Please fix Immediately!I used to be obsessed with the Adidas app as one of the best apps if not the best. It’s ease of use, richness and very fluid.
However, a recent update to the app is not only driving me nuts, it maybe actually causing the brand to lose sales. This is because when people can’t easily find what they are looking for, they are bound to just exit and move on. Ain’t nobody got time for nonsense. I noticed the new update of adidas app does not let you view your order history and be able to reorder that same item through the order history dashboard.
I ordered an item and my friend wanted me to reorder the same item for him. I went to my order history and clicked the item, it showed but would not display in such away to be able to view the item for reorder in such a way to be able to pick the size and view different photos or colors of the item. I had to memorize the item names, exit the order dashboard and search the item using the item name. This is not the case with web view. This issue is only on the app. Honestly, whoever made this update in this way should have their brain examined. This is stupid and annoying. I redeemed some of my Adidas points for a 20% off voucher and when I went to check out on my order I could not find my voucher anywhere in the app so I called an Adidas store and the representative tried to walk me through, finding my voucher with no avail, who then directed me to call the customer service number I called the customer service number and she could not find the voucher either. However, she did see that I had redeemed some points for a 20% off voucher she advised me that she could not do a 20% off voucher but she would email me one for 30% off my order. I thought to myself Wow, I’m glad I called customer service to get help because I came out even better by calling them! Rude customer serviceI called to ask about an item i purchased 3 days ago that went on sale for 1/2 the price. Better Drop SystemFirst off I just want to thank the Adidas team for making a good product. I’ve been an Adidas member for some time and I have to say if there’s a shoe that I want, Adidas does a more fair job of allowing regular consumers who are loyal fans and been using the product a chance to win. They do drawings or drops at different times of the day, which makes it harder for bots or resellers to get all the shoes everyday people want for a fair price. If the shoe they anticipate is more coveted they don’t advertise it as much and change the process from the typical Nike 7am drop that is too predictable and frustrating. When people wake up or have been supporting the brand for awhile you want and expect retailers to give those shoppers a chance to get the shoes they want (reward the loyal fans). UltraBoostI am very pleased with the items I purchased, however, I had a lot of difficulty completing the actual transaction. On my first few attempts, the credit card I was attempting to use wouldn’t get authorized. I got in touch with the credit card company to let them know the purchase was a valid transaction and they notified me the reason it wasn’t being authorized was because the billing address didn’t line up to their records. I made the switch but still had no success. I eventually changed the payment to a different card and the transaction went through. This caused me to have to purchase a pair a half size up as the original size was out of stock. I love the product itself and what Adidas offers, but it would’ve been helpful to talk with a support team to solve this issue in a faster manner. Honestly ehhhI like adidas but there are some issues. Try delivering the packages without letting the package scream that it’s an adidas box with logos on the labels please. Not everyone lives in pleasantville. I had a package stolen during the lockdown and got screwed so I had to buy it again. Another issue I’m having is that on my 12 pro max all of a sudden I cannot locate any stores within my area to schedule a pickup. I’m being forced to pay $5. GlitchyThe website would be perfect but it constantly freezes up and glitches, even when I turned off protections and tried shopping thru my private browser! Great ExperienceI wanted to look for new cleats as the new soccer season was starting up and I needed a new pair, but when I went to look in stores I found nothing that particularly hooked me. After that I decided to try shopping online at the Adidas online store. Just for signing up for the membership program for free I was able to access free delivery and a rewards program. After this I tried searching for a new pair of cleats but didn’t know where to start so I looked at the search bar and realized that there was a refine results option where I specifically customized my wants for a new pair of cleats and ended up with several different options to choose from. I use this app to purchase all of my running shoes. I have saved up a large number of loyalty points, subscribe to their newsletters, and regularly receive promotional emails for discounts ranging from 20 to 35%.
But you know what? NONE OF THEM are ever allowed to be used on any of my purchases. I always pay full price. Why do I show this company such loyalty, when they show me none? Enjoy... but...I enjoy Adidas products but there’s two things stand out that as a socially and physically active customer, I’m not fully aware of how accrued points work as far as product perq’s/discounts go. Also, as a runner, OCR athlete, HIIT group participant, I have found that shoes with stability (i.e., stabilization in the show heel) is extremely effective. But Adidas does not seem to have good running/training shoes with stability as a standout feature, except for maybe 1 or 2 models. I would imagine that there would be more purely because Adidas is a leader in active and even fashionable foot and outer wear.

Service is great versus websiteI rather felt forced to turn to the app because it wouldn’t allow me to buy my shopping cart online, but no matter, when I used the app it was an enjoyable experience.

Beware of shipping and customer service after orderMade an order 12/08 for a pair of shorts and 2 pairs of shoes around Black Friday time. Received the shorts, but the shoes were stuck at FedEx facility in Bloomington for 8 days no scan for tracking. I called multiple times throughout that time frame about the order and was assured my order would come in and it was in express transit. 1 day later, Come to find out that was not the case and my package was now considered "lost" they had to issue a refund 2 days before Christmas. To note: Adidas uses fedex as a shipper, and they basically have zero control of anything once they ship out THEIR products. So you can’t contact the FedEx facility Adidas does and they are basically useless until the refund process is started. They will DOUBLE charge your credit card to make sure YOU have the funds, but will not deliver on THEIR products and be basically worthless in ensuring your items get to you UNLESS YOU CALL THEM REPEATEDLY (5 times) ABOUT YOUR ORDER. So in other words you will be doing half of customer services job for them, while they spew back the same tracking information you can see for yourself. Glitch Central... Payment process is horrible.I sincerely hope that a company such as Adidas doesn’t think there handling of the Ivy Park drops are acceptable. The app is glitchy and the system overall, whether on the app or the webpage is not reliable for any drop. Thousands of people post via social media about lack of transparency in time of drops (bc we actually have jobs to work around your random schedule), the inability to preview the items a few days ahead instead during the stampede of people trying to purchase, and the lack of a complete process for when your system will or will not accept a payment. Products ok. Customer Sevice, noWe ordered products on Cyber Monday and the order was taking forever to arrive, so we tracked the order, only to find out it was shipped with Ontrac. The order was showing delayed for 4 days with no updates. Then one day we got an email saying the order was delivered the day prior, which it was not, which was why we had been tracking it. We reached out to the shipping company, sort of, they don’t actually have any customer service phone numbers, just an automated system. They claimed the order was delivered, which as someone that works from home and my office overlooks our front door area, so I knew for a fact it had not been. When we made no progress with the shipper we reached out to Adidas. Their response was the shipper says it was delivered, your problem, take it up with them. After doing research on ontrac trying to find a phone number to talk to a real person, the results were astonishing. Not only did I not find a usable phone number anywhere on their website, or elsewhere, but the reviews from multiple sources, including Yelp pretty much tells the same story of what we were experiencing, tons of packages claimed to be delivered but never were, literally all with the exact same response. So yes, the issue is with the shipper that is falsely claiming to deliver products that they never are, but Adidas is choosing to do business with them, which does make this their problem that they are ignoring. Only one Starr because none was not an optionI was shopping online. I’ve been trying for months to get the masks. Always sold out! Take my money please...?I have no clue why, and I have escalated this with Adidas, but most of the time their payment system will not accept my payment. I have tried multiple cards over Apple Pay, and manually entering the information, I have contacted my financial institutions (I have used cards from different banks to be certain) to ensure the cards are not locked and capable of processing the payment, I have ensured that I have 3-10X the necessary money in the instances where I have attempted to use a debit card, I have even created a new account in adidas to make sure that is not the issue. Missing merchandiseBought some shirts and track pants from adidas. Never received it, I contact them and they tell me it’s FedEx’s fault. I contact FedEx and they say adidas has to file a claim. Contact adidas and they say I have to file a claim. I file the claim, FedEx needs serial numbers off of all the merchandise, a photocopy of the FedEx ground pickup record, and for me to fax it to them. How would I have access to any of this? They don’t know anything, very bad experienceI have placed an order on April 17th it went through as I thought but I have received no information on my gmail on how it’s always is online. Two days later I sow on my bank they took my money it was august 19th. 5 days later I contacted them to know what’s going on and why I have no information about my purchase. Quality DownturnLike many other companies, their focus is no longer on providing quality products and services, but securing your purchases and gathering your data. It’s worth noting that as soon as you install the app and open it, you’re bombarded with requests to track your location, track your usage across apps, and send you notifications—all in the name of “helping” you they assure.
Minor criticisms aside, I’ve noticed a DRASTIC decline in quality over the years. I’m a long-term customer who’s ascended the rewards rankings and even exclusively purchased their athletic wear for years. All this to say I very rarely choose adidas now. Their socks used to be my go-to. Now, you can notice poor stitching before putting them on for the first time—it’s no wonder they tear apart after a few wears. Clothing has gotten even worse. They haven’t been as breathable and also have noticeable stitching issues.
Going back to rewards, their program used to be so much more robust and fulfilling as a long time customer. Gone are the $10-$20 off coupons (that would sometimes even be enough to net you a free product) and in are the % off coupons. Only thing is that it takes hundreds of dollars in purchases to earn such coupons. Even worse, they don’t apply to most popular products. This seems to be by design, and it’s rather unfortunate that your business isn’t respected enough to let you get any of the products that are even worthwhile.

Frustrated Adidas CustomerI placed an order in the beginning of September and have yet to receive the completed order with only a “it’s in processing” explanation.
I originally ordered two pair of Adidas Train Essentials Woven Training Shorts, a pair of Lite Racer 4.0 running shoes and a pair of Gazelle shoes. With the order being confirmed I then received an email about a week later saying that the running shorts were cancelled. I then received some time later a pair of Children’s High Top basketball sneakers and when following up Customer Service said they filled the order correctly. I had to take a picture and email it to Customer Service and send back the shoes as verification. This resulted in a delay of the Gazelle shoes which I have yet to receive. I inquired about the Lite Racer 4.0 shoes and was told they had shipped but I didn’t receive them until a month after the order. Here it is October 11th and I have still yet to receive the Gazelle shoes.
After complaining I was given a $25 gift voucher and and a 25% off voucher that I was told I could use together on a pair of Superstar shoes. After calling Customer Service now I am told I cannot combine the two items. I do appreciate the vouchers but the Customer Service and processing orders has been time consuming on both our parts and that’s not acceptable. I have been wearing Adidas shoes and clothing since the early 70’s and yes I am over 60 years old but have been and hope to continue to be a loyal Adidas supporter.

Utter IT incompetenceHard to believe a massive retailer like adidas can have such flawed payment systems. Wasted so much time trying to buy online. Was unable to process payments from two different cc. (I called cc company and they said problem not on their end). When I called a spoke to adidas agent she said it was problem on adidas end. Great App Aesthetically, Bad for purchasingI downloaded the app and expected it to work as smoothly as Nike's app for both viewing items and purchasing. For viewing Adidas products and getting information, the app is flawless; although for purchasing items it is horrendous. I saw others are experiencing the same issues. I tried to purchase a single pair of shoes; at first attempted PayPal four times, each time the transaction portion just timed out and I had to start over. Terrible serviceI placed an order for a women’s jacket, women's pants, and some socks. The shipping was quick, but when I opened the package there was a pair of boy shorts and a men’s t-shirt, neither of which was an item that I had ordered. Shipping really really BAD you’ve been WARNED!In November 2024 and again in January, I made several purchases from Adidas. They had switched from using FedEx to a new carrier, OnTrac, and it was a complete disaster. My shipments would show as “loaded on truck” for weeks without ever being delivered.
I reached out to Adidas and explained that my packages were just sitting in limbo. They told me to wait a week to see if they’d eventually be delivered. A few days later, the tracking updated to “delivered”—but nothing was ever left on my stoop. I have security cameras, so I know for a fact that no delivery was made.
This first incident happened in November. After following up again with Adidas, they said OnTrac would conduct an investigation. It took three months to finally receive my refund.
In January, I placed another order during a great sale, and the exact same thing happened. Once again, no delivery. I told Adidas I didn’t want OnTrac used for my shipments, but they said they had no control over which carrier is chosen once an order is placed.
Before November 2024, I never had a single issue. But now? I won’t be purchasing from this app again unless they cut ties with OnTrac.

Completely disregard the app for shipping estimatesI paid for express delivery as the app estimated I would get the shoes I ordered on 9/13 before a trip I was going on 9/14. After my order they then sent me a congratulatory email that my order was expected early on 9/12. Great. I then checked the app and it estimated I’d get my shoes on 9/11. Fantastic.

Don’t trust with your credit card!Made a purchase on adidas with Apple Pay. A few days later I start getting fraudulent thousand dollar charges on my credit card. Adidas tried charging me THOUSANDS for orders I didn’t place, and it was a bug in their software! No apology, no proactive communication, no update on if the issue is resolved. I inadvertently clicked the wrong size, and as soon as I noticed the error when I received the confirmation email, I tried to correct the mistake. I spoke with two people, one on their chat feature, and one on the phone, and was told by both of them there was NOTHING that could be done. This is not about the app, it is about the loyalty programAdidas loyalty program makes zero sense, you earn points to reach levels (1 to 4), they give you some perks like vouchers and “first access” kind of thing, but there’s no way to use those points for other things like exchange them for garments or accessories. Also, the points expire, what’s the reason for that? They don’t tell, so good luck trying to understand that weird policy. If that were not weird enough if you ask for a size exchange points get deducted from your account like if you’re asking for a refund, you receive the exchange and all, but the points never come back. The “Points history” feature in the app is useless, it doesn’t show you how many points expired, if the points are being credited back if a mistake happened, etc.

Terrible NavigationThe app will open retail links from the browser, or at least try to, it often fails and just takes you to a general page. So a browser click on a link doesn’t even take you to the product in anyway it just redirects you to a landing page on the app. On top of that when you get to a product if you select a shoe size, then select a different color even if the shoe is in stock for both colors and sizes, it will change the size you selected making you re-select your size, why? Worst shopping app I’ve ever used!!!This is by far the worst, most frustrating, and most inefficient shopping app I have ever used.
The app itself is extremely slow, constantly fails to load, and basic functions like returns often don’t work at all. I have wasted an unreasonable amount of time trying to return items.
On a previous return, the app showed a drop-off location, but when I arrived, the staff told me they had no access to process returns. I contacted customer service, and they gave me two different addresses. I drove to both locations, only to be turned away again. I finally had to drive over six miles to another location just to complete the return — and I even had to pay extra for packaging.
Now I’m facing the same issue again. One of my packages has already been delivered, but the app and website do not show any return option at all. This issue is still unresolved.
Customer service is extremely slow to respond, requires long wait times, and fails to provide effective solutions. Overall, this app makes simple tasks unnecessarily complicated and stressful.

Not user friendlyThis app is awful. It’s really difficult and challenging to find where you want to go. And it’s really cumbersome to find my basket. I constantly delete this app and only reinstall when I have to pay with my credit card. Too many issues with trying to pay with my credit card and saying my payment is declined . Recently…I’ve been an avid Adidas fan for several years, and I’ve loved their app.
But recently, the overall customer experience has really gone down hill.
Firstly, the removal of the release calendar from the app has made it essentially useless. All of the information I need is on the website, and the website has a better layout.
Even the “app exclusive” offers or releases don’t work. When I get a notification for a restock or drop, more often than not the app crashes or the drop doesn’t even show up.
As a Canadian Adidas client, it feels like we’ve been left out and the recent changes to the app have been a perfect example of that..AetridVersion: 4.16
