SECURITY FEATURES
• All data is encrypted, including Entry names, Category definitions and the data itself.
• Encrypts data using AES or Blowfish algorithms with key sizes of 256, 192 or 128 bits.
• When the data file is decrypted, up to all combinations of algorithm and key size are tried with the Master password to unlock the data file. The app itself does not store any hint to the actual cipher, key size or cipher mode of operation.
• Uses a randomly generated 'salt' combined with the Master password. Salt helps to protect from off-line dictionary attacks.
• The key to open the data file is created by combining your master password with the 512-bit 'salt'. The result is hashed 1000 times by SHA-256. Repetitive hashing makes a brute force attack more difficult.
• Supports auto destruction of the data file after a predefined number of unsuccessful unlocks have been tried.

Amazing support from Petr!I have to make this review. I've been using Awallet for years and just today I got a glitch after updating to the latest version. It stopped recognising my pro paid version. Emailed Awallet and swift replies from Petr who went through all emails back and forth trying to figure this out. Finally, he suggested to me to reinstall the app and restore from cloud. It was working again! Great stuff! Love this app. So guys, get this app! Worth the dollars..Version: 8.7.0
Great Password AppI needed a replacement for my previous password app that was no longer being supported. I didn’t need all the bells and whistles that also auto fill passwords or that gave me features I would never use. aWallet Password Manager fills the bill for being both simple and easy to use, yet powerful enough to be customized in a way that makes it a great app. I would give this app 5 stars, if only there was an option to export and/or backup to email. Having to use iTunes to access this file is both cumbersome and difficult to follow. So, please add option to export or backup to email. Features that would be nice (but don’t impact my score are: 1) Ability to add ID cards and/or credit card images. 2) More colorful icons for categories instead of the drab gray ones. 3) The ability to access web icons from a website if a URL is used. 4) The ability to add a colorful icon to item itself (not just a category). And while I made suggestions here, this is an AWESOME app that makes it easy and quick to save and access your passwords in a secure way!.Version: 8.6.0
Free versionI don’t know how many times this app as saved me, with passwords that expire and ones that have been auto saved for so long you forget what it was last. I was worried that I had to reload all my information when I upgraded iPhone; I was happy that I didn’t need too. Simple but Very EffectiveI have been using aWallet Password for years and would definitely recommend this product. Great value, no monthly or yearly fee. Not as many features as some of the password managers out there but works great for storing and organizing passwords. This app collects no personal data and doesn’t require online access, therefore seems very secure..Version: 9.0.0
Best Password appThis is the best app to store all of the usernames and passwords. Very user friendly to set up in various categories. I recently purchased the app so I would not lose my information if something happened to my phone. With all of the usernames and passwords we have this is must have app and I suggest purchasing it. Ten stars for app, privacy and developer.UPDATE 6/27/22: I love that everyone in my family sharing (provided by Apple as an option through your Apple ID) can use the app and each person maintains privacy of their own app, sign in, categories, and personal passwords. There is no sharing of information between the apps on each phone, and my information is secure from any prying eyes. I have used the plain Awallet app for at least 8 or more years with no issues and love the complete privacy this app affords me. I recently switched from an android phone to iOS because of privacy issues. I already used the app frequently, as every app, online order, school, etc., requires you to have an account and password and you can’t use the same one everywhere and expect privacy. My need for the app increased tenfold when trying to get into other apps and accounts on the new phone. This is when the developer showed his outstanding commitment to customer service repeatedly the past two days. My android phone was an older model and I currently do not have access to a computer, which is another reason why I bought the IPhone. However, downloading the backup file to a computer was impossible and I didn’t have the ability to use cloud in the basic version. I emailed back and forth with the developer and despite his quick responses and detailed instructions, my old phone and no computer made it impossible for me to transfer the data. This morning I asked him one more question, “How could I back up the data so the Awallet Cloud version could access it?’. He again quickly answered with step-by-step instructions, so I purchased the Awallet Cloud Password Manager. It was purchased just to get the password manager to my IPhone and in less than 5 minutes it was a complete success. Now I can wipe the memory off the android. Most people have much newer phones, so my issues would be very rare. But, if you do have an older phone, it is possible to transfer your information between android and iOS. I spent a measly $8 extra to upgrade the app and I now have every category I ever added for my own personalization needs. This app is one no person can do without. No, it’s not fancy, but it couldn’t be more private and isn’t that what you want in a password manager?.Version: 8.7.0
Can’t figure how to transfer filesI have not been able to transfer the csv files that I moved from my android phone to my windows pc to my iPad so I have a backup if I love or destroy my phone. EDIT: I received a response from the editor, Petr, within minutes of sending an email, and he stayed with me until it was resolved. Very good customer service and tech help.Version: 8.7.0
Restore FailureI wasted my money. Worked perfect on my Android. But has issue that will not allow import of csv or backup password files unless they are located in iTunes directory. Not very convenient coming from android..Version: 7.5.1
