Great but could be betterThis is a great game however it would be nice to see a few added things. Multiplayer, more content and stuff to do after you beat the game. First person looks really bad so it needs to be fixed. More character customization would be better. Different types of armor and weapons or class specific gear would be gear. Sneaking, pickpockets, and stealing items would be nice. More stuff to buy would be nice like houses and gear. Enchanting and making poisons would be cool. Quest trackers so I know where I'm going. Differences between different weapons. A description of what the effects do would be helpful. Anyways that's just a few. I hope to see more updates for this game! Awesome but...Well, I really like the improvements to visuals over Aralon. But there is a lot more to be added and a huge amounts of bugs to sort out. Like, if the soldiers fall into the water, they should be able to die. They can live like mer-people, indefinitely under the water. Add a little more diversity to conversation. Add newer visuals, add blacksmiths that can make weapons out of items YOU chose and give and decide on what type it should come out as. And let their be a significant cost and the ability to succeed or fail. Add sockets to weapons and armors. And add the ability to see what helm out character is wearing. Add a title for the heroic deeds. Add multiplayer. Add better steering and movement physics for our pets and rides. Like, why does the character keep bouncing up and down in the dragon? Seems like the same sprite was used as is for the horse. Add more pets and rides. So much to do, no? But this game is still epic in its own regard. Good and there is some adviceFirst, can you make a full screen support? The game can not fix my 13 pro max' s screen. Second, if there’re some extra bosses like the fire dragon in sword and shadow, I wouldn’t feel bored after running through the main story. Third, will you update this game and make it on arcade? Good but flawedIt is a good game, with the exception of some bugs, and a rather lackluster story. This is basically Aralon 1.5 with armor and weps not being locked behind classes. A few things bugged me however, aside from well the bugs, why exactly is there no helms? Or at least visible helms? Why do all the character models for male players look like old men despite the fact that they are supposed to be teens? Why do the elven players have digitigrade legs in the menus? Played and re-played it for years!I really love this game. It's one of the few I've kept and never deleted. I've played all the way through it 3 times already using different classes. I'm trying the Mage class this time, but I honestly don't think it can be done. I'm very, very early in the game and it's almost impossible to complete a quest because it's so hard to kill anything. Maybe it's like D&D, when the magic classes always start out weak, but end up as some of the most powerful characters. Solid GameIf you liked Aralon: Sword and Shadow, you will enjoy this installment as well. Not much in terms of gameplay changed, besides a few small things like fireplaces to cook food at or whatnot. The graphics are better, and the skilltrees for each class are still pretty great. The stody starts off much worse than sword and shadow, but picks up a bit halfway through and ultimately is a lot less cliche than the 1st game’s: “Get these items to defeat evil demon guy.” The amount of gameplay in this for an iphone is astounding honestly, and it is a good amount of fun. There are tons of sidequests, a simple law system, and some other cool world stuff like in the first game. Glad i bought it but...Yes it is a great RPG,I've been playing RPG's since the 80's so to find one this good for iPhone was nice. I couldn't put it down,but then i hit lvl 37 and weird stuff started happening. First it dropped my character to default "playersname" no biggie,but still.. Then i enter a cave that had high level baddies in it I exit the back entrance and boom I'm transported back to one of the low level caves at beginning of game near first town i go back in and no joy same lo lvl cave. Also the quest to get lock picks,"a dirty job" i kill the bad guy,go back to get reward and the guy that gave me the quest attacks me,kill him and no lock pick, and havent found any way to get a lock pick yet 75% of chests outside caves are locked. And yes i reloaded previous saves trying to resolve this important quest and no joy. And theres two more broken quest later in game tho they are low-level side quests. The game great has graphics (for iPhone) and controls are smooth and menus for upgrades etc are ez to navigate and figure out. But for more experienced RPG folks,the game gets kind of easy,you level up quick and i found a 145 dmg Ax very early that turned into a one whack kill from lvl 9-25 and even higher levels baddies still no problem. Negative reviews are kinda overkillConsidering the state of mobile RPG's this title is GREAT. It's basically a bit better, IMO, than ravensword 2--and that's saying a lot. I finished the first Aralon and Ravensword 2. Given my experience with these two I can safely say that Aralon 2 has kinda knocked it out of the park. ONLY issue I can mention simply for sake of giving constructive feedback, is that the NPC's are all a bit too similar. And many say exactly the same thing. I walked around Taryn Ridge (town in game) and went into all houses. 90% of them had the same farmer saying "hello" with exactly same inflection. Was very repetitive and silly. Other than that though, so far, I've been quite impressed. I've enjoyed myself while playing and I'm pretty sure I'll finish the game. Great game - with some bugsAs mentioned by other reviewers, the lockpick quest is bugged, no way to get it. And at higher levels, the caves randomly transport you back to the beach when you exit the cave - specifically arachnid cave did this with constant success, and a few others did this as well. The game is a little short. I expected longer play time, and although it was fun the whole play through, there is little left to do once you finish the last quest. Finding items for the mage was more miss than hit - fighter types there are items galore - not so for mage. All the best items are all chest items, and the only way to get alot of items for mage are through chests. Maybe this would have been a difference if you could actually pick locks with the lockpick quest. overall - i loved this game. I would love to see the bugs fixed, and some after main quest branch play added - and some vendors to use the gold that you amass would be great as well. Wonderful game!This game is proof that premium titles are so much better than freemium ones. Instead of different sectors used to set up pay walls and to impede progress, this game offers different lands that are so beautiful one wants to progress in order to explore them. Instead of a convoluted upgrade system with 5 different types of currencies designed to confuse you into making the wrong "currency" choices, this game has an elegant and powerful character upgrade system that allows you to customize the adventure. Instead of chapters or episodes that can only be unlocked if you give a little money here and a little money there, one price gives you a fun story that makes you want to keep coming back to the game. Good RPG, but way too many bugsThis game seemed to be pretty fun at first, but when I got to Taryn Ridge, I found a quest you can't complete. I found a ton more bugs other than that too, but I can't list all of them. When I just innocently stole something, the second I leave this person's house, every guard is after me, and when one of them killed me, I spawned in the house I stole the items from again. So I leave the house, and, again, every guard is after me. I can't do anything about it because I haven't saved since the beginning of the game! The only thing I could think of was to sail somewhere else, but the person who you have to talk to in order to leave was treading water in circles. All bad reviews asideWhat everyone is saying about being trapped in the first cave is true but it doesn't happen all to frequently. I had a save after the tutorial but I wanted to see if the cave bug was still there. It happened once on my other device so I deleted and re installed which helped on my end. It's okI was really excited for this game and it's finally here but there are 2 problems I'm experiencing in the game, 1: the character customization well there's only one face opinion for each race, and you look like you have a grumpy 50 year olds face on the male human. 2: I did 2 specific missions involving in an inn or bar and the person I am sent to speak to is hostile and in the first town I went to the quest giver he gave me a quest to go kill the target and I went to the place where I could find the target but he was friendly so I chose to just attack the guy like I was suppose and returned to the quest giver and he attacked me. Alright, but needs a few changesFirstly the combat needs to be more like Ravensword 2, mainly 1st person bow and lock picking. But also sword too, currently combat is clunky and not very fun. One thing that made Ravensword 2 such a great game was the combat, especially the ability to aim and control release of your bow. Too easy and unbalancedI enjoyed playing this but was surprised that it was over so soon. The story is kinda bland. Not much customization. There are things in game that seem pointless. Quick playing funThis game doesn't feel as expansive as the earlier Aralon or the Ravenswords or Shadowsun. But I ended up playing it more times-through trying different characters. It's not very difficult, without a lot of plot choices, more a "casual" rpg. A difficulty option would be a good addition. Biggest bug? DisappointingI've played both Aralon: Sword and Shadow and Ravensword: Shadowlands, and I can say that this game doesn't meet the same standard that those other 2 IOS games set for mobile rpg games. There were already so many flaws in just the first 10 minutes of gameplay, I just deleted the app out of disgust. It is sad to say that the first Aralon game is much better than this one. Hostile npcs ruin questsI loved the first game and was so excited to see the second one on the App Store. However, they really need to do a little more work here. The intro dialogue needs to be skipable. There is a serious problem where npcs will be flagged as hostile during quests so all you can do is kill them and then you are left with the quest being incomplete. Extremely frustrating in a game like this to be stuck on quests due to a bug. I don't even want to keep playing since I'm sure this character who is already lvl 22 will have to be deleted once they fix the bugs and have to start over to be able to do all of the quests. Very annoying!The avatar moves at such an agonizing slow pace when running and swimming. There is no "sprint" button. There's also no "jump" button to get out of those ledges that the avatar SHOULD be able to climb up! Also, why is there no quest marker to help guide us toward our next objective?! Game Crash!!!!!!!!!!Aralon is a fun game with lots of mystical creatures and a stunning main Character. The main goal of the game is to get revenge on your dead dad who was killed by some bad people...After (MIGHT BE A SPOILER ALERT) killing the main bad guy... I exited out of Aralon and left it for a day, to return to it again. I logged on it, and when it asked my what account I wanted to use. I clicked my account and went into the game to find out I was in a weird realm where I was swimming in nothingness and had no way of escaping. The game crashed and I no longer have my account that I worked on for so long!!!! Cannot leave CallaheimI give this game 1 star due to odd bugs and being stuck in Callaheim. I have completed all the quests and cannot find the second harbor master next to the boat to take me to the next land. I know he should be as I've watched a number of walkthroughs to try to figure out what I might and might not be doing. And, the harbor master to take me to Taryn Ridge is under water with another city guard. No help or support to think of. Had similar experience with Exiles. DisappointingWhere to begin? I'll start with the graphics, which are just barely passable. The lighting is murky and makes everything look like plastic. Looting has been reduced to tapping a target and automatically taking everything it held. Objective markers of any sort have been removed, and there's no way of telling which NPCs give out quests without chatting to each of them. Unskippable dialogue. Obtuse, sloppy UI. No way to reorganize the HUD. Useless first-person mode. Slippery camera controls. And stiff, interruptive animations. Dont get me wrong but...First off i love this game series. Despite all its flaws, the glitches, and well everything. If you have played ravensword or the first one, stop what you are doing & play those first. I am disappointed because the bugs should have been checked first. Amazing!!! Except...The sound is a bit on and off for the dialogues. Also the sound effects like footsteps or the puddle splashing is out of sync :/ it makes a splashing sound like 1.5seconds after I've stepped on it or just passing by it. Has some serious issues!Aside from the dismal graphics and re-hashed soundtrack, there are some major flaws to the actual gameplay. By that I mean there are actual parts of the game that do not play out as they should, so quests cannot be completed, such as tools or information that have to be used, yet are not provided. How can you enter a cave, turn around and exit it to find yourself on the other side of the map? I really loved the original Aralon, as well as Ravensword, but this seems to be badly thrown together. Really bad compared to the first oneThis second instalment is so bad compared to the first one, it feels like the developer just wanted to make some quick cash. The graphic of the name did not improve at all. The game play is same as before except you can't zoo out far enough that's comfortable.
