Fitbit and Health, together at last. Sync all your data from Fitbit to Apple Health. After the first sync, the app will automatically sync in the background throughout the day. **Important** Fitbit currently provides access to daily data only. We have requested Partner API status in order to provide intraday syncing.

Need to sync from Health to Fitbit? Check out Sync Solver - Health to Fitbit as well.

Data types supported:
- Steps
- Flights Climbed
- Walking + Running Distance
- Weight
- Body Fat Percentage
- Body Mass Index
- Sleep Analysis (In bed and asleep time)
- Water
- Dietary Calories
- Resting Calories
- Active Calories

Notes:
- If you are using Sync Solver - Health to Fitbit, be sure to not sync the same data types as this will result in a data duplication loop.
- Since iOS schedules backgroud updates based on your app usage pattern, it may be necessary to manually sync from time to time in order to keep Sync Solver automatically syncing on a consistent basis.
- Intraday data granularity is not possible at this time due to Fitbit API limitations.

Sync Solver - Fitbit to Health Positive Reviews

Perfect for importing Fitbit data to Apple Health app related apps!!I needed this kind of app to import all weight data from my Fitbit dashboard (it holds 8 years of my weight records) to display all of that in an another weight recording app, “Humming”. Humming allowed only Health app. I didn’t wanted to type in all my weight (&body fat %) each by each (because it’s 8 years of records!!). After I installed this app, I hit “Sync Now” button shown at top page, then I refreshed Humming app. That displayed all the data in a second. This already saved me a lot if time. $5 is cheaper for several days of my free times to work on if I would do it. Thanks..Version: 2.9.2

Moves all historical weight, body fat and BMI data!If anyone else out there was looking to connect their historical Fitbit data to the Apple Health app, the $4.99 Sync Solver app is the way to go apparently. Experimented with a couple alternatives and none worked, but we have an Aria 2 (Fitbit) scale and Fitbit has said they have no plans to integrate with Apple HealthKit. Hence I keep using the Fitbit app just for tracking weight. Sync Solver-Fitbit to Health moved all 8 years of my weight/BF%/BMI data in 2 seconds. Hope that tidbit helps somebody! It took me a bit of experimenting to find this solution. Highly recommend it!.Version: 2.9.2

Works seamlesslyWasn’t sure about paying 5 bucks for an app that I wasn’t sure would work. It syncs my Fitbit data to apple health, perfectly and it was very easy to set up. Buy it now before the price goes up! I wanted it to have a better experience using BetterSleep app so I could view my sleep data there, as it only syncs with Apple Health. Worked like a charm!.Version: 2.9

Overall ok, doesn’t show step activity throughout dayI realize this is not the developer’s fault but more a limitation of the Fitbit API. However, I was disappointed after having spent the money for the app that it doesn’t sync intraday activity, meaning it doesn’t show when the steps were taken throughout the day. When the sync happens, it takes the number of steps and divides it evenly across all 24 hours of the day. For instance if you took 12,000 steps and look at the Health app, it shows that you took 500 steps at each hour. If showing precise data of when steps were taken matters to you and you want Health app integration, ditch your Fitbit and go with something that syncs directly with the iOS Health..Version: 2.7

Unable to Contact for HelpI quite like this app but it’s stopped automatically syncing and nothing I do seems to fix the problem. I wanted to contact someone to see if there was a solution but there’s not recent contact details anywhere I can find (support page is just a FAQ, socials haven’t been used in seven years from the looks of it). Quite disappointed in the lack of support - I’m tossing up whether it’s even worth continuing to use this app if it’s going to need me to manually update it every day, the whole reason I wanted it was to have it smoothly sync in the background..Version: 2.7

My original review wasn’t accurate.I bought this app because I can’t have my phone on me at work but I can wear my Fitbit. I wanted to sync my steps with my apple health app to have it all in one convenient place. Originally I was mad because less than 1,000 of my 6,000+ steps would sync but it turns out this was because of an issue with my Fitbit app. It would sync my steps to my Fitbit app but not load them fully so only part of them could be synced. And while I wish this app had a little more to offer it’s doing what I need it to do..Version: 2.5

Beware - no intraday HR dataThis app claims to sync “all” FitBit data with Health. After I purchased and set it up (including allowing sync of heart rate data), I noticed that there was no heart rate data in Health. When I went to Sync Solver Support to figure out why, there it is - there is no API to support heart rate data currently. Sync Solver asks to authorize sharing HR data in anticipation that functionality will be available someday. Would be nice to know that upfront, before purchase as HR is a big reason I purchased this app. By they way, it appears other similar apps have the same limitation..Version: 2.7

It does what the description says, but the main ad photos are misleadingThis app does what is says it does. It uploads sleep information, step count, and calorie count. It doesn’t import HR data which I didn’t realize, or I wouldn’t have bought it. The ad photos make it seem like all FitBit data can be synced. The wording in one of the photos is “Sync all your data from FitBit to Apple Health” which I feel is purposefully misleading. They do actually disclose that HR data isn’t included. If you read the app description carefully (unlike me), you’ll see HR data is not on the list of data that can be synced. It is not the developer’s fault I didn’t read more carefully and that I made my decision based on the main ad rather than reading the description details... but the main ad really should have the phrase “sync all your data” removed since it is what most people look at and is misleading..Version: 2.5

Successfully syncs Aria with Apple HealthI have been using a FitBit Aria scale since 2014. I wanted to get my measurements into Apple Health. Google pointed me here and it worked exactly as expected. The first sync wrote 3000+ items, 1000+ each for weight, BMI, and body fat percentage. That’s about one measurement per day since I got it. This app worked EXACTLY the way I wanted: with one sync, every measurement my Aria scale ever made was placed in Apple Health. Thank you to the developer..Version: 2.3

It Works!I have recently had to sadly switch from my many years with Fitbit to an Apple watch for the phone feature. I was concerned about also having to buy another scale. Thanks to this app I don’t have to switch from my beloved Area. This syncs perfectly. It also transferred years of data. Thanks Sync Solver..Version: 2.7

How to avoid double counting steps please?Dear Developer: when synced to my iphone it seems to double count steps. You made a comment in an earlier review about how to fix this — but iOS seems to have changed where / how to change the priority of the Health data. How do I do this please? I can’t find the Heath Data in the Health app to change the priority. I am using iOS 14.4 (the Latest). Also is there a way to undo the impact of the erroneous sync? Thanks, Carl.Version: 2.7

Works for what I needIt requires manual sync. Which learning that as a requirement it doesn't bother me. Couldn't give it a higher rating. The software update locked up my iPhone. I had to restart it. Not sure if software was installed after before or after restart. I have a problem when companies send an update and it causes problems to your system and/or device..Version: 2.3

Simple and does one thingExactly what I needed to move historical data over from Fitbit after switching to an Apple Watch. Also keeps my weight metrics synched from my Aria scale. Only wish it was able to sync more than two years worth of historical data..Version: 2.9.4

Works perfectlyI was bummed that my iwatch was not compatible with Fitbit, I'm a big fan of the Fitbit platform over the activity one for iwatch. Came across this app and it works flawlessly to sync and backup all of your health date to your Apple health app. Does not do auto sync, you have to manually press sync but that's no deal breaker for me..Version: 2.3

Good - but does not appear to be supportedThis app definitely fills a need, however the 'active calories' data pull freezes; the author claims it's the Fitbit API, but when we ask on the Fitbit forum there is no update from the author (4 weeks now waiting) it went from great author engagement ( looking at the history) to no engagement. On the plus side this app does a great job of mapping data from two very distinct data sets. I would get it again..Version: 2.3

Best app of its’ kind! This app is wonderful! It downloaded years of Fitbit data in seconds. It was simple and clear. I would recommend this to anybody. I wish I’d known about this app before I spent $5 on another app that didn’t do the job or offer tech support..Version: 2.5

Doesn’t seem to auto syncThis app would be exactly what I needed and wanted, but after the first sync I continue to have to manually open the app and push the sync button. I have let it go for about a week and a half to see if it would auto sync. I’m hoping there is just some setting or something I am missing….Version: 2.9.2

It works!!!Using data from fit bit to apple health to a 3rd party app required this app to do the transfer. It was a clean and easy process with no snags. Even an old granny (me) could do it So thankful for this app. Thank you!.Version: 2.9.2

Does exactly what is saysSynchronized an Alta HR brining in all the data with no problem. If I made a change to the permissions I did have to log out and then back in to the FitBit app in order to keep synching. (Easily done through the SynchSolver interface).Version: 2.5

The missing linkThis is an AWESOME solution for getting your fitbit data into HealthKit. As the developer mentions, if you misconfigure it, it will double-sync some things due to Fitbit’s API limitations and HealthKit’s inability to select a single source for those metrics. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY DO THIS, here is how to fix it: - go into Health -> Sources -> Sync Solver - make sure the things you don’t want double-counted (I.e., steps, distance, floors) are NOT selected under the “Write” section - select “Data” and then use the “delete all data from this source” feature - tell Sync Solver to re-sync.Version: 2.5

The original, and still the best! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Just keeps going and going. As soon as the developers notice a problem, it’s corrected within a day or two. Hats off to a great app. 🎩🎩.Version: 2.7

Seems solid. $5 for continuous sync!Only question is how far back does it sync? It seems like it only synced my steps going back to 2021 whereas I have Fitbit data going back to like 2014..Version: 2.9.4

Get it doneThis app gets the job done without charging and arm & a leg. Fitbit data now visible in Apple! Didn’t want to lose years of data after Fitbit broke..Version: 2.7

Doesn’t sync multiple sleep times per dayI got this primarily for importing sleep data into apple health but I was really disappointed to find out it doesn’t allow multiple sleep data for the same day! Why is that?! Seems like not a big deal to do. Really frustrated because it really can throw it off..Version: 2.5

Apple Watch Users:This app helps your Fitbit Aria write data into your Health App on your iPhone. So your weight, body mass index, and body fat percentage will import “automatically” (you still need to press “sync” on this app) into your Health App. That’s about all it will help you with if you’re using an Apple Watch..Version: 2.5

Usable over WiFi onlyMultiple attempts to set cellular option in settings failed - though botton would slide; it would not save..Version: 2.6

Good app - can be betterIs this still actively supported and developed? Wondering when sleep analysis stages (REM, Deep, Light, Restless) and RHR (resting heart rate) will be synced? I’m seeing other apps doing this and I’d rather not go seek a new app, I’ve been a SyncSolver user for years. Please update!.Version: 2.9.4

Needs updateNo autosync. When I do sync it goes back days , I would like to be able to choose what day or days to sync. I also use an apple watch and have to go back to delete entries on days I used my AW to have accurate step count. It works and has good potential..Version: 2.3

Miss the old Icon! This app has works great for years but I miss the old icon!.Version: 2.9.3

No HRFYI, does not sync heart rate data, and to be fair it does not advertise that it does. App icon somewhat misleading..Version: 2.3

Does what it saysOnly short coming is the lack of hear rate records. But overall it does what it says. A bit expensive in my opinion for an app that cross syncs but Its a solution..Version: 2.7

Solid so far, only issues have been with the Fitbit APIDoes what it says on the tin, recommended. Active Calories are not syncing for me, but this is a problem with the Fitbit API, not this app. I just turned off the data source in Health per the very thorough Support instructions given in the app. There is a potential to have duplicate data (like steps) in your Apple Health app when using this. Again, read the support instructions. They tell you how to fix this :).Version: 2.3

Almost perfectSimple to use and worked right away. Needs to add lean body mass to the list of synced stats as it’s currently missing. Navigating the app is confusing considering there’s no where to go in it..Version: 2.9.1

So close to 5 starsDoes everything and with little to no issues, it just doesn't sync the heart rate data.... Come on make it a five star App!!!.Version: 2.2

Sync HRI’m generally ok with this app, but would really like it to sync resting heart rate..Version: 2.6

IOS health app sync steps fitbit3When sync is run the health app updates with new steps from fitbit3. I do see that on insert data is added for each hour of the day even before it has happened. It looks like a default of 131 steps are inserted each hour of that day the sync is run. I only noticed this because I ran the sync at noon and it updated for the rest of the day until midnight for 131 steps that had not occurred yet..Version: 2.6

IncompleteNot everything syncs unless I do a hard reboot daily..Version: 2.4

Activity... WorkoutHi... would be great if I could sync my workout history. All I wanted was for the data to be transferred..Version: 2.3

Perfect! This app is exactly what I needed to sync with my iPhone without using the buggy native FitBit app..Version: 1.2

So far so good-one issueDid my first sync. Synced steps, Flights Climbed & Walking Distance. Sync would not complete-stuck on "Downloading Active Calories". Hopefully, this can be solved. So glad I can get my titbits steps to my iPhone. (Using iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1).Version: 1.0

Best part of my FitBit routineSync Solver works wonders for me. The syncing to my Health App really makes me love my FitBit more and more..Version: 1.2

Simply FantasticMy husband recommended this application to go along with my FitBit Flex and iPhone 6. It truly syncs everything I need to the native Health app. Great find!!!!.Version: 1.2

Killer appLove this app. So simple to set up and use and gets all the pertinent info into Health. If you have any Fitbit product and any iOS device, this app is for you..Version: 1.1

Great app! A health/Fitbit essential!Works beautifully and simply - flawless sync/integration of Fitbit data with Apple Health App. Couldn't be happier, has filled a huge hole in the Fitbit app. Highly recommend for anyone with a Fitbit device..Version: 1.1

Great but not perfectIt almost perfect, but just cannot sync the heart rate, wish it will update soon and add it..Version: 2.2

Does not sync Hear RateGood app overall but disappointed in the lack of Hear Rate sync..Version: 2.2
