I have downloaded several apps like this and, this one, by far, exceeds all the others that I have tried!! This one has become the only one I use now!! I love that I can watch ads or read articles to continue to read on in a book!! You do have to wait sometimes for several hours to get more ads but, you do get a lot of chapters before that happens!! The ads and articles are not long either so, you get right back to reading your next chapter!!! The coin and points system is still a little confusing for me because, I haven't quite figured out how to transfer my points to coins?! For example: right now, I have over 1,300 points and I know that it will transfer them automatically if I continue to read daily but, they do expire so, I am wondering if there is a way to exchange them into coins so, that I can purchase chapters whenever I need to? The only thing I see in the points center is an exchange for coins to points and I really don't see the purpose for that because what you really need is coins right?? I try to watch as many of the videos I can each day to gather as many points and coins as I possibly can so, I hope this helps you guys and the Authors as well!! Any advice/information on the coins/points exchange would be greatly appreciated too!! I’ve tried a few reading apps and ManoBook:my good story reader is one of the better ones. Stories are pretty well written- English is not the first language for some authors, so the pronouns and sometimes, sentence structure might be a little off, but nothing so off-putting that you give up on reading. The daily free coins are often a high amount, although each chapter is quite expensive, you are able to bulk download which really only saves you a few coins, but it does stretch out your reading experience. And compared with other apps, there is also a wide variety of story genres, enough to keep readers interested. I would give 5 stars if the publishers weren’t so greedy. 20-35 coins a chapter, especially when the chapter is only a few pages, is greedy. If you would offer less expensive chapters I’m sure your readers wouldn’t mind paying reloads.

This novel app is absolutely great from what I can tell. The stories I’ve been reading are fantastic! And if I can’t afford to download the chapters, you can watch ads or read short articles to unlock them. I wish it were like this with all novel apps. The only thing that gets me is that there is a low limit to how many chapters you can unlock like this (which makes no sense to me because you know that they’re making money off of those ads and sponsors). Don’t claims to be free if you’re not. But anyways… You definitely should check this one out regardless! It’s really interesting to read and satisfying at the same time. Like I said, I’m otherwise VERY pleased. The stories are great!

I really enjoy the books on this app and I don’t mind watching ads for more chapters but then that option runs out and it asks for coins but I only get tasks for points not coins so I have to wait for the next day to continue reading the book and by then I find a new book on a different app that doesn’t ask you pay for anything and I can read the book all the way to the end, so as much as I like the stories/books in this app I might have to stick with the other apps that allow you to read books all the way through with no money involved, but thank you for the couple of free chapters I got in the beginning

I love using a reading app because it makes books so easy and convenient to access anytime, anywhere. That is all i can say will definitely be keeping this app. One of my favorites compared to so many other reading apps of its kind i have been suckered into downloading through advertisements. This one is truly my favorite of its kind so far. I do not feel pressured to keep topping up with coins just to finish one book i like and giving up halfway through due to spending more than a traditional book. I like that it gives you the option to watch ads to unlock free chapters if you wish and if you read long enough even gives you some free reading time. Will definitely keep using this app. 😊

I have been faithfully reading the military lords lovely lady story for quite a while now. I absolutely love the story line, faithful doting wife, cheating husband, hateful in-laws, wealth , etc. Kaelyn is too smart to let anyone walk all over her like this story portrays her. Her exit from that family was EPIC!!! A must read, I won’t spoil it by telling it. Kaelyn is a genius who hides her light too well causing people to strive to destroy her out of jealousy and ignorance. My biggest issue with these reading apps is the short chapters, too many ads, and high costs of coins to finish reading the endings, which I hope would be a HEA for her and Rodger. And a complete recovery for Chloe.

I am enjoying this app especially since I can earn next chapters and not have to pay for every chapter. Sometimes I can’t wait the stories are the good and it gets my $$ anyway. You’ll love this app if you want good stories. Last night I was so engrossed my husband ask me to make him a drink and sometime later after he made it himself and I helped myself to a sip he pointed out that he wasn’t sharing since he had asked me to make the drink (joking of course) The whole room got a laugh, as well as my three children, because I didn’t hear him. I have totally enjoyed all of the books that I’ve read so far, the description of the characters are so vivid I can actually picture what they look like. As much as I enjoy reading the stories,I don’t know that I would continue my subscription once it’s ended, because I have spent a significant amount of money on purchasing coins only to run out and have to purchase more and still haven’t been able to complete the book. I think that when you purchase coins you should be able to use it toward buying the book, so you at least get to read the entire book.

I happen to hear one of the stories on Instagram and became hooked and decided to download the app in order to finish the story. I am a sucker for a good reading app and this one has definitely got my attention because it has a lot of good stories on it. The only thing that is slightly annoying is the point and coin system. I just wanna read to read and I have to worry about all these restrictions and watching videos but I’m glad that’s an option. Instead of spending so much money, but I already know I’m gonna spend money on so much coins to unlock these chapters cause I’m hooked😭😭😭

This has to be the best one I’ve downloaded! There are so many ways to read without having to drop $100+ for a single book. Even in bookstores you wouldn’t pay that much. They even have events where some books will be free to read for a certain amount of hours/days. I’m really enjoying this app. I have downloaded a lot of reading apps and I’ve never stayed on any of them for longer than a day. The other apps the only way you can read is if you pay to read. So I deleted them as soon as I see that.

I really like the book. I feel like some of the chapters are repeat from a chapter before, but that’s OK. It’s really just explaining why what happened in the chapter before . And I just wish the chapters were a little bit longer and didn’t cost so many coins just to get to the next chapter. I really don’t mind watching all of the ads to get to the next chapter but when you buy coins, they go so fast and I got to a point that it’s asking for more purchase just to read the last 20 chapters

While I do enjoy the stories, I think the cost is too much. I know of other Apps like this that only charge about $70 USD per year and the reading is free after that. Many APPS, like this APP, make that same mistake. I think it would be wiser to change strategies. Think about offering that kind of discount to those of us willing to edit the stories, as there are many stories on this APP that need to be edited better. This is not a complaint…just a fact. Other than these issues, the story lines are very enjoyable.

This app has great stories on it that lures you in and just can not stop reading it. I like to read all different types of stories especially when I want to clear my mind. Great stories to take you to different places to clear your mind. If you are like me with that kind of reading you should check it out and get lost in a great story. Even if you have to go to bathroom to take nice bubble bath relax while reading a story. I recommend this app for you to check it out and enjoy every minute of the stories on it

The story is pretty predictable. Two people in love/married, mistress interferes in relationship and fake cries at every grievance, man is stupid and believes mistress and treats wife badly, she decides to leave and finds out she is pregnant, man threatens her and forces her to bow to mistress, wife finally runs away and has baby, man realizes he’s an idiot and tries to find “true mat” again, she tells him it’s too late… It seems like so many of these stories are using a very tired formula with worn out tropes about woman. Finally, the chapters are way too short for what the site charges.

You can find very interesting stories to read in this app. You need to pay to get access to some chapters, but you also have the option to do a daily check in, watch videos and play games to get coupons and points so you can keep reading unblocking chapters. In addition, you have the option read some books with free access but in a limited time frame. You need either invest money or time on the app to finish a book.

I’ve just been introduced to (become addicted) reading apps. There’s a lot of options out there and most of the stories are … not the best. But every once in a while you find a diamond in the rough: a cluster of stories with dynamic characters who continue to evolve and surprise you, a story that is engaging to the point of being page-turning-suspense, new worlds that are truly unique! Plus a UI that doesn’t demand cold hard cash but has multiple options to earn credits to read. Manobooks is one of these gems. Try it and get hooked!

I don’t really mind watching a couple ads to read a chapter. It’s a fair amount, about 5 minutes of your time for about 5 minutes give or take of reading time. If you don’t have $10 to spend, it’s a nice option. And I do appreciate the added the option to watch ads instead of having to pay. Along with their points system and coins. So yeah, if you don’t mind ads or you wanna pay the 10 dollars props to you. I’ll keep watching ads. It’s a nice alternative and there’s some pretty decent content on the app.

This app is much better than some of the other reading apps. Stories demonstrate editing and proper grammar. The story flow and progression are consistent and enjoyable to read. I only marked it down a star because the app can be frustrating to navigate. Getting back to the homepage from the books sometimes seems futile and restarting the app is the only way to get to the Home Screen. I do appreciate that the app does have some settings to improve the reading experience overall- font size, colors, etc.

I’ve only read one book, however, I can honestly say that this reading app has been a little better than most I’ve come across. The grammar and spelling is better, which I appreciate. I also like that there are “free” ways to obtain coins, points, and free reading time without making a purchase. The downside (and maybe it’s the book I’m reading) is the content of the story. There are some continuity flaws and lack of smooth development of characters. Overall, this app isn’t bad.

I have been absolutely thrilled reading this story. It has so many plots and twists that it’s really quite absorbing. The character of Nova, mysterious operative, secret genius, and much much more is a delight to read. Rowan, her contract husband, is just as faceted and surprisingly a well rounded character. And Nova’s family, the impoverished elite, each has their own sadistic quirks. And each character involved contributes to the secrecy and suspense underlying the main storyline. It’s a great story! Give it a read!

I’ve enjoyed the options to watch ads in order to keep reading. It’s helped a lot because o get so many chapters read before i run out then restarts the next day so i am able to enjoy they stories without having to spend now a days it’s getting more and more expensive but this alternative in this app to watch ads to keep reading chapters has been the best for folks like myself that can’t afford to spend money easily.

I love the books on this app the only problem is that you can’t earn coins I’ve tried to play the games to win some but it’s set up where it lands on anything but the coins you just end up with more points which are pointless. So you basically can’t read more then a chapter a day if that unless you spend money on it and you run thru the coins so fast that you end up sending a lot of money.

Wish I could binge read. I unlocked some chapters so my bonus coins wouldn’t expire first. When I went back to read unlocked chapters they were locked with a notification saying they were locked back because I didn’t read fast enough. There is no other way to get bonus unless you pay for them. So you can’t save up many days worth without them expiring. You can’t unlock without that expiring. So they do everything they can to make you pay to read.

This application is incredible how each chapter catches you and you can't stop reading. I love reading and the stories that are found are fascinating as the mind begins to imagine each character each landscape as they describe them. The truth is that it helps me relax There are several types of stories and all of them are interested with a lot of intrigue so much that it is difficult to stop reading

This app has a good selection of books to read and many ways to collect points. One challenge is that most of the activities earn points and not coins. It would be nice if the store would let users convert points into coins or if you could purchase chapters with points. This way you could consistently read the same book before having to start new ones using the points. It would also be nice to be able to view more videos to unlock chapters.

Great stories but the point thing is confusing. I thinking I’m doing something to help read my book but I guess it only gives you chapters from specific books. And I don’t wanna look real hard because I want to read my book. Maybe this is the one that you can watch a couple ads to open chapters after the free ones. But I like the story and know I have liked others because I realize I’ve run into the point thing before.

I really enjoy this app because it has great stories that keep me engaged & entertained. The content is fun & high quality, and I love discovering new tales to read. My only wish is that there were easier ways to earn coins without having to spend real money. As it is now, earning coins feels slow & limited, which makes it harder to unlock more stories. Overall a great experience but could be improved with more free coin options.

This has been the BEST book that I have read in years. It’s sad how you can’t just purchase a book to read without having to constantly watch gaming videos or continue to buy coins. Once I have enough coins to finish the last few chapters of this book I will no longer use this app. Great stories to read but the videos and constant coin purchases make it too good to be true and just not worth it.

This app is so good! Way better than other story apps I’ve had. It gives you an opportunity to watch ads so that you can unlock chapters instead of pressuring you into buying coins. Even though that option still stands. The only thing is sometimes they don’t give the rewards after watching the ads on reading the articles so you have to redo it and it starts to get a little tiring. Other than that good app

I love their novels. However, I find it very difficult that they do not have like a weekly unlimited price. It’s like you have to keep watching ads and watching ads and you actually spend more time doing this than actually reading the book. Stories are great, but Access could be a little more reasonable.

I have previously been bamboozled by apps luring me with promises of free reading and being suckered into providing my credit card information to continue. This doesn’t seem to be essential for this particular app. It would be even better if there was a clearer path to earning more reading time at a faster rate.

Compared to the other reading apps - this one at least gives you the option to read for free......but you'll need to watch a lot of ads. The chapters are also very short. But at least there's a free option!

I love this app

I like the books. But their customer service is nonexistent. “Annie” (the AI) is never at her desk even when it’s 2:45 in the afternoon or 9:30 in the morning of the day or night. Even though you asked for an agent, they never get back to you nor is anything ever resolved. If you buy 1000 coins and you get 50 bonus coins. Ex: 39 coins per chapter, but instead of using up the bonus coins and then you’d still have 11 bonus coins left they take the 39 from your bonus and 39 also from your paid coins so you’re getting charged double download say 20 chapters and using a bulk amount so say you downloaded 20 chapters @ 252 coins for the 20 chapter and you had 500 coins after those 20 chapters are done all 500 of your coins are gone. It’s a rip off and you still cannot get Customer Service to do about it! Plus, there’s some tarot card site that they send you to to get some free coins. Of course you don’t get the free coins but you’re stuck on it that it continuously and their trackers on that site too so you never get the free coins and you keep going back to the tarot card thing and you can’t even move site at all don’t don’t go with this company!

No permissions are requested for Live Activities from this application. It routes payment by default through Link, but the pay email is Chinese, and if you don't keep their linking page, you have to email them to cancel. The Live Activities allow a pass-through permission for camera use (denoted by the orange indicator on iPhone), and is constantly active through the banner, even when the app is closed. You only have the option to pay through Apple Pay (I imagine a requirement to host on the App Store), Link, CashApp, bank account, or direct card information. There's no way to hide your email or address. The stories are short and clearly have AI cover art, and may be written by automation as well. It's presented as a Latin app - even the app options in the drawer are in Spanish, but the application itself is from a company based in Hong Kong. Please remove it from the allowed App Store. It is a security risk to US and EU customers of Apple. They are surveilling users illegally.

I’m really enjoying the books and I like reading the story, but if you don’t watch ads after each chapter you have to pay to get chapters unlocked. You have to watch two ads for one chapter and what really annoys me even more is that they sometimes are not even in English.I don’t mind paying some money, the problem I have that you have to spend almost a hundred dollars for a book. Yes you can earn points and coins but it takes for ever before you get enough to unlock a couple of chapters. I’m on Social Security and can’t afford to constantly spend that kind of money for a book to read. I won’t to the subscription because even they are ridiculously expensive plus I tried that once and couldn’t access the book and had a heck of a time to get it cancelled.

If you’re looking for something that’s going to give you what you’re getting on TikTok previews this is not what you do. There are other apps that you can get stories that are not AI generated and change names halfway through. Also, because I have paid for the premium subscription, you still get advertisements for no reason even if you’re switching chapters you’re still getting a 15 to 30 second advertisement unless you cancel out of the app and open it. If you are fine with waiting or paying money to access the subscription that is not 100% and you want AI content, then this is the way to go. After writing this review and going back to the app, I was prompted to wait for another ad even though I have paid for the service. I am canceling it right now.

Love the app and the stories. I just wish you could take your points and turn them into coins. I don’t like putting any information in to purchase more coins. Also the read the articles to earn coins is a deception. I was able to read a few articles and get my coins but after a few it changed and I couldn’t read any articles and earn coins. I tried clicking on the links it brought up other links to click on but it did nothing and the earning of the coins stopped. So deeply angry at that. You say 18 articles and it’s more like 6 and then nothing. Not to happy about that. And writing this review for the fifth time I still haven’t received my coins for it. Making me lower my stars even more each time. And the fact that you aren’t posting this is annoying.

Do not use your card to buy anything on here. They will use a round about way in order to charge you continuously. You will NOT be able to cancel this subscription. You can attempt in app but it will tell you that it’s unavailable and to try emailing. Once you email they will tell you to try in-app customer service. Once you try customer service they will tell you to cancel the subscription through your App Store or Phone Settings but the purchase history AND subscription won’t be available to view, and therefore it is impossible to cancel. If you want a live chat then the employee will be away from their station. I literally have to disable my entire cash app account because of this.

The story I decided to follow was good enough that the translator didn’t bother me too much. Lots of grammar issues, but I could easily understand it was a translated book. What bothers me though, is you’ll pay quite a bit to finish a story, more than you would to buy a book. And as I tried to collect free coins to read the last six chapters they disappear after so many days. So essentially you have to pay. There is also short chapters so many ads even after paying. You’ll pay around $15 in exchange for 10 chapters when a story is 225 plus chapters.

While you have to pay a lot of money for coins they are stealing from you…. I have purchase my coins and everyday for the “auto conversion” they charge you 100 coins (that you purchased) just to only give 20mins in return…. My grandmother passed away and I hadn’t read in a couple days when I logged back on my 800 coins were down to 300 and I was like what happened I looked at the used history and that is what they did… they have been stealing… I have spent well over 100$ in the last 2 weeks and for me not to have unlocked more chapters (because I purchase in bulk) my coins should have still been there. It is expensive to read as it s and then you steal from us

The books lure you in and then the pay per chapter of watch an ad starts. At first it is one ad, then two, then three and then you get to four ads after every chapter. It was hard to get through the book so I opted to buy coins. Spent was you would pay for a book thinking it would cover the book. Nope! Hardly got me through a third of the book. Going through the same ad process and getting frustrated again, I bought more coins. The book is good but not what I have now spent on it. Keep in mind, I have watched a ton of ads too! Here is where they get you- each chapter is a page or two at most! Chapters don’t complete scenes. Please beware! Don’t fall for it!

Books are usually short but you end up taking a long time to read because you’re too busy watching ads or reading articles to earn coins or you have to pay a weekly/monthly/yearly subscription to read which in turn is high cost roughly 50-60dollars a month depending on which subscription you get without tax… so would not recommend unless you’re willing to pay or do the grind to get the free coins… otherwise great reading interface easy to use and handle and stories are relatively well written

Love the books in the app but for sure it takes a lot of money to keep uploading coins to read chapters. Chapters use at times more than 100 coins and buying coins all the time can add up. Coins do not last too much so I have to manage my reading time so I can have a few chapters to read during the week. Overall the books are great I wish the app allowed more ways to gain coins other than watching many videos and maybe having an option to cash points Into coins.

I really liked the book. But the app makes you watch videos or pay money to continue to read books. And as you get further into the book the chapters cost more coins, which you can’t possibly earn enough everyday to continue reading the book. Paying real money to buy chapters also only allows you to read a few chapters once your further into the book. I’m on chapter 1004 and still haven’t finished reading the book because I’m tired of paying more money to read. I can finish a book in a few days or a week if they would let me earn enough coins. So I do not recommend the app.

This app lets you watch videos to unlock chapters, but you waste all your time unlocking chapters that will be locked again in 2 days. Even though they claim 15 days. I wasted time letting them get $ for adds and they locked all the chapters I had unlocked. What a waste of time. I was loving the book but they screwed me over so I won’t be coming back to finish the book. they lost $ on both purchases and ads. Cuz major waste of effort on videos for nothing. they probably lock purchased chapters too? Seems like they would if they are telling you your time making them $ on videos is worthless……

I like the app because is soo easy to understand the way you change the coupons and the coins but I wish they could go down with the time of the points for change to coupons. I understand the idea is to spend money to buy the next episodes but sometimes we are soo merged into the story we’re reading and can’t buy the pack of coins that we just have to wait till the next change that we lost the interest. Regardless the stories you can find in the app are awesome

Ridiculously expensive. You end up paying around $20 per 50 episodes and there are novels with over 200 episodes. Otherwise you have to spend around 30 minutes watching ads to get a couple of episodes for free. It would take around six months to finish a short novel. Never again.

To read one page you must watch 5 min of ads or pay high prices to unlock chapters. Way more than the price of a book . Do not recommend

Such a pain to have to watch adds to read books. If you buy coins, it gets REALLY EXPENSIVE! I could buy 10 books on KOBO for reading one book on Manobooks. Not worth it.

The story I am ready is good I do wish that the price wasn’t more than a physical book. More free reading time would make this app number 1

The app works as expected and I noticed the updates make the application more user friendly I have completed a few stories.I am currently read several stories at a time

Who ever heard of 10 chapters costing $20. And the so-called rewards points/coins are so meagre, it’s pathetic. You have to be a millionaire to just read one book. The stories are interesting but who can pay hundreds of dollars to read a book when there’s other apps where you can read the whole book for one small fee.

Interesting novel but to much repetition. Paying for chapters with the same information. Story doesn’t move forward with each chapter.

Books are great, but APP is stupid expensive even when advertising “free reading” yeah free reading after watching more ads than what you have read (anywhere from 1-4 hours) and I could be done a book in that time as the chapters of a average book is anywhere from 6 to 11 pages long (with print size 3-6 paperback book pages) if a fast reader, which I am a chapter can be done in a min or under …. With that said just like any other reading app if there is so many ads or purchases that need to be made, the app is not free to read, whether purchased coins or paying you with time. Yes they relock chapters also if not reading anything for a day or 2

The app has lots of books which is nice… However, the storylines are over extended and full of repetition. It also requires you pay for coins to unlock chapters for these sub par storylines that go on for hundreds of chapters. Best sellers have few chapters and worth every penny but these stories are a waste of my time and money… too long and too expensive. I do not recommend

I’ve tried to open 3 books that are supposed to be on the app.. but none of them have come up.. and unable to locate them in the app itself. What a waste of time!

Books starts out free by watching ads for free chapters until the last 25 chapters then even with saved free coins you have to buy coins to finish the book. What a waste of time and chapters are super short . Wouldn’t waste my time with this app

Too much money for what you get. I have already spent enough money to have purchased 2 full novels from the book store and I am only half way thru the story. I enjoyed the author’s story so I guess I will finish this story then delete the app.

Love the stories but find them very expensive and watching the ads very tedious. Wish you could just buy the book and read it.

It is absolutely ridiculous. The chapters are barely as long as the page in a regular book and you have to watch so many advertisements in order to get a chapter and to pay for it. The price is absolutely phenomenal. Story lines are interesting, but a normal person can't afford to read any of these books.
