This game is great and very fun to play. I just have some issues with it. Number one is their should be more custom boards. Number two is you guys don't give people enough money when we start main story missions. I also have some suggestions you should make a German army and a Italian army . And add generals

Tanks with special abilities. Amphibious tanks. used in the Japan, this light tank can battle on land and water. Spawn on splie deposit and aircraftcariers, they can’t survive heavy cannons. M3 Grant. Used by the U.S.A., the grant is armed with 2 cannons, 1 is very powerful, it’s unstoppable against Japan tanks. Artillery that can move 2 spaces and mobile on range. Used in both army’s (the one that can’t move and the one that can, can be pick up onto a transporter). Provided as a AT soport, AT vehicles are the armored madness. The Ho-Ri 2, is a long range AT vehicle. Good on long AT used. The M8A1 is more speedy. And move as far as a transporter. Anti air planes are planes that are good on other planes. The Japanes Zero, and the U.S. Grumman Hellcat are theses anti air planes. Special Tanks and anti air planes cost 700 gold, mobile Artillery cost 1250, fealed is 2500, and tank destroyers are 1500 gold. Special tanks and mobile artillery are unlocked after beating the first level of the 2ed to last series of level, AT tanks are unlocked after completing the first level of the last series of levels, and anti air planes and unlocked after AT LEST playing the first level of the first series of levels ( every primum unit (unit need to be unlocked to play with it)in both factions need to be unlocked idavishaly).

For me, I’ve been playing every day for years and it has never crashed, and I have a horrible iPhone! I beat all the levels using 2,000 gold tops. The game gives you about 2,000 gold at the beginning of each level, 1,000 every time you level up, and 40 to 300 gold for each unit defeated! (The adds give you 100, but I don’t need it). Try it yourself. Also, I’ve noticed that the one star reviews are spam and show up on most games.

So I’ve been playing this game for a while now I’ve noticed that there’s not one Japanese campaign that. Has the attack on Pearl Harbor mission which I think should be added because it would be really amazing plus you should make a new game where is the Air Force and is America versus whatever other country there is on the axis powers plz make this a thing in the game and also can you please make the Air Force thing a thing

This is coming from a person who has all of the games in the series, so yeah. Anyways I think a cool game mechanic would be for tanks, if you could have the commander come out of the turret, and it would increase visibility, but there’s a catch to that increase of sight, enemy MG’s would do more damage when the commander is out. I honestly think it’s a good idea, but that’s the developers decision whether or not to add this mechanic.

I don’t understand how some critics have trouble with playing this type of game. I mean, Handy Games productions did just that at creating such a tremendous strategic game! Making the player feel like there are many options to take, and opportunities to advantage of. As for me, I can only say that I’m having fun, whenever I’m bored of staying in the house. I can only depend on playing some WWII games, by HandyGames!

One of my favorites of the Handy Game’s series in this genre. Although I let it sit on my iPad for quite some time before playing it, once I got going and started to learn the game, I was hooked. Fairly simple learning curve, mastering the game was fun and engaging. Thumbs up to the Developers! Hope you are able to keep the updates and new campaigns coming!

The game is super fun! I enjoyed playing through it! Love the strategy and tactical decisions that need to be made! I would however, loved it if you incorporated a feature within the custom mode for an increased amount of gold for role play. It would be great to have that experience! Thank you!

I love this game to the moon and back but you really need a map editor and map maker sort of thing. It’s going to overall add to the atmosphere and enjoyableness to the game. Please add the map maker.

Is there a Version of this game that you can buy with no ADS and unlimited gold or do you still have to buy gold when you buy the game

One it needs more of the planes that were used in that era and u need to add cruisers as well as escort ships and the ability to buy more carriers

I love this game but it doesn’t have slot of levels, if more levels were added, I’m positive the game would be much better

I love the game and graphics. The pass and play is cool, but I have an idea for it. I think it would be awesome if players could create their own pass and play scenario. Other than that, great game! 🥇🎪🧂

Ever since the new update it crashes. It doesn't do it all the time but when it crashes it will crash over and over. Not sure what the cause is because I tried on many different campaign levels and it would do it on all of them. Like I said, not all the time but when it does crash it's over and over. PS I have I phone 6 and is currently up to date

This is a good game, like all other I play from handy games. I only play the WWll ones and Township. Please check my Township rating, I have a suggestion in it. Anyways, I like all the WWll games from handy games and play/have played them all, but I am only rating this one because I play it the most. Nice graphics and fluid gameplay along with very very tough AI. Not suggested for not so good at tactics people. Very good. Like in Township (This is the suggestion I mentioned earlier.)custom maps would be nice, but it would only affect my acting if I could give this game five stars! Keep it up Handygames!

I love this game and all of the sequels and predecessors, however there is one problem that I have. When playing the American campaign, on the 4th mission of Operation Island Thunder you have to unite the two units. However even when all of the units are in the same place, you still do not complete the objective and the mission is impossible to complete. This is the only problem I have and I hope that you guys can fix it.

I had a lot of fun playing every single mission in this game and it's satisfying to be promoted to higher ranks. It's very fun to command many units together. You can avoid the ads if you turn off cellular data for the app and you aren't using wifi.

Please put this into consideration to put a sandbox mode to where there's no limit to what you make and everything is free, and a mode to make your own map from scratch, Otherwise this game is fun

One of da best games I played BUT the stupid ads when I am done my turn and then it crashes the app but gameplay is 10/10 (btw guys there are tutorials between us army and Japanese army can't miss it unless ur blind)

1942 Pacific Front is the perfect sequel to an amazing game. The HandyGames team went all out on this one. The graphics have been improved, the interface is smoother, and the gameplay has been overhauled. If you thought 1941 Frozen Front had a lot to offer in terms of gameplay, just wait until you play 1942 Pacific Front. There are now much more infantry units, each with diverse abilities, strengths and weaknesses, such as the sniper, who is the ultimate infantry killer with a large range and attack against infantry, but is easily killed when attacked, especially by vehicles, and the engineer, who can deploy mines and set up MG nests, but has no attack capability on its own (it can still use bunkers and MG nests however). Unfortunately there aren’t as many vehicles as before, such as the tank destroyer and heavy tank, the all new naval units make up for that. No longer is the series restricted to land and air, but sea as well, with units such as the aircraft carrier, which can order in reinforcements such as ships, land and air units, as well as being able to carry aircraft (who could’ve seen that coming?). You’ll be able to learn and play around with all these units in the 6 campaigns for each faction, which may not sound like much at first, but each campaign has 5 missions, a huge upgrade from the first, which goes from naval combat to island landings. The newly improved tutorial ensures that you’ll be able to get an idea of how each unit works and their abilities, so you wont be lost in all the new features added into the game. I was kind of disappointed with how some vehicles which could’ve had much potential in this game, such as the LVT, M3 Halftrack (with the MG, not just as a transport or AA gun), Type 2 Ka-Mi, AT guns or more, they may have not had time to add those in. In conclusion, 1942 Pacific Front may possibly be the best one of the series, and although there are things to be desired, has many hours of fun in store.

This is a awesome game but it really needs a multiplayer mode other than pass and play. Please add LAN wifi, Bluetooth, Gamecenter, or "Quick Match" multiplayer options.

Avid lover of this game and I have had all the game on multiple devices for years. I purchased over $20 worth of gold over the years and one day the game wouldn’t skip to the next turn. I tested this multiple days for over a week and eventually decided on uninstalling and reinstalling the game but upon reinstallation it took away all of my gold. The restore purchases does nothing and I have looked up many ways to get my gold back to no avail. I use to love all of these games and the creators but I hate being scammed of real money on a mobile game.

WARNING ALL OF THESE DEVS GAMES ARE TRASH! It’s PAY TO PLAY! Everything you do costs gold and the only way to get gold is pay cash or “try” to watch videos for 10 gold each if they work!! Everything you do costs 100 gold, most units cost 1,000 - 2,000 gold.!!! Yes this means you spend 20 hours watching videos to buy one unit that dies instantly! You will need to spend 10,000 gold FOR EVERY MAP!! I’ve played some maps 20 times and get to the end to just loose the last troops I’ve had. It’s not designed for anyone to win unless you spend cash! STAY AWAY FROM ALL THEIR GAMES!

It’s a fun game and great concept but the developers only let you progress so far without paying against an enemy with infinite resources as on the 4th mission for the Americans the Japanese were able to pop up 3 planes immediately after the first 3 were destroyed several times and you don’t get much in terms of supplies. Which the enemy doesn’t seem to run out of. Which in turn leads you to having to deal with the god awful surveys that don’t give you anything.

This game is fun but it is missing something more missions we need more missions in this game please add like more operations like those like liberty wings can you please add more of those in this game it had not have an update in like five years please if you put a new update on this game I will give it five stars if you do it so please give this game and update I want one so badly

I downloaded this game just to check it out and it almost immediately took me to a screen asking me to pay $2.99. I closed this out and then tried to get out of the game by pressing the home button. However instead of taking me out of the game so I could close it out, it charged me the $2.99. I then had to carefully figure out how to exit the game without being charged another $2.99. I then immediately deleted the game from my phone before having even one second of play.

First, I was kind of tricked into paying for the game. When I clicked on the X that I thought would close the ad I was purchasing the remove advertisements add-on. That wouldn’t be so bad if I could then play the game. I am constantly killed, there is no setting for difficulty, and additional gold must be purchased to have enough firepower to win. Even the bone they threw is hollow, the option to “earn” gold by watching commercials only plays so often. All in all, give this game a pass.

The title says it all. The game has amazing bones, but it is balanced such that you cannot win if you are F2P. You’d think that the devs make enough money off of the 3 ads every 2 turns that they put you through, but you also have to hand over money for their stupid in-game currency to win, as the enemy always outnumbers you & does more damage than you.

You have to pay $2.99 to remove the ads, and then you have to pay more to get more gold. Especially considering the amount of gold it takes to repair units and get units. Other than that great game.

10 seconds in I get an ad and an ad pop up which by the way you can’t get rid of There’s a difference between putting ads (don’t do) and literally making a ad pop up that covers 1/5 of the screen and can not be deleted You have to spend money to win Another miss greedy developers. That’s not how you get people do spend money I guess you become developers to cheat good people out of there hard earned money, not to make fun games and make people happy, sigh... 🤷‍♂️

You pay $6.99 only to have interruptions for adds in the middle of play...plus the whole game is programmed to have your forces wiped out to incentivize you to “purchase more gold.” Totally geared to make money off you even after you purchase the game. Don’t waste your time or money.

Would be 4-5 stars if it wasn’t pay to win. Literally impossible to win a single match if you don’t buy gold or watch ads for it. Great concept and okay execution just extremely hard and in some parts unrealistic.

I gave up after about a week. The only real way to have any success is to spend money to buy gold, which is the only realistic way to get enough troops to have a chance. And that money goes quickly.

The screen is only half full and surrounded by adds and you have to pay to get rid of them. What a scam

I used the survey for free gold and did like 12 surveys and didn't get my 14k gold and i would like my gold spent a very long time on those surveys

It is to hard to be fun and in a different game you made as a tank that is American but it is Britain.

There are games that just want you to give them your credit card information, and then there is this game.... I rarely take the time to give a game a bad review.. But this game actually made me so angry I decided to take the time. Let's put it this way, to win any battle in this game relies on about 10% brains, and 90% how willing you are to spend actual money on it. After a round where my battleship... Yes a battleship.....ran out of ammunition this game drove me to delete it. I mean we all know the common dilemma of a huge battleship only carrying enough ammo to kill a couple enemy ships right? The sad part is, if the games developers weren't such greedy idiots... This game could have been really good. This game is a great example of why game developers should be really careful in how they drive to want to actually make an in app purchase. Total greed doesn't cut it... DELETED.

It's a good game and I enjoy it, but there a few things that need improvement. Firstly, I want my $3.99 back. The ads came back not 5 minutes later and keep doing so. Second, we need more units and abilities. Destroyers need torpedoes dang it! Without them they're just tin cans who kill subs. Submarines need a buff. You only do half damage before you're sunk. Cruisers need to be introduced, flat tops need more planes to start and dive bombers need to be put in. Flak also needs to be nerfed as it did not always hit. Battleship guns and armor need to be nerfed. This would be offset by torpedoes on DDs. The game is still barely playable though (provided you have money to spend on extra gold, mind you.)

As the allies the first three missions are fun but then joy quickly turns into misery when one single Japanese tank can take out 5 of the strongest tanks the Americans have to offer AND the rest of your units in the vicinity while only itself taking just about half damage. Also, buy this game knowing that you are expected to pay an additional fee of 3.99 in order to get rid of ads.

Enjoyable game to play.....very challenging! It's "free to try" but not to play. It takes $$$ if you want to see this through to the end.

Do you wanna do hundreds of surveys?! Well then this is the game for you! No but really, this is just another typical nice looking game with some INFURIATING money grabbing. I really like this game and what it's trying to do, but I'll wait when I have a few spare thousand bucks on me. TLDR: Don't download this, you'll just be disappointed.

Didn't even get through the tutorial. Visuals are impressive enough. It be came apparent very quickly that this game is all about in app purchases and less about strategy. So I turned it off and removed it. Turned out that somewhere along the line I unknowingly approved an in app purchase to remove ads. I am cheap and always very aware of my in app purchases but somehow this one slipped by me until I got my receipt. Underhanded approach in my opinion. Not Happy.
