Not a smooth uxThe app works as I expected, similar to WhatsApp web but has the ability to store both mine and my husbands accounts which is great since iPads don’t support multiple users very well. It would be much smoother if it didn’t require me to pick my name everytime I come back to the app (I am not closing it, just doing other things on and off the iPad) as I use the iPad on and off for long stretches of time on my own. Working AgainAfter the update, I had to scan the QR code every time I opened the app, even if I switched apps or closed it for a second. I’m using it with an iPhone 8 Plus and an iPhone 6 Plus. Apparently the 6 Plus was the problem child because it will only update to iOS 12.x. I just tried it again after a hiatus and it seems to be working properly again. Developer listens!New review 4/27/2020: Developer addressed my concern in one day which is awesome! My only other complaint about the app and the reason why I still can’t give it 5 stars is because when you click on an image in a chat, you can’t zoom in or zoom out on the image. You can do this in other WhatsApp Web clients. Once that’s fixed this is an easy 5 star app. Old review: Out of all the WhatsApp Web clients this one looks the best but has a fatal flaw. For some reason you can’t see how many unread messages you have in each chat. Not sure if it’s just my phone or what the issue is.
