Great app, lackluster on iOSI’ve been using this app on Android for years and love it for all of its functionality.
It’s disappointing on an iPad, missing things like AGPS, sensor readouts, strength bars, etc. Some of this may be due to how Apple locks down the hardware, but some of it seems due to the developer not having quite gotten all the work put into it they did for the Android version. Still getting acquainted with device.As already stated you can not get to the setting window to configure the Apps to your needs. Second the altitude appears to be way off. I live on coastal N. Carolina and the altimeter reads 23 meter, 3 times higher then the other apps. Most important is iTune Store states that the app will work on iPad and that is the reason I purchased it. I intened to use this for astronomy and therefore need accurate heading and altitude on the larger iPad screen.

Missing featuresFor a $3 app that’s free for Android, it has less features. Setting for units and satellites are hidden and not easy to find. Still can’t see how many satellites I’m bouncing location from. Additionally, there’s no option to view the data in UTM..Mjroth99Version: 1.1.2
GO TO PHONE SETTINGSThere is no settings menu in the app, because that aint how ios works. Coming from android I too was confused but thank god i saw a review that said to go to the phone settings. Sure enough all of the settings are there. I do agree that the guide should tell you that but the app as a whole works just like the android version. DisappointedJust got a new phone. Went from Android to iPhone and I liked the GPS Status Pro I had. Version 9.2.194. I had an old Samsung galaxy S6 Active, android 7.0

Great app I have been using for yearsThis is a great app I have been using for years on both Android and IOS phones. One feature I, and many other Geocachers, would love to see is GPS averaging. The ability to take many samples of the coordinates and then average them for the best possible coordinates when placing Geocaches.

Limited functionality on iPhoneI read the User Guide on the developers website before purchasing this app and was attracted by the Sensor Diagnostic capability. However on the iPhone version it seems that that don't offer that capability as none of the Sensor Data is displayed. This is misleading, they should at least indicate that this feature is missing from the iOS version. The GPS signal strength bar is also missing from the iOS version. I switched from Android to iOS and really liked the android version. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased the ios GPS Status and Toolbox. The user manual is for the android version. There isn't an iOS version I would guess due to the lack of functioning features !!!
No Satalites, no access to settings, no reset, viewing the android next to the ios version they don't match........
I haven't seen any response from support here which indicates that they know the problems and can't or won't fix them. If a fix was coming they would be letting us know !!
I wouldn't purchase it again. I don't know about their other products but this one isn't working as advertised.

TerribleCompared with the Android version I’ve been using for years, this is awful. No battery info, no DOP/HDOP/VDOP, no brightness, no pressure, no steps. No settings other than those in the settings app, so no compass calibration, no calibrate pitch/roll, no management of GPS state, no sensor diagnostics, no themes.
I’m not entirely sure what the $2.99 was for...
