HelpI upgraded to a new phone and had to reload the app. Now it won’t let me log in and customer support is non existent. I only get a 403 Forbidden error message. After having a similar issue with the gas app “Upside” they recommended turning off my VPN setting before attempting to login. This resolved my issue with both apps and I now have access once again to both apps. Other than this one issue I have been very happy with the Earnify app. It has helped me save on gas prices and is easy to use..GerriLynneVersion: 2.11.0

Figured it outI finally figured out how to get it working. Instead of using Apple Pay, I had to add my credit card directly to the Earnify app and pay via my credit card instead of Apple Pay. Adding back a couple of stars, but it should not be so hard. It’s really not clear how you’re supposed to know if you got a discount or not. The pump price didn’t change and my credit card was charged in full. Second time I used it, today, it said payment failed or something like that. Emailed them a week ago inquiring about the first purchase without the discount and haven’t heard a peep, not even an auto reply. And yes I checked my spam folder. Emailed them again per the developer’s reply: again, nothing. It ain’t a fluke, they don’t reply to support emails. So far so bad. Will update rating if I ever can get it to work. Love…DisappointedI love the fact that I can purchase gas with lower prices using this app. It makes me happy when I can earn points to use towards lowering my gas prices. My disappointment concerns earning points making in-store purchases. I am unable to get the points I should be earning when I purchase items inside of the stores that use the app. I have read instructions on how to use the wallet barcode inside of the store when trying to purchase items. So far I haven’t been successful in getting the barcode to recognize my in-store purchases to earn points. I have communicated with someone from the Earnify customer support via email and explained my problem. They have sent me steps to follow to use the app when purchasing in store but it didn’t work. I also tried using the app for in-store purchases at another location that recognizes the app to no avail. The Earnify customer support person asked me to send a copy of the receipt and they manually entered the points. I don’t want to have to continually send pictures of my receipts for in-store purchases in order to get the points I earn from the purchases. I want to be able to make the purchases just like I do when I am getting gas and have the points I earn uploaded to my account just like it happens when I purchase gas with the app..Popstar74Version: 5.6.0

Why, boomers?MCK of GA: the reason your card was declined was because of insufficient funds. You likely didn't have enough balance to cover the maximum pre-authorization for the pump, so if you are broke just say that. I assure you you are not that important, As usual, the reviews are full of a bunch of boomers that think they know everything. The app likely wasn't bugging, it was a user defect. And for those of you talking about actually handing over your financial information and your "entire financial footprint". It's not that big of a deal. It really isn't. They just want to make sure you enter the correct routing number and account number so that way they don't get penalized for your lack of intelligence and your lack of skill to verify anything. Why is the Internet so difficult for you all? In 2026 you have all the information in the world accessible to you in your pocket, and you refuse to use it for that. What do you do? Good with Improvement OpportunitiesThe app does a good job of being available when needed. However, it needs two things to be 5 stars: 1. Add the ability to scan or take a pic of receipt for missing rewards. The app screen locks out during fueling, meaning that you can’t show your rewards account to the store attendant to get credit for in store purchases (and it matters because plenty of rewards bonuses are attached to in store purchases). This is fine if you want to ensure people don’t leave their car unattended for safety, but allow the option to scan a receipt after purchase or have another way of claiming missed rewards. 2. Not all stores honor bonuses. This is also fine because the terms indicate “eligible stores”, but allow filtering in the app to let people know ahead of time..JccamargoVersion: 5.1.0

Been BuggyDidn’t used to have too many issues with this app, but lately it’s stopped working at the pump. I go to unlock a pump, it preauthorizes my card, loading circle happens, and it sends me back to the main “pick a pump” screen. This happens repeatedly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it still happens. Yes, I could use my linked card to still get the discount (I’ve had to because of this issue), but what I loved about using the app was it only puts a $1 hold on your bank account and not the usual $125 (which is wild and ridiculous, honestly). Works but needs instructionsIt is good once you learn how to use it, it’s different for different stations. The online instructions don’t work in NC, for example. There’s no place to enter phone number at the pump, so you have to allow the phone access to gps. Then when at gas station open the app, it may take a minute to recognize you are there, then enter pump number, and this takes about 2 minutes. You will see the price per gallon then be reduced, now you can start pumping. The other issue is it only works once a day. Savings are awesomeThe app itself worked and performed really well ever since they switched over but now for the last month and a half I am unable to actually use the app to pay for gas because after I select the pump number and continue it goes right back to the pump selection. Pleasant surpriseI’ll start with the app name and symbol. It does not look or sound like it should. Especially in comparison to the old BP Amoco app. I have to say, though, I found myself at a BP and without a physical card. I’ll add that this BP is in a small town. But I thought, maybe I can use the app and pay that way. So I downloaded the app and in probably less than two minutes I had everything connected, the pump unlocked, and gas going down the neck. Easy and secureI love that I can use the app to pay for my gas without having to swipe or tap my card at the pump. Seems like it’s a more secure way to pay. Plus the discount comes off immediately, not as cash back on my card for later. The app is easy to use, and tracks all my discounts, my rewards points, and even shows me where the nearest station is that uses the app for pay at the pump. Good until it’s notI will admit this app has great days when it works effortlessly! But his past weekend was horrible! Got the notification of 20c /gal off for Friday… but then all day Friday… IT DOESN’T WORK! Not the app or the actual webpage. Easy to useOverall I like the functionality of the app and how you can start the pump from it, as well as make payments. I have had a few issues where I switch payment card and by the time the transaction is over it had switched back to the other card. ConfusedThe only reason why I rated it at three is this point is because I’m not really quite sure how to get points for purchasing things in the store. Great AppGlad I found this app. I used it the other day at a BP station 15 miles from home. I pulled up to a pump and logged in and the app help do the rest. It asked what pump I was on and I started filling. I saved .10 a gallon. It may not seem like much but in the end it really did and now I get rewards. Love the discounts but pay at the pump doesn’t workI’ve tried to use the pay at the pump feature three or four times. Each time I get to the payment section but when the app tries to unlock the pump, it hits an error. I have to go into the store (where none of the clerks even know what the app is) and prepay. Even then, on one of those two prepays, the discount wasn’t even applied. Why is Apple Pay Not SupportedI went to use to old BP Me app and was forced to upgrade to the new app when I went to fill up. This wasn’t ideal to have to do when you are trying to fill up with fuel. Once I got setup with the new app, I come to find out the option of using Apple pay is not supported which was supported in the old BP Me app. Please bring back this support into the new app and maybe email your customers to inform us to download the new app prior to our next station visit..AMGTHISVersion: 2.1.0

ConfusionI gave it 3 stars because: 1)The name of the app is confusing. I had to google Earnify to figure out it was BP gasoline app. 2)I can’t figure out how to use this app. I opened it up & I had to give it to the gas station attendant to apply it to my gasoline purchase. It’s good, when it works!First off it is still hard for me to remember that the BP app is called Earnify and I can’t even find it if I search BP on my phone. It would be nice if BP added signage on the pumps with the earnify logo. ClarityToday I tried using this app for the first time. Setup was easy, but I ran into an issue while trying to pay at the pump. The app kept throwing up a technical page about something not being able to load. I finally tried paying at the pump and realized that the pump was in some sort of diagnostic mode. Forced to use this over AmPmWow what a scam! Yeah a 250 pt bonus, and after first downloading which was easy everything looks normal & good. However once you actually get to ANY AmPm location there are NO DEALS AVAILABLE AT ANY LOCATION! I tried several! What’s truly fascinating is when you’re AWAY FROM AN AmPM this app provides deals to earn points with. Example Coffee, energy drinks, Gatorade & sodas, of course all of the convenience store items that AmPm normally offers & if your of Age that is also available (alcohol & tobacco products) it’s similar to the old AmPm app with the addition of gas points. NOW every time I actually get to a AmPm every single deal disappears and my ONLY OPTION is .5 cents off fuel & I have my bonus 250 points which I can’t use because LITERALLY NOTHING IS AVAILABLE AT ANY AMPM ONCE I ACTUALLY PULL UP IN THE PARKING LOT! Once I’m away everything re-appears again. Yes I have my location enabled, I verified, it also tells me exactly what AmPm I’m at. This is such a waste of time & honestly it’s frustrating. Especially when it was useful before. If we have to switch over please make sure that bugs like this are worked out - I read on the App Store this is still being beta tested, if that’s true why are we all being required to stitch over now, why not wait until the testing is complete? Terrible rewards program and terrible customer serviceAs others have said, the app never actually gives you any rewards at the pump. This is been the case since I got it a year a go. I have called into customer service multiple times to report this. The first time I was told that they would work on providing me credits for my missing discounts. Months went by and no one called me. When I called in again, I was told to email receipts for proof. I did this, and several more months went by without any response. When I called in again, I was told that the receipts did not contain the right amount of information to receive the credits, and that now too much time has passed, and they could not credit me for receipts that old. I have never seen a worse product or worse customer service. Literally failed in every aspect. In fact, this is really fraud / false advertising, while I have wasted a years worth of rewards on this. Great when it works - NOTIt’s been 3 weeks since I amended my review & I still can’t sign into the Earnify app despite messaging from app telling me to complete my registration! Have deleted and reinstalled countless times. When will this be fixed??? Amending this review because this app is the worst! It’s okay when it worksThis app is okay when it works. The most recent times I’ve tried to pay for gas through the app it either doesn’t work at all or I have the gas station clerks telling me to come in and they have no clue how to use the app. Constantly missing out on deals because of the app not working or the deals not being able to be applied when paying inside. Most recently, I used the app at a BP for gas after already having an issue the time before at a different station. I was ready to drive off and the clerk ran out & claimed the charge never even went through… even though I showed him my app and unlocked the pump again right in front of him. Had me pay for the gas for a second time inside since he claimed it didn’t go through on their system but that doesn’t make sense. Sometimes problems turned into never workingAt the station I go to the most I would get that “pay by app isn’t available at this time”, so I wouldn’t get the full discounts I am supposed to, only partially from entering my number on the keypad (when that worked). The biggest problem of that was that it doesn’t tell you that until you’re at the station, there’s another a little further out I could go to if I knew it wasn’t working. I hate carrying extra credit cards but I have to if I want to be able to use my bp card since the app is unreliable. Now it hasn’t worked for 2 solid months. It says pay by app is available and I pick my pump number and the circle on the screen just goes round and round. I let it run 5 minutes one time and it never went through. Started out good, but won’t give fuel discounts.The first few times I used this app it worked fine. I was able to pay for my fuel through the app and received 5 cents per gallon off. The first time I tried to redeem points for 10 cents per gallon off, it took my points but didn’t give me the 10 cents per gallon off. The next time I went to refuel it said I still had the 10 cents per gallon off and to see the cashier to redeem it. When I did that I only got 3 cents per gallon off. I refueled again today and after opening the app and selecting the pump number and payment source like always I pumped my gas. It told me to pay inside, and when I did, it didn’t give me 5 cents a gallon off! Please fix this! I never had a problem with the BPme app. I wish I could go back to it. Not user or gas station friendlyI downloaded this at my local gas station because I like my ampm app, and saw promo for 10/c off a gallon. However after downloading it while I was in line, I couldn't figure out how to use it nor did the attendant from the line. I was able to add a card, but it didn’t ask me about pump number or checking in or anything. It just mentions what amenities are available at that gas station and it gives you points for some reason. I looked at the pump and had nothing to scan and display wasn’t working. The app also is extremely slow and can be unresponsive. I walked to another gas station near my house later and the app didn't even realize I was near a gas stationg. it didn’t do anything well I was in line to check out . Waste of storageThe Earnify app doesn’t work at the majority of convenience, stores and gas stations for BP at least near me {North Carolina}. The discounts used to be a greater amount now they kept it at $.20 per gallon off, which is trash because I used to be able to get up to $1 off per gallon. I tried redeeming the $4 off purchase and of course it didn’t work; at a Westinghouse location, which the location I used directed to me straight from the app. Before the update, they scan the product then scan the barcode then you click Skupos [Whatever that means] then the discount should apply. Furthermore there are so many steps most convenient store workers don’t know how to use it and the one that does know it’s not like I can double verify that they’re doing it correctly. The dollars off discounts needs to specify which locations are actively participating and if there’s a minimum dollar limit for the dollars off purchase and needs to state that. if the dollars off reward cover taxes, it needs to say that. overall trash, Update and nothing ever works so I would skip this app. if you want discounts on gas at a BP just shop at Harris Teeter that’s gonna give you the highest opportunity to get gas. App is unreliableThis app is the worst ever. Or should I say customer support is the worst ever. Went for gas on 4 different occasions and was charged the wrong price. When I called customer service with the posted price and price I was charged he told me it was unacceptable. He wanted the gas station to verify the prices. Refused to give me $6.00 in credits. Called FNBO later and they addressed the issue. Every so often you find an app admin who stinks. Why would I use the app and pay regular price when I can use the credit card and get $.15 per gallon discount? I thought I was getting the same $.15 discount using the app. Shame on me for not checking that. And the worst is when the phone contact told me the photo of the CASH PRICE that I sent him was incorrect. He told me the photo had to be ‘ validated’ with a time stamp. Ridiculous App Even More Ridiculous Customer ServiceI’m not even sure this app should even receive any stars. My BP visa card won’t link with the app because it’s supposedly linked to another account. Contact customer service and complete whatever nonsense instructions they give to fix the situation and nothing works. They “escalate” the situation, still nothing solved. Same thing is happening with my mother’s account and she too is given the runaround. She called FNBO who told her that no one earns points on fuel at a BP station. I’m sorry, who trained that alleged customer service agent. The Earnify site itself states that you earn points on fuel and double points on convenience store purchases. Apps have bugs, i know this, but is it too much to ask that bugs be fixed when customers present them? Still Broken, No Follow UpAfter originally reporting this issue in a review on November 9, 2025, and receiving a developer response on November 12 instructing me to contact support, I followed those instructions and called the provided support number. Unfortunately, that experience only reinforced how poorly this issue is being handled. The representative walked me through the exact same troubleshooting steps I had already completed multiple times: delete the app, power cycle the phone, reinstall, repeat. No surprise — nothing changed. I was then told the issue would be escalated to the IT department and that I would receive an update within a week. That call took place on December 12, 2025 around noon. Today is December 23, 2025, and I have received no email, no update, no acknowledgment — nothing. This is not how professional customer service works. Even a simple message saying “we’re still investigating” would show basic respect for the customer’s time. Silence after escalation is unacceptable. What makes this worse is that this app worked fine before, continues to work on devices running older iOS versions, and is clearly suffering from unresolved compatibility issues — yet customers are left completely in the dark. As someone who actually holds BP shares, it’s especially disappointing to see a product tied to a major brand handled this carelessly. Ignoring users who take the time to report legitimate issues is a fast way to lose trust — and customers. At this point, I’m not just frustrated — I’m questioning whether this app is being actively supported at all. If fixes are delayed, say so. If there’s a known issue, own it. Constantly logs me outThis app was once very reliable and never had any problems with it. But, since the last update, it is now constantly logging me out of it, forcing me to waste time standing at the gas pump, trying to log in! To make matters worse, it'll keep throwing up a "can't log onto the internet" error message, even though I'm connected via Verizon. I wind up having to connect to the internet through the hotspot on my Ipad just to login to this stupid app! Someone actually got paid to sit down and screw up an app that was working just fine before. If this keeps up, I'm going to rethink my whole idea/usage behind my BP credit card and this dumb app. Not about to put up with this, every single time I go fill up my truck! Refusal to delete accountI have sent several emails to delete my account as the state I am in doesn’t have the gas stations and all the offers. Anyway, this shouldn’t matter. Ive tried to delete my account on the app and it won’t let me. I emailed support and they sent me an email with links to find gas stations. Their refusal to delete my account is worrisome and sketchy. Any other company would comply! I have asked explicitly and written that I want my account deleted and they are fusing. So before you download this app make sure you know how shady this company is and you won’t have anything resolved and will force you to keep your account open. SCAM does not discount gasThere are only 3 BP locations in my town listed in the app. I went to the closest, and the app smoothly connected to the pump. HOWEVER, the gas pump screen then displayed “rewards not available” for a couple seconds, and then automatically refreshed to display the normal “push to select your gas” (can’t remember the exact wording). The price never changed. If I wasn’t paying attention to the screen or the price, never would have noticed. Nothing came across the app signaling an error. This was for amazons save 20 cents Friday promo. My first and last time using this if one third of their approved stations don’t work, or if the app simply doesn’t update locations that do and do not participate. The worst app I’ve ever usedIf I had the capital, I would buy back Thornton’s from this godawful BP. The app never works. I try to unlock a pump, I’m stuck on “Unlocking pump,” even after a HARD reset. The ONLY way to make the app usable is to reinstall. Also, for some reason, my bank account doesn’t work. They’ll let me know by sending me 10 e-mails saying that I was declined for a “negative” reason. Not my bank account, cause I checked, and I have enough to cover a tank of gas even in this economy. I hate this app, so much. The location isn’t even accurate, I have to change it to the station I’m 0.0 miles away from every single time. Stupid pointless app doesn’t workI just tried to use this app to get $1 per gallon off gas, and neither I, my spouse, or the attendant at the BP station listed in the app could figure out how to actually use it at all. There were literally like four signs about using unify at the gas station, and the gas station attendant watched all these videos to try to figure out how to tell me to use it at the gas station, and he couldn’t figure it out nor could we. If your app is so terrible that it’s not immediately obvious how to use it, then it’s garbage. I am deleting it, and what waste another second of my life on this nonsense. Can’t use points.I fill my work truck every morning at a bp gas station so I signed up for rewards thinking I’d save some money on gas. Unfortunately, I have yet to be able to redeem my points for a discount on gas. First problem is none of the employee’s at the gas station know how to scan the barcode on the app. Second, when I try to turn on the pump and pay with my phone I get an error message regardless of the location I go to or what pump I attempt. Lastly, if you claim a reward and don’t use it within a few hours it disappears and takes your earned points with it. I knew this app would be too good to be true and I was correct. Bring back the previous Thornton’s reward programI really miss the old Thornton’s rewards program. It used to be one of the best gas station loyalty programs out there. Every week there were meaningful savings — like 10¢ off gas, food and beverage deals, and sometimes even 25¢ off premium or super gas. It actually felt rewarding to be a loyal customer. Since switching to Earnify through BP, the value just isn’t the same. Now you have to spend a significant amount of money just to earn 5¢ or 10¢ off, which doesn’t feel very rewarding at all. The discounts are harder to earn, less frequent, and overall much less appealing than what Thornton’s previously offered. The previous reward program made me want to stop at Thornton’s regularly. With Earnify, that incentive just isn’t there anymore. I truly hope you consider bringing back the previous Thornton’s rewards structure or improving Earnify to offer more meaningful, consistent savings for loyal customers. Same problems everyone is havingThis app used to work all the time for me and then it stopped. I keep getting the same error messages “page not available at this moment “ so I uninstalled and reinstalled and still didn’t work and I was at the gas station! Then I voiding add a payment method. SAME method I’ve used before multiple times and when I emailed them regarding this issue they said it’s the bank issue for not allowing me to use it on a 3rd party app but yet I used it MULTIPLE times before.. 😂 make it makes sense?!! S L O W. Junk.Was forced to update from the BP app to this. Migration was simple. First time I used it, it was seamless. No issues. Second time, definitely not the case. I was even at the same gas station. The app just sat there and spun. Tried to reload it three times. Still did not work. Annoyed, I ended up paying at the pump. Maybe a glitch, but never had any issues with the BP app. Fix it! Update. Signal has absolutely nothing to do with it. I mentioned I was at the same gas station. Never had any issues with the BP app. I also mentioned that the first time I used the earnify app after being forced to “update”, it worked just fine. Definitely not a signal issue. Printed receiptsAfter spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to sign into this app while standing next to the gas pump (next time let customers know in advance) I was disappointed to find that I couldn’t turn off printed receipts. Now I get a printed receipt every time I pump gas, i do not want this receipt and there’s no way to turn it off. With the old app I only got emailed receipts because I was able to set it up that way, and when I pay the traditional way I can select no receipt, but with this new app apparently you HAVE to get a receipt, there’s no option to turn it off. Ripoff!I filled up yesterday during one of the promotions promising 25 cents off per gallon, on Fridays until the end of the year. I used the app before the purchase, designating which pump I was to use. Not only did I not get the discount, the am/pm station charged more than the stated price at the pump- so I paid more than if I were a normal customer without this app. The clerk inside told me that I had to physically go inside and inform them of the discount offer before I pumped gas, and that the only price stated at the pump was for cash purchases only. UnusableI’ve been trying to use this app for months at my local BP. The map within the app itself shows that it should work at this location. Unfortunately, every time I attempt to use it, I choose the (always different) pump number only to then be greeted by an error message that says “This page isn’t available at the moment. This may be because of a technical error that we’re working to fix. No discount, broken app.Got this app do get prime discount on gas. I went to two gas stations and this app failed completely, there’s no manual way (like put in a phone number) and I got no discount. Typically I wouldn’t care but they had an offer that if I got their credit card I got a much larger discount. So let’s review: BO got all of my data, my location, access to my bank account AND they shoved a credit card down my throat and I got nothing but a hassle, no discount, nothing. I don’t get it…I don’t get the discounts!I have to consider this either a waste of time or a scam. The first time I downloaded the app I got the per gallon discount. Each time since I’ve used the app, the discount hasn’t happened! I don’t see it hasnt until I can review my receipt. Why?I have been a loyal BP customer, using BP exclusively for all my gas purchases due to the convenience of your app. However, I am now unable to use the app at the same location I've always visited. This is extremely frustrating. I don't need any rewards points and I never stop inside the station; the sole reason for choosing BP was the convenience of using the app for contactless transactions. With Costco gas being just five minutes away, the lack of app functionality at my preferred BP location is a significant inconvenience.
