Also, unlike some traditional hand-held Hebrew and Greek concordances, in this app, the Hebrew and Greek words are inserted into the text (KJV) where they belong, giving you a visual of where the original words were in the text. Then, you can actually see what English words were used to translate the original words. What you’ll often find is that the translators often used some English words that were not in the original text, or had nothing to do with the meaning of a particular Hebrew or Greek word, though the translators meant well in trying to convey the meaning of a verse. Geat Tool, One Minor inconvenienceThe app works great, and I resort to it often. However, it has one oddball quirk that slows me down every time; The app opens with the alphabet in squares, one of which you select to begin your search. Rather than continuing on that page, so that one can type in the rest of the letters of the word, it then switches to a default iPhone keyboard (on my iPhone 6), forcing me too change my gears, so to speak. It always takes moments for me to adjust to the different location and smaller keyboard, since my mind is on the search, and not on the page layout. My suggestion to the developers is that the input page either remain on the first page with alphabet in squares, Or that it start and finish with a default keyboard. Love this app!I have this app one three devices. It's wonderful to use when you want to dig deeper into God's meaning behind the words on the pages of the Bible. The concordance is a tool every believer should have, and this app makes studying so much easier and faster than a physical copy. I have a couple suggestions. A back button, that would allow me to go back to the verse I was studying, would be a wonderful addition. Also, once I select a hyperlink concordance number, it would be nice if, in the window that opens, those concordance numbers would also be hyperlinked as well. Strongs Exhaustive ConcordanceNo serious student of God’s word, without having the ability to go back to what the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek will ever find out what was truly being said. Although the KJV is the best for the English reader is has glaring mistranslations, also some very questionable changing of what was originally written. The Strongs takes that problem and gets rid of it, but also in some cases gives a little insight into the whys, ways, and who’s. Knowing that Yeshua Christ Jesus spoke in parables, Father may have also covered some things intentionally for His own reasons. Having eyes they see not, having ears they hear not. It’s entirely God’s decision, same as while yet in their mother’s womb, Jacob I loved, and Esau I hated. Amazing features! I just found the audio button too!The more I use this app the more I Love it! I’ve used a concordance on many occasions but it’s usually my big bulky book at home (I don’t trust apps as much and I hate ads). And I tend to dig and research references too. But this! I thought it was just to look up words or numbers! No! It’s also got the Bible in it so u can read along (see Table of Contents) and get the reference numbers as u go! Then touch those and get the actual definition in the concordance (as a pop up). So u can know what the original intent was! Amazing and all for free! Perfect Bible Study ToolIf you want to delve deeper into learning the Bible, this is a great tool to use. Translating from any language can be difficult, but ancient languages can be next to impossible to decipher. Each word in an ancient language is packed full with feeling and experience whereas modern language is literal, confusing, and dry… like babbling (Babylon). Strong’s ConcordanceI love the concordance and how easy it is to use. I especially like that I can adjust not just the font size, but also the line spacing! I have been looking for a key to explain the punctuation used. For example, if you look up the original language for “wife” in Deuteronomy 22:24, they use parentheses (to set one word apart), but in the very same line they use BOTH parentheses and a sort of curvy brackets (not sure what they are called) on another word! I need to know what these stand for or mean in order to understand what the concordance is saying about the word I am looking up. When you scroll down through the scriptures every time your finger touches a word The definition and Hebrew shows up numerous times in the screen and you can’t move forward. Easy to useThis concordance ap is a little easier to use than others I’ve tried. I wish there was a concordance available that was based on NIV rather than all using KJ. Many of KJ words and meanings are different from today’s language which causes confusion and makes studying more difficult and possibly understanding inaccurate. This app is good for one thing, accurate occurrence numbers of each strong’s numbers of the word.I used this app only for accurate occurrence numbers of each word from the strong’s concordance, BUT, the ad is “right in the middle of the search result!!!,, No options to purchase to avoid seeing the ads, the ad located “right in the middle of the screen and over the Word of God search results.
