Works well when wifi worksThe app worked great as long as the wifi worked on the ship. We went with our family and my youngest spent some time in the daycare. I really liked that the app showed if she was checked in or out of daycare and by whom. If my sister, wife or someone else on the list checked her out it showed the name of who checked her in or out and at what time. It also had the hours the daycare was open. Another cool part of the app was the scheduling and reserving events. When you reserve an event in person or in the app, carnival automatically pushes the scheduled event to everyone’s app and lets them know they have a reservation for a certain time and where it is. The app will remind you 15 minutes before the event to give you enough time to make it on time. I scheduled a dinner at the steakhouse (which I highly recommend) for a party of 12. (I had to go to the steakhouse to make the reservation since you can’t do more than 9 people within the app. I could’ve called too but I like to do things in person sometimes). A few minutes after reserving everyone, it pushed a notification to everyone’s app letting them know they have a reservation. You can also see what other people in your party at interested in attending. It a nice app as long as you are connected to their wifi. To be clear you do NOT need to purchase the wifi plan to use this. You simply connect to their on board wifi and it functions with all features. The messaging feature is nice too..Version: 3.17.1

First timers reviewWell this is not my first experience with going on a cruise. RoyalCaribbean was my first time on a cruise and I must say that it spoiled me. This cruise is for first timers someone was just trying to get used to a boat not looking for big excursions or Beauty because Ensenada Mexico is a Third World looking country. I would say that for people that are trying to get used to going on the boat this is a perfect opportunity quick easy we can opportunity the Apple is amazing it helped everyone understand where to go where to be and it also gave you a daily planner. So with that being said if you’re looking to take your first cruise maybe something for you the comedy was amazing the events on the boat were amazing the pool could be a lot bigger so of course with that many people the pools for the adults in the pool for the regular kiddos etc. was just not big enough for the amount of people that were on the ship. But what I will say is I enjoyed all the people on the boat everyone from California and the food was mediocre nothing was specialized as far as the area that we were going to visit so if you’re looking for a good food good flavor people really enjoyed the burger joint in the chick chicken joint and the Pizza joint we like the fact that it was open late hours so I will say all at all I will take the cruise for the experience of the casino experience of just getting away for a weekend great opportunity wouldn’t change it wish everyone the best try it out!.Version: 3.11.0

Carnival Sunrise July 16-21This was our first cruise in 17 years. My husband and I got to bring our 16 year old daughter and her friend for their first ever cruise. So much is different (in a good way) and so many things the same- also in a good way. First, I love how dining is set up now with a range of time to eat, but still get the same waiter. I was worried about that because we all know they make up part of our fun by getting to know us. I loved that we could see the menu ahead of time on the hub and check in. I also loved the Hub with the events and details of the day and how they are categorized by food/drinks/ shopping/etc…. It was a great way to plan your day ahead of time (My last cruise was still with a piece of paper slid under your door nightly that you had less time to plan your day AND had to keep track of all day!) Last, but not least, I loved to see a lot of the old things that made me fall in love with Carnival when I was 13- every single employee is friendly, says hello and smiles; they work hard to make every person’s vacation relaxing while working hard to keep the ship clean; the fun, music and tricks at dinners, along with the personalization of them learning our names (cabin stewards also); the photographers to catch those special moments, and just all the fun with the staff and fellow cruisers. It’s exactly what I told my daughter it would be like. Thanks for another great one Carnival- it won’t be another 17 years before our next one!.Version: 3.11.0

Carnival cruise Horizon Christmas 2022Despite all the craziness we went thur to make our first Cruise it was amazing from the time we boarded to time we got off. Everyone was nice in helping us get what we needed , just to let you know it was a snow storm & extremely cold we flew Southwest Airlines only to sit on plane for 4hrs before we left to our next destination which was Atlanta made it there & they cancel us till in the morning got tickets to fly into Ft Lauradale that morning so we slept in airport, now it’s time to board but not enough workers so we been delayed for two hrs now mind you we have to be on that ship by 3pm we get to the next airport waiting on luggage none so we put in a claim & we knew it was nothing but the devil we said we getting on this ship we came to far & been thur too much, we made it y’all with nothing , but when I say Carnival staff was amazing they made us feel like we had nothing to worry about. We had a amazing time with Cookie omg Cookie was the highlight of the ship for me, and the workers at guest services April, she rock took good care of us, our guy Antonio who took care of our room everyday was just awesome. In the Victoria secret store the young lady precilia was so helpful got Toiletries for us free. God put us just where we needed to be with the Best cruise ship & workers again Thank you all for everything, we are planning to bring our family on the next one. Best Carnival Cruise EverrrrrrOn Thursday, August 24, 2023 I sat cell with my best friend teniqua Owens for her 50th birthday cruise extravaganza. It was only 25 of us but we had the most amazing time ever. I took over 900 photos. I also took photos with the cruise ship as well my favorite part of the event, which is everything, but Mr. Jasper, who has the same name as my grandson is the most amazing event director ever. He is such a people person. I’ve never met someone like this on a trip. He is a Ola questions he sent us to the comedy shows he said just to go to the casino. He sent us to make sure we was on time for Deborah like he is so hands on so if you guys ever get a chance to meet Jasper please do. Our state room cleaner was Josie who was so magnificent that every day she make sure that we had an animal take towels setting what type of our bet it made us feel so good thanks Josie. Now about our waitress at our 6 PM dinner at Sunset. Her name is Olena we sat in section 104 and 102. Please make sure y’all sit there in that section. She is amazing. She make sure you got all your food from off the main course and she definitely will make sure you get the best desserts. It’s so much and for days that I can talk about but I can’t even think of a better carnival sunshine ship in my life that I will be going back next year to take my oldest granddaughter Eva for her 17th birthday. A must-have, must-use for your Carnival cruiseThis app is essential for navigating the ship, your activities, the amenities on board the ship, and for staying connected to other guests, both new acquaintances and those in your travel group. It is the only way to manage your trip plans for your cruise, particularly if you have not purchased a separate Wi-Fi plan. One of the most helpful features are the push notifications, which provide at least 15 minutes advance notice of any upcoming restaurant reservation for specialty dining, spa treatment, event or excursions you have booked. Although I highly recommend that you pre-book as many special dining experiences, excursions, spa treatmentts and other amenities, such as the kids club, well in advance of embarking on your cruise (due to availability) you can easily add, modify, cancel those events while on the cruise. The only glitch we had was with the debarkation process and instructions for that process. The cruise line did not notify us of our timing for debarkation, even though it said, it would let us know when our group was ready for debarkation. We could see that this ledto mass confusion on the day of debarkation for our cruise as many passengers were saying that they had also not received a notification for the time their group was scheduled to debark the ship. So, there was a mad push by 4,000+ people to disembark. We finally received that notice an hour after we had actually debarked the ship, and the next set of cruise passengers were already embarking on the ship according to their allotted times..Version: 3.21.0

Overall usefulOverall I found the app to be useful for planning your day and see what was happening on the ship. You could favorite activities and it would notify you prior to them beginning. The only issue I had was there is an extra purchase of $5 per person if you want to use the chat feature. I thought this would be great for my teens to be able to keep track of them on the ship. Only problem is there is really no notification when you have a message unless you go into the app and see a tiny red dot on chat, but that didn’t always mean there was a new chat, sometimes the dot would be there even though I had already read the chat. Since the app is capable of notifications it should be able to send one for the chat. My kids were able to create group ones with friends they made on the ship so that was enjoyable for them to be able to meet up with them, for example after returning from port. Another feature that I suggested that would be beneficial is to be able to create your own event in the timeline for picking up pics ordered or perhaps they could add that to your itinerary like they do the excursions. I did use the app a lot though, it had maps of the ship to see where an activity was, had activity descriptions, what was open to get something to eat, you could follow your spending account and anyone else using your account-individually, like each kid. 8 day then 7 back to backI do like many of the features of the app. I love that it works with my watch. I love that I can plan out my day and it will alert me 15 minutes before hand. I love the where to eat and menus. I love the weather portion. I love when I am on the ships that my pictures go to my phone. I am sorry but I have better things to do than to dig through 8 million pictures of other people. Also talk about the environmental impact. But my family of six paid 5 dollars each for the chat option. $30 dollars and it hardly ever worked. I am not sure if it was just the ship (Dream) or what but by the time anyone got the chat message we had already wondered the whole ship and found each other. One of the reasons I got it was for the safety of my three daughters. Nice to know if they needed me I would have been there at least a half hour late. Future upgrades ideas. It would we great to be able to see on your phone in real time the boats location, Speed, direction, eta of the port, etc. might include a UV index on the weather portion. Maps of the islands. Points of interest on the island. Safety messages about each island. Texting out the message that the cruise director was trying to say. Notifications of sales in the fun shops. How could the app be used for single people wanting to meet some one? Could it be used to find my wife or kids by letting us share location like floor, and bow, mid, and aft? Works well, for the most partOverall the app works decently. 100% useless unless you're physically on a Carnival boat AND connected to their Wi-Fi. You must download this app BEFORE you board or it'll be difficult to do so. I suggest downloading it before you get to your port. If you pay for their chat feature (which will pretty much be the only way to communicate with others while on board unless you're in you're stateroom all the time), it tends to disconnect frequently and when it disconnects, you'll likely lose messages that you've sent. I'd suggest taking screenshots or utilizing a notes app if you're needing to keep anything of importance to reference later. Ship activities show up under the What's Happening portion and you can tap the heart and it should alert you about 15 minutes prior so you can head to where you needed to be. I found that feature to be intermittent at best but great when it worked. Photos the photographers take throughout will show up in the app as well. They'll ask for your room number. Don't be surprised if you get a bunch of randos. We sure did. We also cannot access the app after you're disconnected from the ship's Wi-Fi so if there are any photos you want to buy, do so before you disembark. You can also view your account summary to keep track of charges. The main person the room is booked under can view all room charges. Overall it's a very useful app while boarded. It could use some stability work but when there's thousands of people connected, I would expect some sort of issues..Version: 3.24.1

Carnival ExperienceThis was my first cruise and overall I will say it has been one of the best vacations I have ever been on. Although I am only 15 years old and can’t do as much as the adults onboard, I had a very fun time. There were many things to do such as Club O2 for ages 15-17 and all the many activities and events they have planned for us. The staff onboard is very welcoming, friendly, and well-mannered. They were very friendly, especially to the kids, when they want to take care of our needs. My experience with the staff was great because the man who did room service for my room remembered my name and was very helpful. Also on the last night, there was a storm and the ship was rocking very hard, but in the morning they let everyone onboard know what occurred and feel safer. The very well organized app, has a list of all the past and future events that happen as well as information of maps and menus. Although the wifi provided on the cruise wasn’t enough to text and use any social media, they have different plans for purchase . Even though they are slightly expensive, it was something my family paid for and had a great experience with. It was quite slow at certain times but it worked very well with social media. Also I do recommend buying the $5 messaging on the app because you can’t directly text people on iMessages. It was very helpful because in my case, I had my whole family along and we all added each other so we could find each other. Good edition to help with large groupsI am glad this was something new added in comparison with the last time I cruised. We had a large group and it was nice to have this. For those of us who utilized it, not everyone in our group did, it was beneficial to have the information of all the events, food, etc… right at hand. However, we were also glad to still have the fun times handouts available for the older and younger ones who did not access the app. I also appreciated being able to view my account summary anytime. It’s convenient to call room to room for people in your group, but if they aren’t in the room, this was helpful to be able to reach them anywhere on the ship. The Wi-Fi was not always working though, especially in the rooms, so it took awhile for messages to get across to others. We also got a lot of exercise trying to find others when it did not work. The cost of the chat was reasonable for the whole week; hopefully, it’s less for fewer days. Although, there needs to be a group rate when you’d like to have everyone in your group be able to access it. I liked that you could reserve and be notified when your table was ready. It would have been nice to be able to reserve for more people though. It took at least 2 people to reserve since our group was large and we did not always get to sit together. Carnival VistaThis was my very first Cruise not alone my very real vacation. I’ve never been any where ever. Vista made my first experience on a Cruise the most memorable one ever The staff, all entertainers especially my favorite the Motown entertainers talent was simply amazing. They made each night Motown , Disco night so much fun. Love how they engage with the people. Their vocals was so on point to each song. The band was double time the best ever. Was so impressed by them. The host who directed everything she was fantastic, words just can not describe how well she was. I fell in love with her and I’m not gay either lol. But that’s how much I was taking by her. Again the staff who work so hard did such a wonderful job and their patience and kindness was simply amazing. I pray they are honored for the hard work they do and do excellently well. They are the ones who made this vacation amazingly great for me and I’m sure for others. I also amended the sailing crew who navigate throughout the whole Cruise. Now I truly give a amazing applause to these men if women help to them too. Wow I’m speechless on how smooth the ship moved I felt like I was on air These guys help me take in all the beauty of God’s open sea , sky and wonderful breeze To just really relax and take in the beauty and experience of it all. Love the new appI agree with most people that the app really enhanced the trip. I enjoyed being able to see my digital photos that were taken by photographers immediately without having to wait to find a hard copy at the Pixels stations. I enjoyed the However, I do think there needs to be a few updates. First, it would be nice if it had a search bar where you could search different topics to find out where things are located within the app. The chat option is awesome and I used it all week to communicate with my family. However, occasionally, the times of the texts were sometimes inaccurate and there were times I could not get my text to go through to my family. I wish there was a way to add or search for other people from the ship outside of the family that we stayed with. Also, it would be nice to have a virtual map to find out where I was on the ship similar to the one by the elevators, and also to locate where my family was on the ship from the app. Finally, it would have been nice to send photos in the chat to our family. The “What’s happening” category was very helpful versus the paper itinerary that would be slipped under my door. Sometimes things I was looking for were difficult to navigate and find on the app. But overall the app was a nice addition to our trip. We were able to look up daily menus and activities. Unfortunately, I never could find bingo or other activities that were clearly going on. Overall, the Hub app makes you feel like you are in the know. Carnival EcstasyI’ve had the greatest time on my first cruise to Cozumel and Yucatán MEX. My housekeeper Todding was awesome and always checked on me and made sure that me and my roommate had everything that we needed. My waiter Carlos from Wind Song dinner restaurant who is originally from Peru was fantastic and he always made sure that we had the best service and well flavored meals. We never had to wait for a long time for our food and he told us the best meals to pick each night based on our appetite. The cruise director Tyler was phenomenal!!! He always was the start of the show when it came to night parties on the upper outside deck, deck 10. Tyler was also very complimentary about his staff calling them a family and allowing for the guest to take a picture of the staff in the Blue Sapphire stage room. He even complimented my cowboy hat as I was leaving the ship on our departure time when it was time to leave the ship at the end of the cruise. I would highly recommend going on a Carnival Cruise at least once or twice just to get the experience to travel by ship and the extraordinary guest service you can ever have when being on a vacation. I mark Carnival Cruise with 4 stars because any company can always do better and improvement is always needed; however, Carnival Ecstasy does deserve 4 stars as I would like to go on another Carnival cruise knowing that l’ll have the best guest service, be feed well, and have endless entertainment throughout my vacation time..Version: 3.11.0

New Year’s Eve cruise, ValorThis cruise was absolutely fabulous. I was able to scratch an item off of my bucket list. From before the cruise Niksa, the hotel director, joined our Facebook group to let us know about the New Year’s Eve menu and to dress up for the dinner and parties. New Years Eve was everything I hoped for. It was fabulous. Then on Jan 2 nd I fell in our first port where I broke my nose and just beat myself up all over. The crew went out of their way to take care of me and to keep in touch throughout the rest of the cruise. Our steward, Camelo made sure I had ice twice a day in my room and even some extra if I needed. Our wait staff of Ariel, Aphril Joy and Chandra took excellent care of us. The Matre de Mario in the Washington room was always helpful and took care of us as well as the hostess Gauri. We saw them multiple places on the ship and they came and looked us up to see how we were. The Cruise Director Marty and the fun squad, especially Katie “ My Lady” were so sweet and caring. Guest services went over and above by checking on me twice a day and comping my internet that I ordered after the fall to reach out to family that we wouldn’t be doing the b2b cruise. Boglarka, Connie and Branka were especially helpful. Julian the shopping expert was so worried about me. Niksa Pelic took care of the main people who helped me when I fell by sending them a bottle of wine. First Carnival Cruise &traveling with a 12 yr oldWe just got off our first carnival cruise and we loved it! We were grateful for the Carnival HUB app because we traveled with our 12-year-old daughter, and we’re concerned how we would keep track of her on such a large ship. Make sure you buy the five dollar texting feature and you won’t need to buy the way overpriced Wi-Fi pkg. For 5.00 each for the whole cruise we were able to text within the Hubb app using the chat feature. So handy! It took a bit for us to learn the ins and outs. I wish I had read the description here online lol. For instance, make sure you Hart activities that you like or that you are planning to attend and you will get a 15 minute reminder notice which is very handy when you lose track of time. Making reservations through the app is also very easy because you can wait in your cabin until your table is ready. You were able to view all ship activities and things going on for your kids as well through the app so you know exactly where they are at all times if they are hanging out in the ocean club or Circle C. Our daughter made some great friends on the first night and loved hanging out in Circle C and doing all of the activities. This allowed us adults to go to the restricted comedy shows 18+. I will definitely use the hub app again on our next cruise!.Version: 3.24.1

First time cruiserThis was our first cruise. We went to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. We decided on a short cruise from Long Beach to Ensenada and back to Long Beach. I have always wanted to go on a cruise and finally he said yes. 🥳 We had a very good time. The crew members were wonderful. Our cabin steward who’s name was Made was wonderful. He was always available to us. We had his direct extension. I will cruise director and his team was wonderful. I forgot the name of the cruise that director but it was the cruise was from December 6 to the ninth. The guys helping the cruise director Andrés and Frederic. They were hilarious and entertaining. For dining I was server was and Tara. The first night he memorized oh and names. And then for the rest of the trip he said Miss Veena to me. Our other server Triyono was great also. The comedian on board at punchline was very funny. We got clothes that he even gave me hugs. There is so much to do on the cruise. My whole day was busy having fun. There’s something for everyone.. I really enjoyed the spa. Even though I had to pay extra for it it was so worth the money. The only thing that I would recommend is more outlets in the room. I understand since it is a old vessel. It’ll be nice if it was upgraded. I lost my phone in the casino and they were so nice about it Haydee and Gaurav help me find it. I enjoyed it so much that I’m ready to go back . Great for keeping in touchCarnival app is great for keeping up on events around the ship. You can mark events you would like to attend & will send you reminders. We usually cruise with all our grown kids so it helps us keep in touch with each other on board. I think some features could be added…for example, (1) I HATE waiting in line on the ship to order omelettes or a sandwich in the buffet. We have stood in line for 30 mins or more at times waiting & most of our party was done eating by then. Should be able to order a sandwich on the app & pickup when ready. (2) Arrived home from a short 5 day cruise today. I glanced at my account several times to see my sail & sign acct while onboard but, obviously, couldn’t print the list while onboard. When I got home I tried to print but the Carnival app would no longer let allow me to access. I was forced to request a copy of my acct statement through customer service which could take several days to receive. This is extremely cumbersome! Since cruisers are able to access the Carnival Hub app BEFORE our cruise then you should allow us to access the hub for a week or so after the cruise in case we want to print our statement me for our records. I now realize I should have downloaded the statement to my phone but I figured I could just do it at home. I tried within 2 hours of leaving port & the app wouldn’t allow me to access anymore..Version: 3.20.1

Carnival Horizon September 29, 2019Wow! My first cruise and I think I need an intervention. We spent the past 6 day’s on the Horizon with ports of call in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We had rain the first day and a half, but there was plenty to keep our two boys entertained and of course the bars are always open. We had dinner the first night at “Bonsai”. The only negative was that children were supposed to eat free, as we were in the “Family Harbor” suite. This was not the case at “Bonsai”. No clear explanation was given. Beyond this one hiccup, we had a blast. We ate dinner most nights on the Lido Market Place on deck 10. We did have breakfast/brunch at the Meridian Restaurant on deck 3, and the food/service was excellent, especially the French Toast, amazing! By far our favorite place to eat was “Guy’s Burgers” on the pool deck, as well as the 24hr Pizza aft deck 10. Our “Family Harbor” room was comfortable, and efficient with 2 bathrooms(1 tub/shower combo and 1 shower with commode. There was plenty of closet/drawer space for the 4 of us. I recommend bringing along an extra hotel key card to keep from having to use your sail-n-sign card for the main lighting and power on while you’re tout and about. Our room steward Ketut was amazing with any/all requests, and he always called us by name. Our towel animals were the highlight each evening to see what was waiting for us. Sad to have to leave them behind, but we know their in good hands!.Version: 3.1.8

Carnival PrideThis was my 4th cruise and yet still love to watch all the shows and see everything the ship has to offer. The staff was very serious about germs, but not too crazy about it. Some staff would be holding a bottle with germ x or some sort of bacteria killing liquid in it, but I don’t really know what it is, I just know it’s soap or something. The food is excellent, especially the Normandie Restaurant. The Normandie Restaurant has really good food. I definitely recommend going to it. They have a selection of meats, vegetables, and other things. The staff is very polite but there were only 1 or 2 I’ve seen that didn’t seem to care that much about you or the cruise. The app really makes the experience better because it tells you when, what, and where the events are. The excursions are what really completes the experience but can be a bit pricey, depending on which excursion you decide to go on. The Bahamas have always been one of my favorites. The arcade is pretty cool too. The arcade is where I spend a lot of my time. There is something called power hours where the prices for the games are half off, not including the ticket prizes. You can see when they happen on the Carnival Hub app. One thing I didn’t enjoy is how the the pool is salt water and not fresh water. But the hot tub is fresh water, just the pool is salt water. There is also waterslides. Every cruise I’ve been on had 2 different water slides each time, but I liked all of them. Some cruises have some different things that you can’t do on other cruises. Platinum statusWow it was the first cruise as a platinum member. I wasn’t aware or informed of what to expect or to do. After asking my cabin steward about the pin I’m use to receiving. I was told to check with guest services. There I received a paper stating what’s given. On the 3rd day of a 5 day cruise. The other concern I have is not being able to hear the announcements when in the stateroom. I have to open my door just to hear what’s going on. Aside from all of that. I was well served by my cabin steward Sastrawan daily. He was only told once on the first day. The things I would like to have done daily. Other than him greeting me in the hallway. Asking about my day or making sure I was okay. He had the room under control every day. My wait staff with Ramoncito, Santi, Kurk. We’re exceptionally good every evening. Very friendly only had to give my name one time. I was greeted daily by name. Whether in the dining room or on the lido deck I was greeted by name. No matter what I asked for they were very eager to oblige. I enjoyed dancing with the staff and interacting with them. It made the trip relaxing like being at home around family in the kitchen together. Our table sat 10 and no matter where we were from. Everyone got to know one another and enjoyed our time at the table together. Thanks to our staff that helped us make food and drink selections. Sharing their expertise and knowledge of the menu’s and drinks. I’ve only used carnival for cruising and I don’t have a reason to stop now. The Great Cruise 2022This was our 5 cruise It was so much is different (in a good way) and so many things the same- also in a good way. First. I love how dining is set up now with a range of time to eat, but still get the same waiter “GUSTI & EKO” I was worried about that because we all know they make up part of our fun by getting to know us. I loved that we could see the menu ahead of time on the hub and check in. I also loved the Hub with the events and details of the day and how they are categorized by food/drinks/ shopping/etc.. It was a great way to plan your day ahead of time (My last cruise was still with a piece of paper slid under your door nightly that you had less time to plan your day and had to keep track of all day, special thanks goes out to the Cruise Director “LEON” he was very into helping everyone get into having fun on the ship, Last but not least, I loved to see a lot of the old things that made me fall in love with Carnival, every single employee is friendly, says hello and smiles; they work hard to make every person's vacation relaxing while working hard to keep the ship clean; the fun, music and tricks at dinners, along with the personalization of them learning our names (cabin stewards “KOMANG”) the photographers to catch those special moments, and just all the fun with the staff and fellow cruisers. Best Cruise Yet- Loved the New HUB Experience!Just got back from our cruise on the amazing Vista. We’ve been on more than 35 Carnival Cruises yet this one was one of our favorites primarily because of the attitude of literally everyone onboard, crew and guests. The crew were overly excited to have us back and it showed that they were just happy to be back and working. The passengers that we met and saw at the events were also happy to be ably to cruise again and enjoy the beautiful experience. People just seemed more kind this cruise. The Hub was great. I wasn’t sure I would like not having the daily written agenda because I usually don’t use my phone onboard but to our surprise it was super easy to connect to the hub and book your dinner reservations at the separate restaurants, as well as excursions. I loved how everything you were scheduled to do showed up on your hub and sent you reminders. We were able to text the entire time and we purchased the WiFi package prior to sailing so we had email and use of our phone the entire cruise. The cleanliness throughout the ship was exceptional, from the restrooms to the elevators to the dining rooms and buffet. You could not find a dirty glass or plate or fingerprint anywhere if you tried. The casino was being cleaned almost every time someone got up from a machine and everyone wore their masks in the required areas as well as the crew everywhere. Amazing cruise and great appThis review is a mixture of how the cruise was and how great the app worked but I couldn’t find where to review the cruise so I’m doing it where the app review is. The cruise was awesome we went to Cozumel Jamaica and the Cayman Islands through carnival Vista and I loved the unlimited soft serve ice cream and the service was amazing they worked so hard for us and I love the animals the room cleaning people made out of towels, our room cleaning guy was named Nyoman and he was so kind and when we first met him he took the time to learn our names and never got our names wrong and that’s what I love about this is that they try to learn your names and the food was awesome I love how the food they gave you was extremely fancy and if you didn’t like it they would get you something else you may like and overall experience at carnival was 10/10 carnival truly is the best cruise line I have been on and looking forward to the next cruise. The app worked amazing but it does cost 5 dollars to be able to text people on the ship through the ships WiFi but once connected you will be able to chat and make group chats with family and friends so if you get lost or something you will have something to be able to text people, personally I didn’t find anything wrong with the app and it was completely fine and worked amazing.Version: 3.19.2

Decent app but deceitful Download Digital Photos buttonFirst, the Carnival Hub app is pretty good and makes getting information much, much easier than the daily printouts they put in your room. There is a bug where one child was able to purchase the Bottomless Bubbles soda package via the app even though I had set a limit of $0 for each kid’s room card on the carnival website prior to the cruise. Dynamic type (user preferred font size) is supported on some screens but definitely not all. Dark mode is not supported on any screen. I liked that photos appear in the app a few hours after the Pixel photographer takes them. But the Download Digital Photos button is a very deceitful piece of marketing. It has an arrow pointing down making you think you can download a digital photo after you purchase the print. Only later do you realize you have to purchase the digital print at their kiosk for an additional charge. Also this has nothing to do with the app but the Carnival staff continue to be 5 stars and should be tipped well! Your fellow passengers on the other hand have become much more rowdy and entitled. Weed was being smoked everywhere after 9pm on the Celebration. Large groups of teens were out of control, getting into scuffles, dropping F-bombs every sentence they spoke. If you wondered where their parents were they were probably the ones smoking. Carnival staff did their best but after coming back post-COVID I think this will be my last Carnival cruise. Carnival HorizonJust came off my 7 day Horizon cruise… I do have to say KUDOS to the staff and how amazing they are.. my room steward CAMILO was great I couldn’t have asked for a better one. He was kind knew our names and was always super attentive to our needs. Dinner in the Dining room with our waiter and staff BENJI it’s was amazing as well.. man we ate a lot BENJI always knew we wanted seconds and treated us like royalty.. the show and music in the dining room was great. The ship is very modern, big and nice.. every morning at the Java coffee the attempted was awesome too she worked all day and night there. I hope these staff members get to sleep they work hard all day and night. If I was rich I would tip everyone onboard they were always there attending to your needs. I had an issue and guest services pulled thru MELISSA was the bomb helped me with my issue for us up and running again with some shore excursions and refunds. The only part of my cruise I was disappointed with was Jamaica we did the ziplining/river tubing and blue lagoon the first 2 parts were amazing but when we got to the blue lagoon we didn’t spend anytime there like we were suppose too. Blue lagoon was a rush you jumped went to surface did a Tarzan jump and out to the bus no swimming no enjoying the time there. After that we had lunch included at margaritaville at the port omg it was horrible.. the food never came when we complained she started bringing us the food and the chicken was completely utterly raw and disgusting. Excellent trip!The kids and I had an excellent experience on this trip. Leo, who loves us, our cruise director, was phenomenal. We were very impressed that no matter where we would run into him, he remembered our names … he always made everyone feel so special! Our cabin Stewart, we called King Tute… was so kind and would clean the cabin to where the beds were so immaculate you could bounce a quarter off of them… and the creatures on the bed every evening, that he made out of towels, were delightful. Finally, our weight staff….Ted… and his crew waited on us so well. He remembered our nicknames, even though those were not the names on our Sailing cards. He would give us recommendations and if we wanted extra, obviously he would bring it… always smiling, and a bonus was he was terrific singer. It had been a long time since I received all this attention with such wonderful detail as everyone gave us. We usually go on Princess…. But after this, I would want to go again on Carnival again and again this was probably my fourth carnival cruise. And it was also my best. … my kids that I spoke of are grown-ups, but they did not wanna leave. They had such a terrific time. They have been cruising since they were infants. I believe this was the most fun filled and impactful…. I would have to say it’s due to the amazing crew..Version: 3.29.0

Promises, promisesI am one sailing day away from being a platinum member. I won’t list out all of the problems my family of 7 had. We sailed when Covid had a reduction in cases. First off I was told they would move and upgrade us. Never done. I was promised a massage. That did not ever come through. Then I was offered a credit on my account. That never came forth either. My 2 year old granddaughter was bored bc all camp carnival activities were cancelled. No notice given before sailing. No swimming because she was not potty trained. I did witness on several occasions kids younger than her IN DIAPERS IN THE MAIN POOL! It seemed as though everything they offered or promised to do for us was NEVER done. My granddaughter spent all of her time inside of the cabin watching movies. I never received gifts that are given to Gold members. I will say this much…do not get a cabin below the basketball court. 2:00 am 5:00 am were the only hours of quiet we received on EACH AND EVERY DAY. Constant screeching of tennis shoes, feet that sound like they are coming through the ceiling, balls bouncing. It was my worst cruise ever. I’ll give it another try to get my platinum status but the next one better knock my socks off! My waiter and room staff busted their butts off bc Carnival had reduced the number of workers to compensate for their losses during COVID. Good overall, but could be so much betterWe just got back from a cruise on the Carnival Triumph. We found the Hub app to be a great idea that needs a lot more work. The main thing we were looking forward to using was the chat feature to allow our young teens to have more freedom on board, while checking in. However, the chat feature was not working on the first night, and was spotty for the rest of the trip. This was true even if both devices had good wifi signal, which was far from a given. I brought it to Guest Services attention, and never heard back, though it did get some better. Without dependability, the chat feature is much less useful than it could be. The information is good to have at the ready. It is like a carrying the Fun Times with you, but better. Calling the maps interactive is a bit of a stretch, but they were helpful to have. The online menus for the dining rooms were wonderful. There are some things that would have made it better. Prior to the cruise, the app is only a countdown timer, but could help explore the ship so you are more aware when you get aboard. I would have loved to see the ship's position during the cruise at a touch. The weather feature could use a lot of work, as it did not give enough info. There were a couple of times that staff wanted to get back in touch with us, but there did not seem to be a way to message from staff to guest in the app. All of these would make easy and helpful upgrades for the next version. Carnival SunshineFirst time using the app. It was great seeing all the activities for each day, including future days. It allowed me to plan ahead, click on a heart, and create a customized plan. It took me two days to get the hang of using the QC codes but once I learned to do it with the app open, I didn’t have issues. Any time a waiter saw me struggling, he brought me a paper menu. I used the ship map link a lot until I was used to the floor plan. I liked clicking on a movie in the schedule and reading a short description. It was also good for finding out what places were serving food at any time of the day. We did not use the chat function since we were together all the time. I did not try booking appointments because I made them at the spa desk when I was there each day. It took me longer to get used to the internet. The app worked great. I just didn’t realize I didn’t need to log out to change devices. I would log in from the device I wanted to use and it would tell me another device was on and give me the option to disconnect it and connect the device I was using at the time. That wasn’t an app problem. I just needed better instructions on app and browser interplay. Since I carried my phone around for the camera, it was nice not to have to carry around a printed schedule..Version: 3.10.1

Great cruise but 1 problemThis is mainly the cruise and a little app review. The app is great it shows all the stuff that are happening and you can also chat. The chat isn’t really reliable. We had to log out and restart our phones a couple of times to receive messages. You also don’t receive the messages right when they were sent. I think the chat should be free with the app. As for the cruise, carnival is a great cruise maybe the best one. They have great food (especially the guy’s burgers 😋). The activities were very fun, my favorite were the trivia’s. The sports center is amazing, playing pool, basketball, and foozball is always fun. The staff are SO NICE. The nicest staff are for sure the stateroom stewards. I’m always happy when I see them and all of the staff. They always have a smile on their face and if you ask for something they always get it for you. But there is one problem that I ran into. Why does everything close so early? The burgers were my favorite food, but they closed at 6, I couldn’t really have it for dinner. The taco place also closed at 3. I want tacos, tacos are closed, I’m sad. But the place i loved most was the fitness center. The fitness center closed at 8. When we had port days we got back on the ship around 2 and 3. And you want dinner and maybe do some activities, but you also want to go to the fitness center. Oh wait, it’s closed. Why not just make it open 24 hours? You don’t need a worker there, people can do stuff respectively and responsibly. Overall the cruise is amazing I just wish that everything closed later, i could have way more fun that way..Version: 3.10.3

Great for communicatingWe once took walkie-talkies to communicate. This allows texting each other for $5. My only complaint is that it doesn’t vibrate if the sound is turned off on your phone. That means you can miss messages if you don’t happen to see them pop up on your screen. You get so much for free that you should definitely download this app even if you don’t want to pay for chatting each other. It has a list of events going on, so there is no need to carry a copy of Fun Times around or go back to the room to look at it. There is a list of what is currently open for dining. You will have your assigned dinner option with the menu for that night. We used to try to go by the dining room every day to see what was for dinner, but no more. You can even order a pizza and have it delivered in the app. You can check your sail and sign account. You can even separate the account charges by person if that would help you in checking the balance. I actually used all these features except ordering pizza. I think it is also worth noting that the people you can chat is not limited to the people you came with. You can chat with anyone else who paid for the chat feature. There is a search for you to find there name and add them as a friend. The cruise director even encouraged us to chat with him on the app..Version: 3.0.5

App helpful, could be betterCarnival Mardi Gras: Schedule: The app worked well for reviewing the daily schedule and marking activities. However the my planner view needs to be condensed more like the what’s happening now view. Photos: Viewing photos worked at first, then stopped working one day, then began working again the next day. Would have liked to be able to purchase digital photos from the app. Makes no sense you can purchase prints from the app but not digital, but once you purchase digital from the Pixels Photo store, you download them in the app. Dining: Would have liked to actually be able to make reservations in advance rather than check-in for dining when ready to eat (your time dining) In app. Chat not reliable. I sent test messages with recipient right next to me, those messages were not received in timely manner, so we didn’t try to use it much. Waste of money. Chat should be free with app. Account summary: The way the charges and credits (OBC) were displayed in the app summary was somewhat confusing, the separate folio displays were better, but thankfully the pdf statement was provided in the app, as the pdf was the easiest to understand. Would like to see the drink of the day listed in the app. Would like to see perks for my VIFP club level listed in the app. Waiter tried to tell us Gold doesn’t get a free drink on last day after 5:00 pm. Carnival Valor, January 4-8th 2020It really was amazing. All the staff were super kind and never let someone have a dull moment. Daniel, the Circle C leader, treated my child great. She came home telling how she loved it and how she wanted to go back. It was surprising because she never wants to go to her youth group stuff, but this time she was all for it. Daniel treated the kids with respect and was super kind and great to each and everyone of them. There was never a bad time in there. He always made us smile and had us doing fun things we all enjoyed. He makes each and everyone of the kids feel special. He participates in all the activities and treats everyone like they aren’t any different. My child always was smiling when in there. He honestly was amazing. Abbey, the fun squad person, she was great also. I always went to her the stuff she hosted. She has a great sense of humor. I usually don’t like bingo, but she had me going to all of them because she made it that much better. She would make us laugh and make us just have fun. Her doing anything made it great. The waitresses made everything enjoyable at dinner. They had great service. It was honestly, a cruise my children and I will remember. Carnival Hub AppReally enjoyed using this app. Has many perks especially knowing what is occurring on the ship, knowing you are able to tag events your interested in and the other people in your party is able to see what events your interested in as well. Love that your able to check the menus in the dining area before reserving your table with your party. Any person in the party can reserve a table for everyone at a specific time. You can see pictures in the app and order them as well. The app is user friendly. You can look at your account summary. Highly recommend the app. The app is free but in order to chat with people in my party I had to purchase the chat for $5 well worth it. The only draw back if you got to far from the signal it would drop you from the Wi-Fi and wouldn’t reconnect automatically so I thought it wasn’t working correctly. Guest services were great, I had to go back to my Wi-Fi connect and click back on the Carnival Wi-Fi and it reconnected, this will save time from standing in line to know. As discussed in previous review when it drops from the connection you may lose chat capability until your Wi-Fi signal reconnects so there is lag time if someone is trying to reach you in chat. Carnival GloryThis was my first cruise, and let’s just say it will not be my last!! Christian Delosa was the absolute best! He has so much energy more than the energizer bunny I do believe!! He always kept us well informed of the daily activities , and any other important information needed! At first I was like , this is so not organized but as the days went by I could definitely see it was as organized as it could be, for as busy as one man is/was! He truly is an amazing talented and customer driven individual, Carnival cruise lines are very lucky from what I seen this pass week! Everything and I did say everything; was great! Still being new I was often confused but was easily directed by your caring team members! The one thing I would like to see in the future is that the children below the age of 18 stay off the floor for adults only, meaning u may need to relocate your pizza place as many youngsters enjoy pizza! But this week I witnessed a fight on the deck, two mean then the two woman then their obviously teenaged children because apparently one of the kids took his wife’s beach chair, then in the middle of the loud abusive language some little kids come on deck! It clear states it’s for adults 18 and older, the parents are wrong to even allow the kids up on that deck, but sadly your security staff did nothing during this scuffle, not even reminding the kids this is an adult only deck!! Other than that this trip was the most amazing trips I’ve taken and I travel quite often, you will see more of myself and now my family will get to experience a cruise soon!! Using the Carnival Hub AppWe just got off a 7 day Carnival Cruise aboard the amazing Carnival Dream. The Carnival Hub App allowed us to quickly keep up with everything happening on the ship, where to eat and what shows to see. The app makes it convenient to stay connected and to know what is going on on the ship at all times. The new dining table request feature allowed us to request a table before heading down to the dining room and when our table was ready we were notified on our phones. Just amazing! The app also allowed us to keep an eye on spending and allowed us to book excursions right from our phone! The chat feature allowed us to text and easily locate on another anywhere on the boat. We have been on a cruise before but this time we paid for the Social Internet and the Chat. It was so cool to not only be able to communicate with others in our group but also use Facebook Messenger to communicate with family and friends back home. We were all so excited to be able to post our photos for those not on the cruise! They all felt as if they were there. The free Carnival Hub App is a must for your cruise. Fun vacay must know b4 u goIt was great but very disappointed in buying Wifi plan when unnecessary as I could only get service in my room even with the plan and everyone had free Wifi anyways. The bottomless soda drinks were ridiculous when you had very limited places to get a soda and when u did they still expected u to pay tip every drink PLUS tip at the end of the trip. NTM ALL water juices tea and coffee were free regardless and even with bottomless they only served juice until 10am We paid $110 for a bottle of grey goose in the app before the trip cause they claimed it was discounted and they were selling two bottles of the same exact bottle for $60. We paid $110 for ONE that never got cold in our room. )1300 for a balcony room when they advertised the same room for 700$. Let’s not forget the fact that they advertise all these games u can win prizes like Bingo and they never give out the prize they promise. $5k bingo game and they find ways to trick u out of it. Then second chance scratchers and they throw in that u spin a wheel and get that prize and end up giving out $45. Everytime I won on a scratcher they pushed me to get another and not cash out. Just don’t buy any food cause they feed u free you just have to walk to the back of the boat but it’s always free. And don’t play games to win. Only expect to loose. Seriously. If u do win it’s less than $100. The penny slots say one 1 cent but min play is $1 a line..Version: 3.11.0

Uninformed staffWe have cruised several times in the past. This was our first trip with our daughter, who is 11. Overall, we had a really nice cruise. Our steward was great! However, we found it hard to get answers when we had questions about how something worked or where to find something. Several times we asked staff what floor something was on and they gave us the wrong floor number. My daughter forgot her swimsuit. The Funshop wasn’t open yet but we asked the cashier if they carried swimsuits and he said no. We went down to guest services(waited in line for about 30 minutes) and they didn’t know if she was allowed to swim in T-shirt’s and shorts or not. They said we had to ask whatever life guard was on duty at the time if they were ok with it. We went back up to the Funshop to see if they had anything that might work and guess what? They carried swimsuits. We were so upset that we had wasted an hour of our cruise running puns for answers. We also tried asking guest services on the second day for help with the internet and they just handed us the same paper we had in our rooms. Couldn’t answer specific questions and didn’t know anyone who could. It would have been nice if the app offered a chat feature. Also, we bought the endless bubbles program but were given no initial directions on how it worked. The rest of the cruise was great. Staff kept all areas very clean and were polite. Oh, except for the pizza guys. They snapped at my daughter when she was unsure if they were offering her the plate or the person next to her. They were very gruff the entire trip. This was my very first cruise ever!I had the time of my Life on board Carnival Mardi Gras! First of all my Stateroom Room Attendant Kadek was Superb! I really appreciated his hospitality, professionalism and his dedication as well as his kindness and proficiency. I was exceptionally impressed and surprised every day when I entered my stateroom with the cleanliness of my room! Fresh towels on my bed designed into a different animal each day(day one I was totally swept off my feet!) I was more than impressed because I’d never seen anything like that before! I was became so emotional the day before disembarking the ship because each day I would compliment his character and he’d greet me with a big smile each and every day and ask if I needed anything! I’d always tell him that he was the best! He mentioned to me that he’d be leaving back home soon also because he missed his family and wouldn’t return in February. All that said I told him that I would truly miss him when I leave and he replied that every time he’d look at stateroom 5238 it would remind him of me! My eyes began to water and I told him to stop because it was emotional and my eyes were watering even more like they are as I write this review because the dam has opened and tears are actually Streaming right now! Wowowowowowwowo!This was our first cruise together I had cruised several times and had fun, but seeing my girlfriend ene hoy a cruise for the first time was amazing everything was new to her and she was so happy. To be honest I expected the staff to be a bit down with Covid and everything but they where just as happy to have us as we were to be there. The entertainers where awesome all ove the ship but the Playlist Entertainment was the best they did dance lessons all Over the boat and the shows are night where great and the way they involved us was great. We played bingo, enjoyed trivia, and games and so much more and by the way we won two trophies. It was only 5 days 4 nights the next will be longer for sure. We had coffee from the ocean plaza shop awesome, we only missed one of our dinners and attended all the other and the service staff (Jason) and his team were amazing who cared about the good they were a blast but the food was good too. We didn’t get off in the Bahamas but it was a great day in the ship. We did get off at Half Moon Cay enjoyed the beach ate BBQ and back on the ship for more games and activities. Carnival Sunrise March 2, 2020We were supposed to go to Jamaica, but due to Covid-19 Jamaica had turned 1 cruise ship away. The day before we were to board I called them because I wanted to know if we were still gonna get to go to Jamaica or not because if not I wanted to discuss different options. I was advised that they didn’t see why we wouldn’t and all that. I get things change due to unforeseen circumstances but we were on the boat less than 4 hours before they told us we would be going to Cozumel instead be cause they didn’t want to risk being turned away. I REALLY wish you all would have gave us a choice to take our cruise at a later date because I would have waited! All that being said, I want to thank the staff and crew on our ship for their extreme kindness and extraordinary service. They were on top of everything. They even somehow knew to have a sharps container in my room because I am diabetic. I’m sure I filled it out somewhere lol but I was so appreciative. It was all the little things they did to make us comfortable! Our head waiter Wilfredo and his amazing team took such good care of all 8 of us girls, called each one of us by name, and were so polite! It was very usefulMy Husband and I just got back from a cruise on the Elation- Jax Port, Sea Day, Nassau, Half Moon key and 1 more Sea day. I used the app through the whole cruise. I have a iPhone 6+. I used the scheduling feature, which let you pick your favorite events, then reminded you of them 15min before hand. Some of the event descriptions were a little lacking, I do think this may have been on purpose, don’t think they want you to know prices or you had to listen to a sales pitch. I also used the Ship Map, it showed what was on every deck including the restrooms. We did purchase the messaging function ($5 per person) we didn’t use it that much, mostly because we couldn’t hear the alert (which may have been user error) and you don’t have your phone right next to you all the time. I think it would be worth it you’re in a big party of people. We did have a problem with Account Summary feature, the husband and I had our Sail and Sign cards connected- he got the correct summary but mine only showed a few purchases and didn’t make sense. The guest services apologized and said that was something they were working on. WI-FI - A/C Carnival FirenzeI don’t know if they had Wi-Fi issues just doing my Voyage, but it kept logging us out using the chat feature. This was frustrating because everybody was not getting the message when you had a large group. After all, somehow or someway, we were not connected. We followed all the steps to stay connected, but we had to log back in every time we checked our phones to see if anybody had a chat. By that time, some messages were over an hour delayed. The Wi-Fi was a huge problem. Many customers on my cruise and others I have read had so many issues with this service. My only concern is they should consider a basic free package to stay connected or text messaging and calls. This will help alleviate a lot of stress and lower the prices of this Wi-Fi service. as for the air conditioning, this made me give them four stars. Everyone on the ship I’ve encountered had AC issues in their room. It took them 48 hours to fix mine, and throughout the vessel, the AC fainted. I am encouraging Carnival to turn up the AC, especially when it’s hot due to the crowds. Allow customers to enjoy the drink packages, which can make their bodies hot. I’m not saying to freeze everyone on the ship, but it should come to a 50-50 temperature for people dancing and drinking..Version: 3.24.0

Start With Low ExpectationsIt’s nice having an app onboard to provide an itinerary. Once you heart an activity, the app will send a notification 15-30 minutes before. I liked that because I would make it in time to find a seat and enjoy the whole thing. The app also provides details for restaurants including menus, location, hours of operation and price if any; this was great. The home page is easy to view and navigate for all the important information and happenings on the ship. A lot of people on cruises travel in groups, our family of 5 adults including a special needs individual in a wheelchair were on the Jubilee just last week. We immediately downloaded the Carnival Hub App to utilize the chat feature. It costs an extra $5 to activate. From the very start the chat did not work. The app went offline every day multiple times a day. We each had to completely close it out, log off, log in to the Carnival wifi then log back in to the app every day of our 7 day cruise. For Gen X and younger this would take less than a minute of troubleshooting. However, our group had 2 boomers that were downright disgusted that the app was not working. Customer service on board probably lost count for the amount of guests complaining about the app. We were told that the tech team was working on it. By day 5 of our trip the chat feature started working much better and we were able to communicate. I’d like to see a free chat feature that works the entire trip. A map that shows real time location and directions to get anywhere else would be so awesome! And if Carnival updated the app to include an interactive game with real prizes, I’d say that would be phenomenal!.Version: 3.21.0

App Awesome!App works great! The dinning check in is great! We could schedule our table from our room and then head to the restaurant once our table was ready. We could check all the activities at any time and we could find areas easier. We did not use the chat function because we were all together most of the cruise, so I don’t know how that works. But it shows all your charges and totals and allows you to set reservations. It sends you notifications 15 mins before any event you have “liked” to remind you to head to the venue for that activity. You can also access all the menus and hours for the restaurants. You can get more details about any activities by clicking on them. I recommended that you download the app before going to your cruise terminal to board and do not try to access the WiFi until you are fully checked in and have your folio #. If you get the internet package, you will not want to sign into the WiFi until you can sign in with your folio #. I signed into the free WiFi before we got our room keys and it took me three days to finally get my full WiFi working. You can go to the app and set it up once you have your room key. We had a blast! Carnival LibertyThe Carnival app was the best ever. I can’t imagine cruising without it. It’s almost like all of around with a carnival assistant yo some degree. The planner was amazing. Forgot the name of your excursions……no worries , just check your planner on the app. So much information on there. You can order room service from the app. Navigate around the ship from the app. The cruise itself was so amazing also. Carnival’s customer service on the boat is top notch. From the time you get to security on is the best experience. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are right there to answer your questions before you can even ask the question. I mean literally. It rained in Freeport so we got wet. Entering back in the ship, someone was waiting with dry towels for us. They think of everything. Dana, our housekeeping person was so helpful and happy every morning. She always greeted us with a smile. She did an awesome job on our room daily. Plenty of seating all over the boat. We had ocean view. This was great. I will only do ocean view or balcony moving forward. The full ocean view was breathtaking and so relaxing. The Lemonade was some very good lemonade. Useful and must have appThe application is very useful and easy to use. It is not necessary for the cruise but it has many features that will enhance your experience. First the good parts: it uses the ship’s WiFi and there is no charge. It has texting that allows you to communicate with others in your party. You can use the app to see everything happening on the ship, and it tells you what restaurants are open at any particular time. it has ship maps that are very valuable. You can also view all of your charges at any time. You use the app to reserve your table in the restaurants and it tells you when your table is ready (but see below). You can also view and book excursions. Now the not-so-good parts: the texting part works but it doesn’t notify you with a notification when there is a new text. You have to get accustomed to having the app open almost all of the time to see texts in real time. Also, the other push notifications are not that reliable. The dinner reservation notification came multiple times and one time never told us the table was ready. We had to rebook because we waited too long. Overall this is a great app and very useful, but it can be improved and needs some updating for a seamless experience..Version: 3.28.0

IndispensableInitially I downloaded this for the chat feature. We had a large group and this allowed everyone to stay in touch which was a game-changer. Also loved the ability to create separate group chats for different members of our group. Apart from the chat, I found the "what's happening" feature incredibly useful. This also allows you to check the daily menu at your restaurant, among other great features. If you're taking a Carnival cruise, you'll love having this app..Version: 2.0.4

Game changer for cruising as a group!So in 2023 when we cruised and had this app, it was absolutely amazing. This time it was super glitchy and there were days that the app would not work for one or two in our group and another day it would be a few others. Great appI was aboard the Pride in March 2025 and the app worked very well for us. We could see the events happening on the ship and add what we were interested in to a personalized schedule. Our excursions also appeared there and everything would notify us as scheduled item times approached. Lots of other great info also. Keeping track of your expenses, restaurant option and a good usable map of the ship etc. The only issue I saw people having onboard was they didn’t know that you don’t need an internet package to use the app. You can connect to the ships wifi and you can pick the free wifi or you can pick the paid wifi with internet.
