My hobby was metal detecting at age 18. In my 30’s, I learned how to probe and dig up antique bottles, pre-1900. My parents passed and I inherited the family heirlooms that need value. My great aunt was an artist and had a kiln for her art. And I have a personal collection after working nearly 40 years as a Disney World Security officer. Probably Disney collectors would love the awards I received. I used Sheepdog as a nickname as I guarded the sheep and the year details my age. Though I am retired, I will always be aware of my surroundings like any peace officer does.
I love just about everything with this app. I use it to track every treasure I thrift, and supplies me with an idea of my thrifted collection’s value. BUUUTTT…. There are a few things that would be super helpful improvements. Could a notes section be added to each item’s info tag on our main collection page? Sometimes the app ID’s something with the item incorrectly (like metal or gemstone ID, or labels a piece as revival or reproduction when all other AI’s are saying original. Lowers the app’s estimated values on the piece (significantly sometimes). Would be super helpful to have a place to enter specific notes about the piece, and it saves on main collection page’s inventory preview tags. EX: like the price I listed my thrift on my website or a resale site. Or if the piece is joining our private collection. I would jump for joy if you could find a way for users to be able to edit and add correct or missing identification info (metal purity, gemstone info, weight, size, whatever else), into title, and the estimated value and item information could adjust to the detailing added. 🤞🏻🫶🏼 Right now I’m tracking all that on a spreadsheet but sure would make my day if we could get most those spreadsheet notes into your app! I love the design and the flow, and the ability to see it all laid out in what I’ve got and my total collected items total.
I am fortunate to own a number of antiques, most of which were acquired in the Northeast US. This app does a great job of identifying what you show it. I love that the identification/history and materials are so specific and detailed! The values assigned are reasonable understanding that value is also dependent upon the location the pieces may be sold (for example, Texas vs. Massachusetts). Great app! Thank you for your excellent work on this.
Love what your app can do and I’ve checked several other ones and this app is able to do more thing tasks than any of the others and is way more helpful but being an disabled female, I am very limited on funds and unable to purchase a pro membership and not unable to access that which would be even more helpful for me because I am starting this journey to supplement my disability benefits income, which barely covers rent
I had been looking for a way to catalog and price my chaotic lifelong accumulation of random items. Everything I tried fell short of my expectations. Until I found AntiqSnap! Super easy to use, manages my items in a logical manner and most of all attaches a valuation to my antiques that I would have never been able to gather on my own - in other words, I highly recommend this app.

18 items scanned and up to $572. I know it’s a whole different ball game trying to sell them at the correct prices or a waiting game but,I’m 39 years old and always had an affinity for antiques and here’s this app that is reminiscent of the coin version and stamp and I have a rock and stone version I have yet to play with. It’s great fun and a little tool for the sellers out there !
It’s pretty accurate to say the least. But what I cannot figure out is, how do I sell the items I have through the app? Or does this work differently? I am confused because it does ask what currency I prefer so can anyone help me out here? But other than my confusion, the app itself is fantastic and quick .
This app is completely addicting, it will have you running around your house trying to find things that might be valuable! I can’t wait to go to a yard sale and try it when I’m actually out and about! Great app, so much fun and incredibly handy to help identify what is worth keeping/buying!
This is absolutely one of the best antique apps out there. I have tried so many and this one finally gets it right. A lot of times other apps cannot ID antiques correctly which becomes frustrating. But I have had about a 99% accuracy with this app. Totally worth it.
This app is awesome! I can’t believe how accurate it is to give me estimates on what things are worth, either New, used, antique or otherwise it will let you know what is in the picture and what it is worth. Thank you for making such an app to find out estimates more accurately!
Changed the way business is done top to bottom taking a proximity based market to a worldwide market, reduced overhead and writes the book on efficiency when creating portfolio and catalog. I could go on but I’m busy turning my favorite hobby into my primary income business.
This app is awesome for any collector that just want to know what their antique are valued at. Very easy to use and navigate, and also has a collection save feature. I recommend this app for all collectors. The more you use it the more it will grow on you. Try it out today!!!
This App is AMAZING! I only wish that you could categorize and or alphabetize your items. For instance, I’ve identified so many books, that it would be ideal to have all the books arranged together and alphabetized. And, in a category that I create. All items are arranged by the Date/Time you submitted them.
Holy moly…. to finally be able to accurately price your treasures without the need for an antique estate appraiser is a dream come true. I was blessed to have inherited beautiful mid century modern furniture and other pieces from my parents, who were born in 1918 and 1923, and grandparents. Can wait to snap, snap, snap!!
This app is so much fun to use. We have been able to identify antiques passed down through our family as well as items like chandeliers from Europe in our near-century home. Thank you for putting this all together it is brilliant!
Looked items up on google and found same thing within app so will be checking more items that didn’t come up on google.
Not into it no more I tried to get out of it I was just trying it out on a couple pieces I had. I tried to get out of it and I can’t get out of it. You keep charging me for it. Thank you.
Over several hundred items I have found their value estimates to be rooted in competitive and comparable value. I recommend giving them a try
I have saved so much time by using this app! I am downsizing and being able to separate the more valuable things that I have collected through the years has been great!
I took two photographs over three day period of the same original artwork by itzchak tarkay . The first photograph was recognized as only in his style. The second photograph was correctly recognized and given a higher value.
I have recorded all my vintage/antique pieces and appreciate that I can export to an excel worksheet. Since I am recording for purposes to guide kids after I pass, would love to include some type of picture of each piece so they have an easy reference. Only requested improvement.
I highly recommend this app if you're wondering about those things you have or have been handed down. It gives you a great starting point.
I downloaded this today and it has been accurate. I wish you could separate your collections and see the different categories. Works great!
It’s really easy to take pictures of an item and in seconds you have a description and value.
We inherited both our parent’s houses full of “stuff”. This program is helping us to go through things to know what to keep, what to sell, what to donate, and what goes ing the dust bin. Highly recommend.
Would be nice if you were able to share my collection with social media and make it easy to post on marketplace.
I’ve just this for an hour and I’m loving it! It really recognizes things and the values seem pretty accurate. It just made one mistake so far. My stainless silverware was identified as silver plated. All in all, it’s amazingly accurate.
Although I was disappointed in the price ranges of my items, I found the app very legit. It showed various identical items also on sale through various sites.
I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of data generated from each of my photos! It won’t replace a professional appraisal but its a great place to start. I recommend
I spent yesterday taking photos and gleefully awaiting your estimates of our hand-me-down and estate sale accrued ‘stuff’! Much to my surprise, they were a few that really thrilled me. What a great app!
This app is great. It has identified items correctly without the markings on back showing. A couple were not correct but they were diamonique stones from QVC and gold or platinum plated. It identified them as real. I did correct that. That’s why the 4 ⭐️ But I love this app👍
I have used the other apps like NoteSnap and CoinSnap and very are great I just got this one today and it worked very well came up the good work and thank you for making test working apps for us collectors
I’m impressed with the accuracy of this app. It is really handy when you are purchasing items and don’t know their real value.
I’m an artist and have also collected art for over 40 yrs. This tool gave me new insight to my personal collection and allowed me to be more informed of the current value(s).
Overall, a great way to manage your collection. One improvement I would recommend would be to allow additional photos per entry.
Only about 50% of the items I’ve scanned so far have been accurate.
In genuinely shocked at the quality of this app, for so long I wished there was an app like this and I’m not disappointed for once . Wish I could give more stars
I have decided to accept membership for one year and I will reevaluate at that time. This app accurately identified between vintage and antique. I did know my antiques from my vintage items so the app was accurate in those cases.
I’m excited to get started
My sister-in-law introduced me to this app. It is awesome and well made and easy to use. It is worth the price.
Finally, an app for antiques.
Amazing app, works great, I love it ! Thank you
What a great app. I love it I can now go around thrift stores and check items for their value. I love it
Nous pouvons savoir ce que vaut nos trésors . Merci !
The
App is a great place to start when looking at old glassware . Need to be able to share and or export it as one file . And or connect with people who may want to buy it in this app.
Cool
It’s a great but i think it’s too expensive to keep
Excellent app
J’utilise la version gratuite pour le moment et je la trouve fantastique. Je songe à m’abonner mais j’aimerais savoir si on peut imprimer les fiches pour la vente dans la version complète. Merci!
Great
I haven’t tried this program yet but love the idea of how it works.
Very user friendly ! Easy and fun
J’apprécie de voir les comparatifs avec photos et liens. Bien sûr s’il y avait possibilité de mettre deux ou trois photos pour y mètre les dates ou signatures ce serait encore plus intéressant. Je vais garder ce logiciel.
This is going to be so helpful!
Great product with some interesting features stand by for more
It appears to be a great concept, wondering what we’ll find out once used
I love this app, saves so much time and helps when searching
AntiqSnap: Antique Identifier Negative Reviews and Ratings
App looks promising, Id really like to try it and give a solid review as a vouch, if the developer / owner is open to that. I do leave excellent, honest, and helpful real world reviews. I have access to lots of collectibles and shows I regularly attend, as well as going to high end estate sales and liquidation events. I dont like the only option of paying to try an app with a credit card, or linked to an account which automatically charges me after 7 days (if you forget to cancel within that very short time period) What can you really do and accomplish in a 7 day trial time, when you travel to shows and events and see things across the country and around the world? I'd be happy to test out this app on a very regular basis for the developer /owner for free, and provide my honest and solid feedback. All I ask is for a full access account so I have ample time to explore various items in the real world and see how the app performs against other comps and the like. To the developer / owner of this app, feel free to reach out to me if that's something you'd be interested in doing. Thanks.
Used this app and was very disappointed as it gave me very general information and was inaccurate many times compared to just uploading a picture to Google search. Google gave me very detailed search results and was extremely accurate with style, era, designers, material etc. when it came to researching my antique jewelry and antiques. Antique snap was not and when you can get the correct information on the antiques you are researching through Google which is free, do not waste your time and money trying this app.
Wanted to test the free trial and they had an option to “remind you when the free trial is up” only to never receive a notification for that and they just took my money anyway. There’s “options” in the settings for you to contact them or leave a positive rating in the app that takes you to this review page so you can “encourage” them. Of course the contact us button does nothing, apparently it’s just there for show. I’d love to be able to talk to their “support” but it’s pretty clear they don’t care and just want your money. If I could leave negative stars I would.
I didn’t find the app particularly helpful or accurate, but I didn’t make a note to cancel before the three day trial ended, partly because they said they would send a reminder after the second day. Well… no reminder, I forgot (that’s on me, I acknowledge that), so I got charged for a year and Apple did not back me up, even though I cancelled on the first day after the trial. So by all means try it out, but make sure you set a reminder to decide if you want to spend $50 before the trial is over.
I was so excited to find something so easy to use for all the antiques I have in my house passed down to me. In order to weigh the accuracy, I snapped two 75+ year old crystal lamps appraised at $2000 each and an original 1991 Longaberger signed pottery bowl from the first thrown set formerly appraised several years ago, prior to company closing at $250. The lamps said $200 and the bowl said $50. I would lose a great deal of value and money depending on this app.
They are charging for something that I can get for free from that Googly eye image search. I searched some of the same item(s) in both with the same results, and I’m perfectly capable of clicking on a link for pricing. If you search for, say a plate or a painting, you can’t add a maker or an artist, so the pricing was way off. In fact, you can’t add any additional parameters at all - stupid. It stated wrong origin, era, etc., several times. I paid $1 for a free 30 day trial, and I’m OK with playing with a new toy for a month, but zero chance I’m buying a subscription.
I realized the very first day I installed this app that I would not use it much. I emailed asking for help to unsubscribe before the deadline. Only to be told that they can’t help with cancellation of the account. THIS is why I don’t download apps. I have pushed every cancel button and option I can find in hopes that this app has been cancelled. If anyone from the company would contact me to help with this matter I will change my 1 star rating. Otherwise, I stand by the fact that they make this difficult to cancel.
I was trying to look at other content and was badgered into a 3 day trial. I immediately cancelled it and now there’s a $43 charge thru apple billing and it looks like my only option is to pay it then ask for a refund but the last time I did that I was denied. I only lost $2.99 last time. I can’t even afford to pay for this up front to begin with and then gamble on getting my money back. This is bad business so please don’t make the mistake I did as I can’t even update my apps until this is resolved.
I’m won’t be using this app because it gives extremely inflated values for everything I scan. Items it tells me are worth $75, sell for $7 on eBay. That doesn’t help me to find a buyer. And it doesn’t help me decide whether to keep an item or to sell it. It also misidentifies many items, saying an item is sterling silver when it doesn’t even look like sterling. It’s a great idea, but the inaccuracies accumulate and are not helpful to me.
Hello, I am reporting this app for misleading pricing practices. The app is advertised as free in the App Store, and there is no clear disclosure during download or onboarding that a paid subscription is required. Only after completing the entire setup process does the app present a mandatory paywall in order to proceed. This constitutes deceptive “drip pricing” and creates a false impression that the app can be used without payment. The material cost of using the app is not disclosed in a clear and conspicuous manner prior to onboarding, which violates App Store Review Guidelines regarding transparency and user consent. Additionally, there is no easily accessible developer contact information provided. I am requesting that Apple review this app for misleading practices and take appropriate action. Thank you. Mindy Bayarsky-Savitt
I'm trying to go through my parents old paintings and antiques. I was hopeful that this app could identify each piece and give it a value. Unfortunately, it doesn't recognize most items and only gives general value. For instance, I have a valuable painting by a familiar artist. The app identified it as a "landscape" with a value between $50-$300. Not even close. Might be good for some furniture pieces but not artwork.
The option to print is in CSV and there’s no customer support when I email to the address. It comes back undeliverable. They need to post. A phone number or the right email address because the Printing option needs to work in order to buy this app. How does a concerned customer on a trial. Get answers to this please respond.

Honestly useless, obviously no credentials and no value because they ask you to research more on the item … and even though you’ve provided pics and even credible information, they get it way wrong and ask you to investigate further …. Basically useless and be careful! They might give you info right away and if you dig a bit , you realize it’s false or wrong info.. too bad … need a place that’s authentic , not AI garbage :(
Tried it three times with different jewelry boxes each time said it was a travel trunk don’t buy google is better
Does recognize well known art. Don’t waste your time.
Please cancel
I am surrounded by art, $5,000+ paintings and it gives $240. . Absolute worthless app. Cancelled free trial and deleted app in 5 minutes.
I signed up to try this app with the 7 day free trial and was immediately charged 22.99. I can’t get ahold of the developer to request refund. I will be disputing the charge on my account.
Creating the collection to view is good but then to manage the items to sell, gift or even organize in Excel/ Word or database product is critical. I am not sure if this is currently possible? In fact all your products eg for coins too etc this is an important function. Thank you.
You can do better with a Google search. I tested on 10 items of which I had detailed research. I found the app’s accuracy at about 20% overall. If you update the information it changes nothing happens making it especially useless for the “collection” component. Pass on this app!
