have sound on some reminders but not others but still get the notification on the screen..Version: 2.5

Exactly what I neededI've not had any problems with it being slow. It does exactly what I need it to do - it helps me keep track of my prn meds - when, what, and how much I take. The only thing I'd like to see added would be routine meds as a group - for instance, everything I take every morning, instead of entering each one "taken" individually, I'd like to just log the entire bunch as taken all at once. Aside from that, I'm pretty satisfied..Version: 2.4

Good but new bug and could be betterI have used this app for a long time. It keeps good records and allows you to email your dr or yourself your record. I wish you had a place to record your INR where it was visible on the log sheet without opening each day. I record under notes at this point. In the last couple of months I can not enter my dose until after my alarm time because it closes as soon as it opens so I have been happier with the Coagu app now. I can see dose and INR on the calendar with total dose for the week..Version: 2.5.2

Excellent & UsefulEspecially like refill reminders and realtime inventory for multiple meds. Thanks !! Re Pharmacist's work around for dosage strength and mixed medication dosages: it probably would have been helpful if I had mentioned that in my initial review. I mention it now to affirm it has been a viable use for me since downloading some time ago. I use the app daily for 8 separate pills (3 different meds). No errors noted. All notifications sent..Version: 2.3

Really great app! This is a really great app. Worth the $.99 to get the ads off too. I'm using it for vitamins since I only have one prescription I am taking. I love it! I can load in the pills, quantity to take, time, and how many I have left to be reminded to reorder. Then it keeps a history of what I've taken by date. This company also has a water tracking app called water alert I bought and it's how I found this app. Both great apps..Version: 1.1

A very useful app!My husband takes a lot of medication. This app helps me keep track of what he has to take and when. He takes chemotherapy treatment every 3 weeks and sees a number of doctors. They always give me a sheet to update his medications. I give it back to them with my iPad and they just take the updates from the app. Saves us all a lot of time and trouble. Makes my job much more pleasant and easy..Version: 1.1

Home Health RN OpinionI set this up for my brother who is on multiple medications for management of pain related to cancer. While it takes some time to set up, it is working well. He gets reminded by the alert and can see when his meds are due. I can see wha he has taken and when. Tip- when I entered the name of the drug, I also wrote what it was for and what it looks like example Lyrica (nerve pain) red&white cap.Version: 2.3

Very good appI would say that this is a very good app. It has the ability to notify you when you're running low on meds and need a refill. I love the automatic alarms to schedule my meds when it's convenient for me. It is missing a few small things that would make it awesome. Little things like; this med schedule is about to end, do you want to extend? Yes/no. It would also be helpful if the schedule, when modifying the times and dates, that it defaults to today's date to ??? Date. Not defaulting to today's date will repeat the meds (ie tylenol once a day) from the last time you changed the schedule (a few months ago) to the specified end date..Version: 2.5.3

Schedule tab no longer worksIt crashes every time I try to use it..Version: 5.0

Incredible app with me for best 10 yearPill alert is the best! Helping me reminding me my pills every night. Best option instead of the iPhone alarm, which is hard to put on mute quickly (example at the movie). Thanks !.Version: 5.0

HelpsVery useful to remember if u taken ur pill yet or not because I always have a reminder when it’s time to take and it disappears only when I’ve said I’ve taken it. Also great for temporary medications that are harder to remember to take..Version: 5.0

Best Pill Tracking AppPill Alert is quite intuitive and great..Version: 4.0

Great app to follow your medicationsAs I am currently fighting cancer, this application greatly help me following the various medications I have to take. It is also very helpful at adjusting the changing schedules suggested by my physician..Version: 3.0

Does the jobWould be nice to have a picture and info about my meds automatically come up, such as known side effects..Version: 3.0

Good app.Reminds me on time but no second reminder which would be good. Keeps a nice record to show my Dr. Works well with the watch..Version: 2.5.3

Great appLove this app helps me keep track of my whole family's medication. Wish there was a way to keep track of amount of refills left on prescription..Version: 2.4
