Needs workI love her work! I’m honestly shocked that the price is only $5.99 to get her recipes. Much cheaper than having to buy a cookbook. Some negatives are that some pictures are not in focus and remain blurry. Another down side is that not all of her recipes are on it. I mainly bought the app for a raspberry cheesecake she made a while back, which I could not find in the app. I’m sure the longer she has the app available she will work out all the kinks..Caitjane1Version: 1.4.2

Updating my review to 5 starsOriginally I rated this app 4 stars because the recipes assume prior baking experience and is more of an app for intermediate bakers. However, I’m updating my review to 5 stars because I realize that not every recipe or app needs to cater to beginners. Maja’s work is gorgeous, so it is reasonable to assume that her techniques are more advanced. Her recipes are clear but minimal and don’t hold your hand, so I do need to research on my own and google the techniques she mentions, which is fine. I am a beginner so I have extra research to do in order to follow these recipes, but that’s not the app’s fault. The app still deserves all 5 stars. I am also updating my review to 5 stars because after having the app for a few weeks, I’ve come to find a lot of comfort in just browsing the beautiful photos and recipes. I’m still waiting for my ingredients and equipment to arrive in the mail from Europe, so I haven’t been able to start baking her recipes yet, but even just browsing this app brings me a lot of calm and joy. I’m sure it will bring me even more joy once my ingredients arrive and I can start baking. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes!.JoodfVersion: 1.4.2

Amazing pictures, UX needs a small changeFeedback to the devs the bookmark feature is confusing - it seems like the heart icon on top right of a recipe is the way to bookmark because the icon on the bookmark menu is a heart. But the heart doesn’t seem to do anything but update the like count on a recipe. You have to use the bookmark icon itself lower in the recipe page, which I find confusing. I also wish the molds were more precise - diameter is typically given but not depth. But love the pictures and recipes generally!.Brk212Version: 1.4.2

Doesn’t delivery all it promisesEvery recipe should have at least two photos: one showing the finished work and another showing the dessert cut so you can see the inside. The assembly is not explained thoroughly and also a couple of photos showing the assembly would make it better. There is no explanation whatsoever on the decorations. She is an amazing chef but refuses to give away the step by step which is a key factor in an elaborate dessert. I hope an upgrade is in a near future..HA8_PastryVersion: 1.4.2

This is so worth it!!I have also never written a review before but ive never seen an app that deserves 5 stars like this one does! All the desserts look AMAZING! The ingredients are easy to get and the prep is pretty simple. If i could work with whoever makes these that would be a dream come true. OverwhelmingA lot of these recipes call for stuff that professionals use and are great if you have a lot of money to spend on specific ingredients and bakeware. However I do not, I was following the Topless Baker and saw he liked some of this woman’s photos on Instagram, which are beautiful, but they are not for the amateur baker such as myself.
