Bad systemNo matter how many times I try to restart my phone or do anything to get the app to refresh the movie I’m watching just continues to lag stutter and blur not to mention sometimes I can’t even watch the movie because I’ll play like five seconds and then completely freeze And for some reason near the end of the movie, it started doing this weird thing where the audio would jump like 30 seconds into the movie and start playing audio from parts that I wasn’t even at yet if you’re not gonna take the time to develop an app that has a good system and that doesn’t have many bugs then you shouldn’t charge people 3 to 5 dollars for every movie Please if you wanna watch a movie go find a different app. This is not it..MelikegunVersion: 3.4.6

ScamI purchased a movie on here and can’t even watch it. They scammed me for $5.49. I will try and find a way to report this app. They offer movies at a lower price and they don’t play. DO NOT USE!Sounds like a great deal,BUT they do not care about their customers, they care about the $. First movie rental was great, 2nd movie was lagging and picture quality was bad-I was not able to watch the whole movie. I contacted them and they refused to refund me the $5.00. Had they refunded me I would of continued to use them and give them another chance, but if your more concerned about the $5.00 then in the long run a long standing customer well then good luck because your not going to get far. People read reviews and they also tell others about their experiences. They said that there was steps that I could have done to fix the problem, but I did try to fix it before I requested a refund. I rented from Prime, redbox and numerous other movie rental apps and if I ever had problems they always refunded me without question! I finally got my money back after multiple complaints to PayPal and Roku!.C__dayVersion: 2.2.2

Unfortunate App (No Surround)Be careful with this app. The devs purposely neglect to inform the user that all movies available are only in stereo. If you’re expecting an immersive aural experience, go with a more premium app, as this garbage isn’t ready for prime time and will offer a paltry stereo feed. When emailing about a refund for misleading their users (lacking to divulge the stereo only bit), I was not granted one, only a “sorry for the inconvenience” stock reply. Terrible customer supportFirstly, I was unable to purchase the Equalizer 3 from my iPhone because the buy button simply doesn’t work on my iPhone 14 Max Pro. I contacted their customer support via the iPhone app to report the bug for the third time and every time they respond via email with something along the lines of “it works on our end, maybe you should restart the app”. 2nd, I used my (Android) Galaxy Fold to purchase the movie instead. I received my Google gmail invoice showing my payment to Row 8 and order number and now the movie doesn’t show as purchased in my Row 8 library. I contacted Row 8 customer service again to gain access to my movie and they tell me “we are happy to hear from you, and we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue. In regard to your inquiry, the last transaction that appears in our system on your account was your purchase of Gran Turismo, which was on 9/27/23. We also do not have a record of your current transaction. As such, it appears that you may have encountered a transaction error.” Now I must jump through hoops and prove to them I bought the movie from their platform..CjSeejVersion: 3.2.6

ROW8 has turned to ROW-hate for meI rented Cloud Atlas, it’s in my account history. I had to pause mid-way to take care of something. Somehow I got back to the main menu, now it won’t let me finish it, or start it over. On my Roku it won’t even find the movie, it restarts the app when I search for it. When I click to re-rent it from the Roku search menu from ROW8, it flakes out and won’t let me. I can find and watch it from the ROW8 app on my phone but NOT my TV? WTH? I can’t fine support anywhere else at all, so this review is my last resort.
