App is great but without ya can’t chargeI don’t like to give anything less than 5 stars as viewers believe to have REAL life experiences. But without the app most of their stations do not run! I have a car rental that I wasted most of my experiences on because of bad charging issues. I love electric vehicles but I hate when the stations are not properly maintenanced or users are not friendly to how to properly put back devices for others to enjoy! If you are smart enough to rent or own one be considerate to others, please!!! I couldn’t get the regular process of putting in my credit card to make it work. So I had to establish an account… I am seriously parked right in front of the machine. And in matter of minutes an idiot just takes it and said, ‘ oh you weren’t using it!!!! I couldn’t because the system says it uses credit card transactions but wasn’t having it… Please be considerate to others. I’m serious parked in the stall and how they took it away is insane!!! But I should have been able to just swiped my card to work and it, the machine, wasn’t having it!!! Needs ImprovementNeeds an apples virtual wallet card. When you first sign up, it gives you the option to add it to your wallet but then when you decide later on that you want to add to your Wallet, it is no longer available to you. You then have to order a card that comes in the mail. Who wants to wait for a card in the mail no one! Then the vehicle that you add on into the app doesn’t even show up on your app on your end but Customer Service can see it. Which is useless to you. After inputting the type of EV car you have you still have to go in and find the charger port that belongs to your vehicle and the map still doesn’t show you accurate EV points you can go to half of them don’t even exist. This is highly upsetting and frustrating time when you go to a point of and it does not exist. Hopefully no one gets stranded trying to find an EV charger that does not exist. Could be better for first time usersI am a new EV owner and this was my first time using an EVgo charger. I had set up my EVgo account in advance and added my vehicle in the “Vehicles/autocharge+” section of the app. So, I was perplexed when my vehicle did not begin automatically charging when I plugged it in. I tried tapping Autocharge+ on the EVgo charger interface but that didn’t do anything. Eventually, I figured out by reading more about Autocharge+ on the EVgo website that just because I had added my vehicle, it didn’t mean my vehicle was compatible. Apparently, if it was compatible, then there would have been an additional prompt when I added it to the app. This is way too subtle and confusing given that you add your vehicle to a section of the app called Autocharge+. Also, as a first time user, it was not apparent how to start a charging session in the app. It was not obvious that the chargers all had names and that you had to tap the type of charging cable you wanted to use under the name of the charger you wanted to use..JpsullivanVersion: 9.4.0

Happy to see has come a long way since early versionsIt’s great to see the app has been improved and perfected over the years. It has been very reliable and the functionality is great including access to billing and account information. The only suggestions are to change is having the map automatically adjust zoom to show the nearest station. This means if you open the map it should show the nearest charging station even if the nearest one is a bit far. The other suggestion is showing voltage and amps in real time on the app. This is a big sore point with the whole fast charging infrastructure. Usage is charged by the minute but yet I have no indication as to how much I’m getting for my money. I understand it’s likely the vehicle electronics that choose to limit the output to the battery depending on temperature and other factors but at least let me be informed so I can determine if I will be getting my money’s worth or not..Nelson NedVersion: 5.5.12

Too many broken chargersApp works well, but there's just too many broken chargers. Most of the time the app is updated but there's certainly occasions where I've had to move to multiple open stalls to find a working charger even though the app says they're all online. I know that applies less to the app than the company, but the app itself could be 5 stars if it had ETAs on repairing broken units and was more up to date. As for the company, why does it takes weeks to months to fix a charger? Also, busted chargers should be indicated better so car after car doesn't pull in to try it, and getting frustrated. Maybe an LED on top you can see when approaching. Red (or off) for broken (not online), green for working, and blue for in use/reserved. Quick plug & charge option is clutch!I’ve been an EV owner for 3 months & have been exposed to several charging station brands. EVgo is BY FAR the easiest to use. I set up the option for me to just pull out the plug from the station & plug it into my car & it automatically recognizes my ride & starts charging! There are other brands where I need to whip out my phone to use the app to even get the plug out of the charging station (it’s so annoying & often times time consuming). Plus, EVgo has a TON of fast charging stations. I’m typically driving to areas 1-2 hours away & it always bring me joy to find an EVgo fast charging near by & next to places I can chill/eat/shop while my ride charges. Problems fixedApp went from not useful to now only needing a few tweaks. I have not recently experienced inability to initiate charge at any station in last 4 months, an earlier problem. - it would be nice to go directly to charger instead of drilling down through menus. Slow cellular slows down the process. You can favorite a station, but not a charger - it would be nice to get charging level from app. App is already talking to station for time and connection. Why not grab the %? I can get it from car’s app, but have to use car’s 3G cellular and it has its own drill down and uptime issues. - it would be nice if app showed the running total of the fee. App is good but stations are unreliableOverall happy with the app functionality. The main issues I have is the connection between the app and the stations are often times unreliable. Many times I couldn’t connect to the stations even though the app says it’s available and sometimes the app says it’s charging but soon after got disconnected because the stations giving out error message. A few minutes later I tried again and sometimes it would work and sometimes not. Also sometimes the status shown on the stations don’t always match the status on the app, which makes me think it’s more of a connection issue through the cloud network. App does not accurately reflect availabilityThere’s a charger at my work that has been out of service for weeks. I’ve submitted multiple tickets, had various conversations with customer service and there has been no change. I understand that there are issues that are outside of the control of the people at the call center who are trying to help. I understand that there are difficulties in repairing chargers that are due to forces beyond my comprehension. However, this charger displays as AVAILABLE in the app. It’s not available and it does not work. What I cannot understand is how it is outside of everyone’s ability to change the availability on the app for this charger, considering it is non-functional, it’s status should be reflected accurately in the app. Maybe I’m just frustrated that this service I pay a monthly fee to use is not working out the way I want. It seems like a battle every time We need more chargers here in San Francisco and throughout the whole Bay area on Highway five to Los Angeles I just reported four broken chargers at 2001 Market St. in San Francisco with expose wires. Better Chargers of the Bunch!They are straight forward and to the point easy to use and connect easily with your vehicles charge the fastest in my opinion—I really wish they had these in Corpus Christi Area or really more charging stations south of San Antonio because I stayed stranded in Three Rivers the other day thinking I could just hook up to any charge station (not the case whatsoever) boy did I have a rude awakening when I took my first trip in an electric vehicle south of Austin, Texas! Outstanding customer SupportThere’s been multiple times where I’ve gone to an EV go charging station and experienced an issue with the charges not working, I was very frustrated and was getting ready to head out to a different location when customer Support reached out to me and offered to help, they did some rebooting on their end and got the charging station up and running, not only that but John offered to give me a free session for my inconvenience. I’ve experienced issues with other non EVgo charging stations, EVgo goes above and beyond to make things right. Great charging plans and excellent customer serviceI enrolled in evgo max monthly plan and it’s already saved me money . Especially since get unlimited charging sessions. The app works great and keeps you updated on charging status. I had a slight issue with charger connector not being able to be unplugged. Well I called customer service and the associate who helped me was great and helped me to fix the issue and at same time taught me a way to get connector to unplug that’s not in cars owner manual. I was very impressed and enjoyed being educated on the connector issue since I’m new to electric vehicles so now if I ever have that issue again I know what to do. Charging is a BreezeThey would have received 5 stars but I just stopped to charge and whenever I used it before, it has paired with my car and started charging on its own. Today, a bar appeared that said ‘start charging’. I was confused because I didn’t recall doing that before. I waited as the station did its thing and my car said ‘charging started’. I looked at the app and it didn’t recognize that I was using one of the ports. I had to go out and then back in to the app and then it showed me charging. So I am torn whether that warrants the loss of a star or not … maybe half a star. Each time I have used the chargers at this Pilot Travel Center on US 223 in MI, the charge is quick. Charging my TeslaLocation and availability for me is always great. Very rarely have I had to wait on a charging station. I have my account set up so all I have to do is plug in my car. Charging start same as if I were at a Tesla charging station. Charging speed do not reach as fast as that of Tesla but I’m never in a hurry when I’m charge so no worries on that front. Only negative I must put here is that Sidley is consistently ready to charge but unfortunately Keir has down for well over a month and a half. No cool. Help you organization by fixing the charger. If you need an electrician, give me a call. I would to be your repairman for this area. EVgo makes charging easierGoing EV was a a bit nerve racking since EV chargers weren’t as prevalent as gas station in every corner. EVgo helped ease that nervous feeling I had by making it easier to find chargers when I need it. Finding a charger was easy, but connecting and starting a charge even easier. When you have a created EVgo account and connect your car information it’s as easy as taking the charger and plugging it in. Charge starts, no prompts, no cards, just connects to your car charges your account and you’re charging! I know apps are always trying to improve my one suggestion as of now is to better the search tool. EVgo slow!The EVgo app works really well but the machines not so much so. The app allows you to find station locations and machines efficiently but once you show up to location is when the problem starts. Most of the time there are only a few machines and one if not two are malfunctioning. Secondly there are way more electric vehicles on the streets of California than expected because there is always a wait. This makes it very difficult to be time efficient when you have to wait in line or queue for the next operating machine that is still going to take almost an hour just to reach 80% charge. Best performing EV charging appMy one suggestion, particularly since you already have access to my location and home address and state of residence, is that you not default the location field when comparing the various available plans to California, implying that everyone who drives and EV lives there. That is not true. So maybe if the app developers could tie in your state of residence to populating that field and save us all from having to scroll down in the list every time we compare the rates, I could be convinced to switch to one of the newer plans. Off To A Rough StartIt was extremely difficult to get your app to work; I had to call in to customer service twice to have them manually initiate the charge. Problem was I could not sign in. App continued to not recognize my email and password even after signing up again with a new email and password. However, I was able to finally login after deleting the app and reinstalling it. Now both accounts seem to be working. I also was able to complete my first auto charge where I just plug in and confirm through the app with no tapping of cards needed. A good app for a great serviceThis app is pretty straightforward and easy to use once you put your payment information into it. I set up auto charge with my car so that I only have to plug in at stations and it automatically starts a session without using the app anymore and it’s never been a problem. Just had to do the one time setup and now it’s as easy as just plugging in. EVgo has a good network here in California, my only qualm is that a lot of the chargers are limited to only 50 KW max which is lower than what a lot of newer cars can take so there is some need for upgrades to these older stations but the newer ones are fantastic. OkThe EVgo app sometimes works depending on the Wi-Fi signal or the 5G signal. And high urban areas it’s fine, but if you’re doing a trip from LA to San Francisco and have to be more rural there can be a lot of issues. When I first tried it, the phone number to call for help was terrible. However, lately when I’ve needed assistance because the machines can often be vandalized, the helpdesk people have been very helpful and manage to fix things on their end, such as billing or having me switch machines and making the payment easily done because the machine was broken, I really wish the EVgo machines were all next to a Starbucks or other eatery since you have to kill at least 30 minutes to an hour.LadygrailVersion: 8.18.0

MehSigned up having never actually been to an EVGo Charging station but seeing that there were 4 in the city versus 1 Electrify America. What they don’t tell you is the cables are about 1 foot long so if your charger is not located at the front of your vehicle or rear closest to the charger (which mine was neither of those) - good luck. I had signed up for a membership to try to save and I’m basically out the membership cost unless they decide to refund it which I’ve requested. Also there’s no clear way to cancel your plan - the link does nothing when you tap on it - so I’ve requested an account deletion instead and I’ll monitor for attempted re-charges. Some technician installed new charging cables but it’s been OUT OF SERVICE for over a month now at least, and then there are two 50kW stations out in this area as well. One located at the Walgreens at Fullerton/Greenview and another one on Western Ave about a mile from the Wholefood at 3200 N Ashland. please get the broken charging stations fixed and put cameras up and ban people that are destroying the charging stations or using them. Great, some performance issuesThe app is great, in general! You can easily find EVGo (and partner) stations. You're also able to begin charging from the app by plugging in from a station and finding the station in the app's map. I also enjoy being able to see the charge data via the app while my car is charged at a station However, I wish the app didn't slow down so much once I tried adding filters on the map to find specific charging stations. For example, the app froze every time I made a change to add or remove the Level 2 chargers from my search. Most Dependable Charging NetworkI’ve had my EV for about 6 months. At first public charging was somewhat a nightmare, broken chargers, offline chargers, etc. When I purchased my vehicle I was given a credit for 250 kWh of free charging on one of the bigger networks. After 6 months I still have about 150 kWh left in credit because I only use EVgo. I’d rather go pay at an EVgo charger I am sure will be available and working, than get free charging at EA because there’s a 75% chance I’ll have to go to EVgo anyhow when they’re chargers are offline. New userThis app is far better than the other 2 I downloaded. I am new to the EV car and have to say the first week or two of driving and getting used to it was not a good experience. Finding a reliable station that was working in my area was no easy task for someone who is as non tech savvy as myself. And figuring out how to maneuver through the apps and figuring out how everything comes together so that I can get the car going was a nightmare. However I’ve noticed that that this is the better of the apps I downloaded. As well as the customer service is outstanding. When I call for help. Frustrating serviceThe app is easy to use the availability and price of the chargers is great. However, there are so often problems with getting the car to start charging or chargers stopping unexpectedly that it’s really difficult to park and leave the car for an hour. I also really wish EVgo wouldn’t automatically stop after one hour, if you need to increase the rate a bit after an hour that’s fine but it’s frustrating when my car hasn’t gotten to a full charge yet and I have to restart the process to get it to 100%. Best charging station thus farI live about 12 miles from the closest EVgo however I only come here because it’s fast and they have four charging stations. Unfortunately tonight I found out two of them are broke. I wish you guys would put more around. I live in Aberdeen and I have to come to Middletown, New Jersey to charge. The App itself has been fixed and almost perfected.Simply plug in, open the app, wait a second or two for the app to discover charger based on location, then select plug, and finally swipe right. Charger has never once workedI’ve used a public EVGo charger perhaps 5 times in the last few years. It has not worked even once. It usually hangs at the screen where it says syncing with the charger. I’ve had to call them, wait a few minutes, and on a few occasions, they’ve managed to manually turn it on. The only reason I’m even trying to use their charger is that I got $100 in charging credits when I bought my Nissan leaf. What a brilliant and deceitful move on their part! The standard charger is not compatible with a Nissan leaf! And when I use the fast charger, it docks me around $20 for an additional 120 miles of range. I could've got thrice the range filling gas in a Hummer. And what’s more, one time I was not able to pull out the charger after it finished charging because the lock was stuck and spent half an hour on the phone again with them. As far as the app goes, as they say, you can’t put lipstick on a pig. But somehow they’ve managed to make the whole experience even worse! You cannot stop charging using the app. You have to go to the charging station, find the stop button (which in itself should win you an award) and hit that well hidden button before pulling out the charger. Which means that anyone can unplug you! I do feel bad for the app developers because of how bad the underlying charging system is. So I’ll try to say one thing nice. Horrible horrible company and customer serviceI just recently got an electric car so I’m new to the chargers. As much as I can help it I avoid EVgo at all costs and only use electrify America or just charge at my house. I was running dangerously low on battery and drove to an EVgo charger that ended up not working. I tried twice on the original charger and then twice on another charger at the same station and neither worked. I then had to drive farther across town to another EVgo charging station and of course the first two chargers I tried didn’t work. I then called and after 20 min, a customer service rep was able to get the then FIFTH charger of the day that I tried to actually work. I asked if there was any way they could give me a credit for all of the time it took for me to finally get a charge and she sent my request to customer service. They emailed me and denied any request stating that I had a successful charge and completely ignored what I told them. I also realized then that my card was charged $4 for each of the original two charges that I tried. My card was accepted and then immediately stopped the charging so I never got energy to my car and shouldn’t have charges on my card. Still have never received a refund for those. Customer support fell asleep and they stole my moneyI've only charged my car twice—once on Thursday and right now, as I’m writing this review. However, there are two charging transactions on my account from Friday and Saturday that I didn’t authorize. I called customer service to report the issue and they said there would submit a ticket for it to be investigated further. After reading the email they essentially told me there was nothing they could do and said it was my responsibility to remove any cars from my account that I no longer own. The problem is, I only have one car, and I didn’t charge it three days in a row. After receiving that email response, I called again. After explaining the situation to the representative, they put me on hold, and I started to hear snoring—they had fallen asleep on the phone. I tried to wake them, but eventually hung up and called back. The next person I spoke with said they would escalate the issue further. This entire experience has been ridiculous. After reading other reviews, it seems that unauthorized charges and poor customer service are common with this company. I’m only using them because Honda provided me with $750 in credits when I leased my car, but given these issues, I’m seriously reconsidering whether I want to continue using their services and if I want to file class action lawsuit..LinaAngel.Version: 9.11.1

Unreliable and misinformedChargers are unreliable, the support staff over the phone are useless. My car wasn’t charging one time and they told me it’s because my cars voltage was too low to accept a charge so I had to get towed. That was not correct the dealership checked my car and it was fine, and put it on their own fast charger(that was very slow and I had to wait two hours to get about 30% charge). Truth was my payment wasn’t going through because my bank was blocking the charge, but somehow it was my car‘s fault? When the chargers are down (and there’s no other EVgos within 60 miles) they wouldn’t refund my subscription even though my local charger has been down for over two weeks now. Speaking of that subscription I had the top level subscription which included reserving a charger, none of the chargers within 150 miles have that feature so I don’t know why they’re advertising it either. Chargers are always in bad locations, they’re expensive, and service is terrible. Cannot recommend at all. They’re up is also terrible, and glitches frequently. There’s no ability to add Evego to Apple Pay, instead they send you a physical plastic card? That’s what’s best for the environment of course. Horrible companyI have had this app, and their rewards program, for 11 days. One day after I bought an electric car. It seemed nice at first, but then…. Apparently, my new account, that I just got, is connected to someone else’s VIN and when they charge their car, I get a charge on my credit card that is attached to my account. I had to suspend my account, and block my credit card. I was told that when I need to charge my car, I can call up and un suspend my account so I can charge my car while continuing to earn rewards, since I did pay for the rewards membership. It was a hassle, but it did work, one time. The second time I tried, the customer service rep, Chase, said I could not do that. I was told to use a different form of payment or close my account and open a new one. Since my account was still under investigation and I was not told to do that from the rep I was emailing to fix the issues, I was waiting for them to tell me how to proceed. In the meantime, following their direction on how to avoid yet another erroneous charge to my credit card. There had been 3 already. Needless to say, I ended up using a different payment, not getting the rewards, after spending 20 minutes on the phone, not charging my car!!! Paperweight made of electronsHaven’t used it in a while, so I updated my app uploaded a new credit card (the old one had expired) subscribed to a plan, comfirmed by my credit card alert system notifying me of the charge immediately , and… The app doesn’t find any stations anywhere in Mountain View, California. Searching for them on the map didn’t bear any fruit either. Meanwhile, I’m parked right in front of one and the map is showing my location accurately. So I call customer service so they can activate it for me and they say well we see your credit card in there but your account is still suspended because you don’t have an active credit card… What? Presumably, something is wrong in the plumbing between my recently updated credit card information and their main database. Between both mistakes the app is useless. I’m going to try to get my one month subscription fee back, and right now I’m paying an arm and a leg per kilowatt hour using my naked credit card. Ev go reviewEVgo stations are awesome, but there are times where me and my family go to the charging stations and half of them are more than half of them are down. I’ve also had problems with your software changing from the plan to the page you go and I’ve had to call in multiple times and it’s inconvenient for me causes problems but other than that, EVgo is a great source for me to charge. I just wish you guys would take better care of your charging stations and take better care of your customers with, real technicians or customer service reps in the United States I do not like the fact that every company outsources to another country. I understand that it’s economically fit for you guys to do that but at the end of the day we got Americans that don’t have jobs that need help with jobs and I think it would be awesome. Slow, buggy, and intentionally misleadingI am only really using them as I got a $500 credit with my bolt purchase. There is a major bug that if you do not have a payment method added and add ChargePoint to the filter it will not show any stations anywhere. EVGo denies that there is even this bug. Also if you do not have an extremely good cell connection it will not be able to find any stations or just the ones you are near. All my other apps work and have internet, but Evgo is extremely picky. When I start a charge the charge will start after a little bit, but they app will always error out after a minute or two. It will show I am charging shortly after. Lastly with the $500 credit they require you to add a payment method to use it and of course when you are buying anything they do not show what payment method they are going to use, the credit or or credit card. They are relying on you not knowing and assuming it would default to the credit first. This is not always true and never true for the monthly plans..XSPARExSTEWxVersion: 8.6.0

Electric Cars Are Not The BusinessWell, I rented an electric car and had no idea what I was doing. I thought electric cars were the next big thing. It turns out that it’s not the case for me anyway. It takes 11 hours to charge the car for one or if you get this app and pay more you can charge it faster for more money. BUT when you go into the app to find a charging station it’s so confusing! I finally figured out how to get to a station where the app said there was one free charging station. That was absolutely not the case! When I got there all the charging stations were Full and there was a line of 5 other cars all waiting to charge their car! There was no sense or rhythm to this so called line! You just have to figure it out. Completely ridiculous! So based on the unreliable information, the absolute chaos at the charging station, the need to invest so much time just to get power for a vehicle, this app gets a one star and a recommendation to just stay away from electric cars. Insane greedThe app as far as I can tell is fine I just didn’t realize the insane greed of this company. you have to have a plan with them. I went with the cheapest one, a dollar or so but then you can’t use your card unless you have at least $10 on there so in perpetuity there will always be five dollars or so that you cannot use on this card. The card is in my Apple wallet and shows I have a balance of $3.35. The charger won’t allow you to use your own money even though $3.35 would probably give me about 50 miles of range if I needed that in a pinch, that would be great. The icing on the cake however was an email I got for a late fee because they were able to charge my card. Excuse the heck out of you. Where do you get off charging a late fee to reactivate service I don’t know a single other company that does that that is an insane business practice. Setup and first use is painfulThe app has several one way processes that are confusing. You don’t think you need to set up auto charge, but it’s hard to back out when it asks you for the VIN. Later, I realize that auto charge might be the only easy way to activate a charging station. Another challenge I had was the credit card set up. My credit card was expired, but the app didn’t tell me – all I got was an error message on the charger station itself saying error. really helpful! Once I entered a proper credit card in there, I finally got my first session going. But the app doesn’t allow me to delete my old card. What?? I feel like the error messages at the station itself or on the app could have been a lot more friendly. This is banking on the fact that you must charge your EV, so you will put the effort in or you can’t drive. Wouldn’t recommend for rideshare driversWas told to use this app for charging and have regretted it every moment. The chargers almost never work and you have to call customer service. They do work sometimes but they will be the slow ones. When you drive up if anyone else is there you will find they either have had an issue or found the one charger that does work meaning yours won’t. Once I called them and the dude laughed in my face and then hung up.I called back and they hung up again. Another time I called and a lady was super rude to me and they took like $80 off of my card and I still couldn’t charge. This being said, I have a lot of patience and a sick sense of humor so I can appreciate a one off but it’s been like this for 3 weeks- issues maybe 75% of the time which is costing me money and time I don’t have. Simply put, the app failedThere I was in San Diego, with my EV rental car at just over 20%. Use Google Maps to track down a charging station near the airport. Science, for the parking station were easy to follow and I parked my car at the station. Plug the car in and discover that I had to use this app to pay. No big deal… Download the app no problem and then was asked to give name, rank, serial number, blood type, and all sorts of information that I don’t have to give when I’m filling my tank with gas. Navigate my way through all of those gates and got to where I needed to input a payment option. Indicated I would be using my credit card, and when I got to the place in the app to imput my credit card information, it would not prompt me or open my keyboard. Without the keyboard, I was able unable to input any numbers. There was no option to pay with PayPal or Apple Pay or anything like that. Only by using a credit card number that the app did not allow me to enter. So, five minutes after giving the company all of my info, I was unable to charge the car and had to drive away. EV’s may be the wave of the future, but they are going to have issues as long as companies like this are going to force you to use their app to pay and then have the app not function..1WebfootVersion: 9.8.0

Not all chargers function the same.Some chargers require a working screen in order to operate. Something SO simple, yet seems like a foreign concept to EvGo. I’ve had my vehicle since April of 2024. It’s now September and they still haven’t fixed screens in my area that allow you to stop a charging session/start a session ect. Every time I connect to certain chargers I have to call customer service to disconnect the charge. Either that or I have to wait a full hour and it disconnects on its own. Pretty ridiculous. Only reason I use it is because it’s free with my lease for a year. If this issue isn’t fixed I will not be a paying customer come next April. Competitors in my area do well at servicing their chargers much better. DisappointingThis is an app that has data but wants to make it hard for you to get it and use it. When you search the map it does not show you the results on the map, only a list. What? There is no search from my current location option. Just dumb. Then if you move or resize the app it does not let you perform a search in the new area. Frustrating. This app was recommended by a car rental service but it doesn’t have the end user experience in mind. I’m telling them to suggest a different app. Because I am nice I won’t mention those other apps in this space, but they’re easily found. TerribleWaisted 4 hours walking around and having a really, really, really long lunch. A flaw in the app will shut off your charge if screen is bumped when you put phone away. I checked later to see how charge was coming. Called there support line to which I was told everything was fine. -I explained I could no longer see the screen that says it’s charging and asked how to get back to it. If you can turn off charge from app and not just “at the pump” you should be able to verify it’s charging, turn it BACK ON if accidentally disconnected, heck even set limits. Say, “fill er up” or “put $10 on 5” whatever. Seriously lame. Now I have to go back tonight and sit in parking lot for 3 hours, as everything will be closed. EV-DON’TWith their network of broken, out of service chargers or the chargers “just happen” to go offline on off-peak hours and useless customer service…you’ll have a better experience charging at a Tesla Charger station or ChargePoint. The app would also inaccurately mark a charger as “available” only come to find out the charger is either busy charging someone else or is offline. Waste of time and mileage just driving to a charger that isn’t available. Only positive thing about EV-DON’T is the fact it takes an hour to fully charge my Chevy Bolt, which holds 270 miles to the charge. It’s ridiculous how I have to consider charging at the 100 mile mark because I would spend up to an hour just driving around town looking for a charger that actually works and is available to use. You can select Canada but….Yes, you can select Canada. The trick is to scroll through the list of states and within the states are Canadian provinces. The states and the provinces are all mixed in together in alphabetical order in the list. Having said that, there are absolutely no charging station locations available in Canada, at least that I can see.
